#tuesday meow

So I was at work today and I had my Dr. Grant raptor plushie with me (pictured below) because I always take a comfort object to work. So I have it at my station with me, and as I’m talking to a customer, their kid holds up their little doll and says “This is Tuesday Meow!” Best name I’ve ever heard for a character in my life I love it immediately. (I looked it up and apparently that’s the actual name of this doll, so I’ve included a picture below of that one also.)

So I take my own plush and go “I’m Dr. Grant!” And they immediately play along, using their doll to say “Hi, Dr. Grant!” But of course I’ve still got a job to do with their parent, but I put my plush down in front of the kid so they don’t think I’m suddenly disinterested, and they hold Tuesday Meow up to Dr. Grant and stuff and it just made me so happy. Peace and love and whimsy and playing with toys.

She looks a little more surprised than the concept art but i do think shes an improvement over the damaged face from before. Working on the video now!

okay these arent perfect but I'm trying to figure out exactly what kind of eyes/style I want to go for on the doll.

Here's the og doll and one of the designs I didn't like. I was considering trying to make the eyes smaller but I think they have to stay quite big.

I think I like the idea of the Shoujo face the most. It's not really typical to my style but I think it will look good with the shape of the doll.

I also think that sticking to something with thicker lines/lineart for the eyelashes will be much easier on fabric.

I'll probably do some more variants of this one! lmk what yall think

1. Okay they did these tweets for sol and ky and i was like oh thats. Sweet i guess i hope theyre doing this for everybody ill have to wait a while for testament though. Nah they skipped the entire roster and went right to testament thats so funny sorry everyone else

2. They used missing link art for sol and ky and im a little but disappointed because i like missing link testament a lot but yeah okay missing link testament wouldnt fucking say this. Im not confident that xx/ac testament would either but the odds are higher. Fine i understand why they had to do this.
