Hi again. We have a hellweek left before we need to have all our belongings packed and out of this house. We've realized that trying to find something in our area isn't worth it and we've decided to start looking up near Boston, where my girlfriend has a friend willing to apply and move in with us, so we'll have an easier time getting approved and actually paying rent. Our friend has already gotten in to tour an apartment that looks really great for all of us, and we'll be submitting an application hopefully by tomorrow. I've talked to my managers about getting a transfer to a store up there and they're going to help me find a position so I hopefully won't have any lapse in working, though am I still being scheduled for 30 hours a week here rn which I'm extremely grateful for financially but does make the timing messy.

So right now, it looks like the plan is to rent a moving van of some sort at the end of the month/beginning of February and drive up there. We may need to stay a night or two in a hotel depending? On my work, on the approval process, on getting the funds to lock it all down together, on whether we need our friends help with the drive... Everything is so up in the air right now, I wish I could tell you all anything we do have nailed down right now. I'm worried about my car not making it through the drive, or breaking down as soon as we get there. We'll probably eventually need to get a second car anyway, and rely on public transport until we have one.

That's all to say, we know there's an end to this tunnel at some point, and we really really appreciate any help at all while we're still walking it, knowing we're still gearing up for more shit on the other side. I know everyone is stretched so thin these days, and everyone is scared and trying to get out of shitty positions. If you don't have the means to help anyone else, please please focus on taking care of yourself first. Help An Intersex Transfem And A Transmasc Escape The USA

As the USA has gotten more and more hostile for trans people, my partner and I have been struggling more and more to feel safe and secure in our country. Regardless of my feelings on various issues we have decided that the best course of action is to flee the USA for the time being. I have a small hope I may be able to come back one day but for now I must leave. Unfortunately we have gotten into a bit of a pickle. Back in December of 2024, my partner and I were a victim of a hit and run which totaled our car. We had our car entirely totaled which was a horrific experience.

We have had to buy a new car and it completely tanked our savings to the extent we are not struggling to stay more afloat and have had to be careful about our spending. This means fleeing America is much harder. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

My sweet baby Peppermint passed away on December 8th, 2024 at 2:45 AM. She became sick very suddenly and unexpectedly on the 6th as we noticed she wasn’t eating any food or drinking any water. Believing it was a UTI, we took her to our local vet where they prescribed antibiotics. On the second day she got worse and we took her to the emergency vet where she was diagnosed with pancreatitis. We were told that with treatment she would likely survive, but that unfortunately was not the case. Peppermint had suffered from neurological issues and food wasn’t able to go into her stomach, resulting in her passing. I make this post because me and my family are grieving, and in need of help. The vet wouldn’t have recommended treatment if they thought it was too late for my girl, but now we must pay for the rest of the treatment she received.

Her two vet visits cost us $3000 altogether, and this is $3000 we do not have. But we wanted to do anything we could to save Peppermint. If you have a dollar to spare, please consider donating so my baby can rest peacefully. being evicted from my "home" suddenly after 5 years and need support

Hi all, i really really really hate that I have to make this post, and the background feels too personal to get into, but after 5 years of living here in what i thought was an amicable and indefinite arrangement, I am being forced to find alternate housing as my relationship with our landlord has completely deteriorated over this winter. My girlfriend and I have until the 31st to be completely moved out. We intend to follow through on this no matter if we have somewhere else secured or not. Living out of our car would be preferable to dealing with any more hostility or attempts at manipulation from our landlord. I work 30+ hours a week in retail, my girlfriend does online sex work and has a potential part time job lined up as well, but because this is so unexpected we have basically no savings. I have some very dear, generous friends offering to spot us on moving costs and first month's rent, as long as I can find somewhere, but I would prefer not to rely on them so heavily. It doesn't make me feel any better to e-beg, but know that I will be immensely grateful for any amount of support we receive at all, especially when I know so many other people are in equally vulnerable positions, including those attempting to survive and flee the genocide in Palestine.
