This is an event to celebrate trans characters and creators in the Dragon Age fandom!
It’s bleak right now for many of us, both in terms of politics and weather, so this is an attempt to spark some trans joy and uplift each other with a low-key but hopefully fun little fest that culminates on Trans Day of Visibility.
Schedule: Prompt submission: Feb 6-15 Prompt claiming: Feb 16-22 Posting: March 23-March 30 Works revealed: March 31 (aka Trans Day of Visibility!)
More info under ‘keep reading.’
@dragonagefanevents
How does this event work?
People submit prompts related to a certain theme and/or claim which prompt they’d like to write about or draw. At the end, all the writing and art is revealed on AO3.
What’s the theme?
Trans characters in Dragon Age — anything about them.
What is the schedule?
Prompt submission: Feb 6-15 Sign-up/prompt claiming: Feb 16-22 Posting: March 23-March 30 Works revealed: March 31
Do nonbinary/genderqueer characters count as trans?
Of course! That’s who the white stripe on the trans flag is for, y’know. This event is for all non-cis characters and creators.
I’m cis. Can I participate?
Sure, as long as you’re respectful and have done your research.
How do I participate?
- Make sure you have an AO3 account, because that is where works will be posted.
- Submit prompts via this form.
- There will be another form posted on Feb 16 to claim a prompt. Prompts are claimed on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will receive an email confirming which prompt you have claimed.
- You create something based on your prompt.
- Post your work to AO3, and make sure that you post it to the Trans Thedas Fest collection by entering “trans_thedas_fest” (without quotation marks) in the Post to Collections/Challenges box.
Tumblr media
- Works will be revealed on March 31.
What do I need to write for a prompt?
You can be as vague as “something about [character name],” or as elaborate as you like. But try to be detailed enough to give writers/artists something to work with.
What characters can I write/draw/write prompts about?
Any of them, as long as the focus of the work is on a trans character—one of the canonically trans characters (such as Krem, Taash, Maevaris, etc), a trans OC, or a canon character that you headcanon as trans.
What are the requirements for what I create?
Fic: at least 500 words (no maximum word count)
Art: clean line art
Use of generative AI is not allowed.
Fanfic should be standalone (not part of a series).
Make sure it’s rated and tagged appropriately.
Please wait to post your pieces on social media until after they have been revealed on AO3.
Who are you?
I’m JJ (they/them). My main blog is @lordlaidir and my AO3 is undeadpirate.
I have other questions! How do I get in touch?
You can send a message on tumblr, send an ask, or send an email to [email protected].

An assortment of Pride-themed Garten of Banban drawings, ranging from serious but not very deep headcanons to "you know what would be funny?" (explanations below the cut)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bittergiggle's image has a big intersex-inclusive progress pride flag, and for the character specific flags he has the queer and genderqueer ones.
Banbaleena's image just has the trans flag (hc stemming from me designing her as a sheep and only remembering that ewes don't have any horns afterwards).
Banban's image has basic rainbow flags (I used them for any accessories just to make drawing them easier for myself) and the bi flag (purely vibes-based).
Flumbo's image doesn't even have any flags I just thought it was a funny concept.
Toadster's image's background and shading are different because it was the first one I made, but the flags are a basic rainbow one, and a green carnation instead of a flag. For those who don't know, green carnations are a classic achillean symbol, in a similar manner to how violets are a traditional sapphic symbol. Toadster just gives me the vibes of someone who'd have a carnation instead of a flag, idk where he would have learned it from but I'm sure some western movie out there has referenced it.
Kittysaurus's image just has the basic rainbow flag, I don't actually have a hc for her I just wanted to include her. Bittergiggle gives me the vibes of a guy who'd take his cat to pride with him bc "otherwise she'll feel left out :(".
The gay divorce image doesn't have flags I just thought it would be funny. Love loses.
The bird family's image has the ally flag. The protect queer kids text is actually not in reference to the opi-lings, I kind of intended it to be like those drawings people make of animals protecting their offspring with a similar slogan, the intended takeaway is that you should protect your community members as strongly as animals protect their offspring, not that the creatures in question are that particular identity. Also again I just wanted to include the Opi-lings because they're fun to draw.
Last but not least the final image has the intersex-inclusive progress pride flags, and an asexual flag. The ace flag was just intuition and has no actual basis. I have no headcanon for Jumbo Josh I just wanted to include him because like. That's Jumbo Josh I couldn't not include him.
These are all I have for now, you can throw more hcs my way, and I might draw more if anything catches my eye.

making (slightly rude) assumptions about you based on your favorite Strangetown sim
remade to be more organized
Tumblr media
Pascal: You're probably gay, trans, or both. Probably a Nervscal shipper as well. You're responsible for the amazing art within the fandom, which makes up for your surface level, black-and-white interpretations of every character and the fact that you reduce Pascal to either a boyfriend/husband or an alien incubator
Vidcund: You're either a CallMeKevin fan, an irony-poisoned individual, or have him on your hear-me-out list. You probably also projected onto him to some extent, whether it's being an introvert or being on the asexual/autism spectrum. You also have a very mixed relationship with the PSP game and you want Dominic Newlow's head on a stick
Lazlo: Either a chill person who ships Cryzlo or a Crystal hater who secretly wants to date Lazlo and projects onto the person that they're shipping him with. If you fall into the first category you have amazing taste and you should be proud of yourself. There's a possible chance that you might be bisexual/pansexual
Tycho: Pascal fans but instead of creativity you have objectively incorrect opinions. You probably haven't played the PSP game and just got all of your info from the wiki or someone else who only got their info from the wiki talking about it. This is like saying your favorite Pleasantview character is Unborn Baby Broke. If you wanted green with no personality, pick a Smith at random instead
---
Pollination Technician 9: You like aliens and have him on a hear-me-out list. Also you're probably some variant of gay/bi even though he and his family give off very stereotypically straight sitcom family vibes
Jenny Smith: You are in desperate need of a hug or at least someone to vent about your problems to. She either reminds you of your mother or she's the mother that you wish you had. I'm going to also assume that you're either straight or have very basic taste in women. At least she's a healthy choice
Johnny Smith: You're a JRO or TankJohnny shipper, and the reason why it's almost impossible to search up certain sims for reference photos without seeing ship art of said sim with another character
Jill Smith: Not sure if I've ever seen a Jill Smith fan but you're probably pretty chill, minding your own business and enjoying the weird snippets of Jill's character that we got from the PSP game. You probably also like Buck
---
General Buzz Grunt: I'm so sorry for what you have to deal with. You all seem chill but I know damn well it probably gets annoying seeing your fave get slandered repeatedly over popular headcanons that get interpreted as canon. Congrats on still hanging in there
Tank Grunt: Golden child with anger issues and therapy who's possibly closeted to some extent. You also have a very conflicting relationship with your parents and people misunderstanding you
Ripp Grunt: You're probably not straight, dabbled in alternative culture but coudln't afford to actually give yourself an alternative look, and you probably played the other neighborhoods before
Buck Grunt: You pity him for being constantly overlooked and the fact that the Bus Driver won over him in that one poll. You probably also like Jill, even if you don't necessarily ship them
---
Olive Specter: You think she's iconic/a girlboss and probably wish you could be six feet under her garden as well, not in a suicidal kind of way but in a "I'd be happy if she was the one who took me out" kind of way. The Life and Death pack was very important to you, and you think about Ichabod more than the average person
Ophelia Nigmos: You pick your favorites off of personality and lore rather than on how fun they are to play. You don't need to tell me that she's actually the best character because "she's an alternative teenage girl with anxiety who lives with her serial killer aunt and twenty one ghosts" or that she has a tragic backstory
---
(to either of these three: You have a very mixed relationship with the PSP game because you hate what they did to the characters)
Loki Beaker: You love the "hate everyone but her" type characters and people who would sacrifice the world to save the one they love over sacrificing the one they love to save the world. You're probably also a fan of malewives and make jokes about his eyebrows
Circe Beaker: You love girlbosses, you hate Dominic Newlow and want his head on a stick more than the Vidcund fans, and you probably have a very mixed perception of Vidcund. You probably also enjoy a good masculine woman/feminine man dynamic.
Nervous Subject: A fusion of the Pascal fans and the Olive fans. You were super happy seeing the Life and Death version of Nervous but got super pissed when you found out that they named him Nyon. You pick and choose which parts of the lore to care about and consume angst for every meal
Atom/Ceres: You're here from the Sims 3 and a stickler for canon. Also unrelated but Atom is a really bad name for a child, dunno why they couldn't name Atom after another Roman god like with Ceres. They even double as planet names which makes even more sense for knowledge sim Loki, like come on
---
Ajay Loner: You love how little there is to him because you can literally just make him whatever you want and it technically still works because the lore never said that he wasn't
Chloe Curious: You love chaos and drama, and you're either some variant of queer or the type who wants a gay best friend
Lola, Erin or Kristen: Girl's girl, possibly sapphic. You're also more into career/drama-based gameplay than family gameplay, and you're probably not the biggest fan of Lola/Ajay
---
Bella: You love sim lore and you love Pleasantview more. You also get super hyped up anytime she appears in the background of your game. Anytime Bella appears in the background of your game you become that one picture of a wojak who's pointing at something in the background
Crystal: Lazlo fan and probably really chill considering you had to put up with the really bad interpretations of her that either reduced her to either nothing more than Lazlo's girlfriend or made her super toxic so he could either break up with or "fix" her. Barbenheimer was also very important to you
Abhijeet/Meredith: why

Saw an ask about an apparent problem of people drawing Qiu whiter than he is and whitewashing. With that in mind, I think you should hold the same standard for Tamarack for artists that draw her darker than she is to outright black. Tumblr and Twitter in general have an obsession with coloring traditionally white/pale characters the complete opposite race or adding details like kinky/coiled hair and see no issue with it but raise hell the moment a poc is one hue lighter. It erases their identity just as much as everyone says whitewashing does but everyone constantly falls back on the "only whites can be racist so changing their identity in art is okay!!" pipeline
Tamarack comes from a German family and is white, so please take the same level of importance when artists "blackwash" her or any other character in your series.
You know generally, I don’t like to use this blog to as a place to act like I’m the best, most correct person in the world and respond to things where I’m simply telling an anonymous person they’re wrong. I’m just someone who has people following me because they like the stories this company makes.
However, this is something that people should know. If our POC players draw our characters having a darker skin tone than they do in-game and/or give them a different hair texture, that’s alright. I’ve fallen off on reblogging stuff on Tumblr but it’d still be liked or reposted on Twitter.
Whitewashing means far more than the literal act of a single individual making someone look white in a fanart. If a trans player wanted to headcanon a cis character was trans, that’s one thing. If a cis person decided to take the only trans character for miles and insist they are, in fact, cis, well that’s another matter entirely. Your experience with your race and your experience based on sexuality or gender aren’t the same things, it’s not a one-to-one comparison at all. But can people who don’t get it at least start to see how there can be a difference in impact here?
The people who are oppressed in this country aren’t hurting you by trying to enjoy the media that most of the time intentionally excludes them. POC weren’t the ones dehumanizing white people in horrific ways. The overwhelming majority of stories and representations of heritages out there have been and still are white people’s already. Anyone reading this who was thinking along the lines of what’s in this ask need to get comfortable understanding and accepting that. And if you don’t, maybe you should find another game because I’m not going to “protect white identities” from being drawn as people of color. In fact, I think it’s actually really nice if our characters are fun and comforting to people of color so much so that they’d like to imagine those characters being included in their own culture. I think it’s strange that someone would be angry about it.

hi, i just wanted to drop in and ask if you know of any other blogs that post hp meta/discussion that are also very jkr critical? i love everything you write, but many of the other blogs i find when perusing tags are... questionable. its kind of a requirement for me to know that the people posting hp on my timeline don't hate trans people so if you know of anyone else who meets that criteria, i'd love to be linked!
Okay. Now the last thing I want to do is write a callout post (or the opposite of a callout post? A call-in post?) BUT. I do also know that this site can be hard and frustrating to use before you've built up a good follower list for yourself. I know it was definitely rough for me there at the beginning, when I first exploring HP tumblr.
So, this is not meant to be a comprehensive list, this is me going through my recent reblogs and DMs, and if anyone feels they should be on the list (or wants to be taken off the list - people use their fandoms to have a good fun chill time, and I respect that. Having a good fun chill place to exist is unbelievably important.)
But I would say these are are blogs who regularly write meta about Harry Potter that is primarily rooted in the books, while remaining critical of the books in way that I enjoy, and are some combination of funny, earnest, and academic (and drama-free, that's a big one.) I haven't gone and background checked them all or anything, but these are people who I've either had good, meaty conversations with in the DMs, have publicly posted about disagreeing with JKR and her political views, or that I've just followed for a while without any problems. Or some combo of the above.
As I'm sure some of the people on this list will tell you, we *definitely* interpret the books differently and have different headcanons, but their style of interpretation is one that fits with the kind of experience I want to have.
***
@saintsenara - a new follow, but I'm in the process of reblogging their back catalog, and they've definitely written about how to be a HP fan in post JKR-swan-dive-off-the-deep-end world, in the context of their absolutely hysterical crack ship series.
@thistlecatfics - bio says "fuck jkr in a canon compliant way" which I rather like. Their last post was a link to their new Sirius/Fanon Sirius one-shot - which was so sweet, clever, and well-written. Which I think is very much their vibe. I massively enjoy their "Harry Potter Characters in Therapy" series.
@pangaeaseas - a really fun follow. They post a lot, they're funny and their ideas are unique, original, and sometimes totally off the wall. It's like they keep throwing out fun little bookclub prompts/discussion starters, and then we all have a really nice time.
@its-the-allure - lovely, and my intro into some really fun, chill fandom communities. @etl-echo-audiobooks is fantastic, they do live readings of fic of their discord and then turn them into audio books. Did one of my metas once! Also they're currently running a Drarry fest, I snagged a prompt but there are plenty left.
@the-phoenix-heart - has been a mutual for a while. Their original stuff is mostly art, when it comes to text-based stuff they're more of a commenter and reblogger. But they're a GREAT commenter and reblogger. They know their stuff, and I would feel weird leaving them off the list.
@blorger - always has an interesting take, especially when it comes to worldbuilding, and they always do their research and cite their sources. Their last post was all about debunking the popular fanon that the non-Snape teachers are really prejudiced against Slytherin as a whole. Also, great fic reccomender.
@360degreesasthecrowflies - probably the most political blog on this list, which they would definitely agree with. What I really love about them is the way they're willing to go into historian mode, and find and repost some really excellent HP Meta originally written for Livejournal. I was never on Livejounal, so all this stuff is new to me, and I feel like it also provides a really good perspective on fandom history.
@arkadijxpancakes - really well-written, well-thought out, well-supported meta. Great thoughts on worldbuilding. One of the only blogs I've found that really digs into the Weasleys, but they have great takes on everything. Has a very reasonable, focused, lets-get-to-the-heart-of-the-issue vibe that I really appreciate.
@riddlesmoon - followed me recently, and I know you don't post as much original content as you'd like, but I think your comments are hilarious and very insightful, and you *should* write more meta.
@hollowed-theory-hall - another person who can cite their sources really impressively. Tends to do very comprehensive deep dives into worldbuilding out things like the magic system and in-universe politics, or doing very in-depth text-based character analysis. I also love it when they post designs and art, because they went in a very different direction than the films did, but it still totally works.
@trothplighted - I know them from their main blog, which is about literature in general and not HP, but this post got them to resurrect their HP meta blog! I've had fun discussions with them, and they have good takes on other literature, so lets see how this goes :D
@regheart - A good, mellow follow (but with absolutely zero tolerance for JKR and her antics.) A good blend of art, fic recs, and fun good takes. Just read a post of their reccing fics that are pro-Jilly, but still willing to dig into their potential issues as a couple. Which I think is pretty representative.
I 100% expect to add to this list as I think of/find more people, but that should be enough to get you started.

I’m. So baffled by that one dude saying that trans men being able to pretend to be women is a privilege, because in his tags he says that it’s a thing specific to transmascs. Does he mean pretending to be cis as a means of safety is a transmasc specific thing?? Because uh, I’m… pretty sure that’s something that can be done regardless of a trans person’s gender? There are transfems and nonbinary people who can also pretend to be cis [whatever their agab was], too?
Its also not a privilege. Having to hide what you are out of fear isn’t a fucking privilege lmao
strangely people understand that when it's about trans women
just saw a post on my dash saying "'infighting' is a dogwhistle which frames transfems as aggressors". i really hope the tide is turning like you said, bc this shit is getting exhausting and im still seeing it from random people i follow who otherwise gave no indication that they drank the koolaid.
they make me out to be the aggressor all the time!
Nazi imagery anon here
These are the pics I was referring to.
As you can see it’s posted on the verified border security account and you can see two different nazi symbols on him :(
yeah it looks like standards for what they allow soldiers to adorn themselves with are low and the person taking and posting the pics aren't paying good enough attention because that guy also straight up has a naked anime bitch on his knife sheath
as I said this is an individual thing and they need to start knocking their heads together like the Three Stooges and sending them into trenches first
You know who saying that th**fab is actually a storied term that trans fems have been using to identify transmisogonists is fucking insane like girl that's such obvious lie give us nothing
they aren't even trying
It’s crazy how almost every other day on this site I see a new post with like 50k notes talking about how absolutely NOBODY deserves to be harassed, sent death threats or be put on blast yet once again I’m seeing people trying to justify the harassment of another transmasc teenager. Honestly people should just start openly admitting Tumblr is becoming increasingly hostile towards trans masculine individuals, I don’t see clownery on this level on any other platform-
Tumblr...is really bad.
I think the reason why this whole headcanons discourse bothers me so much is that is really is just fuelled by petty spite. Like all these characters are cisgender in canon. We make headcanons because it’s FUN to expand on characters in ways that reflect our different life experiences in whatever form that may take. Intentionally going after transmascs, especially young transmascs, for doing this with characters like they like and accusing them of all these different things genuinely does just feel like bigotry. Who cares if a head canon may not make the most amount of sense? It’s a cisgender fictional character we’re playing around with! Why does it have to be some grand act of activism to say blorbo number 3 is transmasc? We have much bigger fish to fry here.
exactly it's such dedication to not letting anyone else have anything
So sick of people acting like trans men are the same as cis men under the patriarchy and moreso im really sick of the "you're privileged to not be surrounded by men". Like, for lack of better phrasing, saying that about a group of people that is generally perceived as "failure women" pre transition (and sometimes during and post) is a little tone deaf. All about acknowledging how women and people perceived as women are harmed by misogyny until the ones perceived are men. Gender essentialism is ugly and tasteless and nonsensical. Please feel free to delete this im just rambling without a point
rambling is okay anon <3
„wow ur so privileged to not fear men”
i fear the fucking everyone asshole, i just realized that isnt everyone elses fault so i should still treat them with respect !!!!!
that woman called me a "self-hating doll" and I hate the second part a lot more than the first

different anon: ngl I’m laughing at myself rn bc your recent asks about tboy leshy made me realize that like. my leshy is also a tboy and I just. have never once considered whether or not he has boobs lmao. like. absolutely 10000% forgot that could be an issue lmao should probably figure that out at some point. I feel like maybe I never considered it bc I’m like “he’s a worm ofc he doesn’t have tits”
That's the cool thing about trans headcanons or even just having trans characters in general, there's really no one way to go about them and it's more about what speaks to you + how you think the character would present. Trans people have wildly varying bodies for wildly varying reasons and I think that's fuckin awesome because you can do so much with them in art. The bishops especially can allow for fun body type headcanons, cause you can't really see their bodies in their god forms, and their follower forms are just a preset asset used for ALL followers. They can look literally however you want which is cool!
I can't make the decision for you, but I will say this: I like drawing the bishops' god forms as completely neutral, weird animal things because they're magical eldritch deities that defy logic. But forever ago I thought it'd be funny if when they wake up in their follower forms, they're stuck in lame mortal bodies that have to conform to nature (no more leshy fidget slug, no more kallamar tentacles, etc), and just went with it. Sooo the decision on if leshy binds or not was entirely secondary to that, I'd say just go off of how your lore works and if a worm doesn't seem like it'd come pre-installed with mammaries, then don't worry about it!

Hot take about ORV, go!
ooooo ok this is a little difficult because i feel like i've been very loud about my hot takes so im not sure if i have many untold ones. hmmmmmmmm. recently i've been really pissed off about people calling orv 'basically a bl' because orv has one of the weirdest relationships with queerness ive ever seen and id love to see it talked about more. like orv is so much weirder about being gay than your average queerbaity novel of this genre because it is in conversation with its genre and its fans so you get this. simultaneous mocking and validation of queerness throughout it? sing shong clearly knew that people would ship joongdok and as they often do with various expected reactions by the readers they turn to the camera and provide commentary on it through the constellations or specifically uriel. uriel is a prominent member of the constellation gang who kim dokja values which represents fujoshis being a prominent part of the fanbase who sing shong value. so there is that validation of queer fans who see themselves in these characters (which is explicitly what uriel is and who she represents).
but she also spends so much of the book being mocked and derided and that in my opinion is also sing shong turning to the camera and saying 'yes you are valued readers and your relationship with this story is as valid as any other. that gay stuff is still kinda freak shit though'. which is. complicated! it's complicated! and normally when i see fans call webnovels which are not bls 'basically a bl' or 'gay as hell' or whatever i do not care but i feel like when orv is so obviously actively discussing those fan reactions there should be a little more nuance surrounding them. like idk i very much understand the impulse to ignore homophobia in our favourite stories and just have fun. and i think you can have fun sometimes but it does have to go hand in hand with an understanding and critique of sing shongs attitude towards queerness otherwise you are losing chess to a dog which is actively mocking you for doing so. also theres so much fucking transmisogyny in that book like i see so few trans women in the fandom and its for a good fucking reason and no amount of headcanoning yoo joonghyuk as a trans woman is ever gonna make that go away as much as we can try. like theres a reason the queerbaity moments got removed in the ebook edits and not the transmisogynistic ones and thats because theres so little discussion and backlash about it when there really needs to be.
so idk if this really counts as a hot take but i think orv is weird about being gay in a really unique and interesting way and it would be a lot better if we discussed it more as a fandom rather than sweeping it under the rug. and also if the official english translation keeps in the pink kids as villains i am blowing up the publishing company.

Bit of a weird question but do you have any advice for writing transmen when in couples with fankids? (Moreso referring to the handling of bio fankids themselves)
I’m aware it’s uncomfortably common for characters to be headcanoned as trans only so they’re capable of children so my fankids tend to be a mix of adoptive or bio and i do have transmasc characters/hc’d characters with no kids at all but i feel like i could still be doing better with this. I want to avoid implying mpreg in any of my stories cuz i’m not down with that but also i don’t want it to feel like some transmasc characters are only hc’d that way so they can have kids.
Do you have any advice?
Disclaimer: The world of fanfiction and to be honest fandom culture at large is one I do not know a whole lot about. My advice may be completely irrelevant and I would not know.
I think this sounds like it kind of depends on what you're doing though. If you're just asserting the existence of fan-kids, I do not think a backstory of how they were conceived is all that necessary. Even if you've already stated one of the parents is a trans man/masc, you do not have to explain anything. And you genuinely might run into less pitfalls of doing something potentially offensive by leaving that area alone entirely.
I am going to put the rest of this under a readmore if you really do want to go further with the idea though:
That being said, if you are set on trying write a transmasc person who had a kid in any further depth than just saying "he had a kid", I suppose I would recommend reading real-life accounts of trans men/mascs who did that. However, again, I would only really do this if it is something you *want* to learn more about and want to do justice by, as opposed to just doing it for the sake of feeling like you have to. It's a very stigmatized and sensationalized topic, and a topic that's relentlessly joked about on the internet.
If you are going to write a transmasc person who adopted a kid, just handle it the same way you would if they were any other type of person, since anyone can adopt kids. Though funnily enough as an adopted kid myself, I would say being adopted is its own character trait. Our experiences are different from kids who were raised by our bio parents. Do you want this kid to have that as an aspect of them? Again, this is just a question of "how serious am I going to take this thing?"
There is also a third thing you didnt mention, which is Surrogacy. AKA - A third person volunteers to carry the baby. (If you wanted to be hilarious you could also make that person a trans masc/man. People might not react well to that though lol.) Unless you live in one of the many countries where it is illegal, then you can just skip this one.
Something else that might work for whatever you're doing or might not - if your setting you're writing in is more outlandish, you can get outlandish with the way the kid exists too. Maybe its a clone, maybe its a miracle of modern science. (The powerpuff girls were science-babies, for example.) (Magic baby is also a variant of science baby)
Uh, in the end though, you said you wanted to avoid having it seem like you're only headcanoning a character as trans so they can get pregnant, but you also want to avoid the idea of mpreg. This kind of sounds to me like there ARE some cis-cis couples you kind of would like to have kids. In which case, I would keep them cis-cis and go the surrogacy or adoption or science-baby route. Any couples that might involve a trans guy and someone they could have a bio kid with organically, you can choose whatever you want. But they should be trans because you feel that way about them generally, not just to solve the kid problem.
I really want to re-iterate though that you don't have to explain things just for the sake of showing off your fun kids. Or you could do a barebones explanation of "[X] carried the kid, the kid's adopted, there was a surrogacy" if you thought it was important to say. It's fine to leave things at that.
I hope any of that made sense.

why are your kinktober stories all bottom Simon heavy? I trusted we would see more bottom Wille from you /gen
Anon, up front, genuinely sorry if you meant well and are now about to get the brunt of my frustration that I've built up for over a decade of existing in fandoms and fanfic spaces surrounding queer men and their sex.
Ooookay, I try not to engage in this discourse normally because frankly? It's kinda draining, because the way queer men's sex lifes are picked apart in lots of online spaces is not okay and, frankly, hurtful. But, okay:
I have posted 10 of 31 stories
I intentionally don't tag any of my smut as top!/bottom! anything (tho I don't mind other writers doing it - go off) cause frankly? I don't believe that's something that should matter. It doesn't to me when I think of wilmon. Preferences are fine, cool, awesome, both irl and in reading, there are couples who like to do things one way only and there are couples who mix things up and there's lots of stuff in between. People love to bottom! People love to top! People love any- and everything in between and that is great for them. All of that is fun and cool and absolutely awesome if everyone involved is on board. I simply don't have any one way I headcanon wilmon, I literally just go with whatever the vibe is. That also means I don't believe in having to strike a 50/50 balance or whatever. Also because
sex between men (and, since in one of the stories Wille is a trans woman, between all people, for that matter) is about more than anal and/or penetration. I love to read and write about Wille bottoming, love to write and read about Simon bottoming. But that's noooooot all there is. One thing I do try to do with my smut is write about some of the other ways sex can look. Which includes (mutual) masturbation, hand jobs, blow jobs, intercrural, frottage, a myriad of other acts. All of these are fullfilling ways of having sex, all of these don't follow top/bottom "logic" or whatever you'd like to call it. So what do we do about that?
I know some people - not saying you do, this, anon - like to conflate topping and bottoming with power dynamics, be it sub/dom type of stuff, or just... some vague idea of who is superior or whatever. And that very much CAN be the case, I'd argue Wille bottoming in my vampire fic or even Wille during the wax play in the one fic and the intercrural afterwards is definitely bordering sub-y territory. But you know? That also very much doesn't have to be the case. In the fic that includes 69 it's Simon "calling the shots" or whatever you'd like to call it, despite being the one that's being penetrated. I have fics planned out where the opposite is the case, I have plenty of fics where bottoming doesn't have anything to do about being sub or being dom or anything like that. I think there's this idea going around that somehow, (gay) sex acts are linked to power and power exchange and that there needs to be some equilibrium or... justice??? And. No. That's not how consensual sex, be it in relationships or hookups, works in my mind. In consensual sex, there is no disadvantage in bottoming or no need for any of the partners to bottom to fix some sort of hierarchy. Because there is none. Not in the consensual sex of two (or more) partners that want to have sex to have a good time or feel close or relax or any of the other reasons people have sex.
Fair question to ask, just know that I don't write bottom anything for the sake of making a point, I just write whatever feels like the characters would enjoy it in that particular moment in time, whatever suits the POV I wanna go with. I don't keep a tally of times penetrative sex has been part of a story and who did what. If that's a no-go for you, that's fine and I won't hold it against you. I have a bunch more stories coming up with all kinds of dynamics, all kinds of sex acts, all kinds of differently written versions of our two blorbos.
hope this was concise enough and I recognize that I've definitely put all kinds of other, adjacent, points into this, but this gay man right here is kind of fucking sick and tired of seeing stuff assigned to gay sex acts that are just. sex between consenting partners

Okay so for the pain sharing AU, I have a fun scenario to think about! So imagine one of the Link’s is trans (I personally enjoy Trans Wild). Suddenly, out of nowhere, BAM awful period cramps. How do you think the rest of the Links initially react during and after?
(In this scenario I like to think they would already know Wild is trans, but maybe they forgot that menstrual cycles are a thing and typically are very painful and are woefully unprepared with the exception of Warriors and Time, given the former’s experience in first aid he probably has encountered the horrors of periods at some point and Time is a devoted husband to a woman OF COURSE he’s a doting and helping her during her time of the month. ((Sky would be like that too but I feel like Sun probably has some freaking goddess cheat code and never had to deal with them so he is not prepared either lol.)) So I think those two at least would figure it out pretty quickly what’s happening after the first few seconds of “WTF”)
Ooooh! I actually have been asked about different scenarios about the pain sharing au + period pain 🤭
Here's some posts if you wanna read them/see them
I enjoy all gender and trans headcanons people have for the links (and zeldas), so all of these hypothetical scenarios can work with trans wild or anyone else too, absolutely!

Do you think Andrew is actually, canonically trans?
Why so?
And do you think he would be bad representation for trans?
haha sorry this is gonna get longer than intended
canonically? nah, i highly doubt Nemlei has any actual interest in exploring LGBT topics using TCOAAL, i think if she was she was we would've gotten like, some stuff by now and more outwardly queer themes in TCOAAL's writing.
that being said, it is really fun to think about- @cannibal-pentecost could talk about this a lot better than me since she's been a lot more devoted to the hc, but there are... a lot of little things that shows Andrew having a complicated relationship with masculinity that has resonated with me and other trans women, one of the best new things being him remarking how "girly" it is to kill himself by cutting in one of the endings towards Shots and Such.
that being said... you know, that last question is a really funny one to me, and the real reason i wanted to answer this.
strictly speaking? yeah. he's an incestious cannibal who can in Decay literally murder a child for no reason other than frustration, is implied to have coerced his ex into a sexual relationship she didn't want, and a Bunch Of Other Bad Things. Andrew would be terrible trans rep.
... but what does that even mean, anymore?
we're always trannies in their eyes. to society. being a trans woman, living in transmisogyny: every single day is a struggle to not be a tranny. because there's a difference to the world.
the polite (but confidant, but not too confidant), socially respectable (you must not have kinks that defy society's expectations or must be an uwu soft bean), noble (you must have never done anything bad ever) trans woman. and a dime-in-a-dozen problematic tranny. one is a "woman" society barely tolerates at absolute best, while the other is a "woman" to society that is free to demean and use as the reason why to demean all the "good" trans women, even by those who we should call our sisters. the more i think about it, the more i think about the lie sold to me that i so earnestly believed- that we must love all trans women unconditionally when our own sisters will so often throw us under the bus and offer up us dime-in-a-dozen problematic trannies as a sacrifice so they can feel safe. i can't even post this in the trans tags, i don't feel like getting into another drama with randos.
i know it's not too related to this but you know. once, a trans lesbian hc blog got hacked by transmisogynists. i saved every single post to save that work before i started uploading it again. i was into happy sugar life at the time.
Tumblr media
this ask alone inflicted trauma that hasn't faded after almost 7 years lol. i was literally an anti that had a complicated relationship with HSL and i was decried as a problematic tranny for it.
so what does good trans rep really mean? what does it mean for us to write good representation as opposed to bad representation?
so what if Andrew Graves would be the scummiest trans woman ever. so what if she'd be awful representation. we'll still just be trannies to them. something barely tolerated at best.
... so if she is one, what's so wrong with that? let her be bad representation. it's fine. it doesn't really matter. and i will defend people's rights to be able to headcanon what they want

Queer Headcanons for the Drew Crew
Happy Pride ya'll. Prepare for me to give you my queer headcanons for the Drew Crew.
Fun fact I actually did not come up with these, each of these characters told me when we went out for Drag Brunch this morning.
(Don't take these crazy serious guys this is just me having fun btw and also I trust y'all but pls no discourse about label definitions thx)
Nancy: the girl herself. Nancy is bi and I could really see her on the ace spectrum. I also swear this is not projecting this just makes the most sense to me loooool
Ned: gay or pan! I don't have much to say beyond that. He should know kissing men is an option.
George: Here me out. Okay so a lot of the community hc her as a lesbian, and while I enjoy that headcanon, as my friend points out a lot, the majority of this hc in the fandom is based off of stereotypes or rather being like "she's more masculine thus she's obviously a lesbian". Totally down for George being a lesbian or not (again, these are all just fun ideas I'm playing with) but I raise you this: George is on the aroace spectrum, and could be non-binary or genderfluid. That's what I personally see for George anyways. Honestly George could be anything and I'd be like "hell yeah".
Bess: HERE ME OUT she is sapphic. I don't know what brand but she ISSSSS I could see her rockin with the les or pan flag. She does all their makeup for pride and I think she really loves Trixie and Katya. :)
Joe: Trans bisexual man. I know some people have already had this hc and I love you for it. Mwah I'm kissing you on the lips
Frank: the token straight. :( JK I genuinely don't know what to do with you son I feel like he could be into men but also a bit on the ace spectrum. I'm handing out ace flags like candy and I shall continue.
Extended Drew Crew!!
Dierdre: Good Luck Babe, that is a mean lesbian. It's okay bbg we know you are crushing on Nancy, it's legal now honey go for it
Henry: Bisexual or gay, same as Ned mwahaha. I put him in my pocket with all my other sad little goth gays
Sonny: Pan or bi and I can definitely see Sonny using they/them along with he/him :)
what are y'all's hc for the drew crew??? I think there was a post going around about other nd characters we think are gay but I would also like talking about them again. I'm saying Jenna Deblin because 7 year old me definitely had a crush on her and I still do

Can you do Brett and Corey? 👉👈 (they're my babies and you already did Theo and Liam)
Oh for sure for sure let me get into it 🙂‍↕️
Let's start with Brett:
Sexuality Headcanon: bi ! Wiiith a preference for guys?
Gender Headcanon: cis man, potentially in a i might be sth else but I've got a game to win so i cant focus on that rn type of way lmao. either way totally comfortable in who he is, has rocked a skirt and will do so again.
A ship I have with said character: i really enjoy Brett x Liam before Thiam happens. I also really enjoy Brett x Liam x Theo all together. I ALSO really like Brett x Nolan or Brett x Nolan x Alec 🙂‍↕️
A BROTP I have with said character: THEO AND BRETT ARE THE PERFECT BEST FRIENDS i scream into the void as they try to drag me back to hell. No fr the fics with them being asshole best friends are everything to me.
A NOTP I have with said character: hmm dont know, if done right i could see him with a lot of the characters tbh. (Except the weird ones ofc. Like keep Peter out of any ships ever please)
A random headcanon: i think he genuinely didnt like Liam back when they went to the same school. But after Liam gets bitten, after the shit he goes through, after Liam grows up, Brett is absolutely baffled by the person Liam has become. He finds himself weirdly fascinated and impressed, by Liams maturity and his strength and his character. He never thought the annoying kid he knew would ever turn into this and its throwing him off. He definitely spends a few days if not weeks after that realization in a very weird huh state whenever he thinks about it.
Liam also once accidentally makes a flirty comment towards Brett and Brett totally malfunctions because i didnt know he could do that
General Opinion over said character: love him!! I think hes so fun and i wish hed had more screentime. Hes also one of my favs, best side character for sure. I also have his hoodie, the one with his jersey number and Talbot written on the back
And Corey !!
Sexuality Headcanon: gayyyy very gay.
Though hes regularly blown away by a woman's beauty, in an aesthetic way anyways. (Him and Mason both, theyre very aestheticly appreciative people 🙂‍↕️)
Gender Headcanon: im realizing I've been exposed to a distinct lack of gender hcs in this fandom. Hm... trans man Corey fits very well imo.
A ship I have with said character: well Mason and Corey are just a given, i dont think either of them have a lot of potential other contestants.
Though ive gotta say, just by sending me this ask and putting their names together, you've given me many thoughts about Brett x Corey. I think Corey is totally Bretts type. And if anyone could fluster Brett it might actually be Corey. And we all know Corey and Mason both drool over Brett regularly..... i need a fic where Mason and Corey try to get Brett to join their relationship and i need it NOW. And then Brett thinks theyre just joking cause hes hot but theyre actually dead serious.... mmm yes.. yes
A BROTP I have with said character: i really enjoy him and Theo as friends. Its soo interesting. Itd take so much time and work and bitter feelings thatll never fully pass but they have such potential to be genuinely good friends. To acknowledge each other fully and develop a mutual respect... ugh yeah
A NOTP I have with said character: uhhh any female character...? Hes canonically gay so. As for guys i dont think i like Corey and Theo as anything other than platonic. Also Scott and Corey just doesnt fit. Scott is their literal dad 🤷‍♂️
A random headcanon: i know its not like this in the show, since both Scott and Liam are able to find Corey when hes invisible, but i think he should really be able to disappear completely. I think when he turns invisible, his scent and his heartbeat should be totally indetectable to any supernatural too. Even supernaturals shouldn't be able to detect him!!
He also should use his ability way more and for anything, just in day to day life, just cause its fun. Through that he also learns tricks like only disappearing his head but not his body, scaring the absolute crap out of Liam the first time he does it. He also sometimes accidentally turns invisible when he's sleeping, and the whole McCall pack has spent at least one whole afternoon frantically searching for him all over when he was just curled up in the armchair in the corner of the room taking a good old nap.
General Opinion over said character: when I first watched the show i found him pretty plain and boring, mostly because I don't think they utilized him and his abilities enough. I have since read some great fics and reconstructed my own image of him and he's a great character!! So much potential to be such a fun character. He's such a little shit, and he's also really brave and a great friend. I like it when fic authors make him hold a grudge against Theo for longer too for example. It gives him a depth that I really like. He's not just this happy go lucky guy, especially not after the stuff he went through.

I have mixed feelings on g3 Jinafire that no one asked for.
@myaquarianconfessional because it's doll-related.
I sent my mom a birthday list thing, and she sent it to my dad. He got me several chocolates, Stardew Valley on Nintendo Switch, a Doom cup (I have never expressed interest in Doom), and a card that has a puppy that I have yet to read. I have several dolls on my list, including just generation 3 as a whole, and honestly, I wanna praise generation 3, for being so true to how I've seen my generation dress, that I've even had a few dolls remind me of people my age I wish I had never met ... I want those dolls, but do I wanna torture them, just have them as a fun collection of people, have them because I do actually think they're pretty, to mourn something hypothetical, or to reclaim the past? I keep changing my mind.
Those dolls include Frankie Stein (wave 2, according to me trying to search), and g3 Jinafire, and maybe a few more. Like, they just have the aesthetics of at least one person I've met, maybe more (per doll), and I was happy to see that I got Jinafire (somehow suspected it/predicted it - then again, I'm a scarily good predicter sometimes - no pun intended) - and I was happy to hold her, and liked her ... but she still reminds me of a person from the past (or two). Not the same country as the people I've met (probably because we're in Europe, LOL), not the same colors, etc, but the same over all vibe. Now, that Frankie doll (which I don't have but still want), reminds me of more people, who somehow makes it all hurt significantly more, but I'm still happy about that Jinafire, and still have one human Jinafire in my life ... except the ones I've met are both transmasc (one is a man, not sure about if the other one was an enby, boy, or enboy), so I have a new headcanon, and wonder how, when I'm gonna post my overly dramatic stuff about my Jinafire doll, how to alter her (but also I don't wanna damage her and still wanna keep the vibe - it's complicated), so that it's clear I'm talking about MY Jinafire (who also should preferably be re-named, also preferably in accordance to the styles of the two guys I knew, but also I do wanna keep at least a REFERENCE, like the original name, to Chinese culture, but also LOVE that pun thing, but ALSO I have a weird thing for making trans characters have names similar to their deadnames - maybe because I love names, which might be obvious based on what I name my characters when I'm having fun - anyways, trans name example thing I can think of, is "Ophelia" to "Amelica" - I mean, I HAD to use the pretty name "Ophelia" for SOMETHING, and I HAD to make it similar enough for some reason - there might be a reason that "Justice" then has no canon deadname nor canon last name, LOL) - but regardless, my point is, I do want a name for my doll and everything - by the way, people Jinafire reminds me of has a weird thing with not responding, being dramatic, not telling me SHIT, and also giving me some underlying unpleasant feeling that makes me kinda dislike myself, once they stop being genuinely nice and funny people that seem to actually care for you -
Over all, mixed feelings, advice appreciated.
Oh and also, will make headcanons later in life, and then probably post them.

Why I Headcanon J As A Trans Man: A DRDT Essay
As you know, I’ve made it absolutely no secret that I headcanon J as a trans man, as you can tell from the title alone. I’ve made at least 2 posts where I made reference to this (one being a joke post where I had J say “I want to be the first transmac absent father” and another saying “Someone give my man J some T and a binder”.) so this essay probably isn’t a shock to you especially since I made a post recently enough saying that I wanted to write an essay about this. However, I do want to delve into more detail on why I have this headcanon in the first place so I can show you my viewpoint since honestly as a trans man myself, I found J to be one of the most relatable characters. This isn’t meant to force you into having my headcanons, you can headcanon whatever you want even if it differs from me (Lesbian J Headcanoners I love you all so much, I love all the content you produce and please continue producing it, I hope your day is filled with your favorite hot drinks and treats and you get to play your favorite video game and watch your favorite show. You are doing the lord's work), but to me, that guy is a trans man and in this essay I’ll be explaining why. Note for the essay, for simplicity, I’ll be using they/them pronouns when referring to J. I usually use he/him when talking about my headcanon, and she/her when talking about them in canon, but I don’t want to confuse people. Especially since before then I didn't know exactly which pronouns TO use for J.
First bit of evidence, I guess we’ll start with their name. Okay this is probably an obvious piece of evidence that everyone expected, but even J themselves admit that they hate their birth name. First we see that they completely try to erase it from their door:
Tumblr media
Secondly, we have J straight up admitting it at the start of chapter two.
Tumblr media
Obviously hating your name doesn’t automatically mean you’re trans, hell not even every trans person hates their dead name (for example, I like mine), but you have to admit, it’s not inherently uncommon for a trans person TO hate their dead name as they feel like it doesn’t fit them. We see that J gave themselves a gender neutral nickname too instead of going by Julia (that is even mistaken as a guy's name by Xander in the prologue when he thinks their name is “Jay” as in the bird).
For my next bit of evidence: We also know J changed a lot about themselves to be happy, to the point where they became unrecognizable from “Julia Rosales”.
Tumblr media
And what sort of appearance does J decide to take up? When left to their own devices, what appearance does J decide to take?
Tumblr media
(Fun fact, this comment is the thing that makes J snap at Arturo, tells him that her mom sucks, and that she hates the name Julia).
Yes, I am aware just because you’re a tomboy doesn’t mean you’re a trans man. I should make that very clear, I do NOT headcanon J as trans just because they’re a tomboy in canon. We know they hate feminine things and femininity because of their mother, and how they were forced into the role of a perfect daughter. But we know even as a KID they hated girly things. If you want some proof, here’s some Kid Art that the creator themselves made.
Tumblr media
See how J is angry in that picture? How they were forced to look the way that they never wanted to look? That they were forced to be something they weren’t? That’s an experience that a lot of trans people have as well. We’re forced into the gender roles that we never wanted. People (usually our parents) have expectations for us that we can’t fill because we want to be ourselves and be happy for once. Even J themselves admitted they were forced into femininity their entire life by their overbearing mother.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As we can tell from these screenshots, basically their entire life J was forced into femininity by their mother. We can tell J resents her for it (well, they say it themself they hate their mom) and they resent the femininity that is forced upon them that it results in them hating feminine things in general (and girly girls). It gives her a “I’m Not Like Other Girls” attitude to the point where she straight up REFUSES TO BAKE because of her internalized misogyny. I'm not kidding by the way, for those who forgot: In chapter 1 Eden and Min mention that J refused to join them for baking just because she considered it too girly.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First of all J, what the fuck? It’s BAKING, that’s nowhere near the girliest thing you could do. It’s not like Eden’s gonna grab your hand and give you a manicure and pedicure when you’re WEIGHING INGREDIENTS OUT OR MIXING STUFF TOGETHER. Secondly, no, hating to bake does not mean you’re trans (Evidence: I am a trans man who bakes all the time. Hell it would probably be my DR Ultimate). I am simply using this to show just how bad J’s internalized misogyny got. He hates anything that looks “girly” even if it’s something as simple as baking. We also see throughout their bio that their least favourite colour is pink for "obvious reasons" and that they hate wearing dresses and anything "girly" and that they don't think any girly stuff is "cool".
Honestly, I hate to admit this, but J reminds me a lot of my younger self (I also got kinda pressured into femininity by society, albeit surprisingly my own mom was cool with me being a tomboy (I have my own mommy issues like J but at least I can give my mom that) but you’d be surprised how much the world can affect a kid). I am not generalizing all trans men like this, I’m well aware there are plenty who didn’t have a “Not Like Other Girls” phase, but you’d be surprised (or not) that most girls who did have that phase either end up being queer, neurodivergent or, in some cases, trans men (I ended up being all three). Believe me, I acted a lot like J back when I was 12-13 years old, constantly calling girly girls “bimbos”, thinking I was so much cooler for having guy friends and liking video games instead of makeup, and honestly I was just a huge dick back then, I would have also rejected anything SLIGHTLY “girly” like J did with baking. (Seriously when I first watched DRDT and saw that scene along with the Arei and J Free Time Event, my first thoughts were “Okay who let 12 year old me in here?”)
Luckily I’ve grown out of that mindset (Jenny, if you are somehow reading this I am so sorry I called you a bimbo about a billion times), though it started to tone down when I started exploring my own identity and then officially disappeared when I did realize I was a trans dude and I had all these thoughts because of how all this stuff was forced onto me (ironically after I realized I was trans, I became a lot more feminine). I’m not saying transitioning would help J, or that they’re trans just because they have a lot of internalized misogyny, but I don’t think it’s entirely wrong to say those two can be connected as well.
But yeah, someone let 12 year old me in here. Arei summed us both up in the Arei and J free time event:
Tumblr media
SPEAKING OF THE J AND AREI FREE TIME EVENT, OH BOY!
Evidence number three, THE J AND AREI FREE TIME EVENT.
I’ve got at least two scenes that I saw and went “Oh my God you are trans J.” so here they are:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I like how J doesn’t question the boy bit. Honestly I’d be the same if someone called me a “Cool and suave wannabe boy”. Or I’d get dysphoric and anxious if they meant “wannabe boy” as in “You’re a fake boy”. Although Arei does later clarify the “wannabe” bit is for the cool and suave.
But speaking of Arei calling them a boy:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know you may be thinking “Does that even prove anything?”. But honestly… yes. In my own experiences, I still get very flustered whenever I’m called a boy or when anyone uses male terms for me. And unlike J, quite a few people know I’m trans.
As an example of me getting flustered: Recently I was hanging out with my QPP and she said I was my moms son. You have no idea how flustered I got at that. It’s something I’m not used to. But I liked it. J’s reaction was honestly similar to my (internal) reaction. Also, they seem to be more denying at being flustered than being called a boy.
I know this isn't the universal experience for everyone, but when I saw J's reaction, I saw my reaction. How I felt when I was acknowledged as someone's son for the very first time.
Plus, as we’ve seen from previous screenshots, here we find out that J was forced into femininity by their mother and how they were raised before chapter 2 came along. Which I think a lot of trans men could relate too (not all of course).
There’s one more thing I want to point out, since I think I went over the main evidence on why I think J is trans, but this is something that honestly confirmed it for me and made me want to write this essay: Their hidden message.
As we know, all the characters have a hidden message on their profile pages. A lot of them have something to do with the characters (Example: Levi’s one is “I always believed that a person is defined by their actions alone. But maybe that’s just a poor excuse for my heartlessness.”, Min’s is “I wanted to save you.” and Charles’ is “If you forgot it, then it probably wasn’t important to begin with. None of those memories should ever be kept, anyway.” All of these hidden messages have something to do with the characters and what we learn about them in the story). And what could J’s hidden message possibly be?
“Please don’t call me your daughter ever again.”
Now I’ll be honest, this could mean anything. For all we know, this could mean that J doesn’t want to be associated with Mariabella at all, be her kid, anything. But from the way it’s worded, I honestly believe the daughter bit is the important bit.
There were so many ways to phrase that sentence, “I don’t want to be related to you”, “I’m not your kid”, or something. But the way they picked this particular sentence and worded it… Could J just not want to be her kid… or maybe they just don’t want to be her DAUGHTER?
Maybe instead, they want to be seen as her son? If they choose to be associated with her at all (Which if they don’t I don’t blame them).
Honestly this is just my own interpretation of everything, and it’s okay if you disagree or have a different headcanon from me. But as a trans man myself, I found J to be one of the most relatable characters in the cast with both my younger self (dealing with internalized misogyny, being pressured into femininity at a young age, mommy issues, etc) and my current self (being flustered at being called a boy, not wanting to be called a daughter, going by a name that isn’t a birth name, mommy issues, etc).
That was my essay on J, and I hope you enjoyed reading it and seeing my perspective! Have a good day 🙂
