I just saw someone in Bad’s chat say something along the lines of “Bad shouldn’t make grammar jokes because people are trying to learn the language” in reference to an argument between Bad and the Ghosties about the difference between “your” and “you’re.” I have to disagree with this because Bad’s native language is English. His streams aren’t solely for the purpose of learning English. Yes, Bad is very accommodating when it comes to people who speak other languages but he’s allowed to make jokes about or in his own language/culture. This also makes me think of when Bad called some of the other CCs “uncultured.” In English, you call someone “uncultured” when they don’t know/like something that is your favorite. It doesn’t even have to be something popular. Someone could call you uncultured as a joke for not knowing a super obscure game. My question for the people who criticize Bad for this would be, would you ask this in a CCs chat who doesn’t speak English? Or, hell, would you ask this in another English CCs chat? Or are you just looking for an excuse to hate on Bad? Anyway, end of rant.
