Girls - Broken Dreams Club I really miss Girls. I know Christopher Owens is still putting material out (underrated stuff) but it doesn't quiet have the magic of the three Girls releases. Broken Dreams Club is the EP between the bands two albums. The three all have their own charms but there are few discographies that work well as a complete collection. If you have a couple hours to kill it's very easy to just go from the debut album through to Father Son Holy Ghost in one setting. Girls have a very retro yet timeless feel. Even their name and album titles are all distinctly un-Googleble. (Especially googling "Girls Album"). Even in this post I'm going to have to use my usual hashtag formula and include the hashtag "Girls" even though I'm sure it's not normally used for the band.
