It feels like I haven’t written anything in forever (over two weeks 🥺) so here’s a little warmup.

“All right. Let’s make up,” Trip says brightly.

T’Pol frowns slightly as she looks up at him. “I thought we had already resolved our disagreement. Are you still upset with me?”

She genuinely seems puzzled, so he takes her hand and gives it a gentle squeeze. “No, I’m not upset with you anymore.”

He looks up at the ceiling with a wry twist of his lips as he considers how to proceed. “In fact, now that we have resolved our disagreement I’m feeling very well disposed toward you, and I would like the opportunity to demonstrate that. Physically.” His smile is full of mischief.

T’Pol pulls her hand away and glares at him, “You’re mocking me.”

Trip knows he shouldn’t poke the sehlat, but damn, she’s cute when she’s pissed. He tilts his head with a slow grin, “Gently teasing you,” he concedes. “…but I’m also trying to be more clear, you know, like we talked about.”

T’Pol sighs and looks at him like she’s not quite sure what to do with him, which he thinks is probably fair. “In the interest of clarity, when you say physically, do you mean something like this?” she asks as she gently caresses his cheek with two fingers.

His eyes close involuntarily and he reaches up to hold her hand against his face, “That’s nice.”

“Or like this?” she leans in and presses her lips to his in a slow, lingering kiss.

His eyes flutter open to see her looking like she’s ready to devour him. She can beat him at his own game everyday of the week and twice on Sunday if she’ll keep looking at him like that.

T’Pol leans back and looks thoughtful. “Or perhaps you meant sexually?” she asks slowly with a little flick of one brow.

He’s a little mesmerized by the way her lips form the word sexually, and it seems his eloquence has abandoned him. “Uh, yeah, that.”

“Hmm.”

She waits for him to drag his attention from her lips back up to her eyes.

“Then I would also welcome that opportunity.”
