Based on the code replacement AU, but what if one of the other players took Caine's place. Had a lot of fun designing these outfits, I think Gangle and Ragatha's are my favorites.

Perhaps you'll be injected with padding, or heating elements, to be kept and snuggled against your will.

Perhaps you'll get your teeth sharpened, your nails replaced with claws, and forced to fight against others until you're a bleeding, broken mess.

Perhaps you'll be turned into somebody else's favorite character, redesigned, from the ground up, demoted from real person to flanderized replica.

Perhaps your limbs will be torn from you, replaced with cold, unfeeling metal, to make you taller, or shorter, or buffer, or perhaps, just maybe, to make you quadrupedal.

Perhaps you'll have your organs replaced with mechanical pumps and reactors.

Perhaps even your eyes and ears will be mechanized.

One thing is for certain, however.

You'll never be the same again.

I had this idea of what if the creature (back in the 1800's when he was still alive) had the same dream that Lisa had, but it's from his perspective and he has no clue who she is and why he's dreaming about her, but it's still like a romantic dream to him

like, he enters this cartoonish black and white world, sitting on this random person's bed, and he hears this music playing (it's probably like a more classical genre since it's from his perspective).

Then he turns his head to see this beautiful girl with big hair, sparkles on her face, and is dressed in this big gown, sit up and move over to sit next to him. he hands her a bar of soap, and they hold hands, squeezing the bar of soap so tightly that it melts in their hands. and without questioning it, they both look down to see a creepy masked person grabbing at their feet.

and the dream ends with the two of them looking back up to watch the full moon as they rest their heads against each other's. (A trip to the moon didn't exist back in the 1800's, so you just have to make do)

idk, i just thought it would be a cute and silly idea that they're sharing the same experience, but just in a different timeline and different details

Shul question of the day: why are there so many books on our free book table... Is there a jewish book fairy that goes to each shul to give us an excessive amount of books or is my shul just filled with eccentric book collectors who collect very niche books on judaism and need to get rid of them before they take over their entire house

I keep thinking there needs to be a sequel or spinoff book of The Stepford Wives but from the kids POV and them uncovering the mystery of their moms going missing.

I always start thinking when it comes to women, what about the young daughters in the stepford community? When they reach a certain age and show signs of typical teenage rebellion, do the fathers try to break that out of them and make them like their "mothers"? Do they get rid of the daughters when the social brainwashing proves ineffective and the fathers refuse to actually parent?

Or if they have some semblance of being a real man and father in them, are they allowed to let their daughters leave the community? Because if their ideal neighborhood is where their wives do their bidding and take care of them 24/7 with no thoughts or hobbies of their own -- does that go the same for their daughters?
