when they try to set up a scene between archer and t'pol, it always has this unnecessary level of forced (and pretty one-sided too...) sexual tension and honestly makes me feel uncomfortable for t'pol

BUT

when they try to set up a scene between t'pol and trip it always feels so... down to earth and kinda comfortable? they ride on the same horse, but there's nothing charged about the way she holds on to him. or they have a neuropressure session and - mind you - they both have very little clothes on and this could be made into EXTREMLY charged situation, yet trip is going on about warp engines and you can see he's just enjoying talking to t'pol, even as he massages her feet. and what's more, even when they move into YET EVEN MORE INTIMATE POSITION there's nothing in their body language that points directly into the gutter, just two people used to sharing space and touch

AND THAT FEELS SO NICE
