That time of year again! I've got four trail cameras set up around my place at the moment (hoping to get some more soon!) and there are a TON of bucks hanging around this year. At least twenty different individuals. Big dudes, little dudes, wonky dudes, old dudes, dudes with one antler—just a bunch of guys being dudes!

This curious lion in South Africa knows the importance of remote cameras and how they are vital for conservation efforts. With thousands set up around the world, these cameras help us conduct long-term studies on species like clouded leopards in Malaysia, tigers in Thailand, jaguars in Costa Rica and lions across Senegal.

Just letting you guys know I agree with you all 100%. Vessel is so some little creature puffing himself up to look bigger and ii is just looking for a hole to hide in because he's shedding (peeled) or something. My favourite little crypids :D

Checked my trail cameras again today and RIP to whoever's poor chicken that was. Three big yotes checking out the pumpkins last night too.

One of the bobcats is back!!

I haven't gotten any photos of bobcats since my neighbor on the far side of the creek from me had a ton of the woods on his property severely logged in 2022. I was afraid that had scared them off but I'm so glad at least one is still around <3
