Can you summarize how the Stanley Parable is toxic yaoi without spoiling anything?

hmmm. probably not very well, but the basic rundown you need is as such:

the stanley parable is called a Parable because the story represents and expresses an important lesson or principle. in this case, the principle taught regards the concept of the self and the other, and how they naturally reject each other and embrace each other at the same time out of necessity. this is represented by the two characters in the game (or at least the only 2 who aren't just accessories of a single ending), Stanley, and the Narrator. Stanley is the silent protagonist (i believe he represents the Other), and does not speak. the Narrator is the narrator (i believe he represents the Self), and does not exist physically.

so, to summarize the yaoi:

the self and the other need one-another to exist. neither can define themselves without their counterpart to define themselves against-- but they are necessarily opposed to each other. the narrator's purpose is to describe the events of the story, and thus the Narrator yearns for complete power and strict organization. the protagonist's purpose is to create change in the narrative, and thus Stanley yearns for autonomy. freedom vs control. chaos vs order. yin and yang, you get it.

and the game is just them interacting in different ways! you get to watch the self and the other reject each other and yearn for each other expressed through the EXTREMELY talented Kevan Brighting's narration, obsessively crafted level design by a skilled team of artists, and tightly written poignant* (* some of it's poignancy might be lost because of how influential this game was, see the end of this post for more of an explanation) script.

to keep it short (which i think is different from summarizing but still useful):

you know Chell and Glad0s, and how that's doomed-narrative toxic yuri? it's pretty much universally agreed upon by everyone who's played both that that's the same shit that Stanley and the Narrator have going on, but the doom is just Yaoi flavored.

☠️ Mona didn’t think much of Tina when she first laid eyes on her, she was just another piece of meat to be used in her art, what really made her fall in love with Tina was when she heard her scream. She heard so many screams before her and always took twisted pleasure in hearing the screams of her victims but Tina’s screams just hit different, it was like a beautiful song to her and she wanted to hear it forever. Ironically, Tina’s screaming was what saved her life because it made Mona do what she never did with any of her victims… she hesitated in killing her. Mona would have many lesbian thoughts about Tina since that fateful day, she often wondered how soft her hair must be and how much she yearned to smell the perfume on her body again.

☠️ Mona became completely obsessed with Tina after hearing that beautiful scream of her’s and would end up stalking her for the next two years, memorizing her schedule, occasionally stealing her belongings but she didn’t make a move on her until after watching her interview. Mona took Tina’s “once you’ve been to hell, you don’t come back” quote as a sign that Tina wanted to come back to her, like a piece of her was still with Mona since that day and she was beckoning Mona to take her back… It was the most romantic thing Mona has ever heard in her life.

☠️ Mona actually tries to make sure Tina is as comfortable as possible. She took her beautiful, bloodstained lace bedsheets with her to put over the dirty mattress she has Tina placed on, she actually cooks her food even if they don’t turn out right most of the time, she’ll cuddle up with her if she looks like she’s cold, she’ll check to see if the pretty pink collar she picked out for her isn’t too tight, she even bathes her semi-frequently.

☠️ Tina is constantly trying to fight off the warm, fuzzy feelings that Mona gives her. She doesn’t want to admit how much she melts when Mona touches her thigh, she hates how good she feels when Mona says things like “you inspire me so much” and “you’re so pretty when you cry”, she finds herself actually blushing when Mona compliments her. Every day is an inner war to stop herself from falling in love with the woman who killed everyone around her, dismembered her and now keeps her hostage in what looks and smells like a lived in sewer.

☠️ Tina hates herself for finding Mona so pretty, she’s a monster, one who killed her sister, her boyfriend and her mother, mutilated her, keeping her alive just to treat her like some kind of toy or pet… and yet she thinks her long, black hair is so pretty, her eyes so beautifully haunting, the expressions she makes when she paints those horrible portraits are strangely charming, that course yet oddly soothing voice that makes her feel a strange combo of fear and comfort. She just can’t keep Mona out of her head and she hates it.

☠️ Mona loves to doll up Tina, dressing her up in pretty outfits and doing her makeup, trying out different hairstyles, she would even do her nails if she still had hands. Tina hates this but she’s learned not to fight back, having come to fear making Mona angry and besides, every day, against her better judgement she likes Mona’s games of dress up a tiny bit more. Mona knows this too, remembering the time when Tina blushed after Mona said she had good fashion sense.

☠️ Mona and Tina surprisingly have a lot of common. They both have a major sweet tooth, they both have a love for nature even though Tina is a deer girl and flower enjoyer while Mona is a rat and bug lady who collects molds, spores and fungus, they both have artistic talent and an interest in the arts (Tina being a knitter and sewer) and they even have a shared quirk in a tendency to play around with their hair when bored or anxious.

☠️ Tina is bisexual but she’s kept her sexuality a secret from her mother since she’s a conservative christian type and she feared she wouldn’t accept her if she found out, Jack and Flora both knew however. It can be surmised that Mona is pan since she has a very “a hole is a hole” mentality when it comes to sex but she wouldn’t identify as pansexual since she doesn’t really care for labels.

☠️ Shockingly, Mona hasn’t gone too far in forcing herself upon Tina. She could easily subject her to her darkest, sexual fantasies like she has done to so many others and you better believe she’s had some real devious thoughts and yet the worst she’s done to her is groping/squeezing her breasts and thighs on a regular basis or licking her face. Tina of course is horrified and disgusted by these acts and yet… why does her face and nethers feel so warm when she does it? And why does she whimper and mew the way she does when Mona bites her neck and shoulders even when she draws blood? And why does she always kind of look forward to when Mona cuddles up to her even when she’s soaking in blood?…

☠️ Bill is VERY jealous of all the attention Tina gets from Mona and is always thinking about murdering and getting rid of her so that he can be Mona’s “favorite” again but has enough smarts left to know that he would be severely punished, maybe even killed if he did so he has no choice but to grit and bare it. His patience will always be tested when Mona talks about her while they’re out murdering like when Mona finds some kind of accessory or article of clothing and will ask Bill “do you think Tina would like this?”. Bill will scare the shit out of Tina when Mona isn’t around in a vain attempt at revenge against her.

It’s pointless. A waste of time. A waste of emotion. And i’m definitely done with it.

My last lover cheated on me with a girl at some random party, and my first love ghosted me without any warning. That one a lot hurt because we were doing so well and I still saw them around town (and because they were my very first). The rest in between have been horrible blurs of toxicity and boredom.

Was love always this bad? No. It used to be magical, something I yearned for. Feeling loved, and loving others is something everyone should experience. But is it all we need? Once again, no! I’m free to love myself, do things how I want to, and enjoy everything by mysel-

“Oh my gosh- I’m so sorry, let me pick these up for you.” I bumped into someone in the hall and ended up slammed against the floor. My books and other school materials were scattered all across. People slowly walked by, and made the awkward move of bending to help but then walking away. I groaned quietly, and started picking them up myself. “It’s okay, I should've paid more attention.” I mumbled.

I looked up and saw a gentle hand extend towards me. I grabbed it, and instead of pulling myself up, another hand gingerly came to my back to help pull me up. That’s when I saw him. He had rose gold specs on, he was dressed better than some runway models, he had on cologne which smelt citrusy, and musky. He had concerned eyes, and a soft smile.

“Are you sure you’re all right? I didn’t mean to hurt you.” The man nervously chuckled as his hands retracted from me. I blinked a few times in awe before responding, “Oh no, i’m not hurt at all! Please, don’t worry about it.”

He raised an eyebrow in suspicion, but nodded his head in understanding. “Okay, I’ll trust you on that.” He bent down to retrieve the last of my items before handing them to me. He stopped once he took notice of a certain item. It was a guitar pick, a miscellaneous object I had left in my pocket. But it happened to catch his interest.

“You play the guitar?” He asked a small smile of intrigue, and he looked up from the pick, his head still tilted downwards.

“Yeah.” I nodded quickly, trying to ignore the way he was looking at me. “The acoustic one.” I clarified.

This man was gorgeous.

He nodded, pulling his fingers away from my stuff, and readjusting his specs carefully. “I do too. I’ve also tried out the electric guitar. “I started last year, and it’s become my new favorite hobby.” He suddenly started speaking at a rapid pace. “Did you know that acoustic guitars date back about 3000, to 3500 years from now? The first guitars are thought to have been found in Spain, but i’ve also seen some sources say they could even be traced back to Mesopotamia! Isn’t that crazy?”

I looked at him with slightly wide eyes. He seemed to have a lot of junky knowledge on things.

Not that I wasn’t interested…

“Oh, I didn’t know that. I’ve never got into the history of guitars before.” I laughed sheepishly.

“I’m still learning the chords, and how to play some songs. I think that’s all the information I can store right now.”

He simply laughed in understanding. “Yeah I get that. I’m probably the odd one for knowing about the history of guitars. My friends say so at least-Damn that guy Sunghoon-,” he muttered the last part to himself.

I smiled to myself.

“Anyway I don’t want to keep you standing here any longer, sorry for bumping into you.” He raised his hand apologetically, and started walking off again. He seemed busy, which would explain why he was in a rush running down the hall.

But midway, he stopped and jogged up to me again.

“This might seem weird, but i’m in a small band. We’re playing in the garage of one of my band mates, and I was wondering— would you want to come and see me play?” He asked, with a lightly scrunched up face, and a tight smile. Almost as if he expected me to say ‘no’.

“Yeah sure.” I said instead.

His face relaxed, and he pulled out a piece of paper and pen from his bag. He wrote a few things down and handed it to me.

“Alright, i’ll see you there! It was nice meeting you…”

I straightened the piece of paper and read its contents.

It contained the address of his band mate’s house, his phone number, and a small message

hi thank you for asking i love to talk about fics i read. im so sorry you didn't specify a fandom so i'm going to talk about everything i favorited this year so far lol. i am currently reading this cherik fic called exit wounds by lemonadegarden and i cannot stress enough how good it is. the worldbuilding, the politics, the characters, the storytelling, the emotions, just so so good. please read it if you are a cherik liker. i love it. i haven't finished it yet but omg. not in any particular order

the patch of sand where we buried the dog by shroomyystar: this fic is about luna and erik running into each other and getting ice cream. it should be normal but it's magneto family you know it's fucking insane. you don't even understand the luna and erik brainrot i gained from reading this i was like oh my god his granddaughter.. magnificent character work. to me the magneto family in comics have such a special specific dynamic and it's so well nailed here. it's crazy

make the fire rise by frozencinders: alright i don't go to baldur's gate 3 but i know enough about wyll and astarion and i really like this author so i might as well read their wyllstarion do you feel me. it's about yearning and romance novels and vampires and everything u could ever ask for. i loved it sm. one of my favorite things about this is the narration, like the way the thoughts flow so easily while keeping in beat with the character voice and making u feel so earnest..... gorgeous.......

what's the point in playin' a game you're gonna lose by shroomyystar: raven/irene in regard to the x-men blue origins revelation. raven being so fucking mad at irene but also so deeply in love with her to the point it's the same thing. when i say toxic yuri this is exactly what i mean it's exactly raven trying to kill her and thinking it's like having sex. that's EXACTLY what i mean.

gravity felled the apple (but the spiders stuck around) by maroonmusings: insomniac spider-man 2, peter gets to keep the teaching job and everyone thinks he has a favorite student (miles) which creates some drama until they figure it out a little too well. it's so fucking good. when i read peter parker, i want him to sound exactly like this. the character voices.. the non-canon characters perfectly fitting in this... the entire spider-man cast playing very well in this fic.. THE DIALOGUE! writing peter is such an art but this person GETS it.

taste the way that you bleed by maroonmusings: peter parker/astarion based on that one time they made a joke about it. again i don't go to bg3 but fantastic character work, it's literally so in character it totally sold me on this pairing - not that i need much convincing for crackships. that's just who i am brother.i fucking loved this so much.

Some Catching Up to Do by magicasen: jean/wanda! jean/wanda set in x-men first class. it's so fucking good and funny, it feels incredibly in character to the xmfc versions of them. it's such a feel-good fic about them in that period of time too, and pietro's cameos were too fucking funny. i love girls being girls and being in love :(

lech lecha by ferriswheelsdayoff: hosea matthews character analysis it will blow your tits off. i'm still floored by the amount of work into each line and how it's connected to real world teachings and how it manages to weave all of hosea's important relationships while analyzing him too. saur good

take what you give me by magentateam_bplot: storm/magneto. THIS is the sub erik type of shit i enjoy. magnificent characterization of both of them i could easily read 9k of it 1k was too little!!!

Girls' Nights by EmilyArmadillo: gabby bonding with vault laura!!!!!!! I THOUGHT THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD IDEA like i wish we actually had gabby's reaction to talon? i mean ofc that's asking too much from duggan, or for duggan to care, but this person delivered so well. everything was so well implemented, even the bit where the other laura kinney sees her and leaves the room. ahhh so good

Graveside by NotesFromSarah: the aftermath of erik burying anya after the fire, and then him and the twins coming together to visit her burial place. i thought this was amazing and heartbreaking and also a very groundbreaking magneto fam style for me..... not a lot of fics focused on them during the 80s, which is a good place for them to be somewhat normal around each other, and this fic does such a good job of using tragedy to join them without disregarding their past. gorgeoussss

Last Chance by Lefaym: my notes on this says 'old man sex heart hands' and it's exactly that. doomed timeline cherik from dofp have such a special heart to me even if i don't go much to moviesparts as i did before and oh my god... it's about that longing that regret that they're running out of time and also your hip being sore so you can't really hold a sex position. i love it.

Speed of Silence, Sound of Silence by neverminetohold: x-men evolution pietro & erik. something goes wrong and pietro thinks he's going to be scolded, but erik doesn't scold him. 'His quickening stride screams of his wish to escape this moment that is as far removed from a lecture as it can get.

That defines their relationship in a nutshell. Will they never be able to move beyond this?' you don't even get it im insane. im insane. im insane

chatoyant by unsungillumination: this fic is the best use of the fake dating trope that's ever existed, probably because the main protagonists of this are light and L death note. L and Light get in a relationship for strategic reasons until light gives up the death note, forgetting it is strategic, and believes it's actually real. it's so fucking good. also devastating

Drive. by MissAmyShay: the bear fic. insane. carmy and richie reconciliation, nat and richie flashback to when mikey was first declared dead, nat richie bonding, nat giving birth, donna mentions. what else could i even ask for. it's amazing. i don't even need to read any other fics

telltale by unsungillumination: L haunts light after his death. it's literally ruining light's life. this is my favorite thing in the world i love a good fic about grief and about fucked up soulmates who are not soulmates in a traditional way. i recently finished death note after leaving it on standby for a decade and i'm thriving

This Is How I Disappear by TzviaAriella: kira gets found out. he gets sentenced to death row. he asks the task force to shoot him. it's literally the most haunting fic in the world and i'm so so so so obsessed with it i kinda wanna reread it but it's like devastating and most of all GOOD

they both die at the end by unsungillumination: when i say i love fics that make me feel at odds with my own mortality and how i am spending my life and also grief for the future and grief for things past and grief, in the actual sense of death, ohhh. oh my god. what kills me is that this fic is just so grounded as well. you know the ending is coming. you just hang onto the little moments hoping MAYBE it won't happen, but you know. i loved it so bad. also this is a death note fic again

Connect the Dots by GrayJay: SCOTT SUMMERS ASKS MATT MURDOCK OF DAREDEVIL FAME TO BE A TEACHER AT THE SCHOOL AND THEY BOND OVER HOW SIMILAR THEIR DISABILITIES ARE it's ltierally so godo it's insane i love my favorite characters talking so much :(

the thirty-second hour by unsungillumination: this fic is about light yagami not being able to lie for 4 hours in each day, but it happens at random times, as a consequence of regaining his memories of the death note. it's inspired by i found you in the fire by yosgay which is ALSO one of my favorite fics even if it's not from my current 2024 reads but it IS TO ME. anyway. point is a character like light being forced to tell the truth is amazing. the layers of performance and what truth even means being analyzed through light's own eyes... mmmwah..

Tough Love by UmbrellaMartialGod: haikyuu fic. suga/tsukki. i was like no one in this world understands my fucked up haikyuu dynamic ship in which tsukki has a life-ruining unrequited crush on suga that no one else knows about except yamaguchi EXCEPT THIS PERSON!!!!!!!! What made you ship it?

The way Kathryn looks at Seven like she's going to eat her and the toxic yuri vibes ❤️ Also the way Kathryn is ready to do the most fucked up shit to keep Seven safe (or just keep seven) love to watch my girl destroy a Timeline

What are your favorite things about the ship?

I love just how weird the dynamic could be/is. Kathryn 'created' Seven and there's so much weird 'loving a god' vibes going on if you know what I mean? And I personally like ships with complicated (sometimes toxic) dynamics. There's just so much going on there? Also, I've unfortunately been deeply in love with a professor of mine for a good year and a half (i know guys.... it's upsetting to me too), and the way I characterize Seven in J7 is sort of that kind of yearning, loving someone who can't really love you back the same way because of the power difference? That's not quite coherent, but I hope you get what I mean.

I just like doomed toxic, co-dependent love stories, especially because i truly believe both of them genuinely care for the other, and also if they got together during the Voyager timeline it would be a terrible burning car of a relationship. I could see with some growth from both of them, a future where they could meet again and it could be good, but I think especially Seven would need lots of time away from Kathryn to be able to find out who she is on her own terms without Kathryn trying to mold her in her image. And Kathryn would need time to learn how to connect to people who she isn't the captain of after the years on Voyager. Also I'm a sucker for reunion after a long time away tropes ngl

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

I mean I think my opinion that their relationship wouldn't be healthy in the Voyager era is probably not the most healthy? NGL most of the relationships on Voyager wouldn't be healthy simply because of all the circumstances and the fact they're all batshit insane, but that doesn't mean i don't ship it!

What made you ship it?

Honestly I hadn't even thought about it as a possibility when I did my initial watch of the show. I think it's because I was a very focused B'elanna x Janeway or Janeway x Seven shipper, so I was more focused on their interactions. However, when I joined tumblr and saw all the content people had made about them, it grew on me. Especially once I started recognizing the parallels between them.

7: So like everyone talks about the Curtis brothers, the Dally/Johnny/Trio, the gang, Randy and Pony, etc. And I adore those relationships but I wanna talk about one less talked about.

I fucking love whatever the fuck Bob and Johnny have going on.

Bob and Johnny, despite not exchanging a word, are so compelling due to their past and this tension that surrounds them. Despite one appearing in one scene, Bob continues to haunt the narrative, his presence never disappears, especially for Johnny.

For Johnny, Bob was the physical manifestation of his abuse, someone who hurt him more than anyone ever had, and this causes Johnny to decide that he would kill before he got hurt again (not like a proper intention but just lurking at the edge, enough to make him capable of what no other character is).

For Bob, Johnny ends up being the executor of the consequences he had always needed, but never got as his parents refused to set limits for him. They are so intertwined ugh (actually you can make an argument Cherry/Bob/Johnny/Dally are all intertwined but that’s a topic for another day)

Johnny is gay and demisexual. For the longest time, he believed himself to be unable to feel romantic love (it didn’t bother him tho).

Sodapop learned some basic first aid from his mother and is the gang’s go-to as they can’t afford to go to the hospital after getting any scrapes. He also is good at taking care of someone when they’re sick

Dally has a chunk of one of his ears missing and stories as to how it happened vary. Two says it’s because Dally got into a fight with a street dog. Tim swears that Dally told him it’s nasty story involving a pipe and a car accident. Pony has several different stories of how he imagined it could’ve happened

Half of the greasers don’t even like Elvis that much (they don’t dislike his music and some songs are catchy but it’s nit their fave), they just listen because it’s considered cool

Johnny takes after his mom in appearance (canonically) and personality but has his dad’s eyes. He seems to not take after either of them in personal due to his meekness, but in some ways, he’s more similar to them than he’s comfortable being. And yet he is not because he chooses to not pass on the hurt his parents gave him

16. I love some more gang interactions in general. Two and Dally have always felt like besties to me so I wish we saw more of them. There was no way to fit in Cherry and Johnny interactions but I still yearn for them

1. Catra and Adora (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power)

These two are everything to me. Best friends to enemies to lovers. The way the show mostly revolves around them as characters and what they mean to each other. The way they loved each other in an environment not made for love and now finally have a chance to be with each other the way they always wanted too. They are everything I want in a ship and their haters are so boring and tasteless

2. Eve and Villanelle (Killing Eve)

Enemies to lovers excellence and my first introduction to toxic yuri. These two really could have been the ship of dreams for me and I’ll forever be angry that they were in the hands of a homophobic straight woman that fucked everything up in the end. (Sally Woodward Gentle my disdain for you has no limits). That said, I still love them. Such an excellent dynamic. They deserved better.

3. Ian and Mickey (Shameless US)

The only m/m ship I really go hard for tbh. (I’m very female character oriented usually so getting me invested in a dynamic that doesn’t have a woman in it can be very difficult). But the fact that I love these two as much as I do just shows they are superior. Kings of angst that finally after years got their happy ending.

4. Max and Chloe (Life is Strange)

One of my first big wlw ships and I still have so much love and fondness for them. I do enjoy Chloe/Rachel too and all their tragic messiness. But something about Chloe/Max just seems so soulmate like to me. So yeah…I do have a preference and it’s them.

5. Ead and Sabran (Priory of the Orange Tree)

Book ship so I’m not including a gif. These two are my favorite literary lgbt ship ever. The yearning. The forbidden love. The Pride and Prejudice vibes. The slow-burn. If you’re a wlw who loves fantasy, I highly recommend reading this book. It has asoiaf vibes but without the misogyny and pedo propaganda.

6. Max and Eleanor (Black Sails)

Ugh the tragedy of these two. The messy fallout of their breakup. Their chemistry was 🔥 and while I understand why their relationship fell out, I wish we had gotten to see more of it. They’re also both my favorite characters on the show so there’s that

While I have my Max/Eleanor bias I do acknowledge that these two are objectively the best romance on the show. Also served some great angst and are about two women who are SA survivors at the hands of men coming together and falling in love.

8. Gideon and Harrow (The Locked Tomb series)

Another book ship so no gif. These two genuinely make me insane. Very twisted enemies to lovers. They are insane for each other even more than I’m insane for them. The books aren’t for everyone but I really do recommend giving them a try if you like unhinged and problematic sapphics.

9. Rue and Jules (Euphoria)

Mostly for their S1 dynamic because I haaate what Sam Levinson did to them in S2. Imagine having a wlw couple with this much chemistry and fumbling it so bad? Truly loser behavior. That said, I still hold fondness for them and what they could have been.

10. David and Patrick (Schitt’s Creek)

Alright, I’ll include another m/m ship 😂 These two are a great example of how a ship can be healthy but not boring at the same time. Patrick’s coming out episode and how David reacted to him being closeted is also probably my favorite coming out storyline ever.

You looked down at the paper in your hand. You couldn’t believe it you got accepted into the biggest university in Korea. You remember you were so excited to tell Jimin about your application but now you couldn’t share the happiest moment. You felt proud of yourself it was hard to get into the school but you manage to get accepted. Maybe this was your new beginning to be happy.

The day had finally arrived and you got ready for your first day at school. You were excited and nervous but mostly happy. You made your way around the campus trying to figure out your schedule. When somebody bump into you.

“Seriously you again!” You remember that voice like it was just yesterday it was screaming at you at the park.

“I’m sorry but you bumped into me” you told him in a quite voice. “Did I fucking ask you?” He stepped closer to you.

You looked down at your hands scared to say anything else. You didn’t want a repeat of last time.

“You know you still owe me for ruining my jacket last time” He was standing so close to you that you could feel his breath on your face.

“I’ll pay you for the dry cleaning” you tried stepping away but we’re stuck between the wall and his body.

You were desperate to stop hurting, to stop yearning for Jimin to come back and tell you he loves you. You were tired of crying yourself to sleep at night because all you could think about was how Jimin was kissing and doing everything he did with you with her.

“Okay” You whispered.

“Let’s go the boys are waiting and I hate being late” he said closing your locker before you could finish and pulling you away rather harshly.

You saw Yuri talking on the phone, while having a huge smile on her face. You saw her jump from joy and that’s when you saw him. Waiting for her at the end of the gate. He looked so happy to see her. You felt your heart breaking you didn’t think it could break anymore than it already was. You missed him terribly and seeing him happy was just so heartbreaking.

“Hey stupid! I’m talking to you!” You heard Jake said smacking you on the head.

“I’m sorry. I was lost in thought”

“I honestly don’t know what could you possible be thinking about. You seem pretty stupid to me” Jake didn’t care about your feelings and to be honest with everything going on you felt like you deserved it for not being good enough. This is the only type of relationship you deserved to be in.

You couldn’t stop looking at Jimin and Yuri. You had to admit they were perfect for each other. Yuri was beautiful from head to toe, she was kind and had a wonderful personality. She was the perfect fit for Jimin. You loved everything about Jimin. Jimin was a whole package deal, he had an amazing personality, the cutest smile, he was drop dead handsome. He was an amazing dancer and singer. You couldn’t think of anything wrong with him. He was perfect and you could tell so was Yuri.

When you started dating Jimin it surprised you that a guy like him would even give you a chance. You were so normal so boring, why would he would give you the time of day. But Jimin proved to you that you were enough even if at the end you ended up getting hurt. You sigh getting pulled out of your thoughts when Jake and his friends laughed about something you were clearly not paying attention too. But their loud laughs grabbed the attention of the people walking by even Jimin.

You quickly looked away when you saw Jimin give you a confused look. “Hey babe, lets get out of here. What do you say we go back to your place?” Jake said pulling you harshly by your wrist. You could already feel a bruise coming.

“Oh umm maybe another time. I have tons of homework and I want to get it done before tomorrow” You lied. You didn’t want to risk being alone with him.

“Oh come on baby! Maybe I can help you with some of that homework.”

“No really It’s okay.” You said trying to get out of his hold.

“Maybe you didn’t understand what I’m trying to say. But I’m coming over to help you with your homework” Jake said with through his gritted teeth.

“Oh okay” you felt the pain in your wrist. Trying to mask the pain but failed miserably. Jake said goodbye to his friends and start walking towards his car you following like a lost puppy behind him.

You noticed Jimin was still staring at you, you quickly looked down at your feet and walked faster.

Jimin recognized the guy, he couldn’t forget the face of the low life who dare put hands on a woman, nether less you. But his couldn’t stop thinking why you were with him in the first place. He was pulled out of his thought when Yuri called out for him starting to walk away towards his car but not before sparing you a second glance. You face had some many emotions but the one that stood out the most was sadness.

You were back in your apartment, instead of doing homework Jake had other plans. You were in the shower trying to scrub off his scent, his touch everything out of your body. He was nowhere near as gentle as Jimin. Jimin was soft and gentle unless you wanted otherwise while Jake was rough and only care about himself not giving you the attention your body needed.

After what felt like hours your got out of the shower and just threw on one of Jimin’s old shirt that he left behind. It still smelled like him, hugging yourself feeling safe.

You stared at the wall infront of you wondering what you did to deserve this. Why couldn’t you be happy? You kept thinking of everything that was wrong with you. That is why Jimin left you.

That was all that was going through your mind.

The doorbell went off pulling you out of your thoughts. Walking rather slowly towards the door you opened it not bothering to ask who it was. What else could go wrong that night.

You were shocked to see a very out of breath Jimin on the other side of the door.

“Jimin what are you doing here?” You questioned.

Jimin took a while to answer you taking in how you looked. He noticed the bruises on your neck and your arms. He felt angry but only because he still cared about you... right?

    You quickly looked away when you saw Jimin give you a confused look. 

    “Hey babe, lets get out of here. What do you say we go back to your place?” Jake said pulling you harshly by your wrist. You could already feel a bruise coming.

    “Oh, umm maybe another time. I have tons of homework and I want to get it done before tomorrow” You lied. You didn’t want to risk being alone with him.

    “Oh, come on baby! Maybe I can help you with some of that homework.”

    “No really It’s okay.” You said trying to get out of his hold.

    “Maybe you didn’t understand what I’m trying to say. But I’m coming over to help you with your homework” Jake said with through his gritted teeth.

    “Oh okay” you felt the pain in your wrist. Trying to mask the pain but failed miserably. Jake said goodbye to his friends and start walking towards his car, you following like a lost puppy behind him.

    You noticed Jimin was still staring at you, you quickly looked down at your feet and walked faster.

    Jimin recognized the guy, he couldn’t forget the face of the low life who dare put hands on a woman, nether less you. But he couldn’t stop thinking why you were with him in the first place. He was pulled out of his thought when Yuri called out for him starting to walk away towards his car but not before sparing you a second glance. You face had some many emotions but the one that stood out the most was sadness.

    You were back in your apartment, instead of doing homework Jake had other plans. You were in the shower trying to scrub off his scent, his touch everything out of your body. He was nowhere near as gentle as Jimin. Jimin was soft and gentle unless you wanted otherwise while Jake was rough and only care about himself not giving you the attention your body needed.

    After what felt like hours your got out of the shower and just threw on one of Jimin’s old shirt that he left behind. It still smelled like him, hugging yourself feeling safe.

    You stared at the wall in front of you wondering what you did to deserve this. Why couldn’t you be happy? You kept thinking of everything that was wrong with you. That is why Jimin left you.

That was all that was going through your mind.

    The doorbell went off pulling you out of your thoughts. Walking rather slowly towards the door you opened it not bothering to ask who it was. What else could go wrong that night.

You were shocked to see a very out of breath Jimin on the other side of the door.

“Jimin what are you doing here?” You questioned.

    Jimin took a while to answer you taking in how you looked. He noticed the bruises on your neck and your arms. He felt angry but only because he still cared about you… right?

“Can I come in?”

    “Oh, umm sure.” You moved away from the door to let him in closing it behind him. Making your way towards the living room. Sitting down on the couch him following your steps. This brought you back memories and not the good ones.

“Why are you here?” You asked.

    “Why were you with that guy? Wasn’t he the same guy you bumped into at the park?” Jimin asked giving you a confused look.

    “Oh jake? Yea he is umm my boyfriend?” You said looking down at your hands to scared to see Jimin’s reaction.

“I’m sorry Your what?” He almost yelled.
