Synastry observations based on (personal) experience, part 5:
I’m back!!!! After months lmao
Moon opposite mars: a big ‘want’. Moon opposite mars is a story. It’s every romance movie/ romcom aspect, and i’ll tell you why. These people see in each other the potential of moon conjunct mars fullfillment that’s actually (way, but opinions differ ofc) better than the conjunction. That’s because in the opposition, each has something the other lacks. This can create for both people the ultimate romantic fullfilment when brought together by effort and acceptance of each other, and this promise is very hard to let go of. Typically, these are couples that fight a lot but find it very hard to let each other go once they know what they can have with each other, because it really is the best. Just think about it, even the thought of people putting conscious effort to be sweeter to one another is precious. That only creates a bond that’s very raw and very real (quoting jewelastrology here). Then combine that with the power of the mars and the moon and the friction of the opposition, keeping things interesting and keeping both parties learning more. You shouldn’t romanticise struggle in a relationship. Too much ‘work’ can just mean you aren’t compatible. THIS aspect is an exception. Just watch out for possible aggression. That’s never okay. One day I’ll make a seperate post about the amount of moon opposite mars couples in literature. The best I can think of now is Pride and Prejudice, with Mr Darcy being mars and Elizabeth Bennet being moon.
Venus twelfth house overlay: sorry y’all, in my personal experience, it’s true what they say. The twelfth house person has a hard time feeling this overlay on their side, or on a very subconscious level. I was the 12th house person. On one hand, I really ‘got it’ so to say but on the other hand, I don’t have a shitty clue of how he picked up on this ‘thing between us’ he thought or picked up on we had. That’s actually the big thing about this overlay. Don’t lose all hope, but you’ll have one person going “you knoww like there’s this thing between us...” and the 12th house person will be going: “what thing?” 😂 this can actually be nice because the 12th house person will get in touch with that subconscious twelfth housey part of themselves IF there are other nicely supporting aspects. Like the venus person’s venus to other stuff. They say a true connection is always mutual. I want to say to you all that don’t be surprised when a 12th house person in such an overlay is not ‘feeling’ this mutually. I literally wrote in my diary: “i might actually like him when it’s too late. Or just never lol i do not know.”
Update: I wrote this observation months ago in like april. It is now october and I’m starting to gain interest in him, albeit slowly and subconsciously, but, yeah 🤦♀️😂 i came back to this draft being like “WHATT?? Astrology had predicted this TOO for me???”
Moon trine pluto: you know when the fighting super intense troubled couple FINALLY gets together in this really intense and satisfying time when things are finally going the way they’re planned? Like an end all all good? That is this overlay, but constantly. On the outside, it’s the annoyingly passionate/emotional couple in a series that you don’t get because you haven’t seen them do any work to deserve this kind of intense fan-service scene. It’s because it lacked that kind of character development? It was me watching avengers infinity war with vision and wanda. I didn’t like the couple because i didn’t get it. I didn’t know their history i thought it was just some random very bland peaceful couple being very dramatic about each other all the time. Another example (i’m not shitting on this aspect i swear 😂) when a cartoon shows an example of a ‘romantic movie scene’ where the couple says “i loove you!!” And the other goes “oh bill!!” You don’t swoon because you’re like… okay. You get the oogies/ick because it’s like ‘ew that’s a couple’ anyways what I’m trying to say is that moon and pluto are not typical besties they’re supposed to be two problems kind of, they’re two very intense and bare planets, so harmonious flowing energy between them will feel kind of unsettling? Even. So these people will be kind of ‘gross’ with each other but in a soothing way. It’s how you imagine such a trine to be, but it plays out exactly like this irl too lmao! It feels bland on the outside because it’s always going well. And on the inside it plays in the background, because issues bring moon and pluto stuff to the foreground as a ‘theme’ in the relationship. So this aspect is also is the simple idea-of-a-passionate relationship. It’s the groaning “I’ll never let you go!!” Which doesn’t hit the same way for some people because there isn’t any drama or shit that happened before to deserve this pay off. However, some people loooove this aspect and by that I mean people in real life who like to have a secure and deep relationship where two hidden parts of people correspond and love each other well. This aspect is reaallly hard to let go of lol.
Sun conjunct mars: I call this the ‘spicy friends’ aspect. This is the aspect of two people who get into shenanigans together. I also see this aspect a lot with romantic couples who got together young, because it makes for boy-girl relations where the boy actually gets motivated by the person the girl is and the girl feels understood on the same level by the boy. They don’t get bored and so these people will forever get on or be aggravated by each other. It’s because these are two extremely conscious ‘in the moment’ planets so they easily fire off each other and it doesn’t take a lot of energy to have that interaction. No in between. It creates a certain ‘click’ that really motivates both for each other. Not in a deep/karmic way, but in a way that their behaviour connects easily and the energy gets going. It’s really easy to have good sex and interesting energy with this aspect so it’s a really potent aspect to get people together! Also fast, because conscious behaviour is accelerated by each other. I’m thinking dopamine..
Sun conjunct venus: unlike mars, venus is a cold planet, which is totally okay in a synastry, only the interaction plays out a little different. Sun and venus don’t fire off each other. Their influence on each other is more passive and more ‘internal’. The sun, how basic it may sound, warms venus or even makes them burn. Venus gives the sun person chills. The venus person is responsible for the harmony and awesome functionality that this aspect brings. They will take a step back to fully adore and admire sun from afar sometimes. The sun will run to venus basically when it feels it needs love and beauty and also a kind of sensibility that the sun person misses, like a puzzle piece, and the venus person is Thee person who brings that in their life. Vice versa is the sun person someone who personally signifies beauty and love in the eyes of venus, while it brings the heat that the venus craves. So they become passionate and adoring about who each other is. So venus typically loves every little thing the sun person does and the sun person is just taken by the venus person every single day. Think Oliver (venus) and Loretta (sun) from Only Murders In The Building. This aspect makes for real contentment in a relationship because of the strong loving connection that it brings.
Mars in twelfth house synastry or composite: with this placement, you’re not even sure if the person is actually even attracted to you and if you’re making it all up in your head. This is also typically seen as a ‘synastry/composite of secrets’ which I wasn’t so sure about at the time I experienced this one myself, but now I realise, hey, that man actually had a girlfriend while he was giving me ‘special attention’ while holding back, with me being like ‘what could he mean what could he MEAN’ typical mars in twelfth scenario. One guy I had this with in composite was basically lying to me about his sex life and not having cheated on his previous girlfriend… and guess what… I had lied about my sexual history too 😭 I even thought to myself ‘why the f*ck did I lie that elaborately??? I didn’t even have to??’ But whatever, it’s the way of the worlds apparently 😂 but you see how this immediately creates distrust when it is not actually what we mean to do or coming from a place of disrespect. Oh and this aspect in composite also created months of us being like ‘🧍🏻♀️….🧍🏻♂️’ not normal sexual tension, but sexual tension we weren’t sure should be concreticised out loud or in action. We’d only kissed once Monthsss before which is basically nothing in western european student culture. It was like: “does this person know I’m still, in this moment, attracted to/like him/her? Am I making this all up in my head?”
Moon in the 8th house: a lot has been said about this aspect. Just a few things: intensity, yes. Either one will always be a significant person for the rest the person’s lives. It’s not nothing. It’s the basis of real all consuming love that’s a very rare and unique mix between total safety and total rush-like danger, which makes people think it’s a soulmate aspect. It’s actually not, imo, it’s a deeply (deeeeply) karmic aspect. It’s funny to see all the friends with benefits who have this aspect start out as “lol we don’t want a relationship” to “……. Lol nevermind” and end up together. They go back to each other because they’re simply too significant to each other. Fear of being vulnurable is also big on both so they either take that step or they’re just standing there forever. Mutual aspect, but it’s mutual in different ways. Truthfully, I don’t see this aspect so often in relationship charts. I see it with people who are in love with each other and aren’t together, or people who started out casual but still for some reason can’t let each other go after more than a year, or people who have had the roughest most obsessive breakup in history and ask me for advice. Often, people in relationships who have this aspect don’t come to astrologers for advice. They’re too ‘into’ one another to do that, I feel like.
Venus trine moon: cute cute cUTE because the venus loves reassuring the moon person with affection, which makes the moon person feel so safe and endorphined and warm. The moon person simply inspires that in venus! Great for a chart with more difficult aspects !
Moon conjunct jupiter: so if a guy is jupiter and the moon is a woman and they’re married, the woman doesn’t need to worry about jupiter feeling turned off from the relationship by her pregnancy. Moon is the feminine, the nurturer, the mother, jupiter adores and respects her. Jupiter inspires respect, optimism, friendships and all things serotonin. Jupiter will make the moon feel good. The kind of union where the guy will constantly declare how much he lovees her pregnancy glow ✨ the same goes ofc for lesbian relationships but since this is a cultural phenomenon i thought i might touch on it.
Moon opposite jupiter: i feel like this might be the opposite story :/ the girls motherhood and need for support and needs in general will just be the opposite to what the jupiter person finds ‘fun’ and joyful, BUT if they’ve made it this far in the relationship as to have a child together it should be okay. At least the cause of the behaviour would moreso be astrology, not misogyny.
Moon square jupiter: wife jokes, but the ones that are cute and funny.
Moon in third:
Being someone with a moon in third house be like: wow imagine going through something hard and not type 10k words in your notes app about it.
Having your moon overlay in someone’s third house be like: wow imagine going through something and not telling that person 10k words about it
Also: jupiter has such an underrated influence on us in astrology!! Jupiter radiates the most energy out of all the planets in our solar system and may be way more personal and influential than we think in astrology… And in synastry also it’s the MOON

The 12th House in Astrology 🧜♀️🧚♀️ 🦋
(this can apply to both tropical and vedic placement of 12th house because regardless of the system employed, the energy felt and experienced is the same :-)
Most people have a lot of prejudice about the 12h and its energies. There is a largely negative portrayal of it in the mainstream astro community and very little nuanced discussion of the same. So, I thought I'd make a post exploring the 12th and final house in astrology and add more to the existing narrative regarding it.
The 12h is commonly described as the house of loss, liberation, isolation and decline
This house is said to governs misery, waste, expenses as well as divine knowledge, sympathy, Moksha (final emancipation) and life after death. It is also the house of detachment.
Now those are a lot of very contradictory terms. How could a house govern both loss and divine knowledge?
The 12th house and water houses (4h, 8h & 12h) in general are very complex and easily misunderstood. The thing about water is that it has no shape or form of its own, it takes the form of whatever vessel its poured into. another thing about water is that its the most easily polluted element. Water energy is one that must be precariously balanced because these natives easily absorb the influence of others (good or bad), this is one reason why the 12h is the house of "loss" because it truly is the death of the individual. you know those quotes about "i am an amalgamation of every person ive met, every book ive read, every song i loved...." 12housers are actually built like that.
being a 12h native can be rewarding because you absorb absolutely everything like a cosmic sponge but on the other hand, its very easy to lose all sense of self.
especially natives with 12h stelliums may often find it difficult to not take everything so personally. this is not because they think the world revolves around them but because its hard for them to separate themselves from others and their actions. they're personally of the type where everything they say or do is tailored specifically to the person they're interacting with. they may not even be aware that they're doing this, they pick up on energies almost by osmosis and guide their conduct that way. however they must realize that this is peculiar to them and is not something others are naturally accustomed to doing.
there is a reason why Venus exalts in the 12h. you lose all sense of self and give yourself completely to your lover with utmost devotion. love is sacred and profound to them, they will do absolutely anything for their love. which is why they have to be so careful with picking their partners. they have limitless capacity for giving but if you give to the wrong person, you'll be drained. when you merge with the right person, your cup never goes empty with your giving because your union satiates you completely.
if we were to think of houses 1 to 11 as a path of linear development, starting with the 1st house of self & identity and ending with the 11th house of friendship, community & legacy, then we will understand that after an individual goes through all these stages, the only thing left for them to do is seek liberation from this cycle; this is why 12h is the house of Moksha. once you've fulfilled your material desires, you will feel a lack in your life and the only thing left to do is pursue the path of spirituality. Moksha is however not given to one; one must strive for it.
this journey is a deeply personal one and liberation from one's ego and earthly pursuits is far from easy. no matter what these natives do, ultimately, they wont feel satisfied unless they've nourished themselves spiritually.
sometimes these natives may indulge in drugs or other substances to fill the void but as they evolve they will understand what theyre truly yearning for is the spiritual truth.
more often than not, these natives experience "spiritual awakenings" completely unprompted. god decides its time and it happens. much of their early life can be very dark and this "awakening" marks the beginning of a shift in their life. this happens in stages depending on the level of their spiritual evolution.
the 12th house is the house of isolation because what these natives experience is not something that others can understand easily. they are the most likely to develop psychosomatic conditions, simply because their energetic body is so susceptible to influence.
think of the vast endless ocean. can one individual possibly drink up all of that water? its absurd to even consider it. thats kind of what its like to be a 12h native. there's a limitless reservoir to tap into, the energy is so vast that its confusing and disorienting and you have no idea what to do with it. its very easy to be misguided as well. this is why its the house of decline. you have to constantly be on the look out in order to avoid the pitfalls, otherwise its easy to stagnate and easy to harm yourself.
There is a Latin quote that goes as follows:
"What nourishes me, destroys me"
This sums up 12th house energy pretty much. Its the energy of opposites and paradoxes. You need this endless reservoir to function, its the thing that feeds you but if you're not careful, it can also lead you to your own ruin.
Fun fact: Angelina Jolie has this quote tattooed on her. She is a Revati Moon. Pisces occupies the 12th house.
remember that Pisces' symbol is of two fishes swimming in opposite directions. this shows that the innate nature of these natives is to be torn between polarising energies and opposing forces. it is a balancing act to say the least.
these natives are easily misunderstood, simply because there is SO much to them. whatever you think they are, thats what they're not.
going back to the cosmic ocean metaphor, its easy to see how such abundance can feel like an excess and lead to misery and wastefulness. its simply a LOT to handle, not just for others but even for these natives themselves. this is one reason why so many of these natives tend to keep to themselves.
even the more sociable 12h natives often have an interior life that no one will know about, they have a whole another side to them that they keep separate, just because they want to assert complete ownership of this private side as something that belongs only to them and the other, more "public" side that they give to others.
these natives are the most empathetic and if you look at the charts of most "legendary" actors, they'll either have pisces/12h luminaries. empathy does not quite cut it, they can not only feel what others are feeling but embody it fully and experience it as their own. this is what makes them incredible actors. even non-actor 12h natives process things this way and often find that others around them are insensitive or lacking the same capacity. they do not understand why others don't feel as deeply as they do or understand situations the way they do. they find society at large to be very callous and apathetic.
a 12th house native is also capable of feeling apathy and absolute indifference but this is very selective; the 12h is the house of detachment because as it is, they're tethered to the world by a thin cord and are only very mildly connected to things. they're in this world but seldom inhabit it. another side to this is that they're wildly imaginative. although mercury debilitates in the 12h, it does not affect the native too badly, as they simply channel their thoughts into other forms. they are gifted at communicating abstract ideas and make excellent artists due to the same reason. robbed of any sense of what is "practical" or "realistic", they roam free in the realm of the mind. many abstract, surrealist and expressionist artists have either Pisces or other water sign placements in their big 3.
these natives live a life of non-being, as they're already so detached from everything, including themselves; this is not negative on its own and will manifest differently for different individuals; this can mean that they're extremely empathetic or detached to the point of inaction and passivity in extreme cases; they dont find a lot of things to be meaningful and its hard for them to apply themselves because of it. this gives us a glimpse of what life is like after death.
the 12th house also represents spirituality, introspection, foreign travels, hidden enemies, & the subconscious mind and it is the house of endings and undoing.
12th house natives are always intrigued by all things foreign, they feel like they do not belong to the place they're from and feel connected to cultures and people that are foreign to them. since they themselves feel like an alien or are made to feel that way, they feel naturally at ease in foreign places and cultures where everything is alien. they often settle overseas.
these natives court attention wherever they go, because the 12h energy is a very distinct and potent one. a lot of celebrities have it and its a very common fame indicator. due to this reason, they also attract enemies who remain unknown to them. these natives are seldom if ever, engaged in actual feuds with people and if they are, its usually for righteous reasons or because the other person started it. theyre wayyyy too peace loving and lowkey to pick fights with others. this is why they dont know who is speaking ill of them behind their back. they're always minding their own business and it surprises them that others are not doing the same.
everybody is guided by their subconscious and one major part of spirituality is to try and make ourselves more conscious. 12h representing spirituality (the cosmic ocean) makes even more sense considering its opposite (2 fishes swimming in opposite directions) which is the unknown, the subconscious. to be spiritual means to seek truth and to seek answers and swim towards the subconscious to shed light to it and understand it better.
lastly, it is the house of endings and undoing. 12h being the final concluding house represents the end of the cycle. when a cycle ends, the energy is of a complete transformation. only when something has reached completion can it come to an end. the butterfly does not emerge unformed but as a completely fully formed butterfly. the end marks the beginning. the 12h gives way to the 1h.
the creature in the cocoon was not a butterfly. it only became a butterfly when it emerged from the cocoon and to do so means loss of an old identity, loss of self, loss of all that you've ever known. this is your undoing. in order to become somebody else, in order to ascend, we have to be willing to undo ourselves. this is essential to any spiritual practice. we have to rid ourselves and our flimsy shell of identity in order to grow further.
for the same reason, 12housers are constantly transforming. they're the type of people who seem to have lived 10 different lives in one. be it their style, lifestyles, jobs, you name it, they're constantly undoing and transforming themselves. it seems to be the only way they know how to live. once theyve gathered all they can at one place, they outgrow it and change themselves almost entirely afterwards as they venture into something new.
thats it for now. i hope this shed some light on the 12h condition hehe<333

12h venus
observations (i have this placement)
disclaimer: these are just observations, every placement manifests differently based on one’s chart.
the 12h deals with the unknown, when a personal placement such as venus is placed here it may make it difficult to distinguish your emotions.
The movie Sleeping Beauty represents 12h as it deals with sleep (Aurora knocked out and having a random dude kiss her), a mysterious guy kissing her for tRuE lOvE, playing into the 12h energy.
^the gif above from (Beauty and the Beast) showcases a caged rose, which definitely plays into trapped love. you, the 12h venus are the rose, you’re a vessel that’s protected from harm, falling petals represent lessons you will learn but also how this placement can manifest.
Beauty and the Beast can also showcase 12h venus energy, as the Beast signifies the unloved aspect. A lot of trials and tribulations playing into the lessons of love.
there’s this oblivious energy with this placement at times (i sometimes can’t tell when someone likes me or can fully tell)
unrequited love energy
*cackles at the obliviousness you deal with*
I WANT TO MERGE SOULS WITH SOMEONE
^ honestly, I view love as something that engulfs me like souls should be merged, love should transcend!!!
DELULU (point and laugh)
^ no but seriously, one may be delusional when it comes to love.
create a lot of fantasies/scenarios, prone to daydreaming!
^ you can spend hours in your mind, it can be a safehaven.
magnetic and mysterious presence
self-love is important (practice self-care!)
you can be very artistic
i know you love ROMANCE novels (enemies to lovers, academia, friends to lovers, did i already say enemies to lovers)
can be sensitive (psst…being sensitive is a good thing, you’re attuned with yourself!)
empathetic by nature (you may sometimes feel too much and can get overwhelmed)
may have lessons to learn regarding love
can be obsessive (YOU’RE AN UNDERCOVER FBI AGENT)
placement may relate to pisces venus or water venus as 12h is ruled by pisces (water element)
may love to keep aspects surrounding love private, private relationships are your thing
you may have a lot of dreams in regards to love, your crush, partner
those dreams can be revealing (like you will always know what is going on, i’ve heard of individuals with a 12h venus finding out things about their partner through dreams)
^ like at times I can feel too much of another’s emotions and it can plague my mind
a weird occurrence for me is someone crushing on me, I crush on them, they stop? and get a partner (it always catches me off guard, playing into the oblivious energy, I find it funny because I actually can’t tell if this is a pattern)
with this placement (honestly any 12h placement), I would seek solace in meditation. you tend to spend a lot of time in your head, give your brain a break!
may be prone to anxiety (sometimes it can be debilitating)
may be unapproachable (like i’ve never been approached by a potential partner, might stem from our intimidating, magnetic, beautiful, mysterious persona)
there’s an opinion regarding 12h venus being doomed in love but I see it as 12h venus attracting a transcending love (it may take some time, but you are not doomed)
you’re a creative and an artistic individual (sometimes that may be hidden from you, like you won’t see it, but it shows in your work)
please learn how to love yourself, give yourself the love you crave and deserve!! (how you view yourself can affect the ways other see you)
you are loved kiddo, even when you don’t feel loved!!!
this can be a difficult placement to have, you may have a lot of lessons to learn in regards to love, but I assure you, you will be completely fine. you are more than perfect, my mysterious baddie!
*these are just my personal observations*

Astro Observations - 12th House Profection Years
Twelfth house deals with the subconscious mind and our subconscious patterns.
You'll think a lot and reflect a lot on the past. The ruling planet will tell you what that is. Venus - love life, relationship, etc] A lot of the of the thoughts you had as a child also come back up.
Twelfth house seeks to heal you from your emotional past.
If you follow your ruling planet and planets you have in the twelfth house, you'll notice a lot of subconscious habits you did when you were younger and its up to you do what's best like for example Taurus can point to bad eating habits or being more creative and social. You may hadn't thought about these habits as much in the past but they come back up.
Twelfth house can seem like a test of one’s character and identity. People during this time could wonder who they are.
I look at it as being in the cocoon stage of your you becoming into your adulthood.
“Nobody likes you when your 23.” is a common misconception.
It can seem like this especially if you are in the workplace. People could think you're not ready while at this stage. This house opposes the sixth which means you could have some emotions around your work life and daily routine. You start to think about how you can emerge as your own entity.
The Twelfth house is associated with spirituality and the connection to higher realms.
You can get more in touch with spirituality here. However you choose to religion, New age spiritualism, or finding a connection with God. Meditation and praying can be key themes here.
It represents the need for solitude and introspection, allowing for deep self-reflection.
You'll find a lot of isolation in this period whether your used to that or not depends on the rest of your chart.
This house can bring hidden talents and psychic abilities to the surface.
You find your “superpower” towards the end of this protection year if you don't already know it, you can put your Tweltfh house placement/and its ruling sign in the comments and I'll help you.
It encourages the exploration of dreams and the subconscious mind.
Dreams will be frequent and this is because you subconscious mind will be more active then ever. These dreams can carry into your real reality as you may think on them throughout the day. Your sleep is important.
The Twelfth house often indicates a need for closure and letting go of the past.
It can bring about a sense of sacrifice and selflessness. This house signifies the importance of forgiveness and compassion. It represents the need for healing and releasing emotional baggage. Through this you get a sense of transcendence and spiritual growth. This house can indicate a need for solitude/isolation to recharge and find inner peace.
The Twelfth house often brings about a sense of empathy and compassion towards others.
I look at the twelfth house as a big shrooms trip and I'm not encouraging them but if you've ever tried them then yeah that's this house.

Astrology / Twelfth House / 12H
The Twelfth House in astrology, often referred to as the "House of the Unconscious" or "House of Self-Undoing," is a deeply complex and profound area of the natal chart. It governs the hidden, subconscious realms of our psyche, our spiritual life, and the ways in which we might self-sabotage or experience confinement. The Twelfth House represents the unseen aspects of our lives, including our dreams, fears, and the elements that influence us from behind the scenes. In this essay, we will explore the significance of the Twelfth House, its influence on the unconscious mind, spirituality, self-undoing, and the broader themes of isolation, healing, and transcendence.
The Twelfth House: An Overview
The Twelfth House is traditionally associated with the sign of Pisces and its ruling planet, Neptune. These associations emphasize the house’s connection to intuition, mysticism, and the fluidity of the subconscious. While the First House represents our outward identity and personal expression, the Twelfth House governs the inner world, the parts of ourselves that are hidden or repressed. It is the realm of the psyche where we confront our inner demons and seek spiritual growth.
In a natal chart, the sign on the cusp of the Twelfth House, along with any planets located within it, provides insights into how an individual engages with their inner life, their spiritual beliefs, and the ways in which they may encounter or deal with hidden influences. For example, if the Twelfth House is in Aries, the person might approach their inner struggles with a pioneering spirit and directness, often seeking to confront and overcome their fears with courage and determination. Conversely, if the Twelfth House is in Virgo, the individual might approach their subconscious world with a focus on analysis and healing, often seeking to understand and address their inner issues through meticulous self-examination and practical methods.
The Unconscious Mind and Inner Life
One of the primary areas governed by the Twelfth House is the unconscious mind and inner life. This house reflects the aspects of ourselves that are not immediately visible or accessible, including our deepest fears, desires, and unresolved issues. The Twelfth House invites us to explore the hidden facets of our psyche and to confront the elements that influence us from within.
The sign on the cusp of the Twelfth House can indicate how an individual engages with their unconscious mind and inner life. For example, someone with Scorpio on the Twelfth House cusp might have a deep, intense inner world, often grappling with powerful emotions and transformative experiences. They may be drawn to psychological exploration and may have a natural ability to uncover hidden truths about themselves. In contrast, a person with Gemini on the Twelfth House cusp might approach their inner world with curiosity and a desire for mental stimulation. They may find that their unconscious mind is filled with diverse thoughts and ideas, and they may seek to understand their inner life through communication and intellectual exploration.
Planets in the Twelfth House can also influence an individual's relationship with their unconscious mind. For example, Neptune in the Twelfth House might suggest a person who has a strong connection to their intuition and dreams, often experiencing a sense of spiritual or mystical insight. They may have a rich inner life and may be drawn to practices that involve meditation, creativity, or spiritual exploration. Saturn in the Twelfth House, on the other hand, might indicate a person who struggles with self-doubt or feelings of restriction in their inner world. They may need to confront and overcome their fears and limitations in order to achieve a sense of inner stability and growth.
Spirituality and Transcendence
The Twelfth House is also closely associated with spirituality, transcendence, and the quest for deeper meaning. This house reflects our spiritual beliefs, our connection to the divine, and our desire to seek a higher understanding of existence. The Twelfth House encourages us to explore our spiritual practices and to find ways to connect with a sense of purpose and meaning beyond the material world.
The sign on the cusp of the Twelfth House can provide insights into how an individual approaches spirituality and transcendence. For example, someone with Sagittarius on the Twelfth House cusp might be drawn to philosophical or religious exploration, seeking to expand their understanding of the universe through study and spiritual practice. They may have a strong desire to connect with a higher truth or to explore the meaning of life through travel and learning. In contrast, a person with Taurus on the Twelfth House cusp might approach spirituality with a focus on grounding and stability, often seeking to find a sense of inner peace and connection through practical and sensory experiences.
Planets in the Twelfth House can also reveal important aspects of an individual's spiritual journey. For example, Jupiter in the Twelfth House might indicate a person who finds spiritual fulfillment through expansion and growth, often experiencing a sense of grace and abundance in their spiritual practices. They may be drawn to explore different religious or philosophical traditions and may have a natural ability to inspire others through their spiritual beliefs. Pluto in the Twelfth House, on the other hand, might suggest a person who undergoes profound transformation and healing through their spiritual journey. They may confront deep-seated fears and issues, often emerging with a renewed sense of purpose and understanding.
Self-Undoing and Confinement
The Twelfth House also governs the themes of self-undoing and confinement. This house reflects the ways in which we may sabotage ourselves, experience limitations, or encounter hidden obstacles. The Twelfth House challenges us to confront our self-destructive behaviors and to address the factors that may hold us back from achieving our goals.
The sign on the cusp of the Twelfth House can indicate how an individual might experience self-undoing or confinement. For example, someone with Capricorn on the Twelfth House cusp might struggle with feelings of isolation or restriction, often experiencing a sense of pressure or burden in their inner world. They may need to confront and overcome these limitations in order to achieve a sense of inner freedom and success. In contrast, a person with Aquarius on the Twelfth House cusp might experience self-undoing through a sense of detachment or alienation, often needing to find ways to connect with their inner self and to address any feelings of disconnection.
Planets in the Twelfth House can also influence an individual's experience of self-undoing and confinement. For example, Mars in the Twelfth House might indicate a person who struggles with hidden anger or frustration, often finding themselves undermining their own efforts through subconscious patterns of behavior. They may need to address and transform these inner conflicts in order to achieve a sense of balance and control. Venus in the Twelfth House, on the other hand, might suggest a person who experiences self-undoing through issues related to self-worth or hidden desires, often needing to confront and heal any unresolved emotional wounds in order to find a sense of inner harmony.
The Twelfth House in Relation to the Rest of the Chart
The Twelfth House interacts with other areas of the natal chart to provide a comprehensive understanding of how we engage with our unconscious mind, spirituality, and the themes of self-undoing and confinement. Aspects between the Twelfth House and other houses or planets can highlight the connections between these themes and other aspects of our lives.
For example, a harmonious aspect between the Twelfth House and the Fourth House, which governs home and family, might suggest that the individual's inner world is supported by a sense of emotional security and connection. They may find that their spiritual practices or inner exploration are enhanced by a nurturing and stable home environment. Conversely, a challenging aspect between the Twelfth House and the Tenth House, which governs career and public life, might indicate conflicts between the individual's inner struggles and their professional goals. They may need to navigate these challenges in order to find a balance between their inner life and their external ambitions.
Conclusion
The Twelfth House in astrology is a deeply significant area of the natal chart, governing our unconscious mind, spiritual life, and the themes of self-undoing and confinement. It represents the hidden aspects of our psyche, our connection to the divine, and the ways in which we may encounter or overcome hidden obstacles. Understanding the Twelfth House can provide valuable insights into how we engage with our inner world, our spiritual beliefs, and the factors that influence our personal growth and transformation.
Whether we are exploring our unconscious mind, seeking spiritual fulfillment, or addressing issues of self-sabotage, the Twelfth House challenges us to confront the unseen and to find ways to connect with our deeper selves. It encourages us to embrace our inner journey, to seek healing and transcendence, and to navigate the hidden realms of our lives with courage and awareness.

the twelfth house
when Alice Sparkly Kat wrote about the twelfth house she said "The best way to work with the twelfth house is to follow ghosts". viewing the twelfth house through this lens resonates with me as someone with twelfth house emphasis and an interest in the paranormal.
when I think of the twelfth house I picture the black lodge from twin peaks. it seems ominous and scary at first but it ultimately is something happening behind the scenes, much like how I view ghosts. being haunted by a ghost, like the twelfth house, is scarier than it seems. ghosts are malleable; you can make ghosts go away by simply asking them to. in this sense, the planets in the twelfth house are the ghosts we are haunted by. twelfth house is where all things begin and end. it isn't life and death, that is the eighth house. once something has happened it is over and it cannot hurt us anymore, like a ghost.
I'm currently reading the twelfth house by Karen Hamaker-zondag where she analyzes the twelfth house through a jungian viewpoint. she writes about how babies spend at least one year in the unconscious world during infancy as their brain develops. we absorb the energies and emotions of our parent and the collective through our unconscious minds because our infant brain has no repression mechanism. in other words, our brain cannot protect itself during the first few years of life.we have no memory of what happened during this time but on some level, we know the truth.
the sun in the twelfth house can represent a missing father figure early in life -- the father may have been absent mentally emotionally or physically -- in worst cases the father dies or is separated from the child due to a divorce, in other cases he is disinterested or doesn't have the energy for the children. maybe he comes home from work late, too tired to offer the child any attention or affection, or he avoids responsibility of the child, filling his time doing odd jobs about the house, not contributing much to the household. in many cases the sun can show a very dominant mother figure to devalues and demeans the father.
the result is a deep longing to find oneself. you dont know who you are, what you like or who you want to be, or you are embarrassed of or ashamed of who you are and what you like especially if mercury is involved or there is a link to the fifth house (ex fifth house ruler in twelfth house).
moon in twelfth house indicates an emotionally or physically absent mother figure. she could have spent some time in the hospital for a significant time after childbirth, or suffered postpartum depression preventing her from offering the child warmth and closeness it craves. other times the mother has a difficult relationship with her own mother, or struggles to accept her role as a mother.
in this case the child is hyperaware of others emotions so much that it surpasses its own. you could feel out of touch with your own feelings or not feel anything entirely. sometimes you feel everything and nothing all at once. the emotions of your mother/mother figure are subconsciously tied in with your own so much that you are unable to separate them. you long for the sense of security you have been missing all of your life.
one is not required to fend off the ghosts of their past. in the case of Neptune in the twelfth house the individual is highly attached to their ghosts and learns to live with them. Neptune in the twelfth house, on the ascendent or a connection between Neptune and the twelfth house can show a person who is more likely to suffer from paranoia, phobias and obsessive -- many find it necessary to stay connected to the spiritual realm through spirituality, religion, hellenistic/alternative medicines, yoga, dream work etc.

Show Your Work: Nicola Coughlan/Penelope Featherington
For now, I've decided to call this series of astrological investigations "Show Your Work." It's a working title 😉
As promised, let's look for Penelope Bridgerton (née Featherington, aka Lady Whistledown) in Nicola Coughlan's chart.
But first, the same disclaimers as before:
I'm a traditional astrologer. This is the source from which I pull the meanings of the planets, houses and signs. This also means that I use Whole Sign houses. If you're used to Placidus or another house system, things will probably look a bit different here.
Yes, there are natal charts available for the characters of Colin and Penelope. I just haven't had a chance to look at them closely yet. I hope to soon, and we'll see what we can glean!
When we look at a natal chart, individual placements can be read in a multitude of ways depending on what we're wondering about. I'm coming to this chart looking for Bridgerton, so the reading will be very specific.
I don't and won't make delineations for people's personal lives without their consent. That's why we're focusing on a piece of Nicola's public creative output here.
This chart was cast with an estimated birth time, but assuming the rising sign is correct, it's fine for our purposes.
—
Just as we did with Luke's chart, looking at the ruler of the 5th house feels like the most natural thing to do. This means that for Nicola, we're going to be focusing on Mercury (☿) in Capricorn (♑) in the 12th:
The 5th House and its Ruler
Being an Aquarius rising, Nicola's 5th house is Gemini (♊). Gemini isn't the sign of our focus, but I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that the Gemini themes of duality, changeability, deception and invention are quite apt as far as Penelope and Whistledown go.
Anyway, the ruler of Gemini is...
Mercury
This first part is pretty simple: Mercury rules the mind, writing and speech. Penelope is a thinker and a writer. When anyone cares to listen to her, she has a lot to say, and she says it exceedingly well.
But Mercury is also the trickster, so let's discuss the archetype (see: my username). In myths and stories, the trickster is cunning and witty. We'll always find them breaking rules and crossing boundaries, including those associated with the social order, often to chaotic effect. Penelope not only publishes a scandal sheet, but she also blows past the limits of propriety by naming names.
There's also much to be said about gossip's usefulness in holding the powerful to account and the gendered criticism of gossip. Gossip has always been a way for vulnerable groups (in this case, women) to share information outside of the influence or control of the dominant group (in this case, men). The trickster is a disruptor who challenges authority. This is Penelope as Whistledown (and, eventually, as herself).
The trickster is a shapeshifter, and I'm not only talking about Penelope donning a disguise and accent to do business on behalf of Whistledown. Just as the trickster often exhibits gender variability, Penelope plays with the gender roles of Regency society. While she's not completely free to do as she pleases, she has an occupation that she's good at, that she's passionate about, and that brings in a hefty income.
In Nicola's chart, Mercury is very closely conjunct the Sun (☉)—this is called being combust. Combustion is a visual phenomenon whereby a planet is said to be "burnt up" by the Sun and cannot be seen because the Sun's light is too bright.
I don't know if it's possible to count all of the ways that Penelope goes unseen in this show, but let's try:
Not only does the ton spend three seasons not knowing who Whistledown is, but they very rarely take any notice of Penelope either.
At any given ball, Penelope is a wallflower of the first water because none of these dud(e)s think to ask her to dance.
In fact, it's this disregard that allows Penelope to collect information, disappear from events, and even repeatedly spend unchaperoned time with Colin Bridgerton.
Colin himself takes two and a half seasons to see what's directly in front of his face (Penelope... it's Penelope, lol). He doesn't see that she clearly has feelings for him, he doesn't see her as more than a friend, and he doesn't even see that he already has feelings for her. Heck, for a while there, he doesn’t even see her as a woman (“You are Pen. You do not count. You’re my friend.” 💀).
Eloise spends two seasons looking for Whistledown, and it turns out it was her best friend all along. She's also surprised when Penelope and Colin show up engaged because she has somehow never noticed that her closest friend has been in love with her brother the whole time.
Penelope's mother and sisters assume that she's a lost cause who'll remain unmarried. When they find out she's been writing letters to Colin in season 2, they scoff at the idea of them being friends. Portia takes comfort in the idea that Penelope will always be around, but she has no clue that her home is Whistledown HQ.
The 12th House
The 12th house doubles down on these themes of something or someone being unseen. It is a difficult place, but it makes sense for Penelope. Some of its topics include secrets (yes), scandal (uh huh), and hidden enemies (I'd say so).
It's also a place of ostracization. As a woman seen as undesirable for marriage, Penelope is already snubbed by Regency society. Whether it's by her friend (and future husband) Colin Bridgerton or her enemy Cressida Cowper, she's suffered no shortage of slights and cruelty.
She keeps her identity as Whistledown a secret for so long because she risks further alienation if the ton discovers who's been casting aspersions and spilling their secrets.
This house is a place of "self-undoing." Whatever we may think of Whistledown's utility, the whole scheme gets away from Penelope this season. By her own admission, she's made mistakes, hurting others and herself in the process. The only way forward is to own up to it.
Capricorn
Nicola herself has referred to Capricorn as a "famously uncool sign," and I suppose Capricorn has this reputation due to the seriousness of its themes. Resourcefulness, persistence, ambition and goal-setting aren't particularly cool, but they can certainly get you stacks of money under the floorboards.
Capricorn can also be steely and even ruthless. Penelope is a fundamentally good person, but there's an eerie level of discipline, detachment and single-mindedness required to publish gossip about those closest to you, not to mention about yourself.
That being said, I believe that Capricorn (like all signs) is much more complex than folks give it credit for. Let's refer again to Liz Greene in The Astrology of Fate:
I understand [Joseph] Campbell to be saying by this that the father-son polarity, the avenging Lawgiver whose strict and structured rules of life collide with the lusty, libidinous goat-like desires of the son, exists within the one individual. Morality and shame, law and lawlessness, seem to comprise some of the polar opposites of Capricorn. The son must face the father's punishment, only to find that the father is within himself; and the father, the old king, must face the son's rebellion, only to find that it is his own youthful spirit that he thought he had outgrown long ago. The initiation of the son by the father is an inner experience which, it seems as though by fate, Capricorn is often denied in the actual parental relationship, and he must therefore seek it within himself on a deeper level. By this description I am, as usual, not talking about men only, for this father-son constellation belongs as much to woman and her capacity for effectiveness and self-sufficiency in the world as it does to man.
That sums up Pen’s arc pretty tidily, don’t you think?
It's only when she decides to come off the wall and integrate these two disparate parts of herself that she's able to start saying what's really on her mind and articulating her needs. This is when she starts getting what she actually wants: to be with the person she loves, to have better relationships with her mother and sisters, to earn the forgiveness of her best friend, to write openly as herself, and to be recognized by society.
—
That’s all folks!
The next one of these, whenever I get to it, will be looking for Sydney Adamu in Ayo Edibiri's chart.

how love flows through the houses
first house - in the first house, love flows through us from the first breath. we aren’t always loved by those around us, or by ourselves, but i believe we are at our best when love is in all that we do, and all that we are. the first house rules selfhood; our identity, instincts and reactions, our outward expression. from birth, we naturally seek out attachment and love, and this need never really leaves us, simply changing shape over the years. the first house asks us to be the loving adult we needed as children. to treat ourselves with the love we deserve as humans. it asks us to be ourselves, radically and relentlessly, and not to shrink or hide ourselves from the world. it asks us to be.
second house - the second house is where we find love in our immediate surroundings. it’s how we value ourselves, how we value those around us. the security and comfort we feel in the womb, and later, when we find our true home. it’s feeling safe in our own skin, nourishing and embracing ourselves, letting down an anchor within that we can always return to when times are hard and chaos rules our lives. the love of the second house is found through seeing the inherent worth we have as human beings. it’s love that comes from enough; have enough, feel enough, good enough.
third house - in the third house, love is expressed through curiosity, communication, connections. the questioning eyes of an eager child, the first time you met your childhood best friend, staying up all night to finish a new book. it isn’t a romantic kind of love, but the love that we have for our siblings, our friends, our hometown. there’s a sense of nostalgia to it; it’s pure and sweet and a little silly at times. life can often shame and sweep this type of love away as we get older and have to conform to ever-shifting goalposts. the love of the third house comes from a deep desire to understand, and a keenness to connect with the world - and people - around us. we feel it most when we communicate honestly with ourselves and others, and allow ourselves to be beginners.
fourth house - love in the fourth house feels like sitting under a blanket while a storm blares outside. it’s safety, warmth, a soft, sleepy embrace. it’s the faultless environment of the womb. the fourth house is associated with family, and its love is unconditional, like a family’s should be. we aren’t always blessed with good relatives, but i believe we find our true families throughout life, and that they will love us truly and simply, with no airings attached. we feel the love of the fourth house when we nurture the small, soft parts of ourselves and treat them with the love they missed out on earlier; when we are with our family, whoever they may be; when we are curled up in a corner and everything is okay for now.
fifth house - in the fifth house, it’s easy to see love; it’s all about what we create, what we adore and admire, what we breathe life into. it’s a light, sparkling kind of love, that fills us with a glow and a sense of belonging. it is a love to be shared freely and enthusiastically, to show off a little. when we create a work of art, when we connect with a person for the first time, when we make someone’s day, when we hold a newborn for the first time and see how fragile and beautiful they are, we are embodying the spirit of love in the fifth house. we can honour it by showing ourselves respect, kindness, and pride, by being generous and passionate, by having firsts and by having fun along the way.
sixth house - now we plant our feet back on the ground and find ourselves in the sixth house. love here is much more subtle, but we see it through service; what we do for ourselves, our loved ones, our environment. i would say the theme is devotion, not necessarily in the religious sense, though religion is a divine kind of love in and of itself; but we devote ourselves through selfless, timeless love, and that is exactly the spirit of the sixth house. why do we tend a garden? why do we take in animals? why do we kiss a scraped knee? it all comes from love. when we dedicate ourselves to living at a kinder pace, to taking the time to breathe, to finding the ritualistic in the mundane and to creating a sustainable way of living for ourselves and our loved ones, we are full of love.
seventh house - the seventh house is all about partnership. it’s one of the houses that is almost always associated with love, because it traditionally rules our marriage partner and is ruled by venus and libra. but there’s more to love than marriage, and that’s why i like to say partnership instead. you could say that love is expressed in the seventh house through one-on-one connections; both romantically and otherwise, this is where we love the individuals we journey through life with. it’s all about that red thread that runs between you and them. there’s an intimacy and uniqueness to each relationship here, where you and they are reflected at each other. the love of the seventh house is most clearly felt in those moments when there is nothing else in the world but the two of you.
eighth house - the eighth house is another one that’s often associated with love, though of a less cerebral type than its predecessor. we generally think of the physical here, and that’s not wrong, but perhaps misses an important piece of the puzzle; the eighth house rules shared resources. our bodies are a resource when it comes to love, but really, what we are sharing is trust, vulnerability, the binding of two souls as one. when we meet in the middle with love at the forefront, we give a piece of ourselves, and receive a piece of our lover. we each become the missing piece of the other, transforming ourselves on a level we may or may not feel. love here can be murky, but it runs deep and wild.
ninth house - in the ninth house, we find a subtle, cool love. it isn’t fiery or romantic, but it is ageless and transcendent. the ninth house is all about wisdom, exploration, religion, travel. love here is best felt when we do what we love; when we are learning, growing, moving. stagnation is no good here, and the ninth house shows us we need to be challenged a little in order to become our best selves. it doesn’t mean we need to suffer, but when everything is easy, we stop learning and we stop really living. being honest, explorative, open-minded and passionate is the way to embody this patient, unorthodox kind of love.
tenth house - here, we find love through legacy. what have we built? what have we become? the fire within that helped us grow through our challenges, that helped us find our place and master it, and allowed us to build something worth keeping, is where love resides. it’s that little voice inside that urges us forward when everything is dark. it’s ambition, courage, patience and diligence. we see it in good leaders, in kind parents. love here isn’t always pretty, but it is real. it asks us to create something to leave behind, to pass our love down. it asks us to take control of our destiny and then to relinquish it to our descendants.
eleventh house - in the eleventh house, love is felt and expressed through ideas. the nurturing and sharing of ideas and ideals is what helps us build community; it’s what allows us to better the lives of who and what we love. love is fostered through collaboration, and the eleventh house, ruling friends, community and the widest of our social connections, is all about collaborative effort. i believe that the eleventh house teaches us that love isn’t always easy. it’s work, it involves a lot of slowing down and showing up, a lot of listening, it can be slow and tedious. but love is about wanting to be our best selves, and share our best with the ones we love.
twelfth house - pure, infinite, unconditional love. it's unspoken, untouched, but ever-present. it follows us from the first to the last breath, and wraps itself around us like a silken shroud as we step into the next life. we often don't feel this universal love, not consciously; it's a part of everything. do we feel the oxygen in the air we breathe? well, we feel the lack of it. but here in the twelfth house, there is no lack of love. like its ruling sign of pisces, it’s deep, far beyond our consciousness, and draws from infinite pools of unconditional, true love. we embody it by being vulnerable, kind, and finding the lyricism in the everyday.

Pluto in the 12th House
Eternal loneliness?
Some ppl believe this placement has to do with distancing yourself from others.
I have a different theory.
Besides…eternal loneliness sounds pretty lonely. How can loneliness be good for the soul?
Yes, Pluto in the 12th *does* need soul searching and in order to soul search, one must be alone and therefore lonely…
But not forever!
Pluto is all about change! Nothing could ever be forever with Pluto (planet of transformation).
The 12th house is what we hide from ourselves, it is the subconscious. Things you can’t see with your eyes, but that still exist with in reality at every given moment.
What is something we do subconsciously? Body language.
What is the purpose of body language? To convey how you feel, but also it can be used to reinforce someone’s personal boundaries. 🙊
🤔
Transformation caused by the exhausting journey of mastering one’s personal boundaries. 😩
It’s rough out here.
We got dis.💪
The fun part about this placement is that once you begin to stand up more for yourself, you develop this edge.
It’s very scorpionic, as in it is a heavy aspect that can transform you to your core.
Good night and don’t take life too seriously. Remember to breath and have fun.❤️

Gloomy little observations about synastry, Saturn return, the 12H...
Looking at my synastry with my family and friends and realizing how we are not built to understand one another. It's actually wild to see how much we all tend to orient our lives around our Moons and Saturns. (Unless much therapy has been had.) In the end we all act like Cancer.
8H and 12H placements... in a birth chart and also in synastry. I am intimately aware of their unpopularity when trying to have relationships with others. Feels like I am subservient to their needs (12H), and my usefulness to them is contingent on their needs (8H). (For 8H, it kind of feels like people need to be ready for me in order to receive me. I can't just offer my perspective or share something anout myself, I need to wait to be asked. Otherwise, people don't see me, and/or even react to me with anger.)
Kind of feels like I really can only feel like myself and fully breathe when I'm alone. The phrasing of this is interesting because my Moon sign, Libra, is underrepresented in my circle. So I actually feel like my life lacks air, and I can only have air, feed my Moon, when I'm alone?
Been thinking a lot about my Saturn return. My Saturn is in Pisces 12H. I noticed from when Saturn ingressed into Pisces that I've been very aware of the bonds I have with others (codependence), more able to address those patterns in myself, and also much more open to mystical things. (I've had phases in the past but this time feels so much more peaceful a transition.) Saturn return feels like readiness. The stuff I've been trying to do is suddenly happening, so the readiness is there. "Finally..." feeling.
My teacher said that Cap Suns tend to have an easier time with Saturn returns. And I'm also a day chart, which in Hellenistic astrology makes Saturn behave. So those are some disclaimers for others to consider.
Almost my whole chart is locked up by Saturn by aspect, so chains are slowly releasing. My life is moving when it hasn't moved before. Feels a bit like being unleashed.
Looked at my Saturn cycle. When Saturn was at the applying square to my natal Saturn, I felt a huge shift. It's one of my favourite accomplishments of my life so far. I actually finished writing a book. I had never finished anything before (Mars oppose Saturn in nativity), so it was huge. (If I remember right this was also one of those spiritual phases I had.)
I'm wondering if the rule of thumb that people aren't fully aware of their 12H is only true if they don't have a highlighted 12H. When people have planets that land in my 12H by synastry, I am aware. I feel like I'm leaning backwards to them. I feel dependent on their satisfaction. I observe that I lose focus on my dreams the moment they enter a room. (Ruler of my 12H is Saturn, stuck in a T-square with Mars and Jupiter, so that makes sense.) But that could also be that they're likely to hit my Saturn.
The Neptune transit through Pisces has been... something. I'm not 100% sure what I've noticed about it yet.

Mars in the 12th House
Your anger may not be 'felt' by you, it may feel as though when people tell you about your anger, it doesn't feel real. The 12th house clouds our vision and when it is placed in such a raw and direct planet such as Mars, it can dilute our awareness of how powerful (or disruptive) we can be.
You let your frustration out in solitude and rarely let anyone see you when you're angry. You make decisions and moves in private so it can make it difficult for people to have a defined view of you. This can be a good or bad thing - people may mistake your secrecy for bad intentions or simply the idea that you don't like them. However, you just don't feel the need to tell the world what your next step is! With Mars in the 12th house, it makes for someone who feels dutiful towards helping others and charitable organisations. You can motivate people by your spiritual wisdom so careers surrounding helping others such as counselling, medical care or even teaching can give you an immense level of satisfaction. You gain this rare level of satisfaction from helping others as that is the 12th house way - the more you help the more you feel good about yourself and your abilities. But it goes without saying that it is vital that you look after yourself too. You get things done when you are alone so if you are in need of finishing a project - ensure that there are no distractions!
