Thought of a kinda silly Criller/Kross AU where Cross defects from Nightmare's gang and joins Dream's- only for their party to later capture and hold Killer prisoner. The others wanna kill him for his crimes, but Cross (And, deep down, Dream) convinces the others that Killer can change.

Something something they start Killer on the path to be reformed, to which *eventually* Killer gives in and actually starts doing (totally not because he loves Cross or anything haha)

I feel like the whole AU would be filled with small moments between Cross and Killer, like Cross teaching him about gentleness- and how hard it was for him to learn it too.

I think Killer slowly, over time, starts to get used to life with the others and starts being better and better. He's still Killer- that much can't really change- but that small sliver of himself, the past self, yearns for a kind of peace he's never had before.

I think eventually, the two would also help mend things between Nightmare and Dream. Despite Killer warming up to Dream after so many years of hatred, I think his loyalties still lie with Nightmare. He's been through and seen lots of stuff over the years he's probably worked with the guy, so he's probably the only one in meetings or normal chat that actually defends him.

And I think Dream eventually recognizes that and starts quietly coming to him with advice for his brother, which causes the two to bond and disnxjdkxnxuf

I think Dream would be a little sad he missed the Nightmare of recent years, and I think Killer feels bummed out he couldn't help the Nightmare from the past.

Think there would also be a time where Cross sometimes relapses into old habits which the others scorn and scold him for, and Killer is the one which stands up for him and knows how to handle it (since he's probably seen it all the time, in a worse form, back when they both worked for Nightmare). Same thing if it was reversed the other way- Cross easing tensions between everyone and making sure Killer's alright.

I don't know, I just feel like no matter where they are, they get each other the most. They may have had different pasts, different circumstances, different everything- they're still so much alike. That can cause them to butt heads sometimes, sure, but I feel like they understand despite the fighting.

AAAaaa so silly! There's one fic I remember reading where killer was a prince and Cross was a guard, but it wasn't Kross focused, totally different ships going on.

I'd love to see Killer being a devious little princeling and Cross being his big responsible guard. Killer getting into so much mischief and Cross running after him trying to fix it, lmao.

Killer is such a little bully, getting into trouble so Cross has to take responsibility for it and clean up his mess... or maybe he's just getting into trouble so Cross pays attention to him... Nobody can prove it if he is... Maybe Killer finally gets into more trouble than he intends to and Cross is endangered by it... Maybe it's enough to snap him out of his stupid sense of "this is all just a game for his attention" and he finally pours his soul out to Cross.

Cross being annoyed by Killer's penchant for trouble but also so deeply caring for him (they've known each other longer than they haven't now, It's hard not to) and not at all wanting him to get hurt. Cross is so undyingly loyal and also so fed up with Killer's shit. (He just wants Killer to stop acting out; he really can't risk acting like this with his soul oddity.) Cross does everything he can to prevent Killer from getting out and causing trouble, but damnit, he always finds a way!

Well... He'd be lying if he said he didn't like a little excitement in his life... And well, if that excitement is Killer's penchant for trouble... He loves it as much as he loves Killer.

Kris Kross - ‘Totally Krossed Out’ (1992)

Chris Kelly (August 11, 1978 - May 1, 2013) was born in Atlanta. In 1990, Producer Jermaine Dupri discovered him and his friend, Chris Smith in Atlanta’s Greenbriar Mall. With Dupri, he and Smith produced a demo tape that led to them signing with Ruffhouse Records.

He and Smith became the rap duo, Kris Kross, soon releasing the song “Jump,” which was an enormous hit. Written and produced by Jermaine Dupri, “Jump” stayed at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for eight weeks in 1992. The album the song was on, Totally Krossed Out (1992), went multiplatinum, and its success led to Kris Kross performing with artists like Michael Jackson. Kris Kross fans also began to duplicate the duo’s style of wearing their clothes backward.

Following the success of “Jump,” Kris Kross continued to release hits, including “Warm It Up.” They released a video game, Kris Kross: Make My Video, and even recorded the “Rugrats Rap” for Nickelodeon’s Rugrats. But as he and Smith got older, they tried to toughen their image on subsequent albums. Though they released two successful albums, the duo would never again release a song as popular as “Jump.” They parted ways after releasing their 1996 album, Young, Rich and Dangerous.

He continued to be involved with music after leaving Kris Kross, including attending school to learn to be a studio engineer.

Good morning 🌅. Here's an irreverent early 80s punk tune from one of the greatest LA-area bands of that whole era, Redd Kross, who were previously known as Red Cross, but were threatened with a lawsuit by the International Red Cross, even though their name actually alluded to the famous masturbation scene from The Exorcist and not the humanitarian organization 😬. And speaking of The Exorcist, this song is about its star, Linda Blair, who then went onto star in a TV movie called Born Innocent, which is what Redd Kross happened to name their 1982 debut LP, with this song serving as its very first track.

Dig how totally loose and noisy this thing is! I have both volumes of a retrospective series on short-lived early 80s Cali punk label Smoke 7 Records, and every song by Redd Kross on them stands out especially.

WWE - SmackDown 12/1/2023 Review

Tonight, I decided to tune in to the December 1st edition of SmackDown. My Friday had gone perfectly. After work, I had absolutely nothing to do except wait for 4 hours until Smackdown would come on.

From the beginning, we are already told that Randy Orton will be making an appearance on this week's SmackDown. The Viper is a free agent currently. His inclusion for tonight is a bidding war between RAW and SmackDown for his exclusivity.

Damage CTRL Segment:

WWE continues to remain creatively stagnant in their Damage CTRL related segments. The same old shit happened where Bianca Belair calls out Damage CTRL, they walk out and talk some shit, then Charlotte and Shotzi walk out and brawl with Damage CTRL. My problem with these segments is that it's become so repetitive that it feels like there are absolutely zero stakes involved since it's not Iyo putting her WWE Title on the line. Overall I rate the segment a 2/5, character work really shined here but there was nothing else. I know Bailey will be kicked out of the group soon enough.

Butch vs Bobby Lashley

Following being abandoned by his tag partner last week on SmackDown, Butch decides to indulge in a singles career, and was matched up with Bobby Lashley.

The match was solid, with the main highlight being the beautiful finish by Bobby Lashley spearing Butch and pinning him.

Overall, I rate the Butch vs Bobby Lashley match a 4/5. Served it's purpose.

Nick Aldis and Paul Heyman Segment

Fun fact about the British SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis was actually a wrestler that held the championship that Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Kevin Von Erich, and more had held throughout history. Nick Aldis held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship for over 1000 days.

This fact fascinates me when I see how they're using Nick Aldis in the Bloodline related segments. Nick Aldis could 100% be the guy to beat Roman Reigns. Paul Heyman ends up knocking on Nick Aldis' office door and asks Nick why Randy Orton would be appearing on SmackDown that night. Nick Aldis then revealed that Randy Orton would be offered a contract to be exclusive to SmackDown, which would be very enticing to Randy Orton given his motivation to destroy The Bloodline.

Paul then asks Nick if Our Tribal Chief was made aware of this, and Nick Aldis proceeded to shut it down by delivering the message to Paul Heyman to then tell to Roman Reigns. Nick Aldis is getting increasingly territorial with SmackDown by competing with RAW and demanding dominance by his talent.

This segment is awesome for the ongoing Bloodline storyline. I rate this a 4.5/5.

Butch gets bullied by Pretty Deadly

This segment is utterly pointless and only serves to hammer in the fact that Butch was abandoned. 1/5.

Santos Escobar vs Joaquin Wilde

Santos Escobar continues to be one of the fastest rising heels in SmackDown history. Joaquin Wilde was matched up with him to attempt to defend the LWO's honor against Santos, but Santos actually beat Joaquin and proceeded to beat him up in the middle of the ring.

Match was a 3.5/5. Beatdown at the end added nothing except to continue to fuel the Santos Escobar heat.

Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce bidding war on Randy Orton

Adam Pearce had caught wind of Nick Aldis offering a SmackDown contract to Randy Orton tonight, and had prepared a counter-offer for Randy Orton in a segment later tonight.

This GM rivalry is incredible to me and I'm excited to see what it brings.

Logan Paul appears on SmackDown

Outside of WWE, Logan Paul is an asshole. However, inside of WWE, he is an incredibly pivotal heel in the United States title picture. Logan Paul boasts about his totally fair championship victory over Rey Mysterio, and he reveals that he spoke with Nick Aldis to introduce a tournament including the following wrestlers.

Kevin Owens

An NXT superstar that will be called up to the main roster.

This tournament has some supremely talented performers and sports entertainers, and we had the privilege of seeing a sneak peek over the rest of the tournament with a match against Kevin Owens and Grayson Waller.

Overall, I rate this segment a 4/5. Crowd really added to this segment and Logan has shockingly good promo skills.

Kevin Owens vs Grayson Waller

The KO vs Grayson Waller match ended up being a comedic pleasure to watch. There were many out of ring shenanigans with Austin Theory that really added to the match and helped gather my attention. Kevin Owens ended up beating Grayson.

Match was a 2.5/5. Not horrible. Not great.

CM Punk Segment

WWE played a video segment of reactions to CM Punk returning to WWE at Survivor Series. At the end of the video segment, it was revealed that CM Punk would be at next week's SmackDown. Pretty interesting to see if CM Punk and Paul Heyman will interact.

Kairi Sane vs Bianca Belair

Match was kinda boring. Bringing back Kairi Sane just to make her lose a lot is a bad booking decision. 1/5.

Randy Orton makes his Decision

WWE decided to book the equivalent of Lebron's The Decision. Randy Orton makes a great and uninterrupted entrance and at the end he even hit the pose.

Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce then get heated with each other and try to throw out their offers for Randy. Adam Pearce offered Randy the winner of Seth Rollins vs Jey Uso on RAW, and Nick Aldis offered Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.

At that point, Paul Heyman interrupted. He gave his whole schtick about how Randy was taken out by Our Tribal Chief, WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. Paul declared there will be no RKO's that night and that Randy won't have time to make that decision because The Bloodline would stop him.

Solo walks out with Jimmy Uso, then Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce leave the ring. Nick and Adam have had a wrestling career so it doesn't make sense as to why the WWE has not used them for wrestling.

LA Knight runs out to make the save for Randy, and ends up brawling with Solo Sikoa, leaving Randy in the ring with Jimmy. Randy hits a DDT, and then a RKO.

Randy ends up signing with SmackDown, to the ire of Paul Heyman who was shouting "GO TO RAW!" Just like that, Randy Orton returns to Friday nights. At the end of the segment, Randy RKO's Nick Aldis and Paul Heyman calls Roman Reigns on his cellphone. 5/5

This episode of SmackDown truly shined in the story telling department, but really could have benefited from higher quality matches.

I honestly don't even know what to think anymore.

So the past few days I've learned a lot of things about my colleagues salary and I don't even know what to feel. I've been thinking if I made the right decision or not. I think I've just been in my calm era that I feel like when I first got offered a job I was just so happy. But I also think like, in the time of my life that I was in at that moment, I really was just so grateful that I've been excepted to the job. But these couple of days, actually, these couple of months has me thinking about the decision I made. It's not that I don't regret what I did, but it's that it's making me think like should I have negotiated first.

I think when I was like three months in, people started talking about the salary and I kept hearing everyone else's and I'm learning that everyone else is discerning much more than me. But then I also found people who are earning the same as I do. So in the time I was like getting to know all these peoples and I just kind of like except it in my head that yeah I guess it's fine because the people who are earning more and are earning the same as I do have more experience than me but the company has been growing and hiring more and more people and I'm learning that they are actually being offered more than I do and I do understand that like they have more experience than me in the exact industry that I'm currently at but I think it kind of like feels that I've just been used in a way or like I don't know maybe more of like taking advantage of. So I mean I'm so conflicted like learning what I know now if I were to go back would I have tried to negotiate my salary? But then again it's like I don't even know if I have like the balls to actually negotiate it like I don't even know you know what I mean. But then like the people that was earning the same as I do have been promoted and they got a raise just recently and I kind of feel like left out to be honest with you. Granted they do have more of an experience than I do, I just feel like it's fucked up in a way that I can't explain. Maybe what I feel it's like betrayal and learning that I'm being exploited in the same way. Is this the start of my villain era like for real? Because I don't think people understand that if I actually do start in my villain era it's gonna create a lot of chaos. Because I feel like I am stock but like different stock this time. I feel that I want to jump ship but not really in a way that like the job is kind of frustrating but like not depressing enough for me to actually want to like leave immediately like the feeling of like having to like I can't even do this anymore. But also I feel like I've just numbed myself out maybe? But also like I actually can't jump ship at the moment because I am paying for a lot of things and for some reason I am responsible for that was just another thing that's just like I processed and I think I thought I excepted but may be I actually haven't because this has made me think of like the choices save me and the life that I have. So I think I need like a solid ass plan on how I'm gonna live the next couple of years of my life. No I totally Krossed of the other industry as a "work" but doesn't necessarily mean that I can't go freelance. So I just feel like I need to process this and actually make a plan because I can't just stay at the company I I literally feel it in my bones that they feel it like I'm numb but I feel like I should be very cautious you know I feel like I'm trying to stay calm so that people don't see my reaction but I'm actually freaking out and I'm so angry actually that I am like don't even know how to react anymore. I mean like the people who actually trained me and everyone has just been laid off! Which is fucking insane! Because how do you go having these people who are doing their job right and didn't actually make any mistake that's like so bad and one of them actually it's like one of the best in the team and even that person was let go! So I feel like what was that all about? I mean, I kind of get it in a business perspective but like the way the company is like trying to make it seem like the company is so nice so friendly we care about our customers we care about our employees but like at the end of the day they still view it as like a fucking company and I think they're like so good at making it seem like it's actually great but in reality like it's just a façade of all the dirt that's actually in it do you know what I mean? So I feel like I need to come up with a solid plan and honestly I have two things in my mind right now and let me list it for you.

Stay in a company for a year so I can have a solid experience and without I can actually bullshit my way into fucking going into a different company using that but at the same time getting all the certificates and trainings so that I can boost my salary in my next job.

Start doing UGC and actually learn how it works because I think I don't even have the show my face for this so I can definitely do this and I now have a phone so there's no excuses for me to not do this anymore.

Start doing side hustles and make it my main hustle so that my job is the side hustle.

Now I know this is like kind of insane but I feel like I actually think I can do this like I legit can't do this and not the same time loose so fucking weird for real.

I think it's just like when they let my trainer go which I know for a fuck how much he helped build the company but he was just like it's just like in an instant he was just let go wasn't even given a different roll just like that he said bye we don't need you anymore after having all these things and I'm like yeah like we gotta start doing this is a fucking company and they're not my fucking family.

Yeah I think I have let it all out now but I think it's not like sinking in yet but I know for a fact that I am not gonna stay in this company for like three years for sure maximum two years and I'm gonna jump ship and that's on that.

Anyway I just wanna burn it out because I don't know if anyone could relate to how I'm feeling but I know for a fact that myself and I understand what's happening and as much as I want to stay in this company like it's bullshit still it's all bullshit.
