Okay, I’ve gotten obsessed with Danny Phantom recently and obviously that means I need to crossover it with Transformers. So like, Holoforms. Ghost.

Imagine some Cybertronian using a holoform at his random earth kid who is incredibly helpful and help said Cybertronian understand earth culture (without realizing it of course). But over time they notice the human flickers sometimes. Parts of their body seem to go invisible, like a hologram. Sometimes their body will glow when in states of heightened emotions, like a hologram connected to a neural link. Obviously, the Cybertronian decides, this ‘earth kid’ is a holoform. But who are they? Why would they chose the form of a human kid, let alone stay in this weird human city. They need to investigate.

Now to Danny Phantom, he meets someone clearly new to Amity Park, possibly the country given how little they seem to know of culture and social norms, and this city is obviously not shallow waters for newbies, so he decides to help them out. Over time he starts to notice odd things. Sometimes they seem to flicker in the light, almost going invisible, like a ghost. Parts of them glow oddly or are just not quite right, like a ghost in a human disguise. Obviously, this ‘new person’ is a ghost. But why isn’t his ghost sense going off? He needs to investigate.

“Murder” Mystery

A crash. A yell. In just a moment, a young man’s heartbeat goes silent.

The pencil in Clark Kent’s fingers snapped. He was used to overhearing unpleasant things. He’d been living with super hearing for his whole life, and usually he could step in to help.

But that didn’t make situations that he couldn’t any less crushing.

Being Clark Kent and not Superman was important. It let him help people in ways he couldn’t with just physical might. But in moments like these, a guilty part of him wondered if he could have saved more lives if he’d just been there, been ready.

Ultimately, it doesn’t matter. All he can do now is make sure the killer is stopped and brought to justice before they can cause any more harm.

Danny Fenton—currently Danny Phantom—sighed deeply as he looked at the debris strewn across the floor of the hotel room.

He’d been looking forward to this trip. A break from Amity’s own ghost troubles, even if it was to attend an Ecto-Science convention. Finally he’d have the time to relax for once without any ghosts interrupting. Plus, Metropolis had its own guardian to take care of its problems.

But nooo, he had to get caught up in an attack here too.

Ugh.

Summary:

After a routine scouting mission leaves one of the mini-cons injured, they end up getting help from an unusual source. Since that day, the small cassettes have been obsessed with this human who stared them down and for some reason, took it upon himself to try and help. Maybe Soundwave has room for one more mini-con in his ranks after all. 

Or: Danny happened to save a metal cat from a fight with Cujo and now ever since then all of these mini robots keep showing up in his town and spying on him (not very secretively). Now he’s got to deal with six mini-mechs and their overprotective twenty-two-foot-tall caretaker… What has his afterlife come to?

Cut tidbit from my Danny Phantom x Transformers au, that was too cute not to share

Ratchet groaned. His holoform was wearing a grubby Harvard sweatshirt and pj pants, his usual tidy braided bun messy and held together with pencils, a busted scrunchie around his wrist.

“Why. Are humans. SO DAMN COMPLICATED.” He moaned, looking up from his desk, his textbook leaving an indent on his protoform’s face. “I have all the information downloaded in terms of anatomy and theory and all the trivia you can imagine, can track vital signs without even touching a patient, but the surgical elements, actually doing my damn job, is the one thing I can only practice manually, and the worst part is, I have already maxed out my allotted unsupervised practice hours in the simulators for this semester. I got a warning from the dean to quote ‘stop risking your health and get some sleep’. I do sleep, I just don't need as much as humans to function. Thanks to the ground bridge, I can still do my job here. She already said that I am making the Dean’s list, whatever that is, and I am scoring in the ninety five to ninety eight range in all my assessments. However, those last five to three points evade me due to my less than stellar bedside manner. The professors even said that they are giving me undeserved slack, since my paperwork marks me as a retired army medic, but that they expect me to improve it for the next semester.”

“Ratchet. Did you just tell me that you are scoring ninety eights at one of the hardest medical colleges in the states, a premier Ivy League school, and the only thing that the professors are critiquing you on is that you are grumpy? That's a fucking incredible accomplishment for a full time student, and you have a job as the Chief Medical Officer of a whole ass army on top of it. Yes, I am aware that your current workload is smaller than usual, but you are still handling most of the paperwork on top of school work and making sure these tin cans don't die in the process. My man, take a goddamn bow, the fact that you still have the energy to complain is incredible.

“Yeah Ratch, just getting into an Ivy is a huge achievement, nevermind keeping near perfect grades.” Jack said.

“Hey, considering that my dream of working at NASA is out the door, it's nice to see someone I know going places.”

“Uh uh, I said that you aren't going to Nashville by yourself, not that you can't consult for NASA long distance under a pseudonym.”

“But I wanted to use the big telescopes and touch moon rocks! There were moon rocks, Ratchet!”

“And I want to not hear whiny children, but I guess neither of us are going to get what we want.”

Danny stuck his tongue out at Ratchet before disappearing into a wall.

Ratchet rolled his eyes, cracking a small smile as Optimus chuckled. :How are your wards always the sassy ones.:

Danny Phantom and Transformers Prime crossover where Danny meets Cliffjumper first

Most crossovers I've seen have Danny randomly ending up in Jasper for some reason and meeting the Autobots there. I'm surprised I haven't seen this angle.

Cliffjumper died on Earth (if that matters at all). Danny lives on top of a portal to the afterlife. Ghosts frequently come through for their own reasons. I think that if Ghost!Cliffjumper heard about a portal to Earth (where his comrades were still fighting), he'd go.

Danny and Cliffjumper might initially butt heads over a misunderstanding. Cliffjumper doesn't have malicious intent, but the TFP Autobots are clueless enough about humans at first that he might accidentally cause some problems while trying to figure out how to navigate Earth as a ghost.

Eventually, they'd come to an understanding. After all, they're both good guys and Danny would love to get to talk to an alien. Cliffjumper would hang out with Team Phantom for a bit. Cliffjumper would learn about Earth and ghosts from Team Phantom. Team Phantom would learn about combat skills from Cliffjumper. From there I can see it going one of two ways.

The US government is anti-ghost (see GIW) and the autobots are working with the government, so Cliffjumper has to stay out of sight while helping the Autobots behind the scenes (and slowly driving Starscream to a nervous breakdown). While he's doing this, he stays in touch with Team Phantom and occasionally helps them out because Cybertronians are social creatures and he needs to talk to people. It isn't until things get truly dire that Cliffjumper shows up with his new friends in tow.

Or

Cliffjumper makes his way back to Jasper and has a tearful reunion with the Autobots. He doesn't tell them about Danny or Amity Park until Unicron awakens, and then he's like "I know exactly who to call for this," because fighting powerful death entities is Danny's thing.

Either way, once the GIW comes up, William Fowler will want some answers about "who in the name of the Red White and Blue is trying to start an interdimmensional war we can't possibly win while we're already dealing with the Decepticon situation?" He's going to tear somebody a new one over this if his higher ups don't beat him to it.

Writing Prompt: Danny Phantom X Rescue Bots

Danny/ Cody

Cody Burns discovers a mysterious cold spot while on a non scheduled patrol. Thinking it’s another forgotten weather machine gone haywire, he goes to call for backup, but he spots something in the distance. To Cody’s upmost surprise and horror, he finds an injured teenager that he doesn’t recognize.

Who would hurt a teenager like that? Just who is this teenager? How did he get on Griffin Rock and when? What was this strange tech he had on him? And, even stranger, why did he have a shard of Energon on him? Did he know about the Autobots?

Little did the Family of Heroes know at that moment they would gain a ghostly ally when Griffin Rock’s legends became more than such. But, would they be able to protect him from those who wished him harm?

“There’s only one way to find out. Rescue Bots, roll out!”

(Cody and Danny are the same age, this would also be a slow burn; and the ship name I’ve been using in my head is Ghost and Rescue)

Danny is forced to flee when pariah is released. The armor didn’t get done before pariah unleashed his terror. Pariah destroyed everything in his way. Danny was not able to save or protect his family and friends. He is all alone now.

Pariah takes to earth to conquer it. Danny was prepared to keep fighting a lost cause when clockwork appeared. He tells Danny that this isn’t the timeline that was meant to be. As it was the ghost king he was unable to rewind time.

To secure a better future tells Danny he needs to flee and when the time came fight pariah once more. Danny was not gonna listen to this man? Elder?? Child….. whatever it was.

He just gets pushed into a portal. Now he is in the dc universe. He had been forced through as human.

Here he does get questioned by the heros. I mean he did fall out of a green portal and land on earth. All Danny reveals is that he was fighting a tyrant who killed his friends and family and was set in destroying his planet. That some random dude pushed him through the portal.

Danny decided not to reveal he was half ghost or the words the nutjob left him. Danny being able to use his powers as human slowly gets used to them and better at using them. Learning the ghostly wail by watching canary. When his ice core forms he mimics Superman’s ice breath. Watching Martian manhunter helps him with his shapeshifting, invisibility and intangibility.

The heroes definitely think that he has some form of mimicking power. Danny can’t fly as a human tho. So no late night flights. Danny does slip info on who he fought so they have basic anti ecto weapons. Not that they realize it’s specific for ghost.

He’d probs end up with the teen titans given his age. Or maybe a hero snags him 🤷‍♀️.

One day giant hands rip open a portal in the sky and out comes fright knight and a horde of skeletons. Nothing they have works on pariah but keeps the skeletons at bay.

Danny decides this must be what the man was talking about. And for the first time since being here transforms.

JLD is here at this point and just is like you didn’t think it was important to tell us it was the fricken ghost king or the fact your a halfa. Danny just says nope.

Will Danny get a lecture. Most likely. Does he win. Yes. Did he become ghost king. Also yes.
