there’s no real tutorial on how to spotlight a fundraiser but what many of my friends and i have been doing is basically:

choosing a fundraiser, making posts about it detailing any important information (the vetting, the amount of money, what the family is going through, how many people the fundraiser will fund, what the funds will be allocated towards, whether or not there’s any raffles with the fundraiser), and either reblogging the post(s) with updates every few hours or making new posts about the fundraiser every few hours. we also use the queue features for hours when we’re not online which can be helpful.

if you have the capability to, i recommend actively reblogging with updates and using the queue since i’ve noticed that it tends to help more since you’re reblogging it more constantly.

most of the time my friends will keep the same post for a few days and then when it stops gaining traction, switch to making a new post. if we’ll campaigning for a fundraiser that’s being spotlighted /featured on another blog, we’ll also add on to that post with any updates we see fit. this includes blogs from palestinians!!

don’t be afraid to tag people!!!! especially if they tag you! they most likely won’t mind being tagged :) of course please don’t tag palestinians with their own campaigns tagging you when the campaign your spotlighting has nothing to do with them but fjhdjdhs. i personally encourage tagging me (preferably through my main).

length of post is difficult to determine because unfortunately people will scroll past it if it’s too long. i like to keep mine as concise as possible but i’ve seen many successful spotlighted campaigns with long posts detailing life before this nakba and introducing the family members. i personally think the most important thing is to keep the vetting and fundraiser at the top of the post so it’s one of the first things people see.

now some warnings. i’m sure you’ve already considered some of these but just in case:

there may be accounts from assholes who will reply to your posts and accuse you of being a scammer or just say awful racist shit. i haven’t seen the sock puppet accounts in a while but there’s definitely still people convinced gaza’s fundraisers are a scam.

if the person you are spotlighting has a tumblr account, they may be terminated or shadowbanned. you’ll know if you can’t message them, find their blog through tumblr search, or see them in any notifications. shadowbanning in particular can be really shitty for palestinians because it prevents their posts from being as visible as possible. you’ll have to put extra care into these.

you may get an influx of asks from palestinians if you have your inbox open. you’ll have to check and see if the accounts are vetted anywhere by going through the notes of their posts and searching their url into tumblr search (make sure to check the link on any spreadsheet to ensure that they match the link on the blog) and whether or not their photos aren’t taken from the internet (via reverse google images/tineye). i also try to make it clear as to whether or not someone is vetted. ex: if a fundraiser i’m reblogging hasn’t been vetted yet i’ll tag that information. if i’m adding an addition to the post, i’ll put the fact that it has yet to be vetted in the reblog.

you may also get an influx of mentions/replies from other blogs spotlighting/featuring fundraisers. again, you’ll have to check the verifications for these/RiS etc. sometimes you will get invisible asks because these blogs have been shadowbanned.

please focus your attention on a limited amount of fundraisers. it’s awful having to make the decision but it also means you won’t get overwhelmed as easily. limiting the amount of spotlighted fundraisers will also mean more traction to the fundraisers.

there will be graphic images sometimes. hearing these accounts is horrifying and can be emotionally taxing especially because you know you’re often only being told this because of people’s apathy towards palestinians. they need people to care for them. it’s horrifying the lengths they have to go through to get there but it’s unfortunately necessary. please don’t hold ill will against them for it.

and off there are many fundraisers in need of boosts and spotlighting ones being spotlighted never hurt but if you’re looking for ones that aren’t being spotlighted: a while back northgazaupdates asked if a bunch of people if they had any capability to make a post about suad (@/khaled-mother) who has been vetted by nabulsi here. from what i can tell there’s been a few posts but i don’t believe there’s anyone actively spotlighting her campaign. @/amjadshiltawu has also been on my watch list for when one of the campaigns i’m monitoring has been finished. his blog has been shadowbanned and as a result, his campaign is slowing. even prior to this, his campaign was rather slow. i don’t think there’s anyone actively spotlighting his campaign other than manually checking his blog and adding updates to his posts that way.

if you want to give a boost to one that most likely doesn’t have any traction, your best bet will be to check either the operation olive branch spreadsheet or the vetted fundraiser spreadsheet by el-shab-hussein and nabulsi. the OOB spreadsheet in particular has several in need of attention, especially since there’s very few people on tumblr who go to that masterlist for fundraisers to spotlight.

Hello 🩷 thank you so much! in terms of posting in that way, it's both a matter of how many photos, as well as what the ratios of all those individual photos are that will dictate the formatting possible

I've made a few posts or "moodboards" up until now with a total of 2 photos and I find that regardless of the individual ratios of each photo; once put beside eachother they default to an equal size- because I only used 2 pictures. Whereas if I made a post with 6 photos,I would have to adjust the ratios of each photo to be the same size in order to get them all to be equal in size.

As there isnt a way around this, my suggestion is to choose each moodboard to either be made only of vertical or horizontal pictures and then crop/change the ratio from there and not combine the two types to make this easier for you moving forward 🩷

banned from roblox for one day over this?? ive never been so fucking pissed before in my entire life. i attempted to get my ban appealed but of course, no fucking response. i have been working on my royale high login for 40+ days and was trying to get the year long logins badge. and now im going to lose all of that over one fucking ridiculous ban. considering the fact that i have watched people in meep city wear genitalia that had to get accepted by roblox and yet THIS gets ME banned? absolutely ridiculous. roblox, do fucking better. i was just trying to upload a new photo to my roblox group. how tf does this image result in a ban??? dont give me that shit about belly tops and how it "looks like a bra" as i said before i witnessed someone in meep city wearing an item that was literally genitalia, last fucking week. anyone else got any extremely unfair ban stories? i'd love to hear them. and if someone is in contact with roblox/works with roblox, if you ever have any chance to, consider chatting them up abt scenarios like mine because i know damn well that this isnt the first time something like this has happened to someone. (just to note, i also was recently unfairly banned from trading two times in rh and customer service with them was abysmal so at this point im starting to think im gonna quit roblox. this is absolutely fucking ridiculous and there is no explanation for why getting unbanned should be this annoying. ur a billion dollar company roblox. get your shit together.)

the only thing i have reassuring me that maybe maybe its not cankers is that the weird scattered about spots on his leaves dont have the yellow ring/halo around them. and that they dont look "corky"

they vaguely look like weird splotches he got a few months ago- except these ones are more perfectly rounded and smaller. and a lot more abundant that the ones he had last time. the last time it was only on a few leaves. this time its on more than a handful. a lot of the holes you can see on the top and bottom of the leave, not truly a hole but it is see through

on the brighter side he does have 2 new branches coming in, they both started sprouting after i had to move him inside.. theyre growing in a lot slower than they wouldve if they were still getting enough sunlight (limited window options in this house). a few of the new leaves that are still kinda... light and rubbery feeling... have some dark spots... worried about that too... but the younger growth is looking healthy so far even if the leaves arent open yet

if it turns out Leopold has cankers I'm actually going to cry because that's a death sentence for him/srs

ok so it was at a movie theater. long ass rant ahead, with pictures for your viewing pleasure

very VERY fancy looking, like the interior looked like a fucking palace, i was in a suit and tie and felt very under dressed, like jsdfhsdb that was the fancyest place ive ever been in, there were so many chandeliers. marble work, winding staircases to get to the upper floors.

so i go up those stairs and sit in the interview room...because its a group interview. the. fuck idk the word. people wanting this job slowly start coming in, and like everyone looks like there from everywhere. we were all the token whatever you wanna call us. but the people wanting the job werent important hdbfhsd

the guys coming to interview us finnaly arrive, and...it was an old guy, some guy named steeve and elon musk from wish. theyre all in polo shorts and just massive fucking dorks, but not the cool kind.

they all give us sticky notes...and ask us to write our names, and our favourite movies. i freaked out and put everything everywhere all at once, because i had just seen it and forgotten every other movie ive ever seen.

then they ask us to get into groups and give us a problem youd expect to find working a movie theater, and asked us how wed solve it... and heres where i tell you what the job title actually is: host. nothing fancy, just. host. take tickets and make sute customers find their seats. not a high position AT ALL. just some dumb fuck first job for a teenager.

after the group problem solving...they passed out printer paper and pens...and asked us to draw what movie or tv show character is most like us.

anyway, after the art bit they brought us into this weird tiny ass back room that was almost compleatly bare besides some furnature and this massive candy jar and asked "why do you think youre a good fit for this job" type questions, and as i was leaving someone dropped the "so, near or mello" question, and i said "no" then just left the room sjdhbfbhsd

OH WAIT before that, they also said "ok so this is the most important question. what.........is your favourite dinosour." that. i. fuck i dont even know.

Do you see the difference on the krill? Both the same krill, same location and flight pattern. But, the top, more recent photo, shows a strange partical effect coming off the Krill, unlike any before.

It's almost like how we get muddy at Eden or when we use a krill blocking spell. Its a very specific thing to add to an update, right before a new season that hints to reveal a bit about what may have happened in the past to kill our elders.

In past seasons we have seen that even manta can be corrupted by the dark mushrooms. Maybe the Krill are corrupted as well?

But if they are, why are there no nice krill, you ask? We do see nice crabs after all.

Well, where we see nice crabs, they are either tamed, or there is no pollution. Even mean, wild, unpolluted crabs are different than the standard crabs because they dont have a red glow when they charge you.

We have seen that the creatures we see in the sky or wandering the land were all once sea bound. And theres an awful lot of water in the Golden Wasteland. But, that water is polluted.

Perhaps this pollution corrupted the krill? It wouldn't be that big of a leap. Corrupted offspring would spread their corrupted genes during evolution.

Krill are supposed to be a very small creature, crabs don't typically look like rocks, and mantas dont typically fly. But if your habitat is changed so that it is inhabitable, you change or you cease to be.

Typically whale or larger predators eat krill, but with so few whales left, nothing to stop them from being everywhere.

I typically do my studies in graveyard near the crab spit. It's a safe place to watch how life interacts and to familiarize myself with the krill's flight patterns, or to be able to help moths in need.

Despite the large bones, you can tell that there are indeed buildings in graveyard. I believe these buildings in particular happened after the great tragedy that led to the Golden Wasteland to be a wasteland. This is largely due to the buildings.

Architecture in this world, what remains at least, is mostly identical. The structures look alike, clearly made in the same time period.

Except in Graveyard. The difference is so stark, it's not easy to identify the buildings in the Graveyard, despite us all traveling into the largest building for both a Winged Light and a spirit.

The big building with the ribcage jutting upwards to the sky, the one krill can enter with a winged light on a shelf. I believe it to be a post tragedy architecture.

This particular architecture isnt like the ones we are used to. It is made of bones and misshapen stone. Very crudely made. It was definitely made on low manpower, hastened, and without the power source we see the elders practically worship.

Those strange blue rhombus, the one we see crafted, mined, and scavenged for. Its markings are everywhere, used to make boats fly and glide on the water, to cast light, power elevators, power memory cubes, and likely very much more.

These buildings dont show any of the markings as prior buildings, and has no use of them, they were not crucial for these buildings. These buildings were made out of need and convenience. Why else use bone?

Speaking of bone, in all of sky, we have seen nothing big enough to match any of the skeletal remains. Certainly nothing with such large eye sockets.

Here is a picture of one of the skulls in this area. Those two large eye sockets on the side indicate it was a prey species, but without the lower mandible being visible, it the top even, it is impossible to tell if it was a carnivore, herbivore, or even omnivore.

But we can tell it was a prey species capable of sight and able to smell, as you can see from the hole near the tip of the skull, that is where its nose would be.

This is likely one of the many species that likely went extinct due to pollution and the great tragedy that lead to our elders lives being altered forever. If we could figure out this creatures diet, we could have the answer to why we see no land dwelling creatures that did not come from the sea, besides us and our elders.

I expect as more life is added to the game, more seasons pass, and more updates add more detail, we will discover so much more about our world how it used to be. But, this is what I have right now from the pieces I've gathered and witnessed. If you witness or discover something new, please share. Maybe together we can discover the hidden lore of Sky.

fun fact i had a jester once but, its definitely been missing for some time now. it had the energy of a bowl someone had hidden behind a hello kitty alarm clock for some random teen to find and take home from a michaels craft store. and before leaving it there to be found, theyd gotten it from their dead grandmas estate and brought it into the woods to do a ritual séance and dance naked in the dark woods in a circle of fire with the bowl for a few hours to summon a spirit into it. and then painted a hello kity on it in the center for some random teen to find and then bring home with them. and then the teen was told to bring a bowl to soak their rice in and clean it, so they did soak the rice but then the rice possessed the spirits energy. and when the people ate it they became possessed themselves and collectedly evil. red eyes and all. thats the type of energy that furby had. that was its aura. that was the entire vision displayed to you. and i think it had a curse or something cause something was definitely very wrong with it. its energy was awful and everytime i held it, it would stare through me and make mechanical sounds and thats it. it didnt have batteries in it or anything. it was like not real, like not in this reality. like working in another and not supposed to be in this one. i actually have only one surviving photo of it as well.

this photo however is very old, 4 collective years in fact, and not one id origionally taken. but was right next to the person who did. and this was back when the middle school anime club at the community library was open. never opened again after that, closed since then for maintenance:(( oh well, but anyway its actually kind of funny because all of these furbies in the photo are deceased. they are no longer in my present. in fact i havent seen any of these in years. and yes they were all mine, i used to only have those furbys actually, until these new ones in the photos at the very top made themselves known to me. now theyve taken the places of the ones in the anime club meeting photo. thats kind of interesting now that i think about it actually. maybe its the way the social circle works or something. regardless, my jester, where ever his where abouts are, are also unknown. as he was the last to dissapear of the collective. perhaps i will find myself another. one without that such a menacing energy as the endless entrails of the fake hello kitty spirit bowl. but i will tell you, i miss those anime club meetings. its been a long time.
