Hey everyone, I've got some interesting news! Starting today, we're gonna be hosting a holiday event! I'm calling it The Twelve Days of Ask-Edd!

So from today until the 25th, we'll be passing the blog around to a few of our friends and letting them take over for the day. So for today, it's just me, Matt, Tom, and Tord, and then tomorrow it'll be a whole new set of friends!

🌼 making the most of the night (1/4) : after saying goodbye to hercules ... she would have wanted a warm body for some comfort. probably only to realise that a warm body just isn’t enough. lowkey i’d love for meg to have short-lived relationships if you’re down !! either in the past, or present. for one reason or another, they just didn’t work out. meg is still finding out who she is outside of hades and hercules. but there’s nothing like a lover, however short they stay for. because as much as she’s sworn off love, her heart is too big and too alone to not seek comfort from another human being.

🏺 ‘uptown’ neighbours : isn’t it weird that this random girl just suddenly moved in to one of the most prestigious apartment buildings in the city ? and the previous owner just never came back ? think The Arconia from ‘only murders in the building’.

🏺 don’t i know you from somewhere ? : if your character does a lot of community work, particularly with homeless shelters or food drives, they may recognise meg. she needed those services for a couple of weeks before she got gifted the apartment.

🏺 hey, hang on ... : she was definitely not ‘in’ the fight (ie. the big battle against hades), but if you were close with hades, you may know of meg !! she would have been lurking in the background, or going in and out of hades’ place, and also seen with hercules, of course.

🏺 pawn shop gorl : meg has made friends with the owner of the pawn shop ( his name is ‘gus’ hehe ). she’s sold hades’ old items to him, lots of ancient greek antiques. do you go to the pawn shop too ?!?! :’0

🏺 oh, oh, oh, it’s magic : she may not actively seek help for finding her soul ... but she won’t refuse it if it’s offered or noticed. she’s very wary of the gods right now, but she’ll accept some advice.

Timeline

Born in Oslo, Norway after her twin brother, Tord.

Age 4 - Sent to live in the UK with a family friend after some financial problems with her parents. This family friend will be referred to as Miss Chambers, and cares for both Tord and Tord until they’re 18. During this time she meets her lifelong friend Ell, Matilda, and Tamara.

Age 5 - Started ballet as an extracurricular activity, and kept with it for 13 entire years. She absolutely adores the art of it.

Also pursued gymnastics around this time, but really only to better her dancing. It’s much less of an interest compared to ballet itself.

Age 12 - Began entering in local Chess tournaments, nothing too huge but she has a few trophies for it in her room somewhere.

Age 13 - Started finishing school. 

Age ?? - Attends Tord’s funeral, after which he returns as a zombie and then gets killed again, etc.

Age 18 - Graduates high school with the intent of enrolling in college and becoming a fashion major, instead ends up enlisting in the stupid communist military to make sure her stupid brother doesn’t get stupid killed for real this time.

Age 20 - Moves up in ranks to become the other half of Red Leader.

Age 23 - Works online for a college education with every semester she can get ahold of, communist military be damned.

Age 24 - The events of The End happen, only with Tori visiting her friends while Tord nearly gets killed For Real in his giant robot’s explosion. She takes this chance to stay out of the army this time and with her friends/eventual girlfriends instead. Refuses to talk to Tord or correspond with the army while he’s in critical condition, it’s his own god damned fault, anyway.

Age 25 - Graduates college with a bachelor’s degree in fashion.

(VERSE DEPENDENT) - Moves to the US. Ends her relationship with her girlfriends on a good note; she still highkey has soft feelings toward them but she can’t do long-distance relationships. She already missed them too much while she was in the army.

Tidbits

Full name is Victory Nadine Tordsen. She’s convinced her parents have a cruel sense of humor for hers and Tord’s name alone.

Was a surprise baby, and the youngest twin by four minutes. Her parents picked her name with the intention of calling her Tori anyway, because it matched Tord’s

Is what Tord describes as a “Continuity Error”, meaning she can die and be killed repeatedly and respawn not long after. Has only died and respawned once, though, after being shot down as a zombie.

(Based off of Edds.world canon where Tord himself has died like, eight fucking times)

She’s not the only one with this “condition”. Tord, his friends, neighbors, and her friends (Tamara, Ell, and Matilda) are also Continuity Errors.

Death is still extremely painful and she takes it very seriously, please don’t actually do that shit to her for funsies

Has a massive inferiority complex stemming from the fact that she feels like “the stupid half” of one whole, especially when she considers the fact that Tord has a genius-level IQ and is... literally a millionaire

also stems from the fact that she put her life straight out of high school aside to join Tord in the military. She joined in the lowest ranks, while he entered as an engineer and quickly killed made his way up the ladder. When he was at the top, he plucked her from her position and put her at the top with him

Was considered one half of Red Leader in the Red Army. Surprisingly enough - or not surprisingly, if you’ve met Tord - she was the more strategic and less impulsive side, and planned out a good majority of military operations while Tord was the more charismatic one leading the front lines (despite the fact that their personalities may suggest the opposite). The army disbanded and fell apart after the events of The End, because she refused to return and morale was low with Tord being in such a serious state.

Doesn’t enjoy talking about her time in the military, and would rather people just not know she was in an army period. All uniform and army-related items she has, save for weaponry, have been destroyed.

Speaking of weaponry, she has an entire arsenal in her living quarters period. There’s probably a few knives and guns in particular stashed here and there in case of emergencies. 

She also keeps at least two knives and gun on her person at all times for this reason. It’s a pain to disarm herself every damn time she goes home with someone though

Actually adores knives and knucklebusters the most out of her weapons, has a ridiculous amount of both due to her tendency to match them with her outfits.

Highly trained and considered dangerous despite her stature. She and Tord both are killer shots and have, in fact, murdered people

Has worked as a paid assassin once or twice, but only takes that sort of job after observing and researching targets for herself.

Hired each time by the same people, [REDACTED]. 

Used to get in fights for funsies!

Pansexual and polyamorous. Has been with more girls/feminine-presenting people than anyone else.

Is... sensitive over the topic of zombies. Had the joy of witnessing her brother as a zombie, was a zombie herself for a brief time and still has a scar from the bite on her left side. Will avoid zombie-related movies and popculture at all costs.

Is no stranger to the supernatural and/or paranormal, tends not to judge outlandish stories, situations, or people because of this. 

Actually does have an impressive temper, but she’s not quick to anger unless you’re purposefully going out of your way to antagonize her with sensitive topics.

Goes out of her way to fluster people bigger than her, which is... almost anybody, given her whopping 4′9″ stature. If she finds out she can fluster you, it’s practically instinct for her to try and make it ten times worse.

Varying taste in music, though she’s partial toward rock and the electric guitar in particular. Can be found absolutely blaring that shit she’s home alone. Her neighbors must love her. 

Like her brother, she was a punk in high school. Fishnets and leather galore, really. She used to have a lot more piercings, too

*Punk bordering on delinquent. Sneaking out, drinking, partying, etc, only stopped when her ballet classes were on the line.

Really flexible. Like. Really flexible. Hits up the gym regularly and is actually kinda ripped?? (which I don’t write about often enough)

Would probably be recognized as someone who’s British/English rather than Norwegian. Her accent is extremely watered down due to having lived in England most of her life, anyway. She used to visit Norway one month out of the year during her childhood, though, and her accent would come back stronger every time. It’d probably still happen if she ever went there as an adult.

Has a few scars, most notably her bite mark at her left side, and the stab wound scar at her upper right. Will usually go out of her way to cover up scars on her legs/arms/hands, all from various causes.

Has a sweet tooth like her brother, prefers baked goods to candy but will eat both if left alone with it. 

Is actually kind of a picky eater. Won’t touch spicy foods because she can’t handle them and isn’t about to embarrass herself like that in front of other people. Thank god she can cook for herself.

Has a basic understanding of mechanics, as well as first aide and computer programming. Her real skills lie in clothing production.

Is kinky.

You know this is par for the course in AASOAF lol. Pirates be getting stabbed you know? The most shocking by far though, would be if Mariel got stabbed and holy mama, that would be one of the worst things that could happen because that would send Axtapor into a rage like no other. He's very protective of those he cares about but his protectiveness over Mariel is off the charts. He would make it his personal mission to end whoever hurt her.

As for the direct aftermath, he's pretty experienced with being stabbed, so he'd know proper procedure for removal and treatment of the wound. Though he might be a little rattled to be doing it for her since she's his gorl. And Mariel would be trying to keep him calm the whole time and I'm sure he'd be scolding her the whole time while he's doing his best not to appear like he's freaking out.
