So my game is in French, but I roll with the English voices. And just… can you guess what Acrokopis is? It’s a city, it’s in Amphoreus and it gave me the biggest headache to understand what the fuck was going on with the name.

Acrokopis is no other than Castrum Kremnos. Okhema is still Okhema in French. So you can understand the mental gymnastic I had to do to understand why on earth every single voice actor pronounced that damned place with a burning hot potato inside of their mouths…

So anyway, figured it out while watching one of Toodles (Phainon’s VA) playthrough on Youtube and actually saw the name of the city written.

wonder what would happen if i stuck all my hunters in a room. there’s four and a half of them

ouroboros (who was rezzed as a hunter but ended up a warlock) is trying desperately to leave the room (he does not want to be here)

trailblaze is making sure he is on the Complete Opposite Side of the room as virtue. everyone’s (mostly) trying to stay away from virtue, but him in particular. on occasion his ghost has to stop him from picking a fight with them

virtue themself is trying not to unravel completely at being put in a room with people who hate her (bitch got turned Into Strand)

lu’a (who started off as a joke hunter who uses the Crab Claw who i made into an actual character) is the only one who’s trying to make conversation with virtue. hell, she’s trying to make conversation with everyone. people to talk to!

and daedalus is just. there. it’s very interested in Everything that’s happening, but people are understandably wary around a sol divisive vex so its just sitting and people-watching. if it talks to anyone its pestering ouroboros about talos (its friend/platonic partner*? hobgoblin)

Why do I get the feeling TM-exclusive Chilling Water and Trailblaze were intended as foreshadowing to Walking Wake and Iron Leaves. An interesting thing to note is the fact that the only other Paradox Pokémon that can learn Chilling Water is Iron Bundle, a Future Paradox Pokémon and the only other Paradox Pokémon that can learn Trailblaze are Brute Bonnet and Slither Wing, Past Paradox Pokémon

In other news, now that I’ve had a chance to look at their base stats a bit, I think it’s cool to notice that despite being special-oriented, Walking Wake’s Defense stat (91) is higher than its Special Defense stat (83) and despite being physical-oriented, Iron Leaves’s Special Defense (108) is higher than its Defense stat (88)
