It’s Day 7 of the Wessagussett Wind/Humidity Wrap 2025. The wind was out of the NW at 18mph with gusts 31mph. The humidity was 53% at 7am. I used the Turqua color of Red Heart Super Saver yarn to show the humidity was 53%. I knit stockinette stitch to show the was blowing at 18mph. It was another very windy, frigid day in Wessagusset. The wind returned with a vengeance making very cold on the porch when I went out to take pictures. It was hard lining up the photos because of the wind, so it took a lot of extended time to get them. I finally completed that, and took my photos inside to sort through for the better ones. I reworked the beginning of the Wrap because I didn’t like the looks of the border color. It is more even now. The It’s late so I’m going to publish. Be safe out there.

2019 Day 008: Splash

As in, a splash of color.  Red Heart Turqua and Black.  It was a pattern off of one of the skein labels.  I need to add an additional layer to the bottom as the stitches are loose and the wind still hits my ears.  I love how it turned out though.

It’s Day 6 of the Wessagussett Wind/Humidity Wrap 2025. The wind was out of the WNW at 10mph with gusts 17mph. The humidity was 57% at 9am. I used the Turqua color of Red Heart Super Saver yarn to show the humidity was 57%. I knit stockinette stitch to show the wind was blowing at 10mph. It was an overcast day in Wessagusset, and once again the day was cold, though the wind has subsided a bit. Tomorrow and Wednesday it should be back with a vengeance if the meteorologists are right. There is. Chance of a snowstorm on Saturday which would be nice. I really miss the snow, and as a retired primary teacher I’m sorry there won’t be a snowday, but I’ll be happy to see the white on the winter ground for a change. I finally got a change in humidity, so I used a new color of yarn at last. Be safe out there.
