is tumblr society ready to acknowledge that orientation is a fundamentally shallow and self-limiting understanding of sexuality lol
tldr its just another framework for shoving infinitely complex concepts and experiences into a trinary for ease of communication, backed up by biases and more of the same bogus pop-biology used to justify da sex binary.
ur just wired homosexual or heterosexual or bisexual. uhuh surrrrre. sure. because even though this faulty logic is unjustifiable irt sex, its totally still applicable to sexuality!!!! yeah right
#methinks no#if 16 year old me heard me say this he'd pop a bloog vessel. sorry little guy. not sorry actually#kvetches

Character Spotlight: T’Pol
By Ames
We’re continuing through our Enterprise character spotlights with a much more likeable character than last time: the ship’s resident Vulcan, T’Pol! And though she starts out mostly as eye candy for the 10-year-old boys watching (kinda like Seven of Nine), the sub commander really grows into something more than just a cat-suited female (also kinda like Seven of Nine!). Over the four seasons of the show, Jolene Blalock really nails the “Vulcan nuance,” as we’ve dubbed it, and becomes a character greater than the sum of her voluptuous parts.
She may spend most of the series making suggestions that go unheeded, bearing the brunt of Archer’s xenophobia against Vulcans, and being exploited for the sake of the viewers to ogle her in the decon room or performing Vulcan neuropressure, but the hosts of A Star to Steer Her By really grew to appreciate T’Pol’s presence. The Vulcan Science Directorate has determined you should read on below and listen to this week’s podcast episode (tractor beam to 59:08) for more on our logical first officer!

Best moments
I’m the sanest one here! After T’Pol warns everyone not to go down to the planet until they’ve scanned it (amateurs!) in “Strange New World,” everyone on the away mission inevitably goes crazy on pollen. But she keeps her wits about her and manages to not get shot by a batshit hallucinating Trip. Instead, she concocts a clever plan with Hoshi to survive the storm and save everyone.
Tractor beam > grapplers While Archer is racial profiling the Vulcan crew of the Ti’Mur all over the place in “Breaking the Ice” and assuming they’re there to spy on the Enterprise, T’Pol is busy keeping rational and logical, as is her wont. She eventually convinces Archer to swallow his pride and ask them for help when they need the use of Vulcan tractor beams over their miniscule grapplers, which suuuuck.
You have the power to control the waves We really don’t get enough scenes between Hoshi and T’Pol, but when we do, they’re always lovely together. When Hoshi is stressing out while on the Klingon ship in “Sleeping Dogs,” our Vulcan friend doesn’t hesitate to share some meditation techniques with her. And in “Vox Sola,” we see more of T’Pol’s awkward way of showing affection for the ship’s cunning linguist.
My mind is my mind, my thoughts are my thoughts There’s a lot of negative things we can say about “Fusion” (and we will in just a moment, so don’t despair), but none of those things can be laid at the feet of T’Pol, who’s the only person acting on her behalf for most of the episode. I shouldn’t have to say it is good for women to stand up for themselves because “no means no,” but this is the world we live in.
The Science Vulcan Directorate has determined that time travel is not fair T’Pol’s in a rough spot again in “Shockwave” when the Suliban have taken over the ship in Archer’s absence. They interrogate the poor woman for a while, and she holds her own somehow, and clings to her logic that time travel should absolutely be impossible. And after torture, she’s able to jump into the crew’s plans to re-commandeer the ship!
As usual, Vulcans are immune to the anomaly of the week In typical Vulcan fashion, T’Pol does not suffer the obsessiveness that plagues all the other crew members when they study a trinary black hole system in “Singularity.” So it’s up to her to rescue the rest of the characters from themselves (or from Phlox, in the case of Mayweather) by knocking everyone except Archer out cold and saving the day!
An AIDS allegory a few decades too late While a lot of “Stigma” doesn’t hold up today because its AIDS allegory feels like too little too late, everything T’Pol stands for in this episode rings true. Even while every man on the show is telling her what’s best for her, she firmly states that anyone with Pa’nar syndrome should be treated as justly as she is as someone who was forced into a nonconsensual mindmeld.
We can stop the film if it’s disturbing your conversation I do find it annoying every time Archer forces T’Pol to do things outside her comfort zone just because she’s Vulcan, but this little moment is cute. It might just be because of how damn obnoxious we find Phlox sometimes, but watching her tell that Denobulan sycophant to shut up during a movie in “Horizon” was all of us in that moment. Phlox, Shut Up.
Every day is exactly the same Even though it’s kind of an alternate timeline, the T’Pol that we see in “Twilight” does some very commendable stuff. Sure, there’s taking command of the ship when Archer is incapacitated, but there’s also resigning that commission to take the most thankless job there is: taking care of memory-less Archer for years on end and explaining life to him over and over.
There’s a human expression: You gotta give ‘em that hawk tuah We get another alternate T’Pol in “E²” and she’s just as compelling as “Twilight” T’Pol. The older, wiser T’Pol is astute enough to see the flaws in her son Lorian’s crazy plan and provide her younger self a better, just as crazy plan. Add that to the literal self-reflection she shares about getting over her trellium addiction and learning to love Trip and it’s all great stuff!
Blood is thicker than plomeek soup This is one of those complicated episodes, so you’re going to see “Home” on both lists, but let’s start with the good. We’ve got to respect T’Pol a bit for sucking it up and marrying Koss even though they’d called the engagement off (not to mention that she has a thing for Trip). But it was to save her mother’s reputation and get her reinstated at the Academy, so that’s nice of her.
Her name is Elizabeth We don’t get a lot of T’Pol with baby Elizabeth in “Demons” and “Terra Prime” but what we do get is heartbreaking. We’ve really got to give credit to Blalock and Trinneer for some beautiful acting when a doomed Human-Vulcan infant is thrown in the mix, especially in their final scene of “Terra Prime,” which is utterly devastating.
—
Worst moments
You were only there for three days and you couldn’t restrain yourself While Vulcans throughout Enterprise are typically bitchy and blunt, it seems a bit illogical how T’Pol jumps to the conclusion that Trip must have acted ungentlemanly during the course of “Unexpected,” resulting in his getting pregnant. This before he’s been able to tell a word of his own story. That’s just rude, T’Pol. Get all the facts first, then make your judgement.
Don’t blame the victim We’re not victim blaming T’Pol for what happened to her in “Fusion.” No, we’re blaming the writers, who did a bad bad thing in this episode that we largely loathed. For some reason in Trek, the writers treat it like a requirement for the sexy lady character to get mind-assaulted, and to treat it as sexually as possible, and we’ve been fed up with that since Troi and Seven.
Oo-mox always makes the list! I will always put oo-mox on the bad list, because too often it feels like sexual degradation. Lwaxana does it. Crusher does it. Jadzia does it. And in this parade of women performing mild sexually-implicit acts on Ferengi, we see T’Pol perform oo-mox on Krem in “Acquisition.” It’s just disgusting how the writers keep falling back on making this gross joke over and over.
The spy who neck-pinched me We learn in “The Seventh” that T’Pol was an operative for the Ministry of Security, which is idiotic enough on its own. She also sides with Archer on what to do with Menos, which is never a good idea, after the resurfacing of some wiped memories of all the messed up shit she did. Worst of all, the writers forget about her spy training and foist it off on Reed being in Section Thirty-fucking-one, but we’ll cover that later!
Pon farr also always makes the list Almost as much as I dislike oo-mox, I dislike pon farr. We already covered this in “Blood Fever”! It’s yet another device to sneak sexiness into episodes, but it is in no way consensual. Blame pon farr all you want, but for all of “Bounty,” we’re subjugated to watching T’Pol run around in her underwear trying to rape Phlox just to titillate the teenaged boys, and that’s disgusting.
I don’t believe it, now my pants are chafing me Like our last Enterprise spotlight, most of the bad moments are coming from season 3. This is when we’re subjected to countless instances of T’Pol engaging in Vulcan neuropressure with Trip, which is NOT her job. Relenting to Phlox and doing this was bad enough, but did she really have to trick Trip into it in “The Xindi”? And why did she HAVE to be topless for it?
Green-blooded with envy We promised you last time lots more moments from “Harbinger,” so here we go. Vulcans wouldn’t typically find it illogical to be jealous of other people, but that doesn’t stop T’Pol from getting all jealous when Trip starts hanging out with Amanda Cole. It makes her look like a petty, whiny teenager all episode long. Green is apparently not a good color on you, T’Pol.
I just don’t like being compared to a lab rat Oh look, more examples from “Harbinger.” The Tri’Pol shippers get their moment when the two of them hook up, and who can blame them? But having T’Pol pull the rug out from under Trip the morning after is just cruel and tactless. She claims (if you can believe her) that she was just curious what intercourse with a human was like, as if she were just checking it off a list. Next!
I’m sorry, Captain, I can’t obey that order Another episode that ranks among some of the worst of Enterprise is “Hatchery.” Everyone except Archer is perfectly content to let the Insectoid babies die, and T’Pol disobeys when captain orders the crew to help save them. She doesn’t even know the captain is compromised yet! She just doesn’t think he’s committing enough war crimes, evidently, and mutinies about it!
Big green monkey, everyone’s a junkie Again, no victim blaming here; addiction is a serious condition, and kudos to T’Pol for eventually getting help from Phlox. But. The writers fail T’Pol’s logical character in making her a trellium-D junkie, as is revealed in “Damage.” You want to explore an addiction plot? Fine, then make it make sense for her character. Have her seek to build her immunity. Have it be to relieve pain from turning zombie in “Impulse.” Chasing the dragon doesn’t work for a Vulcan.
You brought me sixteen light years just to watch you get married to someone you barely know A second ago, we were giving T’Pol credit for marrying Koss to help her mother unsully her reputation (which was neither of their faults to begin with, mind you) in “Home,” but it’s also just plain sad to watch her have to acquiesce to being blackmailed into a marriage she does not wish to be in. And to have to treat Trip like he’s dog meat is also painful to watch! Tri’Pol shippers, unite!
You’re wondering if I’ve been having any daydreams about you? Speaking of the Tri’Pollers, they get a smorgasbord of Trip-T’Pol material in “Bound,” most of it juvenile as hell. Ever since they got together in “Harbinger,” T’Pol has been dancing around this “do you like me” bullshit like a teenager (or worse, like Shakaar in “Crossfire”) and it gets so frustrating. Why can’t the Vulcan just be upfront about this stuff? Why is she in high school?
—
It is only logical to end the blogpost here. Make sure you’re following along as we keep the Tri’Pol ship chugging along next week, when our spotlight swings to everyone’s favorite Floridian! Also keep watching along with our watchalong of Discovery over on the SoundCloud or wherever you podcast, do some Vulcan neuropressure with us over on Facebook, and remember to wear a hat whenever gallivanting around in the past!

there is no need to create a trinary in its place: the point is that the trinary is already being created in my country and i think acknowledging it so we can address it is less harmful than simply pretending it doesn't exist. i am not creating the trinary it is already being done despite me. and this affects me not the same but in a way that can compared to the effects of the institutional binary: take my legal gender marker as an example. so by this logic because it deeply affects me i can too resort to a concept such as the trinary
I don't mean to sound... mean I guess? You had said in your previous ask that cis people who do recognize that there are more than two genders only recognize nonbinary. If this trinary is a group of legitimized genders in society, why are there cis people who might possibly not recognize more than male and female? The point of the trinary was to replicate the binary, as a system of legitimized genders. That should mean they are all seen as equally valid.
#bbb.ask#anon#atrinary#gender trinary#your bigender big brother#The problem with having such a lack of a support system is that I feel so helpless in this#and wish I could just tag someone for some help with the wording here.#Because other people also recognize the harm of a gender trinary but are so much better with words than I am.#This kind of thing makes me SO anxious.

So like trinary logic sucks because the needed voltage differential is such that it promotes cross arcing at miniaturization, but what if instead of electrical wires one were to use fiber optic wiring?
Could one then use like, the color frequency to represent 3 states, and then convert that to charge values on the chip instead of differing voltage?
God I wish I had taken electrical engineering back in school.

As I have said before and will say again, autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergencies have always been around. Literally, the fairy tales of centuries ago that describe a child as "fey" in how they don't speak, they just stare, they get obsessed over some things, they dislike certain other things, they "don't behave like a child should behave"...that's written proof, couched in the piss-poor understanding of way back when, that neurodivergencies have always existed.
The biggest difference is that now we have vocabulary that describes things better. We have learned enough about these situations to be able to better define which set of experiences or symptoms go into which categories--and yes, they do overlap! They're supposed to overlap because the world is a complex place, not a simple yes-or-no-only-and-never-both place. (You only get that level of simplicity in binary circuitry, folks...and even then, computer engineers are working on developing trinary circuitry that can handle the "fuzzy" logic of "yes" and "no" AND "maybe" because it'll expand computing power significantly.)
My mother has OCD, and I didn't get to learn about that until my late 30s. And it was only in the last couple of years that I realized her pedantry--always correcting "imprecise" speech--is another piece of the neurodivergent puzzle. Thankfully, she doesn't have ADHD (I wouldn't wish that on her generation, long before it became a thing with effective medication finally available), but while she is mostly neurotypical...she's not fully. And realizing that about my mother has made it easier for me to deal with her.
...That makes it sound like she's horrible to deal with, when she's not. She's quite easy to interact with & handle. But still, it does help explain certain Habits & Quirks. And it is so much easier to relax about something that could get annoying if you know why it's being done. "Mother likes precision in speech & placement of objects because she has OCD. (She's not being a jerk about stuff, because it's just a quirk of her brain.)"
A little while ago I read a post about an autistic person who had initially been misdiagnosed as bipolar. Of course, at this point I no longer remember WHO posted it, for which I apologize, but it went into detail about symptoms that overlap and how the initial mistake was made. There was also mention of autism being misdiagnosed as OCD. I read that, reflected on it, and then, suddenly,
BOOM!
Oh. my god. Backstory; both my son and I have been diagnosed as adhd, and that clearly comes from my father, who was born in 1938. However, Son and I have also looked at adult autism diagnosis criteria and, while neither of us wants to take the time to get a formal diagnosis . . it definitely seems that we both have that as well. For example, my score on a checklist was, iirc, 140 out of a possible 165. With 80+ being considered highly probable for autism. And, if true . . where did that come from?
Well. Sometime in the 1960s my mother was diagnosed as OCD based on the diagnostic criteria of the time (which are different now, of course). Not that she received any treatment other than "just Don't Do That, Then!" But, still, it was something she knew, or thought she knew, about herself.
Let's look at her, for a moment.
Could not stand for wind to touch her. Very choosy about the type of fabrics she would wear. One single hair touching her 'wrong' ie one of my shed hairs getting on her, put her into a State. Could get so invested in new hobbies that she could barely stand to put them down. Rabid reader. Extreme interest in math and physics. Kept, as much as possible, that same hairstyle and clothing styles life-long. She wasn't harshly critical of other people, she just "Had Standards." Everything had to be a certain way Or Else. Certain sounds made her frantic (such as someone normally whistling a tune).
Looking at all of that (and more) from a current perspective, it looks very much like the current understanding of autism. She passed away in 2002. This is all just my own reflections, but . . it certainly blew me away when I made the connection. And it's a cogent argument for the "why are there so many more autistic kids now" question. They were always here. But nobody knew. Just odd, weird, eccentric, she's-just-like-that.

Roman and Logan don't have the best start. But under the right circumstances, sparks start to fly.
Part of my Dismantle the Gender Trinary series. Warning: Rated E!
Logan straightened his tie and opened the door.
“You're earlier than anticipated,” he noted to Roman, whose face was flushed. “Not that it particularly matters.”
“What's going on? Is Pat okay?” Roman asked immediately.
“Yes, of course.” Logan frowned. “Why wouldn't he be?”
Roman did something that could only be described as goggling at him.
“You texted me,” he said slowly, as though talking to a small child, and Logan bit his lip. “I thought Patton was dying! I thought someone must have a gun to your head –”
“Ah. Yes, well.” Logan flushed, pulling Roman inside properly, to give them whatever privacy the thin walls of the apartment would allow. “I wanted to talk to you.”
“About…?” Roman demanded incredulously.
“About that.”
Logan gestured at the alpha in front of him. Roman was tall, muscular, and utterly infuriating. He was a Theater student who enjoyed loud singing and socialising in large groups, and thought that Hamlet was better than Macbeth. In other words, he was Logan's opposite in every way: frivolous, emotional and impulsive.
But Patton liked him. And so…
“You are hostile to the very concept of socialising with me,” Logan observed. “And… I have been unnecessarily hostile towards you. I feel that this situation cannot continue.”
Roman seemed to deflate a little.
“Oh. I didn't realise this was an attempt to… ah, clear the air. My most humble apologies for assuming your ill intent.”
“That is quite alright, we have both been at fault,” Logan said. “And I… apologise… for my part in that as well.”
The two of them eyed each other for a moment.
Then Logan nodded sharply.
“We should begin a physical relationship.”
“What?”

ohoho PLEASE infodump about your a/b/o verse, Vi. what are gender roles like there? are alpha/alpha or beta/omega relationships or things like that accepted or is it taboo? I also adore the Gender Trinary verse so I'm already 10000% on board here
okay so essentially the current, most common set up in western society is that theres 2 juvenile sexes and genders (AMAB and AFAB, girls and boys) four adult sexes (alpha, AMAB betas, AFAB betas, and omegas) and 6 adult genders, (alpha men and women, beta men and women, and omega men and women) and thats before we get into trans people who just like in real life can be anywhere on this spectrum.
before this universe's version of first-wave feminism, all alphas were considered men upon puberty, and all omegas were considered women on puberty. a beta girl becoming an alpha was viewed in some cultures as good/"an improvement" or a detriment, depending on the exact strain of sexism in a given culture. an older girl becoming an alpha and therefore the heir over her less-suitable younger brother was generally considered good, whereas the loss of her bride prince in cultures where that was common was viewed as a financial blow in others.
during first wave feminism, alpha and beta women began to fight for the right to vote and hold jobs and also for alpha women to continue to present as women into adulthood.
the rights of omegas (who are usually have multiple births of 2-3 and were therefore easier to stereotype as homemakers) came slightly later, and specifically of omega men (who were considered embarrassing to the family) was more folded into to the queer rights movement in the 80s.
one omega+multiple beta and one alpha+multiple beta pack set ups are the most common. packs with both an alpha and an omega are slightly less common, specifically because they are so territorial and snappy in mating season (as evidenced by the fic) but still pretty common to see.
next most common is packs made entirely of betas, which also are the most likely to consist of multiple monogamous pairs living communally or otherwise non-everyone-in-a-pile polycules
packs with more than one alpha or more than one omega are the least common. these relationships are stereotyped as inherently violent, with conservatives on the line that an alpha/alpha or omega/omega pair would basically be incapable of not hurting each other during mating season
(tangentially related, alphas and omegas have a mating season in december, while AFAB betas experience an estrus cycle throughout the year, and AMAB betas have niether. they can all still have sex outside of those times, but fertility and sex drive are FAR increased then )
the current ships i have Thoughts For are obviously prinxiety, and then logicality (beta logan, omega patton) is casually-but-getting-more-serious dating remile (established beta/beta couple) and then the pack of remus (alpha), janus (alpha), Missy (nonbinary omega) and Parris (nonbinary beta)

I hope this isn’t rude, but I genuinely wanted to get your input on an issue since I’m not nonbinary. I just read a post on another blog that basically says that nonbinary lesbians can’t be misgendered as women because they are calling themselves lesbians. By this person’s logic, nonbinary people can’t be lesbians because by using the term they must identify as women, and therefore can’t also be nonbinary (they’ve also flat out admitted that they don’t believe nonbinary lesbians exist). [1/4]
So, first, not rude of all. Second, This dude sucks. Like honest to god he sucks ass holy fuck.
As a Gender:Mean person (not a ‘real’ identity don’t try to google it, you will get nothing) who’s dating a lesbian, the very implication that I, by association, must be a woman? Pretty cringe and rude of the man. In my (trans) lesbian girlfriend’s own words, “I like women and people who are vaguely aligned with women”. and like. non binary is not a third gender. this is not a trinary. Literally, every single nonbinary person chooses in this regard. And I choose to mirror my lover’s. Simple fact is that, like, this specific guy cannot comprehend the concept of butches who use pronouns as another way to be gnc, of people who don’t have pronoun preferences, of fucking ungendered pronouns. He straight up denies the fact that any modern lesbians who identify wholly as women might use pronouns other than she/her.
But then, there’s the catch. people like this clown don’t actually care about lesbians, or transphobia, or any of this shit. Like, look at this shit.
This isn’t the perspective of a person who actually gives a shit. Nobody normal says shit like this, honestly. Plenty of self-identified exclusionists would call this a stupid take. People like this guy? All they care about is posturing like they’re the smart guy in the room and honestly? Debate is overrated.
anyways @occasionlyme23 I’m still waiting on that 200 dollars. Anyone else, you can also have me on your podcast if you pay me.

SAVIX | Redefining passive income
The DeFi answer to traditional savings accounts – Redefining passive income
Savix is the first self-staking token with a staking mechanic embeded into the ERC20 protocol. It offers many unique features:the first predictable embedded staking protocol.
gas-free staking rewards directly to your wallet
combinable with other DeFi projects
unique in it’s innovative staking mechanism
a ready-to-run and audited product
lucrative with 85% APY for the first year
1 Token = 3 streams of passive income (See Trinary Dapp)
The Road To Smart DeFi For Everyone
Savix main objective is to let users profit as much as possible from the new investment opportunities created by decentralized finance with as less barriers as feasible. This is the Savix mission.
Therefore we let users combine multiple income streams while keeping full flexibility of token usage. The staking mechanism built into the Savix protocol works without any need for user actions. Users don’t have to lock their tokens and don’t have to claim their rewards since the staking process works completely automated
“Easy DeFi For Everyone” — savix mission statement
Savix Dashboard As Heart And Brain Of Savix
In order to achieve the goal of Savix’ mission statement the following elements will be built into an integrated application:
🡆 Personal finance overview showing balances, rewards and their historical development
🡆 Integration of decentralized exchange for converting to / from Fiat currencies and other blockchains using existing bridging technologies
🡆 Steering modules for different DeFi products like lending, money markets / liquidity providing, decentralized synthetics or non-fungible token markets
All of these applications will be combined into the Savix dasboard which will serve as entry point into the world of decentralized finance for Savix holders.
Most important for the design of the Savix DeFi dashboard is the maxime to reduce complexity as much as possible by concentrating all functionality to the minimum required to guarantee smooth and stable processing of all functions. This is achieved by designing predefined settings and process templates for all actions and interactions investors are able to launch and trigger through the dashboard.
In contrast to other user interfaces the Savix dashboard will stick to main features of applications integrated. Users will be offered single choices in an easy-to-use interface, handling the complex details of DeFi products in the background powered by predefined processes and workflows designed for typical usage szenarios.
Savix Trinary Optimizing Uniswap Liquidity Providing
Savix Trinary will be an application applying these guidelines in order to optimize profits investors can get by participating in Uniswap liquidity pools.
The complex interaction of minting the Uniswap specific liquidity providing tokens (LP tokens) and reinvesting them for optimizing gains will be automated by this application. Instead of having to actively observe the development of the liquidity pool, withdrawing LP tokens and deciding on whether to reinvest or withdraw them, Trinary will simply offer investors to participate in the application taking care of all details by itself.
This way the complexity of optimizing liquidity providing is reduced to a single decision, to participate or not, to click or not to click.
More details on Savix trinary can be found at the specific medium article.
The Savix Token
The Savix (SVX) token has got a double function within the Savix ecosystem:
SVX tokens create predictable regular interests generated by its protocol embedded staking mechanism. At the core SVX tokens are the DeFi answer to traditional savings accounts since they embody the option to receive rewards which are regular and predictable as classical fiat savings once used to do.
Additionally the flexibility of letting all SVX tokens unlocked while participating in the staking system offers the potential to use SVX tokens as collateral for other DeFi investments at the same time.
This double nature of SVX tokens lead to the exceptional concept of multiple streams of passive income made possible. Or, referring to the integration and usage of the Trinary application, to the concept of “1 to 3”:
1 token enabling 3 income streams
The Savix token is the backbone to the integrated dashboard with applications built on top of it.

Climbing The Olympic Step-By-Step : Savix Roadmap
As often in life the way to reach the goals outlined here is a long one. Nevertheless, the path is well-known and we are on our way, having achieved several milestones already.
The Savix token’s smart contract and staking logic is designed, developed, audited and deployed already. The staking mechanics get activated immediately after official trading starts! All ready-to-roll!
The next steps necessary on the way to the inclusive DeFi ecosystem and dashboard illustrated above will be:
🡆 Creating awareness of and market stability for the SVX token.
This task goes along with a lot of marketing and community building since a stable value of the SVX token is essential for all upcoming features to be built upon. Hence interactions with YouTube influencers, but news portals as well will play a major part in this development phase.
🡆Selecting suitable DeFi partners and establishing cooperations with them.
From hundreds of DeFi products and tools available a selection of well-working products will have to be selected in order to set up partnerships to the mutual advantage of both parties. Potential DeFi partners will come from the areas of Decentralized Exchanges (DEX), Decentralized Money Markets (like lending and borrowing), Decentralized Synthetics (like digital shares) and non-fungible token markets.
🡆Best-Practise Solution Savix Trinary
To demonstrate the power of multiple income streams the Trinary dapp will be developed as one of the first priorities.
🡆Savix Integrated DeFi Dashboard
The Savix dashboard will always be organically evolving software the adapts to new partner products as well as ideas and requirements coming from the community. Therefore it will be created in several steps. In connection with Savix Trinary a first basic version of the dashboard will be released. With the following releases of the dasboard new functions and DeFi partner products will be integrated.

Black Library: Damocles by ukitakumuki
artist’s commentary:
Black Library: Damocles
Check out the e/book here! : www.blacklibrary.com/warhammer… Illustration © Games Workshop Art director/producer: Karen Miksza ++++++++++++++++++++++ The brief for this one was a three-way melee between Kor'sarro Khan of the White Scars, Tau Commander Shadowsun, and Captain Kayvaan Shrike of the Raven Guard, amidst a mixed-force battle of White Scars, Raven Guard, and Cadian IG versus the Tau fighting atop a rocky promontory with jungle. The main focus of the show is Shadowsun, whom according to the reference and specs sent to me, often fields two shield drones. I thought that could be a perfect excuse to not end up in an awkward “2 on 1” prong attack. So that resulted in our assault marine captain Shrike pulling off a DFA and Kor'sarro timing a strike to take out her shield on one side. Given the hardback template/format I decided early on to have two back to back crisis suits behind the main trinary to visually frame the action and hopefully some narrative link to what was going on in the background. While sketching in comp ideas I was thinking of World in Conflict FMVs (yeah I watched a compilation vid of the different sequences but set to just Audioslave’s Shadow on the Sun… how apt for our Tau commander ) which inspired that jungle crossfire for the back cover (left of image), along with some physics logic I thought should be observed such as “if plasma based weaponry gets spammed in the general direction of a forest, there should be a moderate to high chance of a forest fire occurring” which kinda explains why we see the charred dirt and branches and hints of trees on fire in the back. Other favourite points of interest that I recall from half a year back: -Singed/scorched Imperial armour versus cracked/gouged tau armour -Drones buzzing a tree (near the sun) -Devastator Raven going head on with the battlesuit turned away from us, armour in the process of being seared off chunk by chunk. -White Scar reading poetry on the lawn in an admirable last stand -Unfortunate IG, now literally half the man he used to be. Courtesy of being in the open when Tau heavy artillery drops.

++++++++++++++++++++++
This piece is, in my own way, dedicated to two very unique creatives whose achievements and trust in me have both inspired and helped me take my work to higher levels. Ghislain Barbe(
NOT because he is coincidentally now the art director on Eternal Crusade at BHVR
, but because when I was a kid I played a PC game called Heavy Gear by Dream Pod 9/Activision, and along with it came a printed game manual with wonderful mecha illustrations and diagrams that blew my little mind, and he was the illustrator of my favourite designs in the book.), and Peter Cooper(an incredibly kind and talented writer/director who years ago offered me the opportunity to do the illustrated set pieces for his HALO fan-film, Operation Chastity). Moreso because I think they might appreciate certain aspects of this image in their own capacities, like the pew pew lazars. Ok really its just about the lazars and the airburst munitions.
And my special thanks and apologies to my truly professional and patient producer, Karen Miksza, for enduring and evaluating a chickenscratch-sketch of mine that resembled more of a Rorschach exercise than anything. You rock!
As for the artwork:
Reading the brief, and visualising the narrative and technical approach, made me want to crawl under a rock somewhere and just go into a coma. But it dawned on me it was really about huge battlesuits and powered armour on bikes in a desert--the very stuff my favourite SF childhood memories were made of. So I put on some Bubblegum Crisis tracks to remind me of what I felt was special about the genre and what I would like to see happen again, and got back to work. "Say Yes!" by Maiko Hashimoto in particular, really helped bring back those memories.
Bearing in mind this is meant to be a triple-fold/paneled illustration; I was to illustrate a White Scars Stormseer fighting a Crisis Battlesuit with a tulwar on the front cover(rightmost third of image), looming Riptide in center third, and miscellaneous combatants filling up the remainder. The White Scars were to seem joyous in the midst of their hunt, armed with lances or tulwars in addition to the bolters on their bikes. All this was to take place on a dusty plain. I immediately thought that a scene showing a breached frontline would work best, to help put across just how fast moving and aggressive the White Scars are known to be, and for all the long distance planning of the Tau once up close and personal with Space Marines on bikes, it can quickly descend into unmanageable chaos. Troops having to divert their attention from the front to acquire stray bikers without hitting their friends, and crisis suits engaging their thrusters to quickly manoeuver along the ranks and train their guns on the bikes. Crisis suits... in a crisis of their own... aha..haha..h-
As a Chinese guy, I felt it got really hilarious at one point painting Fu Manchu 'roid mongols in sun-bleached white armour going to town on the Tau. So I just rode that wave as best I could Having my own front row seat and getting into the mentality of what it means to create a 40K flavoured illustration is making me more and more of a fan of what I think the franchise represents on different levels. When I say I find 40K really insane, I mean it in a sincerely optimistic way, and I think I am finally getting better at understanding where that balance point between grimdark outlook, cautionary tale/social commentary, and outlandish spectacle sits.
This reflection of what 40K meant to me, had me throwing out the idea that maybe in order for the Stormseer to even be in close combat with a Battlesuit twice his height, required he be presented in a way that could rival the nuttiness of the idea to begin with. So imagining a narrative, I assume these guys could have force-lances that they could also throw, using that as a medium range large-caliber stopping weapon (illustrated at bottom right) and then move into closer combat with their shorter range tulwars. (This of course sets up the visual excuse for the flapping blood-soaked hair plume on the end of the lance up front.) The stormseer would realise that his bolters might be ineffectual at getting him within close enough range so he would opt to just pop a wheelie off the frontline Tau and use the bolter riddled chassis of the crisis suit as a landing ramp and shield to buy him precious seconds to plan his next move. They're Space Marines. Seemed legit. "SAY YES!"
Other favourite details:
-Please excuse the slightly overdone prismatic effect on the Riptide's shield. I still think it looks nice and it makes some sense. Just riffing off similar idea in the previous Tau codex supplement. I also wanted to illustrate how the hexa-projection areas might be linked to individual projection nodes, and we would see how individual 'tiles' pulse under stress as opposed to having a continuous 'texture pattern'.
-I keep reading in the fluff how much advanced targetting tech the Tau pack, technically a Fire warrior would have onboard sensors and targetting aids, that eventually gets meshed with higher level networked data from sensor drones, add on to that markerlight data and more... basically it just sounds like a Tau shooter could be drunk, falling over, and still hit a fly in between its eyes having accounted for atmospheric disruption from 600 meters away. So that I felt gave me the right to imply that they can shoot incoming rounds out of the sky. Which we can see to great effect in the background and right behind the Stormseer. There of course is the consideration for fans who think its unreasonable, so they also look like they could be randomly hit because the relatively slow moving missiles are travelling through a firestorm of plasma. But I just wanted to say what the original intent was Also to the left is a inverted Phalanx-CIWS looking burst cannon drone that seems to be in charge of clearing the skies for ground troops (when I saw that design I almost stood up and clapped at the screen). And for those of you who absolutely do not buy any of that, there's this:
warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Ai…
-Poor Tau loses his head in the background-The bikes were initially block-modelled in Sketchup to help me give a sense of their geometry and what I could do with them. This took over a week to do, the longest I've spent on any of the illustrations to date and burnt a weekend or so (gladly so) getting it done. I hope it makes the Tau and White Scars fans amongst you happy and rooting for your favourites and for mech heads in general

Leptarity (gender arity)
Definition: describing gender entries/entry; the primary diversity of gender; pre-established gender base; the logic of pre-existing gender radix (roots, original category system).
Leptrois had been conceptualized as gender math, as arity is a mathematical concept we use leptary to describe specifically gender arity.
The most known leptarity is the gender binary (meaning two genders). Binarity is understood to embed male and female genders in the Western cultures.
In Bugis society there’s a gender quinary/quinternary (five genders): makkunrai, oroané, bissu, calabai, and calalai. In the Jewish culture there’s a gender senary (six genders): zachar, nekeivah, tumtum, androgynos, ay’lonit and saris.
These cultures weren’t perceived when someone firstly signified gender qua/ternary (trinary or quadnary/quadrinary; three or four genders). There are many different ways to set genders into a gender trinary.
Associating arities with leptivity (examples):
Non-arity: non-binary, non-trinary. A neutrois arity as it’s nongender.
An-arity: nullary, abinary, atrinary. Nulltrois (genderlessness).
A-non-arity: anonbinary. A nulltrois and neutrois arity.
Equarity (equary/equiry): equibinary. A neutrois arity.
Anti-arity: antibinary, negabinary, antigender. Negatrois (antigender).
Un-: ungender, unbinary. Negatrois and neutrois.
Apothigender: apothibinary. Negatrois and nulltrois.
Un-arity isn’t to be confused with unarity/gender unary (meaning one). Abinary for example is a binary nullity, often associated with being agender for the normative trinarism.
Nothing in gender isn’t necessarily precise and exact (hard sciences) as it’s humanities (human sciences), but here we can pinpoint things and some people find arity useful to describe their gender.
No one will stop people from using atrinary as an umbrella term for maveriques for example. You still can use non-ternary to encompass demineutrois and demiagender too.

Summary: Logan and Patton have a big day.
Notes: This is the second part of the Firsts series of prequels for my Dismantle the Gender Trinary series. For newcomers: Patton is a trans man, he and Logan are in love. In this world "mate" means roughly the same as "spouse" in our world.
“Hello, Patton. It's lovely to see you again.”
Patton smiled nervously as he sat down in the chair opposite the doctor's desk. He reached out to squeeze the hand of the omega who had come in with him; Dr Hughes hadn't met him before, but she had heard enough from Patton to make a good guess.
“You're Patton's boyfriend, I presume?”
“Yes,” the omega said stiffly. “Logan.”
He seemed about to offer a last name, but bit it back at the last moment. That was… strange behaviour, but Dr Hughes was well used to hiding her concern behind a mask of professionalism.
“I have to say, I wasn't expecting to see you again so soon, Patton. As I explained last time, I cannot prescribe hormones for you without your parents' consent -”
“My pack leader's consent,” Patton corrected quickly. “Not my parents. Just the alpha or omega in charge of my pack.”
“Yes, but my understanding was that your parents weren't completely comfortable with…”
Patton and Logan looked at each other, and suddenly Dr Hughes knew exactly what they were about to say.
“That's why Logan's here,” Patton explained. “He's my mate. He can consent to my treatment.”

SAVIX - DeFi answer to traditional savings accounts
Introduction
Applications in the area of decentralized finance are one of the most important fields of use for digital currencies today. With the help of convenient platforms such as Uniswap users can easily use innovative financial products based on Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT). The digital currencies that are used for this purpose must be transferred to the respective ledger in which the desired financial instrument is mapped. Tokens used this way are temporarily “locked” and therefore cannot simultaneously participate in a staking protocol. The user has to make a decision, so to speak, whether he invests his money conservatively and safely by staking or more risk-consciously with greater possible profit using a DeFi product. With Savix a virtual currency is now available for the first time, which makes it possible to profit from staking rewards while keeping the token unlocked and liquid, freely available for use in any other DeFi product at the same time.
About the SAVIX Project?
A perfect collateral for DeFi
With Savix a virtual currency is now available for the first time, which gives the opportunity to profit from staking rewards while keeping token unlocked and liquid, freely available for use in any DeFi product at the same time.
Advantages for Currency Holders
Savix is the best collateral for decentralized finance because, it is
1. Multi-Beneficiary
Since Protocol Embedded Staking (PES) allows complete availability of token usage in other DeFi products, rewards can be “doubled” using Savix. This way staking rewards are an extra Layer of passive income. The upcoming liquidity incentive program “Trinary” (see 7) will offer Savix holders another distinctive additional income stream.
2. Convenient
Savix staking is embedded within standard ERC20 transfer functions and is fully automated and 100% passive with no need for user decisions or interactions to receive rewards therefore.
3. Flexible
Savix is compatible with any Ethereum based DeFi project. Savix coins can be used like all standard ERC20 tokens for pooling, lending, yield farming, mining and so on, all this while continuously yielding additional staking tokens to holders.
4. Fair
Savix protocol embedded staking evenly adjust all balances according to the embedded supply development curve (see 3). No preference whatsoever is given to any specific holder. All wallets are treated in the same way, independent of balances, transaction volume or other parameters.
5. Transparent
Savix sources are open. All program codes and contracts are made available through Github and can be inspected and tested by anybody. Due to single contract deployment any manipulation of the contract logic or maximum supply is impossible, no minting of additional coins. Staking rewards are fully transparent and predictable.
6. Stable
With Savix there aren’t any reward releasing events at the end of locking periods which could generate cyclical dumps. Except for market reasons selling Savix is never easier or more profitable at any specific point in time, creating a less volatility.
7. Independent
With Savix you stay independent because the tokens always stay liquid while earning rewards (no locking) and can be freely moved or invested into DeFi products
These features are made possible by the unique Protocol Embedded Staking (PES), which implies the possibility of investing in highly profitable DeFi products with a predictable backing by conservative staking at the same time.
Savix features in short:
1. protocol embedded staking
2. compatible with any DeFi project
3. fully automated – 100% passive
4. unique project (no copy/paste)
5. real time rewards
6. extra layer of passive income
7. fully transparent working mechanism
8. stable against manipulation
9. working product ready for deployment
Using Savix investors can receive threefold rewards:
● ETH and Savix from the Uniswap fee share
● Savix from the ERC20 embedded staking protocol
● ETH from the Savix “Trinary” Pool
PROTOCOL EMBEDDED STAKING (PES)
In order to realize the staking features mentioned above the staking mechanic has been embedded into the ERC20 protocol. The algorithm works by regularly inflating the total token supply according to a mathematical logic implemented into the smart contract. Account balances are defined by their individual share of the total supply thus guaranteeing a non-dilutive allocation of tokens. This way the relative staking profit is and remains equal for all accounts independent of size and user related parameters like staking duration, choice of staking pool etc.
The mathematical logic forming the basis of Savix’s protocol embedded staking follows the following characteristics:
● Transparent supply calculation predictable for investors
● Stability of the calculation towards user behavior and network effects
● Effectiveness of the calculation regarding computing power and transaction costs
The following diagram shows the Savix supply curve normalized to a total supply of 1.
To set some buying and holding incentives kick-starting the ecosystem early investors are rewarded with daily interest rates of more than 2% within the first days after the staking starts. If you start with an investment of 100 Savix (SVX) you acquire before the staking mechanism is activated (directly after Uniswap trading has begun), you can expect rewards according to the table as follows:
TOKENONMICS & TOKEN SALE
The introductory price of the SVX token at the market will be 50 SVX / ETH. A private sale will not be executed. Public presale will be spilt into three phases, each phase – and possible sub-phase – having different discounts and processors. The public sale will start at Uniswap first and then be extended to traditional exchanges for increasing the reach of the token.
Token Distribution & Budget Allocation
● 5% Initial Public Presale
● 20% IEO Launchpad
● 40% Unicrypt Presale
● 20% Uniswap Liquidity (Public Sale)
● 7% Ecosystem Fund
● 3% Bounty Program
● 5% Team
BUDGET ALLOCATION (ETH):
● 36% Uniswap Liquidity
● 7% Ecosystem Fund
● 30% Further Development
● 17% Marketing
● 10% Reserve
Token Details:
● Ticker: SVX
● Platform: Ethereum
● Token Type: ERC-20
● Available for sale: 70,000 SVX (70%)
● Total supply: 100,000 SVX
● IEO Price: 1 SVX = 0.0166 ETH
● Accepting: ETH
● Bonuses: 20% Discount
Initial Public Presale
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE INITIAL PUBLIC PRESALE:
The presale goal is to raise a maximum of 83 Ethereum without a minimum. Savix is privately funded and already shows a working product with (internally) audited smart contract. Contributions of the initial presale will be used for next developments, external audit(s), marketing and partnerships.
Unsold tokens will be moved on to the next presale phases.
● Presale Exchange Rate: 1 ETH = 60 SVX
● Adjustment on Feb 4th 2021: Additional bonus of 10% (10SVX/ETH) taken from ecosystem fund
● Token contract address: 0x8a6e8e9f7d61e97bde7e66336dbeea4fcbb388ae
● Presale will complete on Feb 8th 2021 or when the maximum amount of ETH is raised.
● Minimum Contribution: 0.1 ETH
● Maximum Contribution: 15 ETH
Uniswap Liquidity Pool
Shortly after the presale we will list Savix on Uniswap for public trading.
● Initial Price: 1 ETH = 50 SVX
● Estimated Liquidity (Presale Goal Reached): ~ 800.000 – 1.000.000 USD (Depends on Ethereum volatility)
● Estimated Market Cap: ~ 1.800.000 – 1.900.000 USD
The Uniswap Pool will be locked for 6 month, long enough to build trust with the community. Locking the pool longer than necessary represents a certain risk to the liquidity in case the Savix contract needs to be updated or migrated in the future.
youtube
Roadmap
● For December 2020 the public token sale and start of the UNiswap liquidity pool is planned.
● Directly afterwards the development of the Savix trinary Dapp will start along with creating partnerships to other DeFi providers.
● Approximately in March 2021 a first Alpha version of Trinary should become available.
Key Notes:
The Savix project aims at making decentralized finance products available to non-tech-savvy users. The Savix token enables gas-free automatic staking rewards.
