Um this is so stupid but I wanted to write more on my cc darkworld au and somehow instead ended up writing a weirdly worded one-shot??? It's worded that way because it honestly wasn't meant to be a story I was just writing in my usual format but then I got carried away... its also very awkward because i was tired for most of it and idk how to write storys. So yeah. Here is Scorpius and Albus first official meeting and playdate.
----------
Scorpius never liked confrontation. Even in this timeline, where he is conniving and cruel, he avoided doing anything to make his peers angry with him. Now, with mudbloods and traitors, it was different. They didn't count, and he actually took some amount of joy in seeing them all squeamish and angry.
This, however, prompted him to shy away from making "friends". He had a few people he was close with, Polly Chapman and those idiots who follow her around come to mind, but most people just respected him. Admired him. And he was content with that arrangement, he didn't need friends, only followers loyal enough to do what he asks. Even the people he was close to, he would only call acquaintances.
But there was something different about that boy. The one with the bird mask who, although not even seeming to attend Hogwarts, he always sees walking down the hallway to Headmistress Umbridges office, his elegant feather coat dragging behind him. Scorpius didn't even know his name. Just this one thing;
He was worryingly close to The Augurey.
See, Scorpius had a beneficial companionship with his cousin. They looked dashing together, a perfect image of Voldemorts legacy, of what Death Eaters are supposed to be. Just their meer presence in a room together has people grovelling in submission and cowering away.
And ever since he was little, he remembered her having that boy with her. At first he didn't care about it too much, he didn't waste his time thinking about people's mudblood pets. But as time went on, and the boy grew alongside him, and his playdates with Delphi became purely professional, he couldn't help getting curious. He was the most well taken care of pet he'd ever seen, wearing the most beautiful garments and being extremely well kempt. Scorpius had no clue why Lord Voldemort would let Delphis obsession with that thing get so far she'd waste so many Galleons on it.
He had only ever questioned her on the matter of her pet once, and after her answer of "keeping your little head out of things that don't concern you", he backed off completely, left to just wonder.
On the occasion Scorpius did hear her call for the boy, she referred to him as "Munin", but Scorpius was sure that wasn't his true name, just an alias Delphi had given him. She did love nicknames, after all.
Back onto the matter at hand, Scorpius had reached a point where he simply had to atleast talk with the boy, and get more than just nods and shrugs as an answer. But how? Scorpius knew well enough than to not interrupt Delphis pet while he is on his dutys through Hogwarts, but that was the only time he would ever see him. Other than that he stayed up in the Dark Lords manor, or glued to Delphis side.
It seemed, however, his cousin had sent him a blessing. As one particularly hot day in the summer had him answering the door to the boy himself, unmasked and in dark blue and black garments, different than the ones he'd usually wear.
"Erm, hello." Munin had said, but Scorpius didn't respond. He actually spoke! By god, he was almost certain the boy was mute!
After a moment of Scorpius staring at him, mouth slightly open and feeling awkward in his pajama shorts and opened button up stripy green shirt, Munin spoke up again.
"Well then... I was sent here by Delphi- I mean The Augurey- I mean... Uhhr, yes. I was sent here. To come in, I think, and have a nip of tea?" The way he spoke was odd, switching between mumbled and normal, with that slight twinge of an accent he must've picked up from being around Bellatrix and all the other purebloods who pass through the Dark Lords manor.
Scorpius still didn't respond, trying to figure out just what was happening. The boy he hadn't been able to stop thinking about in months suddenly shows up at his door, unmasked (with a face Scorpius didn't expect. Very sallow, rather handsome, with murky green eyes and dark freckles that made him look youthful), and asking to pop in for a cup of tea!.
In his confusion, he hadn't even realised he stuttered out a quiet "Yes... ofcourse-", causing the boy to slide passed him and into Malfoy Manor. Scorpius quickly turns around to follow him as he makes his way to the sitting room, seeming to know exactly where to go despite not being in the Manor since he was 8. (Or well, from what Scorpius knows. There have been many meetings hosted there he was begrudgingly not welcomed to sit in on)
When they finally reach the room, the boy sits down on the chair to the far left, brushes back his hair, and begins twiddling his thumbs.
"Well then?" He broke the silence, finally breaking Scorpius out of his trance.
"Excuse me?" Scorpius replies, rather taken aback from his tone but being too confused to respond properly.
"Tea?"
Scorpius gasps quietly before nodding his head in haste, remembering his manners. "Right- right. Barmy!" Scorpius shouted, clapping his hands together and looking at the entrance of the room. Suddenly, an elf appeared infront of them, wobbling slightly as she holds a tray with cups, a teapot, and a plate of assorted biscuits that altogether make up most of her weight.
"Sorry, Master Scorpius, Barmy didn't hear you enter with guest. Barmy has now brought biscuits and tea, Master Scorpius." She spoke out, her two big ears being the only thing Munin is able to see of her from behind the tray, causing him to let out a short giggle in amusement.
Scorpius, who would've usually reprimanded the bloody elf, simply waved her off after she sits the tray on the table, pinching the bridge of his nose in silent stress. He then makes his way over to the chair on the opposite side of the boy, crossing his legs and reaching out to grab a cup.
Another awkward silence fills the air, the only thing audible being the sound of Munin blowing his tea.
"Well then," Scorpius finally speaks now that he has collected himself, "you said that Delphini sent you here? How come."
Albus didn't answer until after he took an obnoxiously loud gulp of tea, and scrawned down a biscuit alongside it. "I'm not very sure myself. Right now I'm going with the theory that she's throwing me a suprise party. Gives me something to look forward to."
Scorpius spits out some of his tea at that, snorting quietly. He doesn't even apologise for his rudeness, just grabs a napkin and begins dabbing his face and trousers. "i don't believe that's it, I'm afraid. Although the idea of my cousin blowing up rainbow balloons does make for a great image."
Munin smiles at that, and Scorpius is utterly fascinated. It's a purely true smile, no malice or snark in it. He hadn't seen a smile like that since his mother was alive. Not even his own father smiled at him like that, not anymore atleast.
"Yeah, yeah It does. Maybe she'd hire a clown for me, too. Do you think Polly Chapman would be up for the job?"
"You know Chapman?" Scorpius ponders exactly how the boy would, as he's sure she would've told him by now of their meeting. (He wasn't exactly quiet about his fascination with the boy, asking everyone if they knew anything about him.) And apparently he felt some amount of annoyance from her.
The boy shrugs, his smile now turning into the type Scorpius is used to, a matching glint of something in his eye. "Mm, so and so. I've had a few encounters with her and her posse. Not the brightest few."
Scorpius gives a slight nod at that before looking down at his cup, the silence from before slowly creeping back. Scorpius, in fear that if it goes quiet once more they won't be able to salvage this, just speaks the first question on his mind.
"What's your name?"
The boy finallys looks up at him, and Scorpius counts 4 moles scattered around his face, almost making a constellation amongst the lighter freckles.
After a moment of what seems to be hesitation, he responds, "Munin."
Not being the answer Scorpius was looking for, he pushes further. "Not that silly title- Your real name."
It seems the boy doesn't want to answer, going back to twiddling his thumbs and rubbing his hands together. Scorpius is honestly beginning to edge into annoyed, not understanding the reluctance to answer such an easy question.
"Ehrr, well, see... The Augurey doesn't like me using my name. She says it's- Disrespectful."
"A name? Disrespectful? I hardly believe that. Just tell me, it's not like Delphini is here to hear you. I certainly won't snitch."
The pair look at eachother deeply after that, Scorpius subtly raising a brow almost to tell thr boy "go on, then".
He shuts his eyes and takes a deep breath in and out, leaning forward to put his cup down onto the table then nodding.
He sits uo straight and rubs his hands once more before putting them in his lap and speaking.
"It's Albus. Albus Severus."

Thebe Moon works on a Draco/OC story
I've started a story titled "Augurey Park," about an American witch who arrives in Britain to work at the Ministry of Magic and stumbles into an intense affair with a pretty weird wizard.
EXCERPT
“Draco Malfoy,” I repeated thoughtfully. The name was familiar. “Hey, you were a Dark Beater.”
“Death Eater,” he said, looking pained. “Former Death Eater.”
I scolded myself for not researching Wizarding Britain before showing up there. I’d had every intention of doing so, but my last weeks in San Diego had been so hectic with the cage cleaners’ strike and the Erumpents’ new calves and the arrival of a cauldron of Mortis bats that terrorized half the zoo …
“So what do you do now?” I asked him. “Do you work?”
He looked appalled. “Malfoys don’t work.”
“So what do you do, Draco?”
The wizard raised an eyebrow at my use of his first name, but he allowed it. “Traditionally, we peddle our influence and wealth for power,” he said. “This, of course, is no longer an option.”
“So you just sit around alone in weird pubs.”
“You disapprove,” Draco said.
“No, no, that’s fine if you like it,” I said. “At least you’re not building a criminal empire.”
He smirked. “How do you know I’m not?”
“You wouldn’t be sitting here talking to me,” I said. “I don’t have the connections.”
“True,” he admitted.
“I mean, I just got here.”
He rolled his eyes. “Yes, I understand that.”

Women of the House of Black Fest
Seeing how @womenofthehouseofblack has put together a very cool festival that happens to have fed my plot bunnies to the point of frenzy, and since shameless self-promoting of fics has been advocated for... here's a list of fics I wrote, in no particular order, about women of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black.
As always, please heed the tags and the warnings.

Happy Friday, Ellory! Hope you have been having an excellent time 🤩 My living room is mostly back together, which is making me a lot less stressed. Ficlet Friday request: Miss Hermione Granger/Lady Luna Lovegood
Happy Friday, Mealla! I have been, thank you. That's wonderful! Congratulations on the progress you've made! ✨
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Good afternoon, Hermione!" Lady Luna Lovegood said as she set her bag down on the library table before claiming the empty seat at the Head Girl's side.
"Good afternoon, Luna," Miss Hermione Granger replied, a fond warmth in her chest at knowing she was allowed such intimate familiarity with the pretty little Ravenclaw.
"I promise I won't talk and distract you from your revising, Hermione," Luna said as she removed parchment and books and ink and an augurey quill from her bag.
Hermione smiled to herself, knowing that was only half-true because, while Luna wouldn't talk, her mere presence was a distraction, especially when she--
Right on cue, Luna smiled sweetly and tucked one of her tiny feet between Hermione's beneath the table, as she always did, and Hermione's heart skipped a beat, as it always did.
@hprecfest Day 4
Prompt: A comfort fic
i won't just survive (no you will see me thrive) by EclipseWing In which James Potter isn't as dead as everyone thought and Harry has a strong mistrust of all adults. Reconnecting with his son isn't going to be easy, not just because Harry's in Slytherin.
I've lost count of the number of times I've reread this fic. The relationships are done SO well, and all the canon divergence is very true to character.
Five Facts You Won't Find in "Hogwarts, a History" by mayerwien 2. Once, over the course of two memorable weeks, an escaped Chizpurfle wreaked havoc inside the castle. “A what?” Ron whispered, when it was announced at dinner. “A Chizpurfle,” Hermione hissed back. “Newt Scamander wrote about them in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. They’re small crab-like parasites that feed off larger creatures like Augureys and Crups, but they’re also attracted to leftover potions and objects with high magical concentrations.” “My mam told me about them,” Seamus Finnigan said darkly. “She said once when I was little, we had a Chizpurfle infestation in our house. Turns out they were after her wand and some of the rare spellbooks she kept in the attic.” “They eat wands?” Harry asked, horrified. “Yeah. Mam told the neighbors it was rats. Had to live with my uncle Angus for three weeks, while the Ministry pest control cleaned ‘em all out.”
A fun cute fic which I love to come back to.
Playscript creation
Our task was to choose a playscript, and without changing the dialogue, place the action in different times and situation. We decided to read the playscript of "Harry Potter and the cursed child" by John Tiffany and Jack Thorne and place it in the scenatio close to "How I became a gangster". We chose these, because the last part of Harry Potter is a very nice lecture and it was a lot of fun working on it, and the film not only suits the atmosphere we were aiming for, but also gives perfect background for the story. After the creation of the changed playscript, I am very pleased with what we came up with.
This is the final version of the playscript (with explanations):
Harry Potter – The Cursed Child
Act 3, Scene 16
The place & scenography:
Pruszków, living room of an old classy villa. The walls are in light colour that will perfectly work with plan light so it looks rich and like work done by true architect. Wooden floor is placed in dimond pattern which is considered to be luxurious. There is a magnificent chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Which is not visible in the graphics. It looks like it is made from true dimond. In the middle there is a table with a big pile of files on it. Next to it there is a comfortable but stylish sofa and 2 cupboards against the walls. There is a big window behind the sofa but it is fully covered with a heavy curtain. The curtain is there so that people from the outside cannot see the inside. Decorations are ones typical for luxurious villas, there can be a famous painting on the wall.
The context & background:
In the 90’s there was one main gang in Pruszków. Their inner sign of belonging was wearing a green cloth in the upper pocket of a jacket. The other side – considered the evil one is the police and gangsters who betray their gang. Those gangsters are considered a danger and have a special sign tattooed on their necks – small black wings. All the gangsters use very specific and unknown by the rest of population language – their own slang.
The time:
1995, April, night – around 2300
The characters:
Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy – played by Jack Dylan Grazer – 15 years old member of the gang with Albus, assigned to the task that went wrong, now trying to destroy the evidence. Always cautious about the situation, logically thinking.
Albus Severus Potter – played by Cole Mitchell Sprouse - 15 years old member of the gang with Scorpius, assigned to the task that went wrong, now trying to destroy the evidence. Confident, impulsive, unable to see the “bad side” of some people.
Delphini “Diggory” Riddle – “The Augurey” – played by Lily Rose Depp – 23 years old member of the the gang, a traitor working for the police pretending to take part in the task with Albus and Scorpius. Clever, mysterious, coldblooded, undetected staying under the cover.
The costumes:
Scorpius – black suit with grey waist suit. Green pocket square located in right upper pocket of the jacket. With shirt with grey or green tie. Everything is custom tailored to show social status. Golden watch as symbol of money. Black shoes. Short blond hair.
Albus – black suit with grey waist suit. Green pocket square located in right upper pocket of the jacket. With shirt with grey or green tie. Everything is custom tailored to show social status. Golden watch as symbol of money. Black shoes. Short brown hair.
Delphi – black jacket with grey or black trousers. Green pocket square located in right upper pocket of the jacket. White shirt or top. Everything is custom tailored to show social status. Black high heels. Golden and green jewellery that includes necklaces but also may include earrings. Long curly blond hair that covers the neck most of the time. Wings tattoo on the neck.
The props & vocabulary:
Time turner – a pile of documents proving the illegal real estate trade
The Augurey – “crown witness” (often represented as a creature with black wings)
Confringo – to tear something up
Expulso – a shredder
Bombarda – a gun
Stupefy – to fire something up/fire
Wizard – a gangster
Spell – the method
Witchcraft – methods used by gangsters
Second task – the task from the past
Dementor – policeman capturing gangsters
Voldemort – sheriff
Dark magic – capturing gangsters by the police
Death Eater – policemen
Care of magical creatures – senior gangsters explaining the basic rules to the new ones
Hogwarts – neighbourhood
Fulgari – “got you”
Owlery – the meeting room/space
“Send an owl” – send a message
Muggles – common people
The text & action:
Scorpius and Albus enter the living room with piles of documents in their hands. The night is quiet but some shouts can be heard from a distance.
Scorpius
So, I think a simple Confringo.
Scorpius states confidentially.
Albus
Definitely not.
He angrily slams the documents on the table. Beat.
For something like this you need Expulso.
Scorpius
Expulso?
Now Scorpius slams his part of documents on the table.
Expulso and we’ll be clearing bits of Time-Turner from this owlery for days.
Albus
Bombarda?
Albus says it uncovering a gun in his pants for a moment.
Scorpius
And wake up everyone in Hogwarts?
Beat. He quiets down and continues in a much calmer voice.
Maybe Stupefy. They were originally destroyed using Stupefy…
Albus
Exactly, it’s been done before – let’s do something new, something fun.
In rage he “crazy” smiles at the last words.
Scorpius
Fun?
Scorpius becomes more and more irritated by the simple-mindedness of his colleague.
Look, many wizards overlook the importance of choosing the right spell but this really matters. I think it’s a much-underestimated part of modern witchcraft.
Delphi enters the room without anyone noticing.
Delphi
With a friendly contempt, giggling.
‘A much-underestimated part of modern witchcraft’ – you two are the greatest, you know that?
Scorpius looks up surprised to see Delphi has emerged behind him.
Scorpius
Wow. You’re… um… what are you doing here?
Albus
With irony in his voice:
It felt important to send an owl – let her know what we’re doing – you know?
Scorpius looks at his friends accusingly.
This concerns her too.
Scorpius thinks, and then nods, accepting this.
Delphi
What concerns me? What’s this about?
Albus points at the documents on the table.
Albus
We need to destroy the Time-Turner. The things Scorpius saw after the second task… I’m so sorry. We can’t risk going back again. We can’t save your cousin.
Delphi looks at the pile of files and then at them both.
Delphi
Complains irritated:
Your owl said so little…
Albus
Imagine the worst possible world, and then double it. People being tortured – dementors everywhere – a despotic Voldemort – my dad dead, me never born, the worlds surrounded by Dark Magic. We just – we can’t allow that to happen.
Delphi hesitates. Then her face breaks.
Delphi
Voldemort ruled? He was alive?
Scorpius
He ruled everything. It was terrible.
Delphi
Because of what we did?
Scorpius
Humiliating Cedric turned him into a very angry young man and then he became a Death Eater and – and – it all went wrong. Really wrong.
Delphi looks at Scorpius’s face carefully. Her face sinks.
Delphi
A Death Eater?
Scorpius
And a murderer. He killed Professor Longbottom.
Delphi
Impatiently:
Then – of course – we need to destroy it.
Albus
Surprised:
You understand?
Delphi
I’ll go further than that – I’ll say Cedric would have understood. We’ll destroy it together, and then we’ll go to my uncle. Explain the situation.
Albus
Thank you.
Delphi smiles at them sadly, and then takes the documents from the table. She looks at them and her expression changes slightly
Oh, nice mark.
Delphi
What?
Delphi’s suit has loosened. A crown witness tattoo is visible on the back of her neck.
Albus
Curiously:
On your back. I hadn’t noticed it before. The wings. It that what the Muggles call a tattoo?
Delphi
Oh. Yes. Well, it’s an Augurey.
Scorpius
An Augurey?
Delphi
Haven’t you met them in Care of Magical Creatures? They’re sinister looking black birds that cry when rain’s coming Wizards used to believe that the Augurey’s cry foretold death. When I was growing up, my guardian kept one in a cage.
Scorpius
Your… guardian?
Delphi looks at Scorpius. Now that she has the Documents she’s enjoying the game.
Delphi
With visible disregard and arrogance:
She used to say it was crying because it could see I was going to come to a sticky end. She didn’t like me much. Euphemia Rowle… she only took me in for the gold.
Albus
Why would you want a tattoo of her bird, then?
Delphi
It reminds me that my future is mine to make.
Albus
Albus in a sudden childish interest:
Cool. I might get an Augurey tattoo.
Beat.
Scorpius
The Rowles were pretty extreme Death Eaters.
A thousand thoughts inside Scorpius’s head. Albus coming to his mind and getting annoyed with the hold up.
Albus
Come on, let’s get destroying… Confringo? Stupefy? Bombarda? Which would you use?
Scorpius
Give it back. Give us the Time-Turner.
Delphi
With annoyance and superiority:
What?
Albus
Yelling at Scorpius:
Scorpius? What are you doing?
Scorpius
Remaining calm:
I don’t believe you ever were ill. Why didn’t you come to Hogwarts? Why are you here now?
Delphi
I’m trying to bring my cousin back!
Scorpius
Realizing what the situation is. A bit worried, strongly accenting every “you”:
They called you the Augurey. In – the other world – they called you the Augurey.
A slow smile grows on Delphi’s face.
Delphi
The Augurey? I rather like that.
Albus
Confused:
Delphi?
She is too quick. Taking out her weapon, she repels Scorpius. The papers fall down on the ground next to her as they get into a fight. And she is far stronger – Scorpius tries to keep her back, but she quickly overpowers him. She shoots him at the right bark. Scorpius roars from pain.
Delphi
Shouts mockingly:
Fulgari!
Scorpius
Concerned, despite the pain hastens his friend:
Albus. Run.
Albus looks around, bewildered. Starts to run. Delphi shoots again aiming at the same spot. Albus fall to the floor nearby his colleague. More grunting can be heard.
Delphi
Arrogantly, with satisfaction:
Fulgari!
And that is the first spell I’ve had to use on you. I thought I’d have to use plenty more. But you’re far easier to control than Amos – children, particularly male children, are so naturally pliant, aren’t they? Now, let’s sort this mess out once and for all…
Albus
Fighting the pain, asks desperately:
But why? But what? But who are you?
Delphi
In rage and madness shouts:
Albus. I am the new past.
She takes his gun and throws it out the window breaking it.
I am the new future.
She does the same with Scorpius’s’ gun.
I am the answer this world has been looking for.
She picks up the documents and leaves the villa.
The TEAM description:
Tension – Tension in the scene is builds as the tension between the characters builds up. It is build under the influence of the mysterious atmosphere surrounding the scene as the audience does not clearly know what is the problem and how important are the documents held by the characters. The tension reaches its climax as Delphi turns out to be a traitor.
Emotion – For the characters it is at first relief as they are in possession of the important documents and are able to destroy them. Then, they feel slightly happy that Delphi showed up. With Delphi’s arrival the tension builds up gradually, creating a feeling of suspense and mystery. Then, when the tension reaches its climax the scene is overwhelmed with the feeling of disbelief, anger and shock.
Atmosphere – Because of the lack of clear introduction the atmosphere is constantly mysterious. At first the mysteriousness is accompanied by a slightly relaxed atmosphere which is quickly substituted by nervous an chaotic energy.
Meaning – The scene is an altered impression of the creation of a crown witness position. Rise of this law left a huge impact on the mentality of Polish gangs as well as safety of potential witnesses and citizens. The scene is supposed to give a transformed insight into the creation of the position, leaving a sense of familiarity (as many people watched “Jak zostałem gangsterem”).
The text & action:
Scorpius and Albus enter the living room with piles of documents in their hands. The night is quiet but some shouts can be heard from a distance.
Scorpius
So, I think a simple Confringo.
Scorpius states confidentially.
Albus
Definitely not.
He angrily slams the documents on the table. Beat.
For something like this you need Expulso.
Scorpius
Expulso?
Now Scorpius slams his part of documents on the table.
Expulso and we’ll be clearing bits of Time-Turner from this owlery for days.
Albus
Bombarda?
Albus says it uncovering a gun in his pants for a moment.
Scorpius
And wake up everyone in Hogwarts?
Beat. He quiets down and continues in a much calmer voice.
Maybe Stupefy. They were originally destroyed using Stupefy…
Albus
Exactly, it’s been done before – let’s do something new, something fun.
In rage he “crazy” smiles at the last words.
Scorpius
Fun?
Scorpius becomes more and more irritated by the simple-mindedness of his colleague.
Look, many wizards overlook the importance of choosing the right spell but this really matters. I think it’s a much-underestimated part of modern witchcraft.
Delphi enters the room without anyone noticing.
Delphi
With a friendly contempt, giggling.
‘A much-underestimated part of modern witchcraft’ – you two are the greatest, you know that?
Scorpius looks up surprised to see Delphi has emerged behind him.
Scorpius
Wow. You’re… um… what are you doing here?
Albus
With irony in his voice:
It felt important to send an owl – let her know what we’re doing – you know?
Scorpius looks at his friends accusingly.
This concerns her too.
Scorpius thinks, and then nods, accepting this.
Delphi
What concerns me? What’s this about?
Albus points at the documents on the table.
Albus
We need to destroy the Time-Turner. The things Scorpius saw after the second task… I’m so sorry. We can’t risk going back again. We can’t save your cousin.
Delphi looks at the pile of files and then at them both.
Delphi
Complains irritated:
Your owl said so little…
Albus
Imagine the worst possible world, and then double it. People being tortured – dementors everywhere – a despotic Voldemort – my dad dead, me never born, the worlds surrounded by Dark Magic. We just – we can’t allow that to happen.
Delphi hesitates. Then her face breaks.
Delphi
Voldemort ruled? He was alive?
Scorpius
He ruled everything. It was terrible.
Delphi
Because of what we did?
Scorpius
Humiliating Cedric turned him into a very angry young man and then he became a Death Eater and – and – it all went wrong. Really wrong.
Delphi looks at Scorpius’s face carefully. Her face sinks.
Delphi
A Death Eater?
Scorpius
And a murderer. He killed Professor Longbottom.
Delphi
Impatiently:
Then – of course – we need to destroy it.
Albus
Surprised:
You understand?
Delphi
I’ll go further than that – I’ll say Cedric would have understood. We’ll destroy it together, and then we’ll go to my uncle. Explain the situation.
Albus
Thank you.
Delphi smiles at them sadly, and then takes the documents from the table. She looks at them and her expression changes slightly
Oh, nice mark.
Delphi
What?
Delphi’s suit has loosened. A crown witness tattoo is visible on the back of her neck.
Albus
Curiously:
On your back. I hadn’t noticed it before. The wings. It that what the Muggles call a tattoo?
Delphi
Oh. Yes. Well, it’s an Augurey.
Scorpius
An Augurey?
Delphi
Haven’t you met them in Care of Magical Creatures? They’re sinister looking black birds that cry when rain’s coming Wizards used to believe that the Augurey’s cry foretold death. When I was growing up, my guardian kept one in a cage.
Scorpius
Your… guardian?
Delphi looks at Scorpius. Now that she has the Documents she’s enjoying the game.
Delphi
With visible disregard and arrogance:
She used to say it was crying because it could see I was going to come to a sticky end. She didn’t like me much. Euphemia Rowle… she only took me in for the gold.
Albus
Why would you want a tattoo of her bird, then?
Delphi
It reminds me that my future is mine to make.
Albus
Albus in a sudden childish interest:
Cool. I might get an Augurey tattoo.
Beat.
Scorpius
The Rowles were pretty extreme Death Eaters.
A thousand thoughts inside Scorpius’s head. Albus coming to his mind and getting annoyed with the hold up.
Albus
Come on, let’s get destroying… Confringo? Stupefy? Bombarda? Which would you use?
Scorpius
Give it back. Give us the Time-Turner.
Delphi
With annoyance and superiority:
What?
Albus
Yelling at Scorpius:
Scorpius? What are you doing?
Scorpius
Remaining calm:
I don’t believe you ever were ill. Why didn’t you come to Hogwarts? Why are you here now?
Delphi
I’m trying to bring my cousin back!
Scorpius
Realizing what the situation is. A bit worried, strongly accenting every “you”:
They called you the Augurey. In – the other world – they called you the Augurey.
A slow smile grows on Delphi’s face.
Delphi
The Augurey? I rather like that.
Albus
Confused:
Delphi?
She is too quick. Taking out her weapon, she repels Scorpius. The papers fall down on the ground next to her as they get into a fight. And she is far stronger – Scorpius tries to keep her back, but she quickly overpowers him. She shoots him at the right bark. Scorpius roars from pain.
Delphi
Shouts mockingly:
Fulgari!
Scorpius
Concerned, despite the pain hastens his friend:
Albus. Run.
Albus looks around, bewildered. Starts to run. Delphi shoots again aiming at the same spot. Albus fall to the floor nearby his colleague. More grunting can be heard.
Delphi
Arrogantly, with satisfaction:
Fulgari!
And that is the first spell I’ve had to use on you. I thought I’d have to use plenty more. But you’re far easier to control than Amos – children, particularly male children, are so naturally pliant, aren’t they? Now, let’s sort this mess out once and for all…
Albus
Fighting the pain, asks desperately:
But why? But what? But who are you?
Delphi
In rage and madness shouts:
Albus. I am the new past.
She takes his gun and throws it out the window breaking it.
I am the new future.
She does the same with Scorpius’s’ gun.
I am the answer this world has been looking for.
She picks up the documents and leaves the villa.
The TEAM description:
Tension – Tension in the scene is builds as the tension between the characters builds up. It is build under the influence of the mysterious atmosphere surrounding the scene as the audience does not clearly know what is the problem and how important are the documents held by the characters. The tension reaches its climax as Delphi turns out to be a traitor.
Emotion – For the characters it is at first relief as they are in possession of the important documents and are able to destroy them. Then, they feel slightly happy that Delphi showed up. With Delphi’s arrival the tension builds up gradually, creating a feeling of suspense and mystery. Then, when the tension reaches its climax the scene is overwhelmed with the feeling of disbelief, anger and shock.
Atmosphere – Because of the lack of clear introduction the atmosphere is constantly mysterious. At first the mysteriousness is accompanied by a slightly relaxed atmosphere which is quickly substituted by nervous an chaotic energy.
Meaning – The scene is an altered impression of the creation of a crown witness position. Rise of this law left a huge impact on the mentality of Polish gangs as well as safety of potential witnesses and citizens. The scene is supposed to give a transformed insight into the creation of the position, leaving a sense of familiarity (as many people watched “Jak zostałem gangsterem”).
Gellert was surprised to see Fawkes appear in his window. For the briefest moment, fear gripped him at seeing Albus' familiar at Nurmengard. Had something happened..... He calmed only slightly when he noticed the Phoenix was carrying a letter. Albus had been not written to him in many years so it was surprising to say the least. He opened the window for the bird, reaching out to give him a gentle scratch along his neck. The Phoenix didn't pull away or nip him so Gellert gently took the letter from him. "Thank you Fawkes." He had missed the bird around Nurmengard, although he had only ever been here when Credence had lived here. But the Phoenix would always remind him of Albus. "There are some snacks and water if you would like some." He waved him inside and over to where Bas was perched in the corner. The Augurey looked up at their surprise visitor, giving a soft caw in greeting. They knew each other well enough, from the earlier years of the war when he and Albus would once write to one another more often. But those days had come and gone. Gellert barely made it through half the letter before he scrunched it in a rage. His cruelties? What of them, compared to the vile actions the Ministries undertook year after year against their own kind? Was Albus truly this determined to side with them, knowing what they really were? He shouldn't have been surprised, Albus had been causing him nothing but grief for years these days. Always trying to ruin his plans, help the Ministries capture him. He'd managed to take down many of the smaller Ministries but it had all taken much longer because of Albus' constant interference. His followers were calling for Albus' head but he had always denied them. He'd offered empty platitudes, that they were better than that and Albus and his own followers were simply misguided, but one day they would understand. But this letter proved otherwise.
I no longer recognise the brilliant boy I met in the Hollow. How painfully true those words felt right now, about Albus himself. How could Albus have sat there and written this vile drivel and now have the audacity to challenge him to a duel? Had they not fought enough? Godrics Hollow? Bhutan? Clearly Albus wanted to fight again and how could he possibly refuse him? To do so would have him appear a coward. He was many things but he wasn't that. To accept was unthinkable, for he didn't wish to raise his wand against his husband and yet, what choice did he have? He and Albus were going to duel and who knew which would come out victorious. He knew it had to be him, otherwise he would be executed to thrown into a dark cell and tortured for the rest of his days. If he won, he could bring Albus here and even if Albus wanted nothing to do with him, he would be safe and looked after for even now, he couldn't bring it upon himself to wish ill upon Albus. He unscrunched the letter and read it again. November 2nd. Berlin. At least it wasn't Paris. ***************** Gellert arrived by the portkey Albus had created just before the sun had started to rise. He had dressed well, knowing that he might well die in the location Albus had chosen for them. He had always been hoping Albus wouldn't have shown up but there he was, dressed as though he were simply teaching classes at Hogwarts. They hadn't seen one another in the flesh for years, although he had seen images of Albus in the newspapers where he had been treated as the last saving grace for Wizarding Kind. "Hello Albus." Gellert knew he sounded cold, for this was a worst case scenario for him. He had been wanting to avoid this, for he knew that one of them would most likely end up dead. He didn't want to be responsible for Albus' death but he also didn't feel like dying today either.
The dawn of November 1, 1945.
With the chaos of a recently graduated Tom Riddle sent out into the world, and the ministry breathing that much more down Albus Dumbledore's neck for the last few weeks after he'd been forced on "administrative leave" by the ministry while he was in their custody for the last several weeks, beaten and tortured until he gave into their demands to duel Gellert Grindelwald once more. He knew his husband's actions had grown more horrific over the years that even he could not ignore, and between that, the torture...
He had accepted.
The ministry was unaware of his possession of the resurrection stone, given to him by Flamel in case things turn for the worst in that duel. He's made enough potion to live out the next fifty years with himself and his wife- Should Albus not come home from this. Days before, he had sent out a letter. Part of him hoped it did not make it to him, or he would simply ignore his ridiculous quest for a final duel, to see who would finally come out on top. Or, in the ministries eyes.. If good would triumph over evil.
For the greater good.
Days later, he had anxiously arrived at that location, dressed in his usual attire. His wand was grasped tightly in his hand, other shoved in his pocket, wrapped tightly around the stone in his pocket. He had used illusion charms to hide what a wreck he really looked like, after what the ministry had put him through for the last several weeks. In his weakened state he might've still been quite the formidable opponent- But the ministries underestimated Grindelwald when it came to Dumbledore. He truly didn't know who would triumph this time. He hoped so desperately that the letter had not made it, or he would refuse.
But when was luck ever on Albus Dumbledore's side? @magicblooms
‘revenge’ sex
fifty reasons to have sex | accepting
It wasn’t revenge per say. But she knew Poe hated Ben Solo, for so many reasons she couldn’t even begin to list, and those were only the ones she knew. And Poe had managed to get under her skin and piss her off, and so here she was, striding up to Ben Solo, a little alcohol giving her more confidence than she could ever have had otherwise, grabbing the front of his shirt to pull him down to her height for a kiss.
ISFP 4w5--song? :D I'm loving this.
The band Stars, which I have seen live more than once, which is rare for me, is a very 4w5 band in general. I think The Night Starts Here, while not my favorite song, is a good ISFP song.
non sexual acts of intimacy meme | not accepting
“Ben, I need you to lie still for a moment,” Leia said, struggling to keep her squirming son in bed. Despite the obvious fever, Ben seemed to think he needed to be just about anywhere else. “Come on sweetie, I need to check your temperature.”
Ben, of course, had protested going to bed in the middle of the day. But when he had wandered into the kitchen with glassy eyes and flushed cheeks, Leia had known immediately that something was wrong. Thank the stars it was her day off, or he’d have been left with only Han to care for him. And Han was, well...Han.
Not that Leia didn’t trust him. She just...didn’t trust him with this. Specifically.
It was the jacket, but it was also Delphi and she just seemed too comfortable to offer her another one. It suited her, though the shoulders and sleeves were obviously too big. She didn’t seem to mind.
Finn smiled.
“I thought you were heading out-- or am I the last stop in the farewell tour?”
❝ If you run from me, I will pursue. ❞
threat starters / accepting!
A sharp remark weighed heavy on her tongue. Of course she wouldn’t run. She’d worked for Murkoff long enough to know those who ran were always caught and after that death would be a mercy. Despite not holding any permanent employment for now, Jennifer would still play her part for Murkoff. She’d hand in her weekly reports outlining her whereabouts, she’d check in with her assigned Mitigation Officer. She’d act as though she were a prisoner rather than someone on the company’s payroll.
“You don’t have to worry about that,” she finally said, reading through the last few lines of her report. After another last minute edit, she hit send on the email. Kylo should be receiving it at any moment. “There. The report’s sent—and as you can see, I’m here. Not flying the coop. Are we good?”
