Having DSMP S2 Brainrot right now, so why not
Imagine if Callahan just tells everyone about what happened and they don't even believe him, but the story progresses and they start to realize it makes sense and start talking with Callahan in secret to try and understand what happened
Imagine it's just a repeat of S1 and we get Dream's POV this season
Imagine Wilbur comes back from Utah and is just like 😶😶 WHAT IN THE ABSOLUTE FU-
What if the Nuke wiped Phil's only canon life
What if Charlie wasn't affected and is rebuilding himself, and doesn't know why everyone is acting so weird but tries to make them remember what happened
Imagine Dream gets another horse and names it Spirit, only for it to die
Imagine Dream and Tommy become the Tommy and Tubbo of S2
What if Jack comes back into S2 as part robot
What if XD isn't the God of the server anymore
Did TOTSMP have insight to the events of S2, or prior timelines and how the other servers fell
The egg is most likely going to be in S2, but who is it going to infect first, if anybody.
Who's SMP is it really now that the server reset, because Dream seemed to have no recollection of where he was or what was happening during the sneak peek of S2.
Also, think about the fact that XD probably remembers what just happened and is like "This is fine, ANYWAYS-"
Jack never really got to be listened to by anybody even before the server fell, he was just getting yelled at because of a /huge/ mistake, but still, Jack never got the acknowledgement he wanted.

Woo. Another one of these.
First off, I am so happy for Ranboo. That man has deserved all of those subs and all the donations we couldn't see. I'm watching the two hours I missed last night because sleep.
Now that's over. The theory.
According to the lore email he sent, Billiam stole the orphan boy in a big ol' "kidnapping? I think you mean forced adoption". Joke. Joke. That's unhealthy.
Anyway. My first thought was "oh my God, he stole ranbutler." Then I thought more about it.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but ranboo's character wasn't going to be a butler, it changed at the last moment as something they decided.
So either ranboo was originally playing Billiam's "child" (now we know he was kidnapped and taken), or that whole thing wasn't even a part of it at all and he was originally a guest out of friendship like the others, excluding Drew.
Now. I could be reaching a bit here. But this could be before the egg. So what if Billiam looked at this child that was just stood holding que cards, the fact that a cannibal was walking around and making his way around to everyone, there was a bandit problem and was like "I'm skipping town anyway, not going to leave that child there."
We know that Billiam would have taken the money and made himself rich with it.
So what if he grabbed the money, child and ran. Ran far away into a spruce forest, found the egg and built the mansion around it.
It was a bit peculiar to me about why, if the butler was so poor, Billiam hadn't gotten rid of the butler and just gotten new ones every time he needed one. So what if that was because, despite everything, he has that same slight attachment to him since, you know, took him away from an honestly dangerous town.
And the egg became the "family bonding activity".
As I said, probably reaching. But oh well. Just a thought. That's all this is.

Love how I'm watching this I'm noticing things, like C!Dream's reason for obsession on clocks, and how there is a chance the overseers are the past time travelers that were "let go"

You know I've seen a lot of stuff about how Watson and Ran from the latest tales ep may be ranboo and Phil, which has interesting implications on its own, but let's focus on Ran here for a sec. If Ran is meant to be the same person as the ranboo we know then Ran would only be half of ranboo (as seen by the name and the fully enderman look and skillset eg. Grass blocks and enderpearls that one time) not sure if that makes 100% sense but regardless if Ran is meant to be half of ranboo but in the future that would mean that somewhere along the line ranboo himself gets split into his 2 separate halves?? Maybe? (Its 2am rn and this is dsmp lore were talking about so just go with it) and maybe those 2 sides got into conflict considering only 1 is with who we're presuming to be Phil (Watson) who tf knows maybe Ranbob is the key to all this. Of course if this is true it has the implications of ranboo being immortal and ppl like techno probably not being and idek how this would line up time wise but thats what theories are for lol.

HOLD UP HOLD UP HOLD UP HOLD UP JOLD UP HOLD UP
okay!! I haven't seen this theory so I'm going to put it out here before someone else thinks of it.
ITS TIME TRAVELER KARL TIME LETS GOOO
In the last totsmp, when Karl went back to the Inbetween he saw clones of himself wandering around the castle, though seemingly unaware of him or each other. And he kept finding books- some that seemed calm and knowledgeable, offering peace and wisdom- while others were frantic, deranged warnings that left you with a foreboding sense of danger and unsettling urgency. The books seemed to have a living author- and not the inbetween itself- because the strange author of these books refers to the inbetween as a separate entity. These clues come together to reveal what I think is one of the best explanations of what's really happening here.
The author of these books is Karl. The clones wandering the castle are Karl(s?) too- but from a different timeline. All the 'clones' are really just different versions of Karl, meeting in the inbetween, a place where time is nothing more than a dream. They are aware of each other, but they do not interact. They are memories of the future and visions of the past, infinite realities- all with one goal. Past, future, and infinite versions of the present are possible with time travel- with each choice creating a different outcome, a different reality. A timeline where things go right, where Karl knows how to save himself and his friends- this is the author of the calm directions that steer him towards knowledge. But there is a different timeline- one where Karl's mind deteriorates with his memory, where he can't save himself, cant save his friends or his home or his own mind. This version of Karl comes to the inbetween all too often, desperately trying to remember, to keep his past (or is it future?) self from making the same mistakes. He loses his grip on reality as more and more attempts at time travel go horribly wrong- the frantic, barely decipherable warnings of a lost man are the only thing left of him.
Let's pray that this reality, this Karl, won't meet the same fate.

Theory inspired by Tommy's Revival Stream
Dream clearly memorized the revival book, so killing him is the only way to stop him. But the book itself is still out there.
What if they get him to take Karl's place? Make him the time traveller eternally free and bound to the archiving and exploration of times long past and yet to come. Forgetting and losing himself along the way.
Because the prison clearly didn't stop him. Karl gets freed, Dream is effectively stopped, the Inbetween keeps a victim.
(But it makes one wonder, did something similar happen to Karl? Where he did things that forced the hand of the people around him to his current torment?)

I like to think that the reason the egg called ranboo a traitor was because ranboo is ranbutler and betrayed both the egg and sir billiam.
My theory is that Ranboo became a time traveler after a god/goddess who pity them and felt gratitude that he was able to kill sir billiam and destroy the egg that was ruining crops, ruining buildings and eventually ruining people and so they made him a time traveler; they weren't revived, his soul was remade and molded in the form of an enderman and was made half enderman half [REDACTED]. He eventually became friends with Karl
But ranboo disobeyed the rule of the in-between and went under the tree.
What he saw prompted him to write both the "don't stray from the path" and "look under the tree" book.
He ran from the in-between and landed in a middle time, where everything was only about to start.
It would also be interesting as to why Karl says in the book something in the lines of "remember why you're doing this" is because he's doing this for ranboo, for a former friend he misses dearly and wants him to remember who and what he is.
And that also would probably explain why ranboo was so mad at the egg, I mean, if he did betray l'manburg but he knew that. He wouldn't gotten so angry and snarky with the egg.
There might be some memories left from Ranboo's last life when he was still ranbutler.
Idk what this is just thought if she some thoughts

I had a stupid and deffo not canon but also plausible dsmp theory yesterday
The theory is that the Inbetween and The Other Side are connected levels (or possibly on the same level) in the Backrooms
Its
Surprisingly plausible
You can get into the Backrooms by time travel, that's canon
Karl Jacobs is Backrooms entity????

So. The tales of the smp thing.
Cw:// minor amounts of swearing (one mild word)
I don't usually put my two cents into things like this, keeping my theories to myself and all that since my friends don't watch the smp or anything like that.
And just a fair warning, this is going to be a long post so you can skip this if you're looking for other things. I don't know how to put the "read more" cut on the post.
I want to talk about what the significance of John John (ranboo) dying in the most recent tales thing. As far as I can see, nobody has said anything along the lines of what I'm thinking but I have just woken up and I went to bed immediately after the episode, with my brain going brrr.
Long story short: I think ranboo is going to die.
And I mean, lose a life and everyone thinks he's dead because he goes somewhere else when he dies.
My evidence;
The wild west episode had little explicit lore in it. The masquerade had the egg, very obviously, and the city of mizu is a future city with a shit ton of ties to ranboo, what with him saying he'd like to build an underwater city one day and ranbob and all of that.
Now. The egg said to techno on the 13th that he looked familiar and if the egg knew him. It could just be a joke at the fact that techno didn't change his skin for the masquerade one very much, but it could also be because, in canon, both billiam and techno are pig men.
How does this lend into ranboo potentially dying?
The past tales episodes predict the future.
It's instilled into us time and time again that the past keeps repeating itself.
Even in minor things.
The thing repeating itself now is the egg. It's repeating it's hold on the world.
So if ranboo died, then that could happen in the future.
"But it could have been an accident".
To that I say, no. Karl chose to have ranboo go up. It was planned. And usually, correct me if I'm wrong, but usually ranboo is a pretty good shot. Meaning it was intentional that his character was a bad one.
I know I'm doing a lot of reaching here, but yeah.
Now I'm gonna spill my thoughts on the egg.
Specifically the interactions with techno and ranboo. Because it seemed odd to me how it interacted with them.
Usually, the egg has to be interacted with for you to hear it; tommy started destroying it, sam is a spy, bad and ant are completely possessed, you get it.
But techno hadn't. Yet it started talking with him. This probably means it's getting stronger. Now. As I said before it said techno looks familiar, referencing to billiam, most likely. This could be why it was trying to show more of an authority to techno, saying "silence" after techno and that were beginning to go off topic, trying to control the situation but clearly failing because techno is just that type of person.
It began speaking to ranboo in a worse way as well, instead of asking what ranboo wanted, it picked at the little things nagging at ranboo himself. I remember seeing somewhere that apparently the egg called ranboo a slave, but I don't know how true it is. If it is true, then that could explain the more intimidation based tactics the egg tried to use, since the egg could be thinking that ranboo, who literally followed techno around during that stream, was the butler.
It seems that the egg is getting caught up in what and who it does and doesn't know.
I know that a lot of this is reaching so far I have to have a ladder to get there but even so, it's just something weird I noticed.
That's all. Sorry for the long post. I did like ranting though, so maybe I'll do it again. This is just two episodes of the tales series so, maybe I could try again.
Edit:
It's just occurred to me that I never said where I think ranboo is going to go.
Personally, I don't think he's going to go to the inbetween. My first thought was like... A recreation of The End, so he didn't get the achievement because, like, what if he actually came from there in the first place. But then I realised, no. That wouldn't make sense and would be very difficult to pull off with the ender dragon being there and the endermen. So what if he re-appeared at a completely different location in the server, one that maybe prompts him to start building a certain underwater city. Maybe the cause of death was because everyone found out about him trying to break dream out of prison, with how it seems the storyline is going currently, and that underwater city is the one place that nobody has a chance of anyone finding him. He writes down everything about everyone he knows, the most unreliable narrator picturing stories of men who can lift mountains. And his ancestors think he had the best memory since he wrote everything the city was founded on. Each story of his friends being told through this single lense that we, as the audience, know is unreliable due to memory problems. So it would make sense as to why mizu would think ranboo had the best memory. Everything they know came from him.
Shoot. Edit 2:
The consequence of ranboo dying. I keep forgetting to finish my thoughts in this. But this is the last one, I think.
Forgive me, for I only wish for wholesome family interactions. And this certainly is one.
It seems like techno and ranboo are a reccuring thing in the tales thing. With techno, there's also ranboo. Which makes sense, they're friendly in real life I assume and their smp characters are friends. But they also retain that mentor-mentee bond throughout the timelines too. Techno and ranboo, billiam and the butler, now the sheriff and John. This could be just like, "oh yeah. They're friends, it makes sense that they'd be friendly in the tales things too" if it wasn't for tubbo. Anyone who watches any of ranboo or tubbo's streams pretty much knows that they're practically best friends now, which is a really really nice dynamic. I love it. Now. If it was just real life friendship causing the friendly interactions between the sheriff and John then explain why tubbo's character, percy, is the one mainly picking on john.
Could be friendship, and a silly one at that, but you know. Reaching here.
Not to mention, the sheriff is the first one who reacted and reached where john died and reacted the worst, via... Milk... Drinking... Competition... Apparently? I don't know. It's very silly.
So. My thought process here is that we know techno and Phil are indifferent to ranboo's actions when he sleep walks, and we know techno knows about the voice now and he doesn't seem to care. We also know that ranboo trusts techno due to that shared commonality of voices in their heads.
So I think that, if ranboo dies, then techno and Phil are gonna have some words. Maybe moreso techno than phil because techno really seems to be warming up to everyone's favorite enderboy recently and I don't think that's without good thought. Techno very easily could get ranboo to go away if he wanted, but he's fooling himself at this point. He wasted no time hesitating giving ranboo his only trident to save him from the egg, was constantly trying to get him away from it when they were in the same room, ect.
So two possibilities for ranboo's potential death, have arisen:
1) The rest of the smp find out that ranboo has been trying to break dream out of prison.
2) ranboo tries to destroy the egg, maybe it grows slightly bigger and he doesn't bring enough totems to live through destroying it, as we see it causes damage to him to break it's blocks.
So yeah. Ranboo dies and techno decides that something needed to be done in dramatic techno fashion. I'm not sure what that is yet, but yeah.

So with latest news about Tales of the SMP coming back this Friday at 6:00pm EST. I decided to rewatch all the past episodes, or as many as I can. Because my mom and sister decided to watch it with me because they are cool.
And as we were watching the end of the episode, The lost city of Mizu, my sister pointed out that Karl tried to type we instead of I but back tracked. Now of course there could be answers to this like it maybe being a hint for multiple Karls later and all that. But it could also be just him messing up.
Just thought that was pretty interesting.
Anyways! I hope to talk again here soon after the latest stream. I will probably do fanart on my main blog of Tales. And.... Yeah!
Have a nice night/day and I hope to see you tomorrow after 6pm EST!!!!

This is the main theory I thought of while/ after watching ‘The Pit’ almost an entire day after it happening...
//Spoilers for the recent episode I’d definitely watch it, it was as insanely good as all the Tales Of The SMP and this mainly involves the plot developing around the Inbetween\\
And also I’ve looked at literally no theories on the recent stream so I’m presuming there will be people who have thought of this and so just know that I didn’t copy them! Anyway, I’ll get into the theory :]
The Inbetween and The Other Side represent Ranboo’s different sides to himself.
This is supported by the main colours of each of them: white and black as well as Karl being told to get to the portal by what seems to be translated enderspeak, although I haven’t fact checked that so if that’s wrong please correct me :D.
This could also be supported by Ran as they are seen to be half of Ranboo, not only in name but also by how they are the beta version of Endermen (due to the green eyes and also the ability to teleport).
‘The Ranboo was a Time-Traveller’, which from what I can find that Twilight the Ice-Sea-Nightwing on the DreamTeam fandom was the first to come up with (https://dreamteam.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000000018852), could be supported by this as maybe the sides of him were made through a split between the Inbetween and The Other Side, which could have been combined before. And with this ‘split’ - possibly in his head, maybe in a Left Brain/ Right Brain situation? - his memory was lost with it.
And this situation could currently be happening with Karl, with this large ‘responsibility’ he’s putting on himself pulling him apart from the inside out, creating his own sides, which may make him be put in the same situation as Ranboo in the main DreamSMP storyline, having two different sides and fighting on two different sides.
That’s my theory anyway it’s probably wrong but I thought I’d get it out there! I’d love to hear your and/ or popular theories since I’ve kinda been avoiding them to think of my own...
Have a good day and stay safe! :]

Okay I have an absolutely crazy Ranboo theory
So Ghostbur, right? He
Is a greyscale version of Wilbur Soot
Has a single piece of color on him, his sweater
Has lost the majority of his memories
Gets hurt by water
Has a ghost associated word in his name (GHOSTbur)
Now Ran from TotSMP is heavily implied to be a time traveler and is most definitely related to Ranboo in some way. He is from the past, but has seen the future, just as Karl has.
Karl has had terrible experiences with the inbetween, and the inbetween is a world in GREYSCALE.
Now let's look at some traits of Ranboo. Ranboo
Has half of his body in greyscale
Has a single piece of color on that half, his red eye (red being the opposite of green on the color wheel)
Has lost his memories before the SMP and still experiences frequent memory loss
Gets hurt by water
Has a ghost associated word in his name (RanBOO)
Now I propose that Ranboo is actually Ran after a terrible time traveling accident, and he's now part ghost!
This could also explain why Dream has control over him. Since he's not fully dead he can't be revived, but his soul can still be taken hold of.
What do you guys think? :D
