A fascinating new study, published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation, has revealed an unexpected potential benefit of severe COVID infection: it may help shrink cancer. This surprising finding, based on research conducted in mice, opens up new possibilities for cancer treatment and sheds light on the complex interactions between the immune system and cancer cells – but it certainly doesn't mean people should actively try to catch COVID.

Just wanted to drop in and say I’m thinking of you. No-results-just-an-urgent-appointment is really scary, and that’s before you take into account the burdens you carry every single day. Hoping you’re able to be kind to yourself in this maelstrom, and that GO can offer you some comfortable familiarity in waiting rooms, on exam beds, and the like.
It was scary, but nowhere near as scary as what my mind was imagining, so that has been a definite relief. One new tumour, separate from the rest and possibly a different type, inaccessible because it’s attached to my lung, they’re just gonna monitor it for now because it isn’t very big, and then come up with a Plan B if it grows.
So no immediate surgery, which is the main thing. Really couldn’t handle that right now 😣
Good Omens has been, for the most part, a very comfortable and soft place for me to rest, and lots of you have been so kind to me during my silent struggles and forgiving me how long it takes me to write stuff and respond to things. It means a lot, to have found a community here.
(I will try to be kind to myself, too)
Thank you for this really sweet message 💙

So. Remember Dainsleif saying this about ruin guards?
Tumblr media
We now know that Khaenri'ahns could create devices that could host the souls of the dead. I think I know how exactly they "resonated".
We've also seen Dottore making a ruinguardesque thing out of his assistant in the manga.
I think it's possible to make an educated guess about what ruin guards are.

Mean Girls but the Three Tumours are the Mean Girls.
Of course, Shi Wudu as Regina George - both massively bitchy and are obviously in charge of their respective trios.
Ling Wen as Gretchen Weiners - extremely knowledgeable, the intelligence gatherers of the group and so obviously five seconds away from mental breakdowns at any point in time.
Pei Ming as Karen Smith - himbo to bimbo communication. They have no idea what's going on but they get laid and look soooo pretty while doing it :3
