I named her Cleopatra. I'm not even sure she's a stray. I've seen her for a few years walking the rooftops across the back alley. The guy I argued yesterday about the trash cans his wife feeds the outside cats too, I've noticed. And my other neighbor said they feed her too. They call her mama. This girl gets around but she's been increasingly staying in my garden or inside my garage, which I'm more than fine with. I have an affinity for stray cats. When I was little my grandmother told me to save her all my peach seeds for her. She didn't say why. As a kid I simply followed orders. After some time I found out she's grinding up the peach pits for the Cyanide and adding it to tuna fish and set out to poison the neighborhood stray cats. I was fucking livid. Even as a little guy this pissed me off. I never really forgave her for that, she did loads of things to all of us but especially me. I was pops boy. She hated me as an extension of hating him. I was fine with that. Old wicked manipulator. She ruined 3 generations of kids in my opinion. I fought her on many fronts. In the end the brother who had been grandmas boy was nowhere to be found so I'm the one who cared for her as she passed. Same with them all. I did it all. My mom and my grandfather too. I took care of them all even though they had all treated me so bad. That was ok. I had my duty to care for them. I loved them all. Abusive bastards. I still wonder how my brother sleeps at night. But anyway I'm not even sure Cleopatra is a female. I just get feminine energy from her. She hasn't let me touch her yet and I'm not pushing. She don't mind coming to the door howling for food now. Turn in your grave, grandma. I invite all strays to the manor. In your fucking honor. Another reason your ghost is uneasy. You were wrong in life and you are wrong in death. I love you though. That's called trauma isn't it?.
Stockholm grandma.

Horizon Rock Bands AU: Alpha Prime
This is heavily inspired by the animated series Jem and The Holograms (I’m sorry if you know the reference because it means you’re as old as me 😆). There will be posts about other bands. Ereloy implied 🧡.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The band
Alpha Prime is a synth-punk rock band that performs songs about the struggles of social life and humanity's downfall. Aloy and her twin sister Beta started the band to take down Nemesis, the evil group that was winning every contest through dishonest ways before Alpha Prime showed up. Petra, Alva, Zo, and Talanah also had their own personal discordances with Nemesis, so they teamed up with the sisters to bring them down and make the world a little brighter with their music.
Unstoppable on stage, they've been number one since their first appearance at The Proving, the most prestigious battle of the bands in the music scene. There, they met the band Rock Breakers, who are not only their competitors but also great friends and allies against Nemesis.
With their manager Ersa, they’re getting ready for the competition by touring across the country. Their shows are called epic, thanks to their magical computer GAIA, which adds awesome visual effects and illusions to their performances.
Character profiles under the cut
Tumblr media
Aloy
She's the leader of the band and their main songwriter. She plays her guitar ‘Outcast’, and her soft voice mixed with her feral screams make her the perfect backup vocalist. When she and her sister Beta were little, their mother disappeared, which shattered Aloy's trust in others. This caused her to become closed off, and now she struggles with social interactions. She seeks revenge on Tilda, the leader of Nemesis, because she suspects her of being involved in her mother's mysterious disappearance. When the weight of her mother's legacy and her own frustrations become too much to bear, she turns to her best friend Erend, the leader of Rock Breakers. Being by his side makes her feel more at home than anywhere else, sparking emotions she doesn't quite understand—emotions that end up fueling her songwriting.
Tumblr media
Zo
Fans describe the soothing tone of her voice as healing, so it’s no surprise that she uses her ‘Fa’ mic to take on the role of the band’s lead vocalist. Always looking out for the other girls, it’s common to see her setting up meditation sessions before shows. As an environmentalist, she’s determined to take down Nemesis to stop the pollution caused by the companies owned by their members. She’s also (very) openly in a relationship with Varl, a member of Rock Breakers.
Tumblr media
Beta
Even more isolated than her sister after their mother disappeared, she found solace in sci-fi movies and video games, completely avoiding social life. She’s a tech nerd who spends most of her time planning new shows with the computer GAIA. For her, forming Alpha Prime has meant gaining a new, bigger family that’s slowly helping her come out of her shell. Though she keeps a low profile, the deep beats of her bass, ‘Matrix,’ make the crowd feel the tremble and are essential to completing the band’s sound.
Tumblr media
Talanah
Her cultural background made her believe all her life that guitars weren't meant for women—until she picked up "Khalis," the guitar passed down from her father, who was said to be the greatest guitarist under the sun. It felt like she had finally found herself. She made it her mission to become the best guitarist out there, regardless of gender—and she did. Now, she shreds alongside Aloy to take down Jiran, a member of Nemesis and the one responsible for her father's death.
Tumblr media
Alva
CEO, a member of Nemesis, controls the town of Alva from a distance. Both he and his predecessors have erased music from existence there, repressing the creative minds of its inhabitants and keeping them submissive. Alva is determined to recover musical knowledge and bring it back to her people, across the world, along with her beloved Federa. With her keyboard 'Ancestor' in hand and performing alongside Aloy, she feels capable of freeing her people from the torment of living without music.
Tumblr media
Petra
It's no coincidence that the crowd's cheers grow louder whenever Petra shows up. The power of the rhythms from her drums, 'Forge’s Breath,' combined with her strong personality and physique, make her a favorite, especially among women. She's an amazing musical engineer and has crafted all the band's instruments in their players needs. She's not here seeking justice or revenge; she's here to hit hard and push the rhythm of their songs to the max.
Thank you for reading! What do you think they would sound like?
If you want to know more about Rock Breakers check this post ✨🤘

Am I the only one who feels that Hazbin Hotel's overall vibe is far too naive and upbeat for an adult cartoon about hell and redemption of sinners?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I feel like before writing this cartoon, Vivzie and the other writers should have made a trip to unfortunate areas of the world and watch how the lifestyle there rolls. Because hell is said to be a place of misery, where there is no trust and a lot of hate, both internal and external... Adam is an object of pure unfiltered hartred (both from writers and fandom) because he dares to live in heaven, such a safe and friendly-natured place...
And yet the sinners who happen to be main characters act more like school kids on a field trip (even more carefree than those, lol) - their selfish and sinful motives are so artificial and are brought up only when these characters need to look like a victim, not like criminals who somehow deserved a place in hell
Obviously, it's a manipulative trope to put them in a better light than Heaven and Adam (who is forever silenced by the writers and not allowed to voice any thoughts and reflections other than "hurr durr murder I luuuv murdering and being evil because that's what I was since I was born, even though Lilith and Eve, born literally the same way as me, were innocent victims from the get go, and no logical explanation for that will be provided whatsoever - men bad, women good")
In the light of all that, the sinners are too eager to trust each other and form "da epic powar of friendship" mlp-sonic-style
In a society built on terror, anarchy and survival instincts, no one would ever bother wasting vital power on noticing someone's problems and helping them out. Everyone is focused on their own problems and desires, and that's what drives them to act. Well, the exception may be family members, and even that varies
That's why Husk's intent to comfort Angel after the later attacks him over nothing at the bar, looks really fake, considering the setting. At first I thought that "loser baby" where Husk insults Angel, was some sort of revenge and Husk laughing in the spider's face. But no, it actually turned out to be a comforting song that started their friendship. Husk literally had no motivation to want to help Angel, because he was annoyed by him all the time prior. If there was some kind of basis for their bonding, I would have believed it. But not like this.
And Angel had no reason to actually like that sort of comfort. I get it when your best friend or a family member cheers you up in a harsh way - you know them. And even when coming from people you trust that can hurt. Now imagine a complete stranger doing that to you. That's actually something that shouldn't be done - trying to playfully insult or jester a person you haven't communicated with for a long enough time to gain their trust. And to make this even more strange, Angel at first reacts negatively, but then suddenly snaps to liking that disrespectful way of comforting for no reason at all.
And why did Angel even vent his problems to Husk, a stranger bartender who he'd hurt before. Wasn't he actually afraid of being laughed at and of Husk using his trauma to spread gossip around or something?
Next, Sir Pentious. In the pilot (which is officially part of canon, mind you), he already felt like a joke sunday cartoon villain, but at least he had some edge to him that made him look like a sinner with some dark history. In the series however, he gets nerfed the very moment he steps into the hotel to the point where it's painful to look at
His tendency to abuse his henchmen, his physopathic demeanor, his hartred for Cherri (instead of embarrassing attempts to get blue balled by her), his sincere power hunger - where did all that go? Vanished in a blink of an eye. All that's left of a promising snake demon is a pile of fanservice. So morally unchallenging and harmless that a viewer theoretically simply cannot resist loving him
Well i'm kind disappointed. We don't even know in what way Sir Pentious had to improve, because the plot never focused on his past, his life goals, whatever made him want to lead turf wars and whatever awful things he did in life, what was the point where he started degrading... none of that. He just became a better person after one "sorry song" and acted perfectly innocent ever since and didnt put any effort into getting ready to sacrifice himself for other main characters
The sacrifice... to me it's baffling how fast the sinners, over the course of just 6 months, actually became Charlie's family figures and risked their lives for her hotel. Such pure child-cartoon-styled power of friendship, built in hell, with the aid of a princess who cant even think through her project of helping sinners without bringing them more trouble... realistically, Charlie would have had to fight angels alone (how convenient it is that no main characters died in that chaotic brawl, right?)
And Charlie herself is far too naiive and soft-natured for someone who is free to walk along the streets of hell looking at all the muder, rape and othe horrible stuff that's happening there. Given that she's 200, Charlie had more than enough time to built up her street smarts and guts and learn to be more practical and mindful, instead of staying with the mind of a 12 year old who needs other characters to do everything for her (Lucifer, Vaggie, Alastor) and then get praised for THEIR efforts. That's hell's royalty and our main character?
Aaand since sinners are portrayed as Charlie's "people" (as if they are a nationality), sweet babies who all deserve redemption and are called innocent by Emily (I can't believe how dumb the writers made angels be) - the true essence of exterminatons is never focused on. Adam and his exterminator army are seen in the wrong, like some kind of monsters who terrorize poor souls. However, think about this - child molesters, rapists, torturers, bullies, nazists, actual racists etc died in those exterminations. Doesnt that seem like something a lot of us would want? To have scum like this disappear as revenge for people they have hurt/driven to suicide?
Exterminations are not really an act of racism, bigotry or something like that. They are an excecution of criminals, which a lot of sinners are.
But the black and white writing is trying to conceal that rather prominent highlight of the rotten part of Charlie's plan (not all sinners deserve mercy or redemption). All that was needed was to make exterminators these icky "villains" who luuuv killing and are never willing to listen
All in all, a cartoon that has an ambitious premise that should be driven by psychological reasearch/analysis and dark serious themes... makes me roll my eyes with its cliche use of "power of friendship" and " strictly good main characters, strictly bad villains" tropes. Too bad such beautiful animation was wasted on such juvenile writing that never had any effort put into it
There shouldn't even be any villains or heroes in a setting like this. Allow the lead roles (sinners in hell) do something actually questionable and be unlikable, don't coddle the viewer in fear of making them even the slightest bit uncomfortable. Allow those, who opposes sinmers, have personalities and reasons, not cliche sociopathy for sociopathy's sake to cause forced sympathy for the main characters
Pristine "safe" writing should not have a place in adult cartoons. Or else they will stay a product that'd rather be watched by 7-14 year olds instead of adults (I can't picture a single adult over 22 who would unironically call hazbin hotel a show that tackles realistic issues in an observant way)

the heaven & earth grocery store.
dialogue prompts from the heaven & earth grocery store: a novel by james mcbride.
you could talk the horns off the devil's head.
you must be some kind of wizard.
you can't ride in all directions at once.
what does it matter what they think?
what's more important than family?
is that how you see me?
let's take a walk.
are you mocking me?
why is it that people can't speak about illness aloud?
a dish of salt keeps the devil out.
there's men's understanding and there's women's understanding.
anything can happen on this hill.
is that what you told ____?
are you some kind of demon?
what's the matter with you?
what do i know about children?
is that what somebody told you?
i always feel ____ when you're around.
i don't ask questions. i like breathing.
you're not a sparrow. you're a robin.
don't you know who you're dealing with?
whatever you're thinking, i don't want to know it.
has it been that long?
stay close. play dumb.
maybe i should be a cowboy.
you've done enough. it's in god's hands.
i need some new friends.
can't you find somebody else?
what'd you do to get here?
differing weights mean differing measures.
that sounds so stupid, it might be true.
you'd do anything for anyone. that's your problem.
do i look stupid? what happened?
don't talk to the police. ever.
would i lie to you?
you can't right every wrong in the world.
it's what's ahead of you that counts.
no wonder you look so bad.
we do have enough, except when we don't.
this town is run by thieves.
why would you do something so stupid?
if you don't care, why are you so hot and bothered?
i need somebody i can trust.
i didn't tell you why i was here.
it can't wait.
i can't make you understand.
fortunately, time is something we have a great deal of.
i'm here now. everything will be fine.
whatever names you call me can't hurt me.
you're like me. you suffer your sorrows in private.
i'm not going to talk. i'm going to listen.
it must be a terrible burden to pretend like you know everything.
where'd you get such an evil heart?
it wasn't 'them and us'. it was 'we'.
our job is to try to live right.
remember, i tell futures.
you could call ____ that, but who are you fooling?
do i ask you how you run your business?
be good. i know you can.
if you were anybody else, i'd tell you to get lost.

In every fandom, there will always be those that are quick to use the word "misogyny", in this case, some fans calling Toranaga misogynic. Either they have not been really paying attention or do not understand what the word really mean. So allow me to explain.
"Toranaga killed Mariko".
Mariko had always wanted to die since her family was persecuted. Possibly wanting to reunite with her family. And she sure as heck is not going to die for Buntaro or even with him. So Toranaga offered a death that satisfy her, a death for the greater cause which will save thousands, while getting her revenge against Ishido, a trusted vassal of the late Taiko that wiped out her entire family.
She was given a choice which she could refused, but she accepted it. Because she's a Samurai. She accepted her fate and responsibility to save others instead of running away to save herself. (Buntaro look down on Ishido for running away to save himself in Korea). Toranaga never intended to sacrifice her but had to as a last resort when he failed to get the loyalty of the Christian lords.
Crimson Sky cannot take place as he cannot siege Osaka with the enemy behind him (Christian lords from Nagasaki) or he'll be sandwiched between them and Ishido. That's when he resorted to an attack from within, with the help of Mariko. She expose Ishido's true intentions and make a fool out of him by showing everyone that he is no man to hold the women hostage and to even kill a woman.
"Toranaga killed Fuji's family."
Fuji's husband is a Samurai and knows his place, so when spoke out of turn when he shouldn't, the mistake was his. He not only show Ishido that Toranaga could not control his own men but he also show contempt to Ishido who would use it as a pretext to wage war on Toranaga and his supporters, as he's been waiting for an excuse to wipe them all out in a war that will kill thousands.
And to ensure that the child will not grow up to avenge the father's punishment, causing another civil war, the child was ordered to be killed, along with the father. Two lives sacrificed to save thousands, something a Daimyo (Lord) was to supposed to do, protect his people from war, if it can be avoided, which is what Toranaga have been striving for, to end conflicts without a war.
But who is to say, Fuji would not want to avenge the death of her family too? So instead of having her killed, he gave another form of punishment, to be a consort for the barbarian, Anjin-san, for a period of time, after which she is allowed to live but as a nun. Historically, many Samurai were pardoned provided they became a monk, as temples have no political affiliation that would pose a threat.
So it is not something that is exclusive to women, but to men too, which is common in the feudal era, not just Japan, but all over the world. That's why the medieval period is called the "Dark Ages" because things were messed up, that's how feudal system works. The right thing to do may not be the moral thing to do.
"Toranaga is hungry for power."
Well, yes. I mean how else can you end the senseless civil wars that have been going on for years without taking control of the country to unify it? If you do not become Shogun, someone else will. Someone else worse than you. Yes, they're all evil but Toranaga is the lesser of all evil. He does what he can to avoid a war while others like Ishido is constantly looking for excuses to start a war.
The Dictator killed monks, nuns and children. The Taiko invaded Korea, killing many and lost. Toranaga went to war once and he won. That's when he realized the horrors of war and is determined to avoid it. What if it means sacrificing your vassal and his family to save the rest of your followers and the people you're supposed to protect? The Dictator and Taiko took control because of greed.
Toranaga takes control because he wants peace.
The Dictator takes power because of greed, that he sees everyone as a threat that he starts killing innocents and even disrespects his own vassal, Akechi, Mariko's father which cause him to betray the Dictator to stop his madness. The Taiko takes power because of glory, he wants to show others that a peasant like him can achieve greatness to invade Korea and China.
There is a difference between taking power for thrill and glory, and taking power to protect your people from more wars.

In this universe the battle of Kurukshetra never happens. Pandavas along with Arjuni are married to Draupadi, whereas Arjuni is also married to Krishna.
Being a woman, Arjuni was always criticised and underestimated by her own family members, especially her so called cousins known as the Kauravas, even though she was the best student of Dronacharya and the best Archer in the whole Aryavart.
Hastinapur is faced with a war from the enemy kingdom, Magadha. The Kauravas and Pandavas, forced to work together, were discussing in the court of Hastinapur. Arjuni, being the brilliant strategist she is, tries to put forth her ideas but is put down by Duryodhan.
"Just listen to me once—" She tries again.
"Oh just stop it, dear cousin! You are a woman. Go work in the kitchens or something. This is not your cup of tea! We are men and better than you!" Duryodhan, the evil git, spats out. He even convinces his father, the blind fool Dhritarashtra. "Pitashree! Tell Arjuni that she is not allowed to participate in the war! Women are not made for fighting! They are only good with dancing, cooking and the other womenly talents and nothing else!"
"Of course, Putra, of course! You are right! Putri Arjuni, please do understand. You should not participate in this war." Arjuni scoffed in anger. She glanced at her brothers, who just looked the other way. She seethed at rage. How dare they talk this way about them and underestimate them WOMEN!? That enraged her.
Duryodhan smirked at her. As Bheem sensed his sister's anger, he reached his hands towards her, only for his hand to be smacked away.
Tumblr media
"Don't come crawling back to me then, Bhrata Duryodhan!" She said, her voice laced with poisonous venom. Arjuni turned away and stormed out of the Sabha, angrily.
Tumblr media
The Pandavas regretted their decision of staying quiet. They just made their sister angry at ALL the men in the court, except for maybe her husband. As Nakul was about to follow, Draupadi was faster and she rushed behind her beloved wife. Krishna gave a disapproved look at Yudhishthir and followed behind his Sakhi, Yudhishthir sulking under his brother-in-law's gaze.
Both Krishna and Draupadi rushed to Arjuni's room. Arjuni had punched a mirror, whose shards dug into her hand but she didn't care. Her right hand was bleeding profusely.
"Aryaputri!" Draupadi yelled, tensed. Arjuni stopped with her rage and turned around slowly with anger written all over her face. Draupadi rushed forward and started to pull the mirror shards out of Arjuni's right arm and hand. "...i am alright, Drau."
"You are not alright, Parthavi. Both of us can sense it. Please stop hiding your true emotions, when with us atleast. Calm your anger down, priye, because we don't want to an angry Mahakali to destroy Hastinapur, now do we?" Krishna joked to calm his wife down, which seemed to work. Both the 'Krishnaa's laughed heartily as Kanha smiled goofily.
"I sense something is going to happen and you might have to go to the war, Priye Parthavi." Krishna said again. "Mhm...maybe. But i will never forgive them for belittling us women. Do they not understand..."
"Settle down, Aryaputri." Told Draupadi as she tied a cloth coated with medicine around Arjuni's arm for the wounds to heal. "As Govind said, you might have to go to the war. I mean, no one is a better warrior than you in our kingdom, not even Angaraj. Trust us." Agnisutaa soothed her. Savyasachi finally calmed down and gave a smile to the other two people, who blushed at her charming, pleasant smile.
---------------
As the Kuru heirs got ready for the war, Arjuni just stood there as they took their blessings. Nakul and Sahadev as well as some of the Kauravas, who saw her as their second mother and teacher, apologised and took her blessings. Arjuni being Karunamayi, blessed and forgave them as they didn't have any other choice other than to listen to their older brothers.
She watched as her brothers and cousins left for the war on their horses.
Soon in the evening, she recieved the news of all the Kuru princes being held hostage by the Magadha Raj Jarasandha and Vanraj Putra Ekalavya. Arjuni didn't even bother to do anything or show any emotion as she just walked away gracefully, ignoring all the stares and calls for her. Later, when she was alone, Dhritarashtra himself visited her and begged her to help his sons and her brothers. "Putri! Please heed this request of your tatshree! Please save them and assist them!"
Arjuni scoffed. "Oh please, tatshree! Women are not meant on the battlefield, like you said! Right? That will hurt their male ego if i go there! When they are so egoistic, they should help themselves without my help." She said no more and ignored and her uncle.
But Arjuni being her Karunamayi self, couldn't let her brothers and by default her cousins be hurt or killed, so she decided to go and prepare for war for the following day.
"Madhav, what should i do? I can not even let them get hurt as their sister, but they did so many hurtful things to me. I can not even decide..." Vijayaa exasperated. Shyamsundara put his hand on his wife's shoulder. "Don't you worry, Parthavi. I will be your charioteer, and charioteers are meant to show you the right path. I won't take any declination as an answer!" He said, smug. And she was forced to agree.
--------
Gandivdhari left with her deadly bow, with Krishna as her charioteer. Upon reaching, she immediately starts firing thousands of arrows, destroying half of the Magadha forces. As she performed her dance of Destruction on the battlefield, she faced Ekalavya. Arjuni's trauma from Ekalavya's cut off thumb all those years ago came back. Vijayaa and Ekalavya kept firing deadly arrows with dealier accuracy at each other.
As she tensed, she was enveloped with sweet, flute melodies. It was not seeming like Ekalavya could hear them, so why was she....
Then it clicked. Muralimanohar was doing that!
She smiled at her husband, who smiled back.
Savyasachi then did something which no one could think of. She created an expanse of ice mirrors all around her opponent, who looked here and there, alarmed, as Savyasachi's reflection appeared in all of those mirrors, and she looked more and more deadly in each of them.
As Ekalavya stammered with his movements, Arjuni from who knows where appeared behind him. When Ekalavya turned to face her, she had already bind him with powerful paranormal ropes, and he hadn't even noticed. He then faced a powerful punch in his gut, resulting in him coughing out blood and falling unconscious.
-------------
Arjuni arrived where her cousins and brothers were held hostage, and with quick fluid movements, made each and every soldier on gaurd unconscious. She kicked down the jail gate.
"Arjuni?"
"Jyeshtaa!"
"You!—"
"Shut the hell up and follow me without making any sound. Or else we all will be in trouble." Arjuni said emotionlessly as she freed everyone from their binds.
With her help and guidance, Jarasandha was defeated that day and killed. His body was tore open by Bheem and thrown in two opposite directions, resulting in Jarasandha's death.
------------
From that day onwards, no one belittled her or any other woman and always took her help, with almost everything.
The most shocking was Duryodhan's apology and ask for help from her.
"Hey..uh— Arjuni. I came here to apologise from you. I also need a little help—" as Duryodhan looked at his cousin's face, and was met with a gobsmacked expression on her attractive, bewitching face.
Arjuni checked if she was sick or if Duryodhan was ill by checking his forehead's temperature. She then rubbed her eyes and shook her head, not believing the sight infront of her. She then checked if her ears were working properly or not.
All the while Duryodhan looked embarrassed and Krishna and Draupadi were dying from laughing so much. Yajnaseni nearly fell from her place and Keshav have to support his Sakhi while clutching his hurting stomach from laughing so much. Yudhishthir was chuckling and Bheem was laughing merrily. Even the Kauravas laughed at their brother's poor state.
That was one of the most happiest and pleasant sights the castle had ever witnessed.

initial thoughts on DCAS episode 11
Tumblr media
oh my god
Tumblr media
i had already guessed that Alec was lying (much like Jake did), but this was a really nice explanatory touch! Alec and Riya's friendship is, as usual, one of the season highlights for me.
Tumblr media
would've been a lot more interesting if the campers could have chosen their own partners in one way or another, imo, but that would definitely eat up a lot of time in an already packed episode. plus, some pairings (like Connor and Riya) probably couldn't have happened this way, given how Riya wound up reacting to Connor.
Tumblr media
"alright Fiore, here's how we prevent you from going home this week," one could say.
Tumblr media
i was SO worried that Alec was going to have another confessional at some point being like "lol i was testing my acting skills on Fiore too" but he DIDN'T. which means this is CANON. THE ADOPTION IS BACK ON!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
okay, i actually love the decision to pair Hunter and Grett together here. both of them are the "very flawed but kinda mistreated partner of their appearances-obsessed date," so it makes sense that Hunter could give Grett a good perspective on this. also, is it just me, or did they rework Hunter's personality in this episode to be more like S2? i liked it.
Tumblr media
i'm going to put every Fiore and Alec moment in this post and you can't stop me. i am initially thinking about them.
Tumblr media
"joke's on you fucker i didn't teach her literally any of this. she's just built different."
Tumblr media
as much as i enjoy Alec appreciating his daughter's sass, this does seem like a pretty radical heel turn from "i only voted Connor out of this game because it was what was best for him." i guess maybe spending time with Riya and the other villains has caused Alec to fall further off the deep end/forget about Connor's genuinely nice qualities...? or it's inconsistency between different writers, who knows.
Tumblr media
i am 0% a jul(?) shipper, but, damn, the jul shippers were eating well this episode.
Tumblr media
Yul is such an interesting little guy.
Tumblr media
James flexing his character arc, we love to see it.
Tumblr media
WHAT IS IT WITH THE CYAN WOMEN AND SECRETLY BEING JACKED????
Tumblr media
society..... it's becoming more utopian........
Tumblr media
see, this is why i didn't think Tess would be the one to return to the game.
Tumblr media
Aiden is such a hater, i love him. but, overall, i agree with Lake. we're definitely sowing the seeds for a Jake redemption(/winner?) arc and a heroes' reunion.
Tumblr media
Riya, finally finishing what she started in S2 of making the gays fall off cliffs.
Tumblr media
villains are so fun. i love villains.
Tumblr media
THE SOFT DAD SMILE IS BACK :D
Tumblr media
ooh, nice callback.
Tumblr media
this is an objectively funny screenshot. why does Alec yell like that
Tumblr media
what a surprising outcome! (/s /lh)
Tumblr media
:,) <3
Tumblr media
i wish Aiden and James had more of an opportunity to talk during this episode :/ it's fine, though-- i think that James and Lake's characters were used more effectively this way.
Tumblr media
they're getting back together after this trust me guys i'm disventure camp
Tumblr media
YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY
Tumblr media
they truly are family now. i love it.

"not that bad" is a weird way to describe your would-be crush.
Tumblr media
this will be a fun scene! idk which episode "Saturday" will be, though. both because idk how many days will pass in any given episode and also bc i don't recall which day today is in canon.
Tumblr media
i do wonder what evil Gabby is doing here. i guess maybe it'll just be the side of Gabby that wants to run with the villains alliance for power vs the side that wants to follow Ellie's advice? that seems kind of weird. maybe it'll be more like the side that wants to go mad with power on the revenge quest vs Gabby's more rational and strategic side? either way, strange cliffhanger.
can't we just have everyone here... always... all the time...? no? okay :( well, it was still really nice to get the whole gang back together for this episode. i'll look forward to seeing them again in the finale.
and, hey, Connor's back in the game now! and he can't be eliminated next episode, at least. are there going to be three players with immunity...? that could get spicy. we'll see how the heroes and villains smack down when the next real elimination rolls around. back up to ten to nine again... see you next time!

hey there!
I just want to say that I adore your artwork and have been following it for a while, and i am obsessed with your character Serenity. I had a couple questions about her, if you don’t mind answering.
How did she feel about WW2, since she was alive when that war happened? Since she was a doctor, did she volunteer to join as a war physician? i know in the united states women weren’t allowed to go to the front lines, but they were allowed to serve from home as doctors and nurses.
I guess i just am wondering if that war had any affect on Serenity and her personality, maybe as a way of cementing her feelings about humanity and the evil humans are capable of. I mean with the Holocaust in Germany and then the Nuclear Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, that was a dark moment in history.
I also wanted to ask how Serenity feels about herself as a person, especially in the present while she’s in hell. Does reuniting with Alastor make her look back on her life and reflect on the person she has become since his death? Does she have any desire deep down to actually be redeemed?
Last one, i promise-
Does Serenity confide in Constantine at all once they become better friends about her insecurities. Does she trust Constantine?
idk sorry these have been bouncing around in my head for a while. Serenity fascinates me as a character, and after your World’s Greatest Actor animatic I haven’t been able to get her out of my head.
anyway your art is beautiful and i hope you have a wonderful day 💚
HOWDY!!! First of all, I'm so glad to hear that you like my work! And thank you for loving Serenity🌸🌸
And thanks for your questions! It's my pleasure to answer!
As you said,Serenity did not go to war because they did not send women to the front lines at that time. But she tries to help the war veterans, the wounded, or the soldiers who are traumatized after the war, as much as she can in her region.
Even though she could not take part in the war, she helped soldiers who still needed care after the war. After all, war leaves mental wounds as much as it leaves physical wounds.
And the Second World War included evil and inhumane crimes beyond human comprehension.
-
Certainly, as you say, World War II is a very dark page in human history and
Serenity was also affected by it. She saw how evil humanity in general could be.I don't want to go into detail here, but you already know, whether it was experiments, genocide or mass murders, World War II showed what kind of evil humanity is.
And Serenity was someone who had heard a lot of the stories of the soldiers she took cared of.(Some soldiers were choosing doctors to talk to because they really couldn't handle this burden and didn't want to say anything to their families.)
And these stories really disgusted her with humanity to some extent. She knew humanity might be disgusted, but such war crimes? There was no mercy for anyone, not even children.
As one of the rare Doctors in that area at that time, Serenity took care of so many people and heard so many stories, sometimes these stories kept her awake at night.
--
Serenity doesn't think she good person. And she has a lot of regrets for the things she did in the past.
I write the story of Serenity in detail, I will try to include a piece from there, but I will be clear.
At night, Serenity was killing criminals who could not be punished before justice, she was neither providing her own justice, she thought what she was doing was right, until some events showed her this.
What if not all of the people she killed were as pure evil as she thought, maybe they did what they did because they had to, because they had no other choice? What does it make you when you kill people who would stop what they were doing the first chance they got?How many different children felt the pain that she felt when she felt she had lost her father? Because of her?
And Serenity found and killed the hunter who killed Alastor.Seriously, was that guy a bad man? Did he deserve to die? Or had Serenity's anger blinded her? Did she killed an innocent person. Maybe it was an accident? Who knows.
"No, No no I've made the right decision, but am I the monster here? No, no, seriously, there were bastards who deserved to die. If they lived, they would harm many more people. But other than them, the people I killed was it all as bad as I thought? Were there any chances of being rescued with help?"
+And Serenity hated killing people, she was really disturbed by the blood on her hands and she was tired, sometimes she couldn't recognize herself when she looked in the mirror. And she was tired of the wounds she received. She was a someone who hated pain, but every part of her body hurt.
And Serenity lied a lot to keep what she did secret, even to her loved ones.Being strong she suppressed and repressed her personality to continue what she was doing When she finally killed someone and feel nothing, she felt disgusted with herself again.Okay, the people she killed were vile people, but after all, she killed someone, shouldn't she have to feel something?
----The part I talked about------
"Serenity is a light gray character who does not intend evil in her actions or actively do evil just for the fun of it.
She does what needs to be done.
Serenity was confident in what she was doing because the people she killed were members of the crime orgazion and they had killed people and done some really awful things, so she had no regrets about killing them.
She felt like he had to do it, and the thing that affected her the most was when things didn't go as planned on a hunt, and she got into a hand-to-hand fight with the other guy, and Serenty was really about to lose, and at the last minute he stabbed the guy in the lung and ran away until she recovered. It bothered her a lot to watch the man slowly die, but it was nothing yet. While looking for any valuable information on the man, she found a letter with a photo in it. The letter was sent by the man's daughter and the daughter asked when her father was coming home and that she missed him.
and in it they sent him a photo and he replied with half a letter saying that he would come back when he had earned enough money and that he missed them very much.
Serenity felt really awful when she saw this, she researched the man, he was someone who had been involved in a lot of crime, but he had done it to make money, he had taken this path to support his family and he wanted to get out of this path at the first opportunity, and Serenity killed this man. Was she really doing justice, she gave those children the same pain she had experienced, she had taken their father away from them, was she justified in what she did, did she have the right to decide who died and who lived, could she blame them if someone tried to come and kill her for revenge tomorrow?
She set out on this journey to kill monsters, but now she's a monster herself. Were the other people she killed besides this man completely evil, yes, maybe most of them were, but not all of them.
This was one of the events that affected Serenity deeply and she really hated herself and the work she did after this event.
---------- end-----------
But Serenity didn't stop what she was doing, because there were still people she had to destroy, so it didn't matter how disgusting she was anymore. It wasn't about her, there were countless people who would be harmed if she didn't do what she did. And it had already begun, there was no way to turn back. And if there was hell, she had already reserved a place for herself there.
In short, Serenity helped many innocent people in her life, but she also harmed some of them.she is not proud of everything she does, but she tries to live with it.
SHe thinks She totally deserves to be in hell. Yes, she may have done good, but she affected some people's lives badly and she thinks it is good that she is punished for it.
-
As for the meeting between Alastor and Serenity. There are reasons why Alastor doesn't recognize Serenity, other than Serenity's appearance changing.Serenity is someone who has changed a lot since Alastor died. Alastor last saw her when she was 17 years old, and although the person in front of him now has similarities with the person he saw before, they are just as much Different
So, while Serenity was trying to reconnect with Alastor, she realized how much she had changed.
Serenity thinks she doesn't deserve to be Redeemed. She's already used to Hell and she thinks she definitely doesn't deserve Heaven. And there are people in hell that she love, she dont want to leave them. But still want to try if it is possible. She is there not for himself but to watch those around her and maybe help them on their journey. The reason she went to the hotel was to get to know Charlie and help her achieve her goal. Help someone who is trying to do something she couldn't do while she was alive.
---
Hell is a terrible place to trust anyone, and Serenity knows this. The only person Serenity trusts is her clan, but she is the one who raised them.
But over time, Serenity began to trust Constantine.
Constantine is different from the others in hell Serenity knows that Constantine is true to his word and knows that he will not betray her.Because Constantine has no reason to do such a thing.
The two currently have a 7 years-long partnership and a friendship that has been slowly building, and they both respect that.According to Serenity, in his own way, Constantine seriously showed Serenity that he cared about her.
In short, Constantine is now one of the rare people outside of Serenity's clan that she trusts and calls him friend, and she really cares about Constantine and loves spending time with him. And she trusts him because she knows Constantine will not betray her.
---
First of all, thank you for your questions and I hope I answered well! (Sorry for the length) And I'm so happy to hear that you really like Serenity! And the World's greatest actor animation is my favorite too It beautifully summarizes the identity crisis that Serenity is experiencing and her contradiction with herself and her relationship with the people around her.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!❤️❤️❤️ And wish you a good day too!🌸🌸

My thoughts during the final hour of acomaf:
(Bare in mind that I notched up the speed to 1.5 then 1.75, and these thoughts are not in order)
-"You don't need proof that it works, I'm proof that it works-"
Weren't you made by high lords?
-"I will destroy your court."
And I will hate you. More so than I already do
-"He held out his hand like I was some pet."
"Come home."
My thoughts:
"Come home with me."
"Who are you?"
"The man whose gonna marry you, I'm Orpheus."
"Who am I?"
"Eurydice, *laughs* the girl who makes me wanna sing, the women I'm marrying."
-Why dose the evil man sounds like a radio announcer?
-Lucian really setting the bar higher already in how to care for your mate, as expected. (Go little Rock star)
-He broke through the bounds that a high lord couldn't break through just to go to her?!?!
-And he gave her his coat to cover her??
-"There were different kinds of torture I realized, there was ones I went through, what Rhys went through and then this."
Yeah, now you know how Tamlin felt utm.
- Did Nesta just give the evil king the middle finger? Ew, sarah cringe stop it.
-Cassian just keep dying sweetie, don't touch Nesta.
-Nesta be nice to your future brother in law.
- Freye unlocked a new power, somehow.
-Cheesy, this is all so cheesy.
- "his green eyes met mine, the sorrow and tenderness in them was the most hideous thing I've ever seen."
Wow, ok...
-Tamlin acting like Ryhsand though with Tamlin it's justified/understandable
- *me counting down the final 22 minutes while freye is dying*
-"I nerely gagged on his scent."
Freye darling, I get your upset about his deal with evil king. But he literally tried to save your sisters, stop being so dramatic.
- "my family."
It's been 3 months girly.
- "Tamlin ignored Lucian, so I did too."
Sums up Freye and Lucain's friendship
-Of course all the queens' want is eternal youth,
- Lucian naturally being the smartest one in the room.
-Noooo, not Ryhsand pov. 😭 this better not be the last 17 minutes.
-Holy crap, I just realized how similar this ending is to season 2 of lore olympus ending.
-Don't worry, the bat boys plot armor is thick. Sarah loves you monsters too much.
-Mor don't rip out the arrow it will only make it worse.
-Ryhsand please think, do you really think Tamlin would actually partner with evil king? He didn't even trust evil fae women when she first appeared, what makes you think he would actually help him beyond getting freye back?
-"she is my mate, my wife, the high lady of the night court."
BANG, CRASH A LIGHTING BLAST! (no joke there was thunder after he said this in the dramatized version)
I have 2 thoughts on this one:
1. There was a fan theory during the court trial in lore olympus (persephone was on trail for mass murder, long story) where hades and persephone got married before the trail started because at one point he called her his wife. This wasn't the case because she was 20 and he was in his 2000 (aka 40's) Idk if Rachel was a fan of acotar and wanted to steal from it (since acomaf was released in 2016 and the trial was released in 2020) but because people guessed it she dropped it. Idk that's just a my own theory.
2. How can she be the high lady when the mother is the one to give out titles? Do you realize what you just start Ryhsand? This could lead to more war against the more religious courts, this could lead to the end of the night court if the mother finds out... oh wait, this is acotar. Not real high fantasy, there's no real religious world building.
-"I've forgotten how quiet it was here, how small, how empty"
You do this every time freye, anytime your some where "better" you always just stick your noise up at your old home.
-Freye acting high and mighty towards Tamlin as if she wouldn't had praised Ryhsand for doing the same thing.
- Lucian, you are truly the best character.
-"My sister mate, the mother did indeed seem to have a sense of humor."
What do you mean? He would be a great mate. But then again you're suffering because of it...which makes it so much better.
- "as if he could do that to anyone."
But- but he did freye. And tbh I think he would have done worse to you if he deemed it necessary.
-Freye is really giving evil queen vibes. I wish I could enjoy it, but I know sarah is going to make her the "hero"
And that's it, Thank Saints.

On Covid and the next thing coming 🪶🕊️🪽🪞🫀
Tumblr media
I generally don't post about things like this on my blog but I also feel that it's important to name and square up on the monster and the future monsters to come. I am overjoyed that this kind of information is finally coming out about the vaccine. If you have some intuitive awareness, you, like me, probably felt that there was something not right about it. Personally there was no way on earth I was going to inject this vaccine toxin into my body even when people were trying to make unvaccinated people feel ashamed about our decisions, called us "selfish," and accused us of not looking out for vulnerable people. My goodness! We definitely need more Priestess women in the world and it's one thing I'm looking forward to about my online school and high-gated online temple space. People are going to have to remember how to trust those who can 'see' in the dark so that we can teach them how to access their seer qualities too or give them some deeper intelligence that will help them to make a more thoughtful decision. People whose mind have been trained on how to think and process information like in the medical, academic/higher education, social justice, corporate, leadership/managerial, or political system will especially need support, alongside any other people who have worked for long hours and haven’t had the time, resources, space, or ease to open up their minds to different ways of thinking and sensing beyond the programming and conditioning. In other words, those who have lived a lot of their life and lifetimes being busy, in their heads or behind computers, will especially need support.
There are many cases of people who died right after being vaccinated or developed neurological disorders when they were perfectly healthy before. It's fucked up how many well-meaning people were trying to force people like me to get vaccinated against our better judgment on how to care for our bodies and the bodies of our love ones. When this kind of evil happen again, or something similar that may not be related to a vaccine but something else, we do not need to separate and point fingers at each other like children but to come together as divine humans. People have learn to trust those of us who have deeper intuitive gifts, and not merely blindly hand their trust over to the government and do whatever they tell them to do to their body. Because most things on the news have an agenda that doesn't support the health and wellness of any of us. And whatever narrative the government and status quo culture is pushing is usually not healthiest option. Education on how to build up the quality and frequency of the immune system is the Priestess path.
If you want to elevate in your female tissues, whatever the government says begin to question it and in most cases, do the opposite. What I hope people take away from experience is the need to wake up and become more aware of the slick manipulation that is coming down the pipeline in the future. If you are still listening to everything in the news and not listening to your own mystical female body, you will never be sovereign and autonomous enough to find real solutions outside the oppressive inhumane structures we have been taught to perceive are on our side.
Never forget that they are more likely than not NOT advocating for your wellbeing and the wellbeing of your loved ones. *The only exception to this would be an elderly or immune-compromised person in your family who really feels that they need to be vaccinated. Some people need to be vaccinated and that vaccination will be helpful to their wellbeing. Do not fight against what is living in a person‘s mind i.e. reality because it will be what they need to be well/better and more relaxed and calm, although you may feel differently about your own body.
I know we won’t see the totality of the effects of this vaccine for years to come, but what’s also true is that everyone is different and some won’t be adversely effected at all. If you were vaccinated, do not feel shame or guilt. Unchecked or unresolved frequencies of shame or guilt comprises the wellbeing of the body. Instead talk to your body. Ask/decree it to break up and dissolve the vaccine out of your nervous system and tissues. People often say you won't receive if you don't “ask.” I find the opposite is true. Asking can leak away a helluva lot of energy…like people who beg when they pray. I find that when I say NO to nearly everything, and make a clear decree on what I expect to happen, blessings come POURING and LEAKING IN because the universe that within us all finally realizes that I will neither be played with; nor am I playing.
Sweating and opening up the body’s detoxification pathways in other ways can also help. Many people are mentally unwell for many different reasons and their state of mind informs why they ‘see’ and the choices they make. A parasite cleanse will greatly help to open up your mind to trigger more mental clarity and access your God energy, intuitive qualities. Build heaven on earth around you—this is the purpose of true beauty. If you can not build it, begin to imagine it. Attract a lover and/or friend you can experience an amplified heaven on earth energy with. Source money and resources in ways that amplify your heaven. If you can’t, imagine what it would be like to do so. -India Ame'ye, AUthor
ETA: While I didn’t personally need any confirmation, Mama Delores affirmed my words. Consciously speaking to different parts of my body everyday is part of my spiritual practice. My most spoken to parts are my breasts which I imagine is the reason I feel so much love effortlessly around being alive at this time. 🥰🫀❤️

Morally Questionable Anime Milfs Side B Semifinals
Tumblr media
Propaganda:
Ah-Duo -
"It is heavily implied that she switched her baby with her mother in-law's baby (mother in-law being the Empress) to give him a higher chance of survival after a hard and negligent birth that left her without a uterus. Kind of a cuckoo bird trick. Though it was for the good of her child in an era where children were political commodities, this is still a questionable thing to do. I know I would definitely feel some type of devastation and confliction if I found out my baby had been swapped with another right under my nose. Also, the other baby died. That part wasn't Ah-Duo's fault by any means, but I do think I should mention it. As for milf, have you SEEN her? She's so fucking hot c'mon. Even women in-canon swoon over her androgynous charms."
Eva -
"AVOIDING SPOILERS AS FAR AS POSSIBLE, her moral ambiguity is a deeply important part of the story. Like Episode 3 is in some ways a battle between her better and worse nature, between her love for her family and her resentment and bitterness to her brother.
As a mother to George, seemingly she's raised him very well, turning him into a perfect gentleman and preparing him for a successful life. However, this was all part of her scheming against her brother, trying to mold him into a suitable heir for the Ushiromiya fortune and usurp her nieces position. She made sure he spent every waking moment in study, leaving him socially stunted and resentful of his peers who knew how to make friends. In a way she's using him for her own petty resentment against her elder brother, but she's also trying to set him up for a good life in the only way she understands.
With Ange, things get both harsher and more complicated. Yes, after the horrific tragedy of 1986, Eva becomes a cruel and abusive adoptive mother to Ange. But, it's possible that, at first, she made a sacrifice on Ange's behalf that slowly twisted her into the monster she became. And part of episode 8 is showing the possibility of Eva becoming a good foster mother to Ange, and genuinely loving her, (and raising the question of whether that love was really in Eva's heart, or if it's just a comforting fantasy)
I know I'm saying "just trust me" because of spoilers, but this is a big part of the ending of the story and the overall theme: ambiguity, and the difficulty in knowing another's heart, and what we should believe about others given that. Maybe her actions (and her possible or alleged actions) are too evil to call her morally questionable. Maybe there's enough goodness in her to be in the poll. Hopefully I've expressed some of it in less than one million words. I'll leave it in your hands."

Diego and Misogyny
Every time I see a cool manly character, I start testing him for sexism. And it was the same with Diego.
Maybe he thinks women are weaker than men?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A lawyer must be strong. Both man and woman.
Maybe he thinks women are dumber than men?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
No, he believe in Mia even though she is a newbie.
But he calls women cute nicknames!
Tumblr media
No, he calls men that too Nicknames are just markers and they really should lead to an alert and make you look for sexism. But don't get caught in the Association fallacy. If sexism is not found, relax. If you find evidence that a character treats both genders equally, relax. Mia is full-fledged employee who can decide for herself whether Diego's familiarity is acceptable to her. If she feels humiliated because of this, Diego will stop because he likes Mia.
The image of Diego is partially based on the image of gentleman. And often problem with this image is that gentlemen do not believe that women are capable of evil. They perceive women as children, and they shift the responsibility for their actions to the surrounding men. Does Diego do it?
Tumblr media
No. He believes in the subjectivity (agency) of a cute little girl. Even when she is 14.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I guess criminal responsibility comes in this age in Japanifornia. We know that Dahlia is demon. She persuaded her father to get rid of Iris in order not to share the money. She robbed her family. And then she killed her big sister. She is incapable of creating an emotional connection. But Diego and Mia don't know about it. I wish they didn't blame the child just because their intuition, but ok. Diego is very protective. Such men often find it humiliating when a woman defends them. Maybe Diego finds it humiliating that Mia is protecting him?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maybe he finds it humiliating for Phoenix that his teacher is a woman?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh, no-no. He considers him unworthy
Tumblr media
But Diego! You only saw her first trial. (and read all the rest I guess) Maybe he doesn't trust women on the battlefield?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maybe he doesn't think a woman can make decisions about herself?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maybe Diego doesn't like it when a woman takes all the attention to herself?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's funny. Dahlia went to hell without even knowing who killed her. Because she is Mia's enemy. Not Diego's. Diego didn't even say hello to her before the murder. And he even never intervened in their conversation with Mia.
Tumblr media
Makes me wonder how sincere Diego is when he talks about a revenge. Diego said he didn't know what he felt: the desire to protect Maya or the thirst for revenge. But I'm pretty sure the second emotion was not anger, but fear. By the way. There are no phrases in the game that would imply that Diego is ashamed to be a victim of woman.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But he's ashamed of his carelessness. He knows Dahlia is a dangerous killer, but...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
People also accuse him of toxic masculinity. Okay, let's compare. Toxic Masculinity: "Boys Don't Cry" Diego:
Tumblr media
Boys and girls.
Tumblr media
Since when do we call the principle "you can cry, but later" toxic masculinity?
Toxic masculinity often hurts those around you. Maybe Diego started to despise Mia when she started crying?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He has an empathy for crying men too. He's an attorney after all
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Diego considers it his duty to protect Mia. So what? Diego is her senpai. Diego demands from Phoenix to protect Mia not because of he's male, but because he projects survivor's guilt onto him. Not everything in the world is explained by the fact that a man has become a victim of patriarchy. Sometimes people just feel responsible because they are good people.
Tumblr media
Mia felt guilty about her client. I'm sure about Diego too. It's was her case after all. She didn't ask Phoenix to help with White. And she saves him at every trial. If she were a man, would you accuse her of sexism because she doesn't trust Phoenix?
Oh, I almost forgot. If Diego is misogynistic, then Mia is a weak patriarchal woman with no self-respect and a victim, right?
Tumblr media
Let me skip the screenshots where I prove that Mia is cool. Diego tries to be strong and wants to protect his loved ones, not because society demands it from men. And Mia teach Phoenix to smile in the most terrible moments, not because society demands it from women. It's just their personality. Both Diego and Mia do not like to talk about their injuries to other people. It's definitely toxic to them. But is it masculinity? I don’t think so.
And by the way. I don't consider this dialogue problematic in context. Diego just broke down because of a lot of stress. Franziska was the first to be rude.
Tumblr media
Just because he doesn't like Franziska doesn't mean he doesn't like all women. I'm pretty sure that he can't stand kids with whips who criticize strangers for an unimportant things while they are on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
Tumblr media
Let's say thanks to Franziska von Karma for taking the brunt of it! Although in the end Phoenix couldn't avoid it anyway... Game: Franziska will beat Pheonix with a whip Anime: Diego grabs and pushes him. Maybe Diego is biased because he knows her father or associates her with Dahlia. Maybe he draws conclusions about Franziska from her terrible behavior (+reacts painfully to her claims because of his feeling of guilt, which he tries to deny). It doesn't matter, he has the right not to like her.
But I understand, "know your role" sounds like more than just an insult. What is her role? The game doesn't explain what Diego means. You can insert literally anything here: snobbery, prosecutor hierarchy (the replacement prosecutor and the main prosecutor), ageism, sexism, hatred of the Germans. Or he's just careless with specific insults. This phrase contradicts the image of Diego, which we saw the entire previous game and will see after this. It raises questions.
Tumblr media
... Not again... Don't tell me that the word "role" is really only for the sake of a funny reference. It's stupid.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She is cute but who can stand Franziska anyway... P.S.: The game does everything to make Diego look like a good person (he is the third main antagonist, and seriously, Miles and Franziska are shown to be much more ambiguous). But it can't do anything about those who WANTS to hate him. Everyone has their own reason. Ship war, wrong activism, just fun... This is how fanons work in any fandom. People can find something absolutely everywhere. I have seen such wild “errors” in the interpretation of the most understandable canon that I see no reason to excuse "fans", sorry. Bonus Diego is a very funny character. I love all these cool (and ridiculous) metaphors. I love that Diego drinks so much coffee. And I like the fact that Diego quotes phrases about men, but in situations with a women.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maybe this is a language habit due to the existence in the male team.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Or he deliberately saying it with smile to motivate Mia.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So... What's the answer? Sometimes Diego says manly things, but only when they don't fit the context. It's funny and cute because they instantly clash with the real world, turning their meaning upside down.
Tumblr media
Diego and his strange metaphors... I guess Diego has some personal perception of men (not serious, like "a man should drink 10 cups of coffee a day"), but definitely not women. In conclusion, there aren't characters in the game that think about Godot bad. Even Phoenix instantly changed his attitude towards him. Do you know why Diego is my favorite character? Because he is complex and dramatic. But most importantly, because he is a pro-feminist.

ahajsksbywpqp sat guess who has 2 tests in the same week in the same class next week. Not very fun for me. anyway I was think abt Kafka (honestly when am I not is the real question). See if it wasn’t Kafka in ur au and I was r I would definitely turn her in for the money, but I unfortunately think I might like Kafka just like a little bit ig so I don’t think k would be able to do that .
Reread part 3 today is her fingers twitching bc she wants to shoot something or is it just bc Kafka and her fingers. Ok thats not what I meant but also…what I meant was that she works with her fingers a lot I wish she used them on me instrument, guns, etc. we still haven’t gotten an in game Kafka appearance w an actual violin, it probably won’t happen but I’m still holding out. And she’s the highest threat level possible for a criminal but she STILL commits petty theft. She is so I saw someone say that the stellaron hunters were all siblings, Kafka and blade are like the older siblings that have to drive/pay for everything, silver wolf is the gamer (so original) and firefly is the youngest. Wish they had more in game interactions, or like they had synergy, meta wise, since canonically they’re one of the most tight knit groups.
oh also your inbox must be full as fuck so it’s fine if you don’t reply to everything, esp bc you answer a lot of stuff, and even tho someone already said this ur rlly great to talk to ur thoughts are always more coherent than mine. And we all get to simp over hot fictional women together.
ngl I might start playing ptn, like I’ve been seeing screenshots and…wow, I don’t think I have enough storage tho. I think the two types of characters I usually like are tiny mentally ill ones and hot evil women, so…
im so sorry my messages are always so long btw, I keep rambling 😭
-🌠
aaaa study well and good luck for your tests!!! hope you get a good grade and if u dint i will hack i to your prof’s computer and change it for you
im with you entirely, if it was anyone else in that story i wouldve already called the cops LMFAOOO kafka gets privileges because shes hot and my fav unfortunately… for the finger thing, i think its just one of her quirks! in her idle she mimics playing the violin and like you said she has very dexterous hands (even mentions it in a voice line) so i think she’d absentmindedly move them around when her mind is elsewhere. this is the kind of overthinking i was talking about, when i map out a character in my head i think about the most irrelevant stuff that dont matter😭 but imo they add to her charm a little and make her a rounder character, idk. AND YES i love that her crimes go from suicide inducement to petty theft shes so ridiculous hfjfhdhfj that time in her character story where she just walked in a store and took clothes off the rack then left in front of everyone… shes funny as hell😭
i see the SH as family too! silver wolf and firefly are sisters to me, and both of them are def kafka’s little sisters. i think silver wolf is the youngest though, she even gives off sassy youngest child vibes. i wish they could work together too, having them all in one team would be so nice. but it’s also cool that each of them has a speciality, it makes sense for the work they do
my inbox is full i think i have around 70 asks rn…😭 but to be fair a lot of them are veryyy old i just havent gotten around to cleaning up my blog yet, i’ll do it at the same time i change my masterlist and actually make it pretty to look at. i usually try to click on notifs as soon as i see them but like i said, i just forget to type my answers </3
and omg. anon. if your type is mentally ill and hot evil women ptn is literally the game for you. there is an abundance of mentally ill women in there, trust me… like there’s every kind of character you could want in that game— you could give me a specific type and i could find you a character that matches it, you should definitely play. and if you do, do it before the second anniversary ends (starts around mid/late-october) bc trust me you are gonna be upset if you miss shalom :/
dont worry abt ramblingggg i love talking to u and answering every point it’s really nice!!

I need to rant because well this needs to be said:
I’m going to go as far as saying I don’t trust people who like Snape and hate James. Yes, he was arrogant and bullyish towards Snape, but let’s not forget James main target was the blood supremacists, and guess who was one? Snape. His best mate was a neglected boy who didn’t feel like he fit in with his own family and their views. What did he do? He opened his home as a safe space for him. His other best mate was a werewolf, and instead of being afraid of him or degrading him, he became an animugus so he wouldn’t be alone on the worst days of the month. His other friend was a reject and probably wouldn’t have been popular in any other house (including Slytherin), but James took him under his wing and looked out for him. Everyone does stupid shit when they’re young, but they learn from it and MOVE ON. You know who didn’t move on? Snape! He was bitter because the woman he loved chose the man he loathed, then he joined a group that targets/tortures/kills people like the woman he loves, then, trying to be the ultimate kiss arse to his dark lord, tells him about a prophecy of a child who will be his downfall, then begs the dark lord to spare the woman he loves when he find out the prophecy is for her child, not giving a crap about her son or husband, then, when she dies, he’s like, okay I’ll become a professor and bully little children because it’s all in the name of "love", then when the son of the woman he loves has his first lesson with him, what does he do? Bully him, then he bullies a child that had his parents tortured by his stupid friends and that child his so afraid of him that his boggart takes shape of Snape, then he promotes spoilt blood purist narcissist ferret when he bullies the child of the women he loves, then he throws a temper tantrum when a dementors kiss isn’t given to the of the men he thinks is responsible for the death of the women he loves but it was actually all Snape’s fault because he wanted to kiss his dark lords arse and become his favourite by telling him about the bloody prophecy, then he "accidentally" lets it slip that Remus is a werewolf isolating the child of the women he loves from anyone who cares for him, then he continues to bully of the child of the women he loves even though he realizes he’s different, AND then the audacity of the man to rip a photo of a happy family and take part of a letter just so he can get himself off with his right hand in secluded broom cupboard… That photo belonged to Harry and Harry only. How the fuck is that poor cabbage (in @seriouslysam8 word) supposed to touch or look at that picture again knowing what his ex professor/man obsessed with his mom did to that picture. He didn’t come to the good side or join the death eaters again because he cared for Harry. He was looking for redemption, hoping that the guilt he felt for get it the women he loved killed would lessen. Again, for purely selfish reasons. If he cared for Harry, he would have checked in knowing what Petunia was like, Snape was abused as a child, so he should have noticed the signs of an abused child when he saw Harry, he shouldn't have bullied innocent children that lost loved ones because of his and his friends' actions. We saw one memory of James bullying Snape, how many times did Snape and his friends bully the Marauders? How many times did they bully Muggle borns? What did Snape do as a death eater to innocent people before the Potters died? How many people did he torture, hurt, and kill? You can't say none, because he would have had to prove himself to be just as evil as the rest of the DE, and I'm sure there was some type of initiation to become a death eater. The main question is: if it wasn't the Potters and it was the Longbottoms who were targeted instead, would he have confessed to Dumbledore? The answer is no. which is why Snape isn't a good person.
Okay I think I’m done for now, sorry just needed to vent! 😅
#tell me you hate Snape without telling me you hate him
If you ever wanted to accuse me of sending an anon ask to myself, this was the most probable of them all.
100% agree with you, anon.

The Axis of Genocide
The satanic entity, the United States of America, The United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, Netherland. All of them have in common a history of colonisation, slavery, deportation and annihilation of population in America, Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania during the last centuries. They continue in present what they have always done in the past.
Today you are with or against the Genocide in Palestine. There is no nuance, no "I don't know", no "It's too complex" no "I don't care it's far" no "I need to preserve my mental health", "it's not black and white". Yes it is black and white and Yes I don't care about your mental health when children are getting amputated without anesthesia. The statistics of deaths, the number of bombs in such small civilian area, the amount of children butchered, the journalists killed have beaten new records unheard since the 20th century in less than 4 months.
For the first time in Human History, victims have livestreamed 24h/24 their own deaths and suffering for 115 days. And the other side has also livestreamed their absolute cruelty and obscenity from their fake zionist entity and the moral decadence of the West, their shameless and baseless lies. It's a life or death situation and yes I use religious term : it's the Good versus Evil. If you can't see it blatantly, if you close your eyes to what is happening today, please shut your mouth when you want tomorrow be performative about the rights of racial minorities, the rights of women, the rights of children, the rights of persecuted groups. Shut your mouth forever and keep talking about your stupid fandom shipping "war" that no one care included the real author of the fiction. As noticed by @margretescrimsonatelier I'm very happy that the same brainless trolls who keep our name in their dirty mouths for a whole year, are today absolutely silent about a real life genocide, a real oppression. They have nothing to say. They were waste of space from day one, they keep confirm me the absolute vacuity of their existence.
If you accept the genocide in Palestine because "what can we do?" tomorrow it would be you for any false reason. Your country, your land, your history, your minority who would be stolen and slaughtered in front of billions of viewers in complete apathy since we already saw it in 2023 and no one moved. Tomorrow we will gaslight your death as we're gaslighting right now Palestinians massacre today. So be human, resist or die.
Your silence is a consent.

bestie i hate to break it to you but dansby is an alt-right maga freak 😭😭
So I let this sit in my inbox until I was no longer trying to tipsily record a podcast, because I think there's a lesson here in classifying different types of conservative athletes.
Dansby is, as far as I can tell, a God-freak. (Obligatory disclaimer that I am a practicing Catholic and my use of this term is not an indictment on religion.) The God-freak is overrepresented in baseball and in football, because those sports are played outside, so most pros grew up in the Bible Belt, where it's warm enough to practice year-round. Jonah Heim, fun fact, spent the better part of a decade in the minors, because he grew up in Buffalo and only played a handful of varsity games a season.
The God-freak is an evangelical Christian for whom faith is the basis of their personality. Because evangelicalism is tied so deeply to modern conservative politics, they tend to have some right-wing beliefs stemming from this. Many of them did not take the Covid vaccine because they were told it's made from aborted fetuses, and abortion is a grave evil, so they can't put that in their bodies.
You can tell the God-freak in a few ways. The first is that they are genuine in their beliefs, and they will bring these beliefs up in non-political contexts. They share Bible verses on Instagram, give glory to God after good games. The God-freak also usually takes a hard spiritual turn in response to some major life upheaval. For Dansby it was his anxiety disorder. Aaron Nola on the Phillies grew up Catholic and went full evangelical in 2019, when he struggled for the first time as a pitcher. (It's interesting to note that he admits to having OCD in this article and ties some of his compulsions back to a rosary he used to carry.)
This "God saved me from personal strife" narrative is central in differentiating the God-freak from a conservative who happens to be religious, because they believe that, if God saved them, He can save everyone else. They are genuinely motivated by love. Their definition of love just happens to be influenced by right-wing Christianity. This is probably the best example of how the right-wing God-freak isn't totally gone. They approach the world from the base idea that all people are inherently good, and although their attempts to get everyone to recognize that goodness are flawed (think of the pastor who genuinely claims to love a queer person and save them from hell... which in their definition means saving them from the homosexual lifestyle). The God-freak is the most easily redeemed conservative because you can still talk to them on a human level. That's how you get many old Irish church ladies who have started to come around on the gay rights thing because "the [REDACTED FAMILY NAME] kid might fancy girls, but she still goes to church every week, and that's better than my grandson."
As an aside, it's also possible to be a liberal God-freak. Dawn Staley is the perfect example of that: she's very publicly Christian but also chewed out a transphobic reporter. It helps that Dawn is a Black woman who grew up in the most liberal Congressional district in the country, and who plays a sport with such a queer presence.
The God-freak is fundamentally different from the bigot, whose politics are motivated by hate and by power. Britta Curl (God I wish I could stop talking about her) is your textbook bigot. The bigot looks for constant opportunities to shit on the marginalized and blame them for their personal failures. The bigot gives into trans panic because they're insecure, and they're worried that they can't stand on their own merits. Dawn Staley isn't worried about trans women in basketball, because she has the power of God on her side and her team will continue to kick ass. Britta might be ostensibly Catholic (again, unlike the God-freak, the bigot only brings up their faith as a shield), but she doesn't trust that God's glory will stop the Imaginary Scary Trans Hockey Player from taking her job.
When dealing with the bigot, you have got to make them look silly. You have to defang their arguments in real world context. They rely on hypotheticals: the hypothetical Scary Trans Woman who's going to bowl over the cis women at the rink. The hypothetical Scary Black Guy who's going to scare white people from the sport of baseball. The hypothetical dies when confronted by reality: that Lia Thomas is still pretty mediocre at swimming (her words, not mine, I know her personally) and that Black players on the Cardinals helped Anheuser-Busch beer break into new markets (which is why Gussie Busch wanted to trade for Black stars - check out this book).
The third type of conservative is, of course, the grifter. The grifter doesn't believe in any of this shit. They want to make money off the people who do believe it. Most conservative athletes are God-freaks or bigots, but Curt Schilling? Grifter. Old man yells at clouds on Breitbart for attention to avoid declaring bankruptcy. Tommy Pham's comments on being a Black Republican use grifter language - he's pandering to the trans-panic anti-welfare crowd in the replies of a tweet.
Just don't give the grifters any attention. They thrive on it. Ignore. Block. Move on.
I didn't need to write a diatribe on this. I know the Swansons are anti-vax. AFAIK they don't speak publicly about their politics outside of the Facebook post linked above. Even when Twitter likes were public, it all came through a very evangelical lens. Aaron Nola is one of my favorite pitchers, and he's the same way. A lot of God-freaks vote Republican because it's the God party, unlike those pro-abortion Democratic heathens, but they see it as a necessary evil, just like the leftists who plan to grit their teeth and vote for Biden because at least it's not Trump. Most of baseball's conservatives are God-freaks. Hockey's conservatives tend to be bigots. You have to approach them differently and understand where their beliefs are coming from.
And again: don't engage with the grifters at all. You're wasting your breath trying to change someone's insincere beliefs.
I talked in my Britta Curl post about degrees of harm, and how the conservative who keeps their dumbass beliefs to themselves is inherently less harmful than one who preaches to the media about it, and that's a distinction that's important in men's pro sports, which is massively conservative. I respect someone like Aaron Nola - who uses his very closely held beliefs to cope with his OCD, even if he and I definitely disagree on politics - a hell of a lot more than Tony DeAngelo, who likes to hurl slurs around just... for fun, I guess?
