Wondering if there will ever be a game that will match the original Black & White's (the PC game) aesthetic and gameplay.

I think part of what made it stand out as a god-game was the early 2000's imagery and I wish it would be taken into account in the case of a spiritual sequel. The early 3D tech gave it an uncanny, dreamy atmosphere.

Black & White was/is delightfully eerie and cozy to me since it had this combination of soothing, though a bit unsettling, ambient music (Russel Shaw is the actual god here) and overall weirdness of all this empty air between the player and the small, rough polygons such as the people and the Creature you manipulated around. It did feel god-like in a way.

Lionhead hit a good, strange and niche note with that game, in particular, and it was mostly lost in the sequel.

I think Glatorian/Agori families are almost exclusively found ones due to the hellish environment they live in and the unlikely amount of actual children that are actually born, so their perception of family trees has shapes that our feeble minds cannot fucking fathom.

Coincidentally this makes the absolutely insane matoran-toa-turaga family structure completely comprehensible to them

Lewa: i have five siblings and one parent, who also has five siblings who are each the individual parent of each of my siblings, but we're not cousins, were siblings. Theres also one guy who made us but we don't really know him and he was nasty to me once so hes not in the family. And each of our parents is also the parent of a small country worth of our little siblings, who are all the little siblings of both me and my siblings but also depending on the colors they are more the little siblings of one of us than of the others, except for the little siblings who can change color at will who are just collective little siblings. And also i have some siblings who used to be little siblings but now are just siblings, which are two completely different things, and me and my siblings' parents used to be our little siblings and then our siblings but then they became our parents. Theres a guy who should be their parent-now-sibling but they dont like him so hes not anything
