there is so much more to our experiences as humans and as souls that most never even know they are living and experiencing --and being affected by (both positively and negatively)... i can't imagine living so much unseen and unrealized.... that's why I often experience new things, new places and new experiences ... it's the way to open yourself up to things that you wouldn't ever access otherwise. Spiritual Journeys do it the most deep, vast and accelerated progression. From the Rawness of Wild Desert Savages to Serenity and Peaceful Nurturing in a matter of an hour. Arriving to the historic Jaisalmer Fort opened another new chapter in our India Journey. ⠀ Staying -inside- the fort walls -not usually where most people stay when coming here. But I specifically wanted to stay inside the fort to experience the energy of dwelling in this labyrinth fort in The Golden City. ⠀ We are in Rajasthan which is known for being the land of maharajas and medieval forts. We are exploring the energy of royalty and magnificence on our outer journey to trigger inner memories of our previous soul lifetimes. ⠀ We are staying in a 500 year old house called, Fort Villa. ⠀ Staying in this gorgeous villa we had downtime to relax, heal and integrate the crazy, amazing and life-altering journey so far. ⠀ We.Could.Breathe. ⠀ We are the only guests and this place has left no detail out. Meet the DESERT SAVAGES of Rajasthan, India -WE ARE and WE DO!! Are you down for new experiences? Getting out of your comfort zone, letting your hair down and going for it? You should and I’ll tell you why. Keep reading. ⠀ After our uplifting, magical and surreal sunrise camel safari through the silent Thar Desert (see my previous post) we returned back to our desert camp for a sparse breakfast. 🥴 ⠀ So far the food experiences have been the worst. From our arrival dinner last night of questionable scraps of leftovers (read it on my 2nd previous post) leaving us all hungry as we went to sleep in dirty sheets in our tents 🤢 to now this morning offering us enough food for a toddler. Did you see these guys I’m traveling with?!! 😅 no bueno. ⠀ I ask the camp servers to bring them at least 2 more eggs and several more pieces of toast. They looked at me as if I asked for a breakfast buffet. 😛 ⠀ After breakfast we were whisked off to have our extreme jeep experience across the sand dunes. 🙌 ⠀ It was a BLAST 💥💥💥💥 ⠀ How often do you get out of your every day norm and do things you’ve never done? I’m not talking about a day or a weekend. I mean go somewhere you’ve never been, immerse in different cultures and lands, understand this world you live in on a broader basis. 🌏 ⠀ I love these spiritual journeys because we do that and more. The larger gift is learning so much about yourself that you’d never uncover without these kinds of experiences. It unlocks new parts of you that take your life to whole new levels of understanding, self-love, confidence, emotional and mental peace and clarity and direction on your life and next steps. YES a toilet in this “luxury” tent. The dirty sheets didn’t matter now. After the living nightmare in the “luxury” tent last night 😱[see my previous post], it is super early, dark, cold and we need to get outside to meet our camels for sunrise out on the desert dunes. ⠀ This is not my first rodeo (camel ride) nor my first desert. In fact, I can’t count how many times I’ve ridden a camel. Mostly in various places in Egypt like by the pyramids of Giza, up Mt. Sinai at 2 AM and in the Sahara Desert. Since I have led Spiritual Journeys in Egypt for over 12 years and also lived in Egypt for a year I have made many camel experiences. But this is my first time with a camel in India and my first thine in the Thar Desert. ⠀ I love camels and I love deserts. Especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s a special, magical and spectacular energy to -be- in. This morning was no exception. ⠀ The desert offers an expansive energy and experience. With nothing else but desert as far as you can see it feels like infinite +. ⠀ We all know what infinity is, but to actually experience it is a whole other thing. ⠀ When you have the opportunity to be in this expansive energy it allows your energy to experience expansion too. When you are aware that you have a spirit, soul and energy that can melt into an expansion like this it unlocks your soul to share much more of you with you. ⠀ Imagine never giving yourself such opportunities. An exploding monkey 🐵 Blink your eyes and you see, hear, smell something completely different. Walking tour of Old Varanasi ancient temples, local streets, wedding festivities, cremation ghat, shopping, tattooing, a bit of scammery a temple and of course cows and monkeys. ⠀ Walking through the outside marketplace [Loud] BANG!! And then a shrieking monkey scream ... What’s that?! ...monkey... we heard a monkey actually blow up 💥 That was intense. It was a loud bang as something electrical blew him up. He screeched and that was it. Monkeys on the roofs were all facing towards the scene. The first monkey in the video is a depiction. 😢 It was so sad seeing all the monkeys starring towards the explosion. —Except for one monkey that was busy stealing some fruit and enjoying it. Apparently this happens a lot. ⠀ Biz ended up getting a tattoo of Shiva on the back of shoulder. He missed the walking tour as it took a good 3 hours to get the tattoo done. It’s amazing. ⠀ It was interesting to learn more about Varanasi and also to visit and learn about the cremation ghat where they burn deceased people. ⠀ Considered the holiest city in India, Varanasi is such an interesting place with endless things to see, experience and smell 🥴 ⠀ I love Varanasi.
