is this very silly? Yes. Is it a little bit mean? Yes. It is very funny? Also yes.

if twitter burns to the ground I’ll be very upset, for many reasons. Mainly I’ll be upset for me and for many other people (like the large numbers of independent artists and writers) who have been using twitter as a major way to build an audience for their creative work, and thus depending on twitter for financial support and stability, not to mention community... but no matter what happens over there, in the meantime I’m glad to throw money I can spare at tumblr to help keep this place alive, at least.
