Got a favorite unit in FEH gameplay wise?

I personally like working with a unit’s original kit (Askr trio excluded) and fell in love with Altina as a result. Love her gimmick. Second most used unit in the game for me. Nothing like throwing her into enemy range and hoping that she a.) kills and/or b.) gets knocked into vantage range instead of one shot. She’s not clearing the arena for me, but tactically launching her into the electric traps in aether raids is way too fucking funny.

honestly ive been having a LOT of fun with the shar&vero duo???? they've got their og kit except i gave them galeforce.

so i throw them out there into the battlefield with peony hanging in the back and it's like. bam. enemy down. i make someone else attack nearby. shar is reinvigorated. she attacks again. she may activate gale force by now. she attacks again. i deploy peony. shar gets an extra turn. she runs to the other side of the map to tackle the poor healer left on the battlefield. battle cleared

i usually send in a gully or arval with them for the extra ranged attack too lol

powercreep aside my main team since i started playing back in 2022 is base m!shez, arval, legendary f!grima, and child hector. if i need to autobattle i deploy these four and dont have to worry most of the time. grimas near save and hectors far save mean ive got my bases covered. arval is there for range. shez can scout ahead and can endure most hits so if he strays from everyone else it's okay,

but if i reduce it to one unit id probably pick shez lol. can move to a space next to a unit within two spaces so he's got a nice range :) + his base weapon giving him the chance of attacking four times is lots of fun

it's a lot of fun to have those units you can deploy like. UNIT.... KILL.

something Ingo hates: a certain type of food ruined by a prank Emmet and Elesa once pulled on him when they were younger and Akari finds one such food item and she is shocked to see him react this annoyed and at the idea of sharing it or eating it with her.

(I imagine there were often two against one pranks going on with either twin joining with Elesa or the twins coming up with something to annoy Elesa)

it can definitely happen that something becomes inedible after a prank was pulled.

FOOD PRANKS. They can be so funny but devistating lol.

My dad has a story of how years ago, there was a person in his office who would steal his lunch out of the break room and eat them all the time. Didn’t matter if my dad put his name on it either. This mystery worker would take it and it would always be gone by the time my dad went to get it for lunch. Every day!!!

Well he got sick of this happening, obviously. My dad would always make a sandwich, so when he had enough, he made the sandwich with dogfood instead of his usual fixings. He said when he went to get his lunch out of the fridge that day, there was his sandwich, with two bites out of it.

My dad says the funniest part to him was that the person needed a second bite to realize it was dogfood. He never had a problem with his lunch being stolen again though!!

I think the trick of just swapping out one part of the food/meal for something else would be enough to kill the entirety of it for Ingo.

Imagine Akari brings Ingo a big box of filled donuts — surely he’d like these! But Ingo sees the pack, and he sees her offering them to him. The ONLY memories that resurfaces are the times where Emmet and Elesa replaced the fillings with mayonnaise/mustard/BBQ sauce etc. and offered them to him (I imagine they’d do this repeatedly). That is his ONLY frame of reference for how those things taste, and out of reflex he rejects them and calls them awful.

Akari wouldn’t know about any of this and she’d ask him if he’s sure. Because how could he not like donuts? Ingo would say yes, he remembers having them multiple times, and every time, they were absolutely disgusting. Akari’s like oh no, he’s broken :(

Do you have any Tri headcanons you would like to share 👁️👁️

i haven't had time to like, think of anything suuuper complex lol so more than headcanons these are me poking at their character i think?

for starters i have like, NO clue if tri gets Gendered™ properly in the English version of the game, but in the latam spanish version tri felt soooo genderless/gender neutral i cannot help but they/them at least and avoid using pronouns at most lol. like i think if they do use pronouns it's more in a "well if it's easier for you! idk what a pro noun is though. is that a different kind of echo i dont know about????"

on that note. yknow how in that one post i made the very first day i compared tri to fi briefly? holy SHIT dude. the entire game i felt that exact same brand of affection develop for them. like they're not identical and their behaviors come from different places but both learning about human emotions through observation is so nice to see. like their arcs seem very similar, just tri's are Way more in the open/through mandatory story segments whereas fi's was more subtle and mostly in optional dialogues

also i Love how tri like. behaves in general. the way they correct people when they get called a floating ball. "no im tri!!!". the way they circle around people trying to gauge of they can be seen. they're so silly and genuine with their reactions

i guess one headcanon is that i imagine they sound like a muffled windchime. like in general but ESPECIALLY when moving. very soft noises but still bell- or glass-like in nature

cant think of much else rn but i like tri a lot :)

the adult horror conversation with yourself of 'i could have tortillas with dinner tonight. i just had tortillas the other day. that's okay. i can, in fact, have tortillas again! i am putting a different filling in them! but if i have these tortillas, i will have a total of six tortillas left in the freezer. eventually i will have to buy more tortillas. by god, girl, you are allowed to eat the things you have in the freezer, instead of feeling like you have to save them for some potential eventuality so you don't run out of them, and like, what situation are you even imagining where the tortillas would be better to have later instead of for this particular dinner??? if you keep feeling like you have to save them for Something you will just not eat the tortillas!! eventually EVERYTHING runs out and you have to buy more of them!! that is the way the world works!! you are allowed to not have things aggressively stockpiled, except for like, tissues, but that was a purchasing incident on mom's card while she was still here, so you just happen to have, a bizarre amount of tissue boxes. AND WHILE YOUR FINANCES ARE STILL BIG RED QUESTION MARKS, YOU CAN, IN FACT, AFFORD TO GO BUY MORE TORTILLAS IF YOU FUCKING WANT TO!!! YOU GET THE STREET TACO SIZE AND THEY'RE LIKE $2.99!!!!! AND WHEN DID YOU EVEN BUY THESE TORTILLAS, HUH???????? YOU DON'T KNOW, DO YOU???? WHICH MEANS YOU HAVE GONE THROUGH THE TORTILLAS AT AN ACCEPTABLE PACE!! Tort, Torta, Tortilla! Your thoughts about the new Nosferatu movie?I recently watched the old one from the 1922s but I'm haven't go to the movies yet to watch the new one from 2024. What did you think of it? From what I got to see from the trailer the atmosphere is much different and apparently Thomas and Ellen personality are different too! Thomas was joyful and carefree to the point he was bitten and in the next day he was writing to his wife a letter saying "omg Ellen the mosquitoes are killing me 😫". Overall, I don't know what's happening in the new movie

Since you haven't seen it, I'll just say... GO WATCH IT OH MY GOD. I have also seen the 1922 original, though it's been a while since then. Robert Eggers' version is definitely different, but I enjoyed it tremendously. I won't say much in terms of plot so as to not spoil it, but this is a movie MADE for monsterfuckers and fans of doomed gothic romance. And Thomas' personality isn't what you're describing in Nosferatu (2024), that's more Jonathan Harker, but Thomas' time in the castle is still very cool. As someone who's from Romania, I also can't help but love this movie for the historical accuracy, because they truly did their research and pretty much nailed the Romanian peasantry, the superstitions, the Christian Orthodox church... and Count Orlok/Nosferatu himself genuinely looks and acts like old Romanian nobility! So yeah, loved the film. I'm planning to see it again, to be honest.
