OK HERE'S SOME ADVICE + SUCCESSFUL STORY ??

The moment I started to be more faithful with the law of assumption was when I finally decided to stop using tumblr or reddit everyday. Even when I was scrolling out of boredom, I still absorbed every piece of information I read unconsciously, which is why I kept doubting my power as the creator.

I only stuck to one method: repetition. I affirmed calmly for days, visualized for less than 5 mins whenever I felt like it, plus there were days when I didn't put much effort (I was confident that in the end, I was going to have it no matter how much time I invested, in other words, "I have it right now whether I can see it or not since imagination is true reality." This helped me stop caring about circumstances and remain patient as I enjoyed what I was given).

Then this happened – I slept without expecting much and woke up in my waiting room!!!!! Which is what I aimed for!!!

At first, I struggled with what I should do to manifest after I stopped using tumblr. I didn't know I had become so dependent on other people's methods and advice.

Throughout my journey, I was left with only my own intuition and the information I had collected for months (WHICH I didn't put to good use when I was using tumblr/reddit, I just kept going back and forth). Due to my dependency on relying on different sources, I felt desperate, but I had no one but myself to assure me I was doing the right thing. I kept assuming I was doing everything as it was meant to be everytime I needed it, without having to check someone else's post about my issues.

You can't fail the loa, you can't do the loa wrong, you just can't. Step back, and realize you're the one assuming it as such. You have full control of your conscious mind, so you're the one to blame. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (srry for the tough love bit)

If you ever feel impatient (which was one of my problems), you have to look at the end goal and realize it's yours! You don't have to feel anything, you have to recognise and know that the reality you're living in is the one you've been looking for! This way, you don't have to look at how much time has passed, knowing that you're gonna have it anyway.

TL;DR: trust yourself folks. It may not be necessary, but it is essential to stay sane imo.

And now that I have access to my WR whenever I want, I will eat every food I always wanted to try/repeat and stop worrying about life. 😝

Take what resonates. That's the point of this post. So...by the law of infinity, everything is limitless. Including the idea of shifting and manifesting itself. Everything is subjective to a person. Like for example I always hated being told to ignore my 3d because I don't enjoy my life here and it bothers me. How could I literally ignore that? And people telling me to ignore the 3d but still feel your feelings or whatever crap just didn't mix well with me. So I gave up on it. because it didn't resonate. All it did was make things worse for me mentally. Or people going super deep into manifesting like talking about the ego or sum. That annoyed me too. So I ignored it and those posts. And kinda got off Tumblr a little. Was still on it but for a few minutes everyday. Then I started to remind myself if everything is infinite then shifting itself has no rules. And I could take miles Morales advice and go "nahh...ima do my own thing". Straight up.

Someone tells you some complicated thing about manifesting that you don't get but every one else seems too and loves that post. Do you wanna believe that? do you feel like stressing yourself out over it? Fuck it then. Skipppp. Someone tells you you can't "overconsume" and it will mess with you? Hey everyone happy new year!!!

So here’s the thing: this year I had plans to draw some holidays JLI art but I got super busy going after the holiday stuff IRL and when I finally finished it I got super sick YAY !!!! Here in Brazil is summer rn and every summer it’s super hot then it rains a lot and the temperature drops and that plus my weak ass imune system gave me a super strong cold and your girl wasn’t able to draw anything, also your girl wasn’t able to taste anything at Christmas dinner so you can imagine how fun the holidays were for me lol.

(they sort of didn't do this in the masked empire, but as always they had to throw in a bit about how Rude And Mean the dalish are. plus the ridiculously evil chevalier lore of each one randomly executing a few elves as a rite of passage, and then never mentioning that aspect again bc i guess it wasn't relevant to michel's story. as well as the insanely underwritten premise of what briala and celene's relationship actually was. there's ~toxic lesbians~, and then there's "extremely rich and powerful white noblewoman calls her younger servant class gf ugly for being dark skinned, lies to her for years, has her family and then entire community killed, then tries to seduce her back when she gets angry and leaves" lmao. i think weekes was going for a tragic morally grey starcrossed lovers to enemies vibe, but to me it was more of a horrific one-sided exploitation that the author did not seem to realize they were writing.)

and in veilguard i suppose they tried to avoid the entire issue by mostly removing those aspects of the setting, so you no longer even have the somewhat well-observed depictions of oppression combined with Justin Trudeau Moments, it's just kind of empty.

anyway thank you for appreciating my very long ted talk! i left tumblr after the whole "popular bloggers mass reporting pro-palestine people for terrorism" thing (i can get that treatment for free irl, don't need that extra stress from the Fandom Webbed Site haha). i've just been drifting back to look at dragon age posts bc i was curious about veilguard. i didn't expect much from bioware but it was surprising that they just went even further into tone-deaf bizarre race allegories rather than reading 1 (one) nonfiction book in the years since dai, or hiring anybody from a different background who could weigh in. :')

anyway to answer your question! after surviving a lot of shifttok misinfo and 4 years of doubt i can finally say i have shifted a few times but only to parallel realities for now. i still see it as an achievement though!

the first time it was because i was losing my belief in shifting and i saw a lot of demotivating anti-shifting content but i just intended to shift to a parallel reality and did my own thing and boom guess what IT HAPPENED

it eased my doubts immediately and now i can shift to parallel realities effortlessly and sometimes even unintentionally, happens every 2 days or so.

buuuut that’s not my dr yet! i know i’m getting closer though (as you can see in my other recent post lol) and i’m getting vivid dreams about my dr and shifting and yesterday i also got REALLY close but i got woken up before i could ground myself there.

i would say i’m gonna try tonight (writing this right before bed) but i can’t say try because i KNOW i’m going to

I sincerely apologize to anyone I may have hurt with my earlier, somewhat hasty announcement. I have been struggling a lot in my personal life and creatively. In the last few months, I’ve experienced so much loss and have uncovered a lot of what I now realize was childhood trauma in an abusive household. Being an adult and realizing this is more painful than I can ever explain.

I may sound silly, writing all this to explain what ultimately is a decision I am happy with, but my trauma response is to overexplain because I don’t want to be misconstrued. Plus, this way I feel like we’re talking side-by-side like buddies. 

I understand if this “flip-flopping” has hurt you and I apologize for such a drastic announcement made from what I should have seen was an episode.

The reason I broke down is simply because I’ve had it. I wrote about how I felt useless and unappreciated but nothing I do will ever be to manipulate feelings or a situation. I broke down crying because of the love and work I put in not getting recognized and if you’re an artist in this social-media age of rapid consumption… You understand.

All that being said, I’ll continue producing for AO3 only and leaving Tumblr. The way fanfic is produced and consumed on this site isn’t ideal for me. With AO3, I feel like I can engage with people more and feel like I’m part of a community.

I beg of you, please support your favorite writers. Please. I understand why so many writers on here have left. It's really saddening but it is what it is.
