Sometimes I see people hc that Miguel keeps some of Gabriella’s toys and clothes and looks at them when he’s upset, or that he can only sleep when he has her stuffed toys nearby, but I think it hurts more that he probably doesn’t have anything left of her.

He saw her disappearing in his arms, her whole universe glitching away into nothingness. Even if he was able to keep any of her things, they would probably glitch out of existence too.

The only things he has left are his memories and home videos he has watched so often they are burned into his monitors.
