Luz Noceda - Capabilities (Character Profiles - Witches Duels Tournament) - Part 2

Here's a link to part 1. This is a continuation of Luz's character profile.

Ice Sword - Luz is capable of creating an ice sword for herself in combat using her own ice magic. The sword isn't very durable but it can be useful. Luz also knows how to use a sword as proven in her second episode, but I didn't provide her with her toy sword due to it being hardly her own trademark thing. So she will use her ice sword instead.

Freeze - as demonstrated in Young Blood, Old Souls, Luz is capable of freezing objects easily by covering them in ice. Said objects can also become easily shattered. She can also freeze people like this too.

Ice Spike Prison - as demonstrated in Young Blood, Old Souls against Warden Wrath, Luz is capable of imprisoning people in ice spikes all around them.

Ice Spike Stream - as demonstrated in her fight against Belos in Young Blood, Old Souls, Luz is capable of creating a stream made out of ice spikes coming from the ground which she can use offensively or for intimidation purposes. It's also the first time we see Luz use magic with the staff alone, so we know it's possible for Luz to cast spells like this.

Ice Blast - as demonstrated in her fight against Belos in Young Blood, Old Souls, Luz is capable of creating a giant blast of frost that can instantly freeze anything. It can be used for both offensive and defensive purposes.

Iceberg - as demonstrated in ST, Luz is capable of creating giant icebergs. She used them against Selkidomus. Luz could utilise this ability for both strategic and defensive purposes and possibly even offensive purposes (but that would be overkill though I don't think Luz is above that).

Ice Stream - as demonstrated in the beginning of Escaping Expulsion, Luz is capable of creating a pillar-like stream made out of ice that she can use offensively against her opponents by pushing them back forward with it (it was demonstrated in TtT when Luz thought possessed Hunter).

Ice Spikes - as demonstrated in Escaping Expulsion against Abomaton, Luz is capable of creating ice spikes in specific locations. They can be used as a trap or shield.

Ice Shield - As demonstrated in Escaping Expulsion, Luz is capable of creating a reinforced ice shield that can be used for protection. The shield however is proven to be easy to shatter with enough brute force.

Ice Bullet - as demonstrated in ASIAS by Luz, she's capable of throwing ice projectiles that can be either used offensively or to create chunks of ice at the moment of contact.

Snow Construct - as demonstrated in Oh Titan Where Art Thou, Luz is capable of creating constructs out of pure snow as demonstrated when she create a muscular arm for King's snow francois, showing precision and creativity in her usage of this ability.

Snow Storm - as demonstrated in RO, Luz is capable of creating giant snowstorms that can cover large areas and her opponents in snow.

Icicle Assault - as demonstrated in her rematch against Belos in KT, Luz is capable of creating icicle assault for offensive purposes.

Ice Bridge - as demonstrated in TTT, Luz is capable of creating ice bridges for herself for transport. It seems like an improved version of the ice slide. Luz is capable of creating those bridges above water and even on the surface and expanding them as stairs as demonstrated in the finale when reaching Titan's Heart.

Ice Enchantment - Luz is capable of enchanting objects and weapons with ice magic as demonstrated in Enchanting Grom Fright and Follies at the Coven Day Parade. Enchanted objects will manifest any ice trick upon impact. Luz can also enhance the tools and weapons of her friends.

Majestic Tree - as demonstrated in Enchanting Grom Fright, Luz is capable of creating majestic trees with her plant magic as she demonstrated when she created the iconic Grom tree we all know and love. The trees Luz creates can be used to her advantage as a terrain change or a bomb of brute force. The tree can also stay for a very long time.

Thorn Bolt - as demonstrated in WILW, Luz is capable of using the thorn bolt technique, which creates large thorn vines as a catapult. It can be either used for Luz as a launch attack for her or to launch away her enemies. The thorn bolt is also proven to be quite destructive against its surroundings.

Tree Assault - as demonstrated in Young Blood, Old Souls, Luz is capable of creating thick branches that can be used to assault her opponents.

Vine Trap - as demonstrated in Young Blood, Old Souls, and not only, Luz is capable of manifesting vines from the ground to trap her opponents, as she attempted against Lilith in this episode and later against the petrification statue. This attack can also be used as an offense.

Hanging Vine Trap - slightly weaker but still very effective spell, which allows Luz to trap her opponents and leave them hanging as demonstrated in Young Blood, Old Souls.

Vine Transport - in contrast to Willow's method of transportation with vines, Luz utilises her as winging vines like Spider-Man's shooting webs.

Vine Grab - Luz is capable of using her vines to grab specific objects and bring them to her. Can be used as a great stealing technique. She can also use it to trap opponents and even largest of beasts as demonstrated against Selkidomus.

Vine Attack - as demonstrated numerous times, Luz is capable of using her vines offensively as well by ejecting a stream of vines to assault her opponents. She can utilise different kinds of vines as well.

Vine Shield - as seen in RO, Luz is capable of covering herself in vines, which can be used for defensive purposes. Works well on the fall damage.

Vine Platform - as demonstrated in COTH, Luz is capable of creating a platform made out of flowery vines she can use for transportation or get the high ground and to also change her environment with it.

Jungle Grab - an even stronger version of vine grab in which Luz creates multiple gigantic vines to hold various objects, large objects, or even entire places in one place. It was demonstrated in both KT and FtF

Plant Creature Creation - demonstrated in Eda's body, but Luz could potentially create sentient plant creatures. Granted unlike Willow's plant creature, those creatures can be multiple but are in general very weak so they're used mostly for distraction.

Plant Enchantment - as demonstrated in Enchanting Grom Fright, Luz can potentially enhance objects and make them create plants upon impact as seen with Amity's abomination.

Plant Bomb - as seen in COTH, Luz can potentially create plant-like bombs. She used the to quickly tie up a coven scout guarding the Blight Mansion.

Every once in a while I think about how the love and iconic status the PJ LotR movies receive has so little to do with its value as an adaptation. People love it for the music, the visuals, the love and care put into costumes and props, the enthusiasm and talent of the cast and how they contributed to enrich the production... but you don't really hear people talking about how good the writing or the editing is. About 95% of all modifications, cuts, and additions done to the source material are not good (I'd argue that the writing of Boromir, specially in FotR is good... the addition of some of the Arwen and Aragorn plot... Mmmm... Sam's speech in Osgiliath? yeah, I think that's it); Denethor the cartoon villain? Legolas the OP? Gilmli the gross comic relief baffoon? Daddy issues Faramir? Frodo the fainting damsel? The fakeout death of Aragorn in TTT? All downgrades to the original story. Because the writing of this movies time and time again misses the points of the works it is adapting. It glorifies war. It sacrifices characterization to cliches (we need comic relief idiots, we need a big hero protagonist that is always right and never wrong and nobody is at his level (Aragorn), we need an everyman character and his friends to be all apparently 20somethings because that's the age characters in fantasy are, we need more tension, more, MORE, we need the threat to be constant and infallible and unavoidable...).

The writing of the LotR movie trilogy, on what it has of original, is mostly bad. Everything else is just so so so good.

Luz Noceda and What She Means to Me

Luz is the greatest character of all time of any media ever because she is THE Luz fucking Noceda, I have loved her ever since I saw the first episode, my favorite character and remained that way. She was always underrated by the fandom in her own show. She changed my life.

Her character is unapologetically cringe. She wears a cat hoodie and says “Meow meow.” She says random nonsense and gets big sparkly eyes and she stims by bouncing and running in place. She wears an otter onesie. She snorts book pages. She gives so many hugs.

She is androgynous, and I learned I wanted to have that style too. I saw Reaching Out and thought she looked so cool. I cut my hair and started dressing more androgynous and was so happy with that. It was inspired by Luz.

She ignores every binary. She wears a suit AND a skirt to Grom and it looks horrible but it’s HER. She has a derpy technicolor Palisman that shapeshifts. She is bisexual and she came out with an animated slideshow and a portmanteau couple name like the cringe silly icon she is.

She is so ADHD and she runs around and does the wildest impulsive things and she has volume control issues and she has a self insert Mary Sue based off her favorite fictional character, and now she’s going to battle an evil Christian colonialist in cosplay because she’s that cool.

She rediscovered a whole damn magic system and invented a bunch of spells and built an inter dimensional portal door in her backyard and she played a centuries old emperor like a fiddle and she saved so many people but she can’t even see it she doesn’t KNOW.

Her story means so much to me, her journey of being an outcast and feeling guilty for doing poor in school when she knows she can put her all into “waste of time” things like learning fantasy languages and hobbies like taxidermy. She let me forgive myself for failing college.

I didn’t truly forgive myself until I saw TTT and I cried the whole night realizing I can finally let go of that guilt.Just like Luz must learn. Seeing her find friends and family, and realizing her core wish is to be understood provides me so much comfort.

I’ve never known any character that made me feel so represented. Things that I used to be ashamed of, that Luz does too, I now feel positively about. I am so much softer on myself since I saw Luz make similar mistakes.

And her worst traits, that tendency toward self blame and keeping her guilt inside instead of confiding, made me reflect on my own tendency to do it, and I have worked hard to break this cycle. I see how harmful it is, not only to me, but loved ones, and I am changing.

My self esteem is higher now, I am forgiving of my disability, I feel safe to be a chaotic and silly mess, to be more androgynous, to get super cringey about fandom, and to reach out and confide in others. I have hope of finding people who I connect and feel at home with, like Luz did.

She is the cringiest little silly and also the most badass fucking LEGEND I’ve ever seen on screen. Luz Noceda the perfect icon. I am so grateful she exists. The ultimate character. Luz Noceda.

Twice's 10th member being lifted like Simba in TTT Crime Scene (lol)

A/N: Heyyy, I'm coming up with a lot of stuff for you guys lol! Sry for taking so long to post but end of semester is a whole event for me :D I hope that my friend ArasMar-Sama that gave me this idea on Wattpad likes it! :)

The request: Ooh can I make a request? Where y/n is so tiny that we literally can fit in the box where it was a little larger around 140~ and when time to twice crime scene where the y/n is the killer and there's ending there where twice or one of the members said 'jail time' or whatever and pick up the y/n and walk out from the scene and it was uploaded and the comment laugh at it and they react at it and y/n is embarrassed which kinda cute and twice adore her. oh right when twice lift y/n they lift like the Simba one

The room was full of excitement as TWICE prepared for their latest episode of "TWICE Crime Scene." Cameras were rolling, lights were shining, and the members were in their element, ready to solve a thrilling mystery. Among the cast was Y/N, the youngest and tiniest member of TWICE, measuring in at just around 140cm. She was used to being small, and grown accustomed to the jokes and playful teasing from her fellow sisters, but she took it all in stride. After all, her petite stature had its perks. She could easily hide behind objects during missions and go unnoticed, giving her an advantage in their detective endeavours. As the show began, the members gathered around the crime scene, a dimly lit room with scattered clues and evidence. TWICE's angel's eyes widened with curiosity as she observed the scene, mentally preparing herself to tackle the mystery that lay before her.

The investigation unfolded with the members carefully examining each piece of evidence, sharing theories, and occasionally engaging in playful banter. But little did they know, Y/N had a secret agenda of her own. Unbeknownst to her unnies, she had committed the crime they were trying to solve. She had created an elaborate plan, carefully orchestrating every detail to ensure her innocence would go undetected. She had skillfully framed an unknown culprit, leaving behind a trail of false leads and planted evidence. And now, as TWICE pieced together the puzzle, she silently revelled in her success.

The tension in the room grew palpable as the girls narrowed down their suspect list. Suspicion fell on various individuals, but Y/N remained calm and composed. She skillfully diverted attention away from herself, subtly nudging the investigation in a different direction whenever she sensed danger. Finally, the moment arrived when TWICE members found out the truth, and their attention turned to the maknae. Gasps filled the room as the pieces of the puzzle clicked into place, revealing her as the mastermind behind the crime. Causing all of the members to scream Jail time! feigning seriousness while trying to stifle their laughter. 

But they all failed as the group burst into fits of laughter, their amusement echoing through the room. But instead of recoiling in embarrassment, Y/N couldn't help but giggle with them. The cameraman captured the lighthearted moment, zooming in as Nayeon approached the youngest. With a mischievous smile, she lifted Y/N into the air, mimicking the iconic Simba scene from The Lion King (lmao, I loved this request since I first read it). The room erupted in applause and laughter, the cameraman capturing the joyful scene in all its glory. As the episode concluded, it was uploaded to the TWICE YouTube channel, where fans eagerly awaited their favourite girl group's latest adventure. The comments section quickly filled with laughter and adoration for Y/N's mischievous antics.

Days later, during a live broadcast, the members decided to address the episode's ending and the fans' reactions. TWICE's clever girl, as they started calling her after the episode, blushed furiously as the comments scrolled across the screen, filled with playful teasing and admiration for her tiny stature and quick thinking. As she took note no one would forget this, she shyly mumbled an answer.

Y/N - Nayeon unnie, did you have to lift me like that?

Nayeon, the member who had hoisted her kid triumphantly in the air, grinned mischievously.

Nayeon - Of course! You were the star of the show, honey! We couldn't resist showing off our adorable little mastermind!

The live broadcast continued with TWICE members interacting with their fans, addressing comments, and sharing behind-the-scenes stories from their "TWICE Crime Scene" episode. Y/N, although still slightly embarrassed, couldn't help but feel a warm sense of appreciation and love from both her groupmates and the fans. Especially after Jihyo started speaking with her eyes sparkling with admiration.

Jihyo - Baby, you were absolutely brilliant in the episode! I couldn't believe you managed to outsmart all of us. You're a natural-born detective!

The maknae's cheeks turned an even deeper shade of red as she shyly thanked her "mama" for the kind words. It was moments like these that made her realize how lucky she was to be a part of TWICE, a group of incredibly talented and supportive individuals who embraced her uniqueness. Mina chimed in, her voice filled with fondness. 

Mina - You know, darling, your petite size and quick thinking make you even more adorable. It's like having a little secret weapon on our team.

The rest of the members nodded in agreement, each sharing their own anecdotes and favourite moments from the "TWICE Crime Scene" episode. The live chat exploded with heartwarming comments, filled with praise, adoration, and an overwhelming sense of love for Y/N (they're a fan club already lol). Said girl, although initially embarrassed by the attention, couldn't help but feel a warm glow in her heart. She had always been the youngest and smallest in the group, but at that moment, she realized that her unique qualities were not only accepted but cherished by her fellow members and fans.

As the live broadcast came to an end, Y/N reflected on the whirlwind of emotions she had experienced. From the excitement of the "TWICE Crime Scene" episode to the unexpected turn of events and the overwhelming support from her groupmates and fans, it had been an unforgettable journey. Walking off the set, she found herself surrounded by the sisters, enveloping her in a warm group hug. They whispered words of encouragement and gratitude, reminding her that she was an essential part of the team.

The younger girl smiled, feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude. She knew she had found her place, amongst a group of talented, supportive, and loving individuals who cherished her for exactly who she was. And as she basked in the love and laughter of TWICE, she realized that her petite size was not a limitation but a gift. It had brought her closer to her fellow members, and it had endeared her to the hearts of thousands of fans around the world. The look in her eyes made the girls surrounding her only have one thought:

Turns out the Blooded, or at least two of the cooler models from that set (in my eyes at least), were very easy to remove any signs of heresy on them. It was just some shoulder spikes and then a chaos icon on the back of the marksman. The rest can just be explained away with them being members of an Inquisitor retinue and thus given some freer dress code.

Otherwise a nice and painless paint job, the majority of the steps used taken from Duncan Rhodes Roughnecks painting guide. With some substitution for TTT branded paints. It was fun to paint with mostly gray tones though for a change.

Had as per usual more issues figuring out a good/interesting base until I stumbled upon a good one by Xenus Minis. Which did make me have to make some modelling sand, but the end results were really good.

Now I just need to add some more members, and hope that I'll find a good Inquisitor, or even an Interrogator, model at some point.
