Hello! I would like to make a request about Dae-Ho, a character I love. I would like the story to show how Dae-Ho and the reader develop a special connection during the games, despite being on opposite sides. She is part of Thanos' team, but they still interact frequently. On one of those nights, they kiss and promise to get to know each other better once it's all over. However, that promise is not fulfilled because she dies in the carousel game.
I hope this story fits the bill. Happy holidays! <3
Anything Is Possible?
KANG DAE-HO X READER
Summary- You are number 230's, rapper Choi Su-bong, sister. Just because you are on 'Thanos Team', does that mean you can Dae-Ho cant get together? Will you survive long enough?
Warnings- Squid Games, Angst, mentions of blood, murder, and death
A/N- I combined this ask with another anon request, "badass reader and daeho! maybe she is related to 100 and that's why the romance is kind of forbidden but she doesn't agree with his actions and thinks daeho is very cute. I would love a first kiss between the two, which she initiated and he was all embarrassed but really excited" I hope y'all don't mind, they were very similar!
Word Count- 4,605

"What is your problem!" You found yourself yelling at your brother. While this was not uncommon, the situation surely was. Thanos the rapper, or just known as Choi Su-bong to you, had pushed several people down on purpose. This killed them in the Red light, Green light game.
"You killed them!" You continued, though he did not seem to care.
"Look, as far as 'The Thanos' is concerned, each body means more cash for MOI!" He spoke, uncaring.
"Oh, and if it was me, would you let me get shot!" You crossed your arms, eyeing him up and down.
He looked around, checking for any guards. He then slipped out his cross form under his shirt. You knew he had some kind of drug in there.
"Look, if it will shut you up, you can have one. But keep your mouth closed!" He ushered his cross in your direction. You rolled your eyes.
"I'd like to at least be aware of my surrounding in a death defying game!" "Shhh, Shhhh!" His face scrunched up as he looked at you, offended. He thought someone might have been drawn to your choice words.
You scoffed and walked off, sitting on the edge of a bed to catch a train of thought.
With a puff, you pressed your head into your hands. Could you really go on like this? Risking your life? Then it hit you, your life was over either way. Loan sharks were bound to kill you the second you left... Might as well go out with a bang?
The gruesome thought lingered until you felt the bed sink next to you.
"Thanos, I don't want to-" You looked up to not see your brother. Instead a man with a '388' on his jacket.
"Well I'm not sure who 'Thanos' is, but are you doing okay?" He looked genuinely concerned.
You started at him for a second, "Like fifty people just died..."
He faltered, "W-well yeah... Obviously you aren't okay... I just, I saw you arguing with that guy... The one with purple hair." You sigh again at his response. Well, this might be the last conversation you ever have. Why not be an open book!
"That's my brother. He thinks since he got one hit song, he can boss anyone around." You again rolled your eyes at the thought of him.
"Oh... I see. I-I have three older sisters, I know how it can get." He said, trying to offer you some sort of condolence.
You gave a side smile at him, appreciative of his efforts. "Thanks... What got you into these games?" You figured there's no reason for 'proper exchanges.' What was the point anymore?
He seemed ashamed at the question. "Sorry, if it makes you feel any better- I'm about 30 million won in debt. Some online crypto coin my brother swindled me into. Lost big time." You explained.
He shook his head, "No, no, its fine. See, I was a marine. Couldn't find a job after I got out. Guess I just got carried away with the wrong people... Got into some bad loans."
You gave a sympathetic face. "That sucks..." He just nodded sheepishly.
A silence fell between you two, but it wasn't awkward or annoying. It just...was.
"Well, uh, which are you going to vote?" He asked like it had been on the tip of his tongue all day.
As the Guards had told us earlier, we would get a chance to vote before the next game. Stay or Go.
"My brother seems pretty adamant on staying... And I honestly don't think it would be smart to piss him off anymore. He's got me in his little clique already." You didn't really know which one you would have chosen if the vote was anonymous.
He nodded in understanding. "I mean, I don't have a groupie or anything. But, you could stick with me if you wanted."
Your heart fluttered. Looking up at him, you seemed to just notice how handsome he was... Then reality hit.
"I deeply appreciate that... But I think you might have better odds without me. Choi- uh Thanos, would probably do something to you... I don't really want to risk it, I'm sorry." You knew that you really did want to be on his team, but you also knew how your brother was.
He had a slight look of defeat on his face, "I get it. I feel confident about the next game. I mean, if they're all children games, how hard can it be? I'll vote the same as you."
You agreed, "Then, maybe I can talk to Thanos? See if he wants another member?" You smiled at him.
He opened his mouth to speak, happily, but the two of you were interrupted when the pink guards came back in. Letting everyone know it was time to vote.
"See ya on the other side." You said, standing up to rejoin Thanos. Plus his newly acquired group of 3.
"Yes ma'am!" He responded, giving a small salute. You just laughed as you glanced at him a last time.
------------------------------------------
"Are you crazy!" Thanos whisper-yelled at you, turning the two of you away from the group. "Are you tryna embarrass me in front of my boys!" He scolded you like a child. His arms and shoulders going up.
"It's not that big of a deal, he was a marine, he could be good for us." Thanos just "tsked' in response.
"No. We are already perfecto. No more room." He said as-a-matter-of-fact. His arms making an 'X.'
You turned and looked at the two men staring at you. "Thanos, there are four of us in total. What if the next game is five players!"
"Huh, and what if its four! Then I'd be pushing YOU out, Cause of ya mouth." He made faces at you, then laughed loudly. "I'm just joking sistah! I'd only do that if you really pissed me off.... We are sticking to four." His expression turned serious.
"Fine."
At a mere coincidence, you turned around and saw '388' staring at you. You mouthed a 'sorry' and shook your head. Signalling Thanos said 'no.'
He nodded, then smiled at you anyways. At that, you watched him walk over and sit with a group of 'X's.
------------------------------------------
The lights soon went out. You laid back in your bed, trying to get some kind of sleep. It was useless, especially when you heard a 'psst' right next to you.
You turned your head, playing cool, even though it did startle you a bit. "Shh, It's just me." The voice rang familiar, and when you squinted your eyes in the dark your made out number 388's face. He was on his knees, crouched down next to your bed.
"What are you doing!" You whispered at him, sitting up quickly. Thanos and his two members were just a bed away.
"Shhhh, I have something to tell you." He said, his hands were waving slightly, a nervous tick.
You eyed him, moving closer. "What?"
"One of the guys has played these before. He said he won the games...That he knows which one is next."
Your hands rise to rub sleep from your eyes, "Really? You think he's telling the truth?"
With a frantic nod he continues, "It was the guy who knew about the Red light, Green light. Number 456."
You looked down, "Why are you telling me this..." You questioned, unaware of any kind of unconditional kindness.
"I want you to survive, why else?" You locked eyes with him. They were honest and pure.
"Well, what's the next game?" You didn't know how to respond to such generosity. For all he knew you would stab him in the back. Not that you could bring yourself to, not after he snuck over to tell you.
"He said its Dalgona. Ya know, the game where you scratch out the candy shape?" You knew the game, having played it in your youth.
"Make sure you pick the Triangle. It's the easiest one." You nodded.
At that, a shuffle made both of you turn your head. Thanos moved in his sleep, rolling over. His eyes were closed, but he was now facing you.
"You better go, in case he wakes up." You warned, not wanting any drama.
His head shook in agreeance, he raised to walk off.
"Wait!" You whispered, he looked back. "What's your name?"
"Dae-Ho. Dae-ho Kang."
"Thank you, Dae-ho..." The corners of your face rose, almost grinning at yourself saying his name.
He gave a small wave of his hand, another salute. You suppressed a giggle, and laid back down. Sleep came easier this time...
------------------------------------------
"Welcome to your second game, this game will be played in teams. Please divide into teams of five in the next ten minutes."
You looked around, Dalgona was not a team game. Had Dae-Ho lied to you? No, why else would he sneak over in the middle of the night. It didn't make sense. Maybe 456 was lying?
"Should have listened to me, now we have to find another person." You remarked to your brother, smugly.
"Trust trust, my skeptic sister. Thanos has got this under control!" He spoke about himself, immediately levitating to the closest attractive women. You, once again, found yourself rolling your eyes.
"Señorita, excuse me?" You wanted to physically face palm at his attempt at a pickup line.
------------------------------------------
Quickly enough, time selection was up. Everyone was orderly sat in their groups. Conveniently, Dae-Ho and his group sat behind you.
"Dae-Ho." You called, moving to be in his range of sight.
"Ahh, hey!" He said, excitedly. His demeanor changing from skittish when he saw you.
"So, what happened to Dalgona?" You asked, not blaming him- just curious.
He gave an unsure face, equally as confused. "He said the games must not be the same. I'm sorry."
"What for?" You beamed, knowing it was not his fault.
He laughed, "I guess I don't know.."
You just shook your head humorously. "Which game are you going to do?"
"Uhmm, Gong-Gi... My sister's played it a lot, so I'm used to it."
"They've got me doing spinning top. I was never any good at Gong-Gi." You made a glance to Thanos, he was high out of his mind. You caught him slipping Nam-Gyu a pill. He didn't notice you talking to Dae-Ho.
"I wish you the best of luck!" He gave a quick bow of the head.
------------------------------------------
The game went smoothly enough. Though, it took much longer than Red light, Green light. Watching all of the teams go one at a time was excruciating.
A handful of words exchanged with Dae-Ho while waiting was calming, it grounded you. He had nothing to gain by helping you, he simply did. It was flattering.
You and Dae-Ho had figured out that his team was going last. It was nerve-wracking to think about him not making it. No one had ever effected you like this before...
Eventually your team went, suffering frequent verbal degration from Thanos and Nam-Gyu. Thankfully your team made it with 8 seconds to spare. Too close for your comfort.
The worst part came when you had to wait. You felt like you could hear a large clock ticking right by your ear.
Would Dae-Ho's team make it? You didn't doubt his Gong-Gi skills, but he was dependent on the skills of his team mates as well. It was terrifying to think they were shot with not enough time to complete the games.
You couldn't bare Thanos bantering, he complained about every survivor. It just made you more paranoid about Dae-Ho's possible death.
Trying to settle your mind, you stepped away from your group, preferring to sit by yourself on the edge on the steps. You picked at your nails, praying he would make it.
Minutes and minutes went by. No one had come out in a while. Was the game finished? Did they die?
Just as you were about to return to your brother hopeless, one last group appeared.
A gasp left you as you watched Dae-Ho's team emerge. You stood up, cheering with a handful of other players. Your hands were clasped gleefully In front of you.
Dae-Ho's gaze was fixed on you, he chuckled. His first raised in victory.
You gave him a salute back.
------------------------------------------
You managed to slip away from Thanos. He was too busy hitting on Se-Mi. You were grateful for her, it took some of the pressure and attention off of you. You had to remember to thank her later.
"Dae-Ho!" You called out, he turned around and stepped away from his group.
"You were amazing! You went 'Wooshhh' and got the top first try!" He was practically bouncing on his heels. He mimicked the process of spinning a top with his hands and body.
"Thank you, Thank you." You pretended like you were bowing to an applauding audience.
"How did Gong-Gi go?" You asked, antsy. He rubbed the back on his neck.
He grinned deep, "Would you believe me if I said I got it first try too?"
Your face lit up, "Really!"
"I swear it!" He placed a hand across his chest.
You gave a quick clap to him, "I knew you could do it!"
You felt like a schoolgirl again. Talking to Dae-Ho made you feel like a blushing bride. He was such a ray of light and hope for you.
"What do you think the next game is?" He questioned, taking a seat on a step by the large doors.
You thought for a second, "I don't know, Maybe some kind of mind game. Since the last two have been really physical."
He nodded, "Yeah, maybe, maybe. Thats smart thinking."
You joined him on the step facing him. While you were about to change the conversation, you overheard a few people talk about what they were voting next. It reminded you of the real life-or-death situation you were in.
"So, d'ya think you're going to change your vote?" You became more solemn.
"...Yeah, I just... The others have convinced me. I mean, truly, I shouldn't have voted 'stay' in the first place..." He looked down, almost as if he had disappointed you.
"Honestly, Dae-Ho... I want to leave too... But, but, what if I press 'leave', and we still have to continue the games. Then Thanos would be pissed, and deep down I need him. He's still my brother." You hated the fact, but you were scared of what Thanos would do.
Dae-Ho thought for a moment. He mumbled something you didn't quite catch. "What?" He stood up.
"I can protect you. Honest. With my life." Your breath hitched, you stood up as well.
You shook your head, a lump forming in your throat. "Oh Dae-Ho... That's just the thing. I can't have you risking your life. Not for me."
He gently lifted your hands into his. "You are worth risking my life for."
"Dae-Ho, you don't even know my name." Your voice quivered.
He nodded quick, "Then lets change that. What's your name." You bit your bottom lip before telling him.
"Now, I can defend you from Thanos. He won't do anything to do." He ended with your name, it sounded angelic coming from his mouth.
"I'm sorry... I just... can't." You let go of his hands, fully set on walking away. But, he stopped you. He grasped your shoulder.
"Please don't go. I'll stop talking about it, I swear." He pleaded. He truly just wanted to be with you, he was content with you.
And you were with him.
You closed your eyes, shook your head. You fought off any kind of objection. "Okay."
The two of you talked and talked, time ran past. You no longer seemed to worry about the games, just that you knew you wanted to stay with Dae-Ho.
Until, the large doors opened and the pink guards once again announced a vote.
You said a quick 'goodbye' to Dae-ho, hoping the games wouldn't continue. Even if you never saw him again, at least he would be alive.
------------------------------------------
Much to your dismay, the games would continue another round. The vote wasn't even close this time. It was almost relieving, knowing that your vote was not the determining factor.
Once again, the lights went out to signify the night. You noticed teams were huddling together for protection, taking shifts and keeping watch. It was getting more serious as each hour went by. You could not find rest, feeling extremely uneasy.
While you tried to find some sort of reassurance in Thanos, he was fast asleep. You decided to take your chance and go see Dae-Ho. Just as he had done for you.
You knew the general area where his group was, but couldn't make out specific people in the dark. Not from your distance.
You racked up the nerve to quietly shuffle over. Your socks helping to muffle any noise.
"Shh, someone is coming." You heard a man whisper, it was 456. You could see the large numbers next to the 'O' on his jacket.
"I-is Dae-Ho with you..." You ask, shakily.
"And what do you want with him?" A man next to 456 spoke, defensively.
"I- Hes my friend, I need to talk to him." You tried, fiddling with your fingers.
"Yeah, Sure he is. You're probably trying to get in and take one of us out, huh!" The man 390 rose, acting like he was ready to fight.
You stepped back, "No, really, I swear I'm not!"
You heard your name, a confused Dae-Ho crawled out from under a bed. "Dae-Ho, please tell them in not trying to kill any of you."
"What?" He was still weary from sleep, rubbing his eyes. Once he saw the position you and 390 were in, He quickly stepped between the two of you.
"No, No, she wouldn't do that. Really, whatever shes saying she's telling the truth." Dae-Ho came to your rescue.
"Can we talk Dae-Ho?" You stepped closer to him, both of your hands gently resting on his arm. He nodded rapidly, stepping away from his group.
The two of you found a cluster of abandoned beds, and sat on the floor between them
"Are you okay? Did someone hurt you?" He looked you over for any visible infliction's.
"No, no I'm fine..." You pulled your knees to your chest. "I just wanted to see you." You felt silly once it left your lips.
His face flushed beet red, you could even tell in the dark. His hair falling in his face made you reach a hand out and brush it back. "O-oh"
"You never told me what you think the next game is, Dae-Ho." You needed a distraction.
He shook his head, like he was getting some thoughts out. "I have no idea... I just hope its an easy one. Gi-Hun, uh 456, said that they've already played Tug-of-war, Marbles, and some kind of glass stepping game. So, uh, I would assume none of those would repeat."
"I'm glad I missed Tug-of-war... That would mean the number of survivors would be half..." You thought.
He changed the subject, beginning with your name. "What's wrong? I know you said you wanted to see me, but, I guess I don't understand why."
"Dae-Ho, I don't really know why either. I just, wanted to be with you. I feel safe with you. I feel like I'm alone anytime you walk away..." You blinked away a stray tear.
Dae-Ho was lost in thought, he had thought his feelings weren't reciprocated. Maybe they were after all?
He didn't have time to speak, because you have lounged yourself forward in a burst of confidence. You wrapped your arms around his neck, and pushed him to the floor. He was laid on his back with you on top of him, as you pressed a hard kiss to his lips.
His eyes widened, his body went rigid. When you pulled away to look at him, he stammered. "I-I, Uhm."
At his reaction you pulled away quickly, "I'm so sorry, I thought-"
"Can you please do that again." He was now giddy, a fat smile on his face. Excitement radiated out of him. "A-are you sure.. You seemed so..."
"No, no, you just caught me off guard, please, please kiss me again." He scrambled to a sit, hoping you would come closer again.
With a refound joy, you moved closer. This time you went slow, making sure to bask in the moment. You once again wrapped your arms around Dea-Ho's neck, pulling him in for a kiss.
"You're perfect.." He mumbled against your lips. Though, he felt something wet on his face. He pulled away, his eyes soft, "Whats wrong?"
You sniffled, "Promise me. Promise me, that after everything is over, that we will find each other." You asked, pressing your cheek against his.
"I swear it, I swear we will meet after the games." He leaned in for another kiss.
------------------------------------------
"Welcome to your third game. The game you will be playing is Mingle."
Okay, this one seemed safe. You had a large group, this can work. You tried to be positive, you had someone to look forward to after the game.
"Heyyy, we'll be mingling together. Doesn't that sound like so much fun?" Thanos went on, trying to hype everyone up. The only one who was just as high as him was Nam-Gyu. It worried you that he wasn't fully aware of his surroundings, but at least he wasn't on your tail about everything.
"Please step onto the center platform. When the game starts, the platform will begin to rotate, and you will hear a number. You must form groups of that size, go into the rooms, and close the door within 30 seconds."
You nodded, understanding the rules. Everyone gathered to the platform. You noticed groups staying together, huddling close.
While following Thanos, you passed Dae-Ho's group, you caught his eye and gave him a small salute. It seemed the two of you now had an inside joke.
"Let the game, begin."
At the jump and pull of the platform, you almost lost your balance. You reached a hand out and held onto your brother. He looked over at you, for a split second he actually seemed like your brother. He was there for you.
That's until a muffled snort came from Nam-Gyu. Thanos pushed your hand off, laughing at you.
You sighed and thought of a smart remark, but the platform stopped spinning and a 'Ten' rang out.
Thanos laughed loudly, "We needa four!!" He screamed, shaking his face all about.
"Were four!" A man yelled back, and Thanos took off running. Your eyes widened and you ran after him. "Run, Hurry!" You yelled at Se-Mi, who had stopped to grab Min-Su.
Luckily everyone had made it to the room, just as the door shut the timer went off. The door locked shut. You peaked out of the doors small slit. You didn't see Dae-Ho. A good sign.
Multiple gunshots rang out, each making your body jolt.
"Ha Ha! My family! We did it!" Thanos bantered, clapping some of the men on their backs.
When the doors finally opened again, you looked around. You looked and looked for Dae-Ho. Finally sighing in relief when you saw him. He ran over to you.
"You're okay, thank God!" He hugged you, you held him tight.
You swallowed hard, "It's not over yet. I'll find you after the next round!" You said, quickly finding Thanos again.
"Yeahhhh! Easyyy!" Him and Nam-Gyu joked back and forth. They started dancing to the music as the platform started rotating again.
'Four'
Thanos stopped and looked at his group for a minute. "Gyeong-su, you're with me!" He grabbed his hand, pulling him.
"Damn!" Nam-Gyu said, gripping your arm and pulling you. While you were happy to be chosen, you were worried for Min-su and Se-Mi.
"Lets goooo!" Thanos yelled once we were all in the room.
"Thanos what was that! Gyeong-su over me!" You pointed your finger at him.
"I swear I thought I was pulling you! Besides, you gotta stop running your mouth. You made it, you're fine!"
You couldn't believe what he was saying. Sure, he talked a lot about leaving you. But it was always just talk? Right?
The door opened once again, you were thankful to be away from Thanos. Your new objective was to find Dae-Ho now.
This time, the second you saw him- you ran to him. You no longer cared about what Thanos thought, nor what he'd do.
"I'm so happy to see you." Dae-Ho mumbled into your hair, which his face had been shoved into right after you ran into his arms.
"I have to stay with you, Thanos tried to leave me. I can't make it with him." Dae-Ho didn't hesitate, and pulled you over to his group.
Though, Thanos didn't like that. "Yo, brotha. What're you doing with my sister!" He tried to shove Dae-Ho, but he was bigger and stronger.
The platform started to spin.
"Leave her alone, you obviously cant take care of your sister." He ushered you behind him.
"I don't know what you're talking about bro! I save her, shes only alive because of me and Nam-Gyu!" He argued, leaving out the crucial part of information where he wasn't the one who grabbed you.
"It doesn't matter anymore. I will keep her safe now, you can mind your own business and get along with Nam-Gyu."
They continued to yell and argue over the carousel's music, it was difficult to hear them. Until,
'Three'
Thanos gripped one of your arms, Dae-Ho held another.
"Thanos, let go!" You yelled, trying to pull from his grasp.
It was chaotic, screaming was heard around you. "Dae-Ho, this way!" Two men yelled out, Dae-Ho twisted his head but didn't move.
Your stomach dropped. You couldn't be the reason Dae-Ho would die. You were all running out of time.
"Dae-Ho, go. Please! I'll go with Thanos and Nam-Gyu!"
"I'm not leaving you!" He was adamant about protecting you. Damned everyone else.
"If you don't go, we will all die. Time is running out!" Dae-Ho battled internally, you let go of his hand.
"Go! It's okay, I'll see you in a minute!"
He didn't want to leave, he couldn't. But you made him. When he slowly walked backwards, you let out a relived sigh. You then turned to run with Thanos. Nam-Gyu was already in a room, his yelling ushering you two forward.
It was going to be okay, The three of you in a room. Everything was fine. There was time.
Until, Nam-Gyu moved out of the way... Gyeong-su was behind him... There was already two in the room. Thanos ran in, not thinking twice.
Your running came to a stop right outside of the door. Where Thanos himself had closed it on you.
A "NO!" Was heard from across the room. It was Dae-Ho. He tried to come to you, but he was too far.
Player 456 and player 001 were pulling him into a room. Forcing the door shut. You could see Dae-Ho looking out of the door slit, his hands peaking out as well.
You didn't turn to see what Thanos might have been doing. You didn't care. Not anymore.
You just wanted your last moment to be looking at the most handsome man you'd ever met. His soft eyes were filled with tears as he watched you.
You weren't upset, not scared, not nervous. Not anymore.
It would all be over soon.
You gave him one last salute before a loud bang rang out.
A/N- Not going to lie ya'll, I ate that up. But I still love hearing y'all's constructive criticism! Please LMK if you want to be added to my tag list, TYSM for reading!

OT - Cursed into a dog
Summary: On Empire Life’s day, Vader disappeared. That same day, the Emperor paraded with a black dog leashed to his side, its muzzle forcibly shut and its fur darker than the blackest durasteel.
Notes:
Dog!Vader
Era: Original Trilogy
Characters: Firmus Piett, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker.
Main tropes: Non-consensual Animal Transformation, Angst, Happy Ending
Snippet:
One day his Superior in command disappeared and the Death Squadron was disbanded. The same day, the Emperor began to show off his new black dog. On the rare occasion Piett was unlucky enough to accompany his new superior to the throne room, he could see the beast snarl and bite as it struggled against its chains. The binds remained strong and each time, the dog’s struggle was in vain.
Piett wondered about the way the dog tensed when Palpatine gave it an order. He wondered about how sometimes the dog looked into his eyes and seemed to see Piett’s soul. He wondered about Darth Vader’s mysterious disappearance. Piett wondered about a great many things, but he knew better than to open his mouth. The Empire gave lethal rewards for free speech.
Months laters, the rebellion won and the dog disappeared from Piett’s sight. By the time his trial was done and any accusation dispelled under obeying orders, no one knew what happened to the late Emperor’s pet. There were whispers about the beast having turned the tide of the fight against the Emperor, giving the last blow. There were rumors about Jedi whisking the dog away, defending it against any who would try to put the beast down.
Piett pieced the events together well enough. A tension felt removed from his shoulders at the knowledge his previous superior found somewhere safe. He did not share the knowledge with anyone, rather keeping the secret safe in his heart. Yet, a doubt remains. Would the Jedi truly forgive the man who hunted them down?
One day, they see the black dog again. It’s dozing in the sun on a familiar-looking young man’s lap, looking much healthier than it had ever been at the palace. Piett remembers seeing the young Jedi face on the Holo. Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker. He had been the figurehead of rebellion propaganda, before disappearing into nowhere.
The young man pet the dog. The dog’s tail wag happily in answer. A smile pulled on Piett’s lips. No matter the past, the two seem to have become good friends. There was no worry to be had.
#As I saw the scene#the third observer could very well be someone other than Piett#and Luke doesn’t have to be the one who ends up with Vader-dog.#But i thought i’d share it that way!#cross posted on ao3#This is only the first of several dozen prompts#I’ll post one per week on ao3#Maybe here too if i have the energy#even stars burn out#star wars#anakin skywalker#darth vader#vaderkin#sw#star wars au#sinvulkt fics#Sinvulkt#writing prompt#prompt#star wars prompt#sinvulkt prompts#firmus piett#luke skywalker#dog vader#dad vader#luke and vader#pray for piett#he is a tired worried sweet man#ao3#star wars fanfiction

I am so tired of how Quotev/Wattpad level fanfiction, written by what reads as a 15 year old getting into their first fandom, gets pushed up the book ratings in the gay romance genre (m/m). Why is Red White and Royal Blue always at the top. Why is Boyfriend Material. Why must I suffer. Where are the standards. Why is a 30/40 year old recommending me, a grown adult man, stories that feel like they were written for highschoolers who don't like to read so they pick up the trashiest, most easily digestible shit in order to have the bare minimum of fun while doing their reading interpretation project for class.
This is coming from someone who had fun reading goddamn Twilight by the way. I'm not a book snob. I can enjoy objectively bad media if it's fun. My favourite book series with LGBT main characters is All For The Game, and that's a shitshow! But at least there's passion in it! There's fun!
I am going insane!!!!!
#my new technique is seeing which gay books tiktok hates#I always like those#honestly I think I'll just drop romance books entirely by this point.#fanfic is usually so nice to me on the romance department anyway#why am I paying for subpar shit that a goddamn fic author on ao3 does perfectly and better#i am so tired of the current state of popular romantic gay books#feel free to rb btw this is not a deeply personal post or anything#i am so tired#how the fuck are popular gay books so low in quality#like its not even about taste and opinion it's about straight up standards#like aristle abd dante is an objectively good book even though I was meh about it#I might not have personally enjoyed it that much but I can give it high praise#but boyfriend material? the american british one? really????#i liked the gentleman's guide when I first read but... I went back to it and it's kind of meh too#but when I first read it I was the target audience so. i can give it a decent rating too I guess#even though the characters are... kinda flat#aaaaaaaaaaa#I am so done#gotta start ignoring book recs and look for books with like. 2 reviews#unblemished by tiktok#published out of blood sweat and tears

Okay!!! So I love dae ho because he's like the sweetest guy ever and if he dies I will kms. But I was wondering if you could make an X reader where the reader has a bubbly personality and shares food with dae ho. I just think that would be so adorable. And it can be gender neutral I don't mind!!! Thank you!!! Have a good day!!
Food for Thought?
KANG DAE-HO X READER
Summary- Just as the request asks, Reader and Dae-Ho share food after one of the games, rekindling. Perchance someone is asked out >:)
Warnings- Squid Games, murder, and death
A/N- I know I have been MIA for a while, I'm so sorry guys! It's been difficult to write lately, especially with my schedule. I hope this one delivers, and hold you guys over until the next fic!
Word Count- 1,047
"What'cha thinking?" You ask player 388 as you flopped down next to him on a bed. He was sat at the edge, nervously picking at his food.
His head jerked up at your sudden movement, but he softened upon seeing your smile. You didn't blame him for being twitchy. The last game was a close one... Mingle would have left you for dead if Dae-Ho hadn't grabbed you last second for '2'.
"Ah, not much."
------------------------------------------
The door let out a noise as the lock clicked. The two of you were safe... "Dae-Ho... You saved me!" You gave him no time to think, you jumped up and wrapped your arms around his neck. A thankful hug that lasted longer than 'friends' would have let it.
His own arms wrapped around you waist, he held you tight. You could practically feel his heart rate beat against you. His heart was racing, as was yours. The two of you stood together, bodies pressed against each other's.
"Thank you..." You whispered in his neck. When you heard the voice announce '2', you panicked thinking Dae-Ho had went with Jun-Hee. But he didn't, he ran from behind you and grasped your forearm. You had no choice but to run with him.
He nodded back in response, you felt his head move. At that you pulled back. Just enough to see his face, but keep your arms around his neck.
------------------------------------------
You sat criss-crossed on your legs, turned to face him. "Oh come on, I can see it on your face. Your mind must be running so fast."
He continued to pick at his food, a complete opposite from any other meal time. He was always the first to finish, eager to eat.
"How about this," You sat up straight, ready to present your idea. You pretended to 'set the scene' pushing your hands out. You dramatically looked around, then leaned in close to him.
"I will offer your ONE of my gimbap rolls, if you tell me..." You side-eyed him, waiting for his response.
You could tell he was fighting a smile, but he shook his head. "No way, only one? That's like one bite for someone like me!"
With a laugh and raised eyebrows, "Someone like you? What's that supposed to mean." You asked, comically.
He 'Hmphed' and raised up his sleeve. "A marine! We need good food, and lots of it to stay bulked."
A loud laugh left your lips, and you quickly covered it with your hands. A smirk and a shake of your head later, you found yourself pretending to think. A finger on your chin, humming, the whole shebang. "Fine, TWO rolls. That's my final offer." You crossed your arms, looking serious.
He simply grinned and eyed you, holding eye contact. You blinked, but he continued to stare. Your shoulders dropped. "Three?"
The sides of his lips turned up into a full smile now, "Deal, but I get to eat first!" You raised a fist in triumph, "Okay, okay!"
You unwrapped the tinfoil on your gimbap, opening it so the two of you could share. Ironically, he ignored his own wrap and reached for one of your rolls first. He delicately picked it up, but didn't eat it.
He instead raised it to your lips, "Dae-Ho it's for you." You giggled out.
"Hey, you never said I had to eat it. Here, you need it just as much as I do." You couldn't fight him, and simply took a bite from the piece he had. You laughed with a full mouth as you tried to pick up any falling crumbs.
He shoved the rest of the roll into his mouth, but not before joining your laugh.
"Ugh, I'm a mess sorry." He shook his head at your words, "No, no you're really not..." His words were sweet laced and genuine.
He again looked into your eyes, but it wasn't playful anymore. It was lovingly, in admiration. Your cheeks began to ache with how big you were smiling. Your face must have been beet red.
"So, hows it taste?" He asked. "Uh, Kinda dry if I'm being honest.." He only snorted, agreeing.
The two of you went on like that, practically feeding each other Gimbap. You even managed to sneak a roll or two from his own wrap. He noticed, but didn't mind.
You both joked and teased each other, nothing but carefree conversation. He seemed much more relaxed and happier.
You were unaware that you had moved closer to him, your sides touching now. It was comforting.
At the last bite, Dae-Ho swiped his hands together, clapping them to get any left seasoning off. With a sigh, he slouched down slightly.
"Dae-Ho we don't need to talk about it if you don't want to..." You didn't want to intrude, truly it was none of your business.
"No, its okay. I guess I was just thinking about what I'm going to do after all this. Assuming, ya know, we get out of here." His grim comment made your body give a shiver.
"Well, what are your plans?" You pressed further, now more interested.
He fiddled with his fingers, "It's stupid." he shook his idea away. "No, whatever it is- its not."
Nodding, he responded. "Well, I'd probably finally get up the courage to ask someone out. A nice place, though I'd most likely still make a fool of myself. I just want to make someone feel special." He laughed his own remark off, rubbing the back of his neck.
"You'd be perfect, Dae-Ho. That sounds so lovely.. Who's this lucky person?" You had butterflies in your stomach, hoping and wishing that person was you.
His head slowly rose to look at you, his blush darkened. Your grin widened. "Of course I'd go out with you, the first day we get out of here, i'm all yours..."
"Really?" His hands quickly held yours, though still lightly.
"Yes really, you're the sweetest guy I've ever met Dae-Ho.." His grip tightened.
"I promise, if we get out of here I'll give you the best date ever.." He was giddy just thinking about it, now planning what exotic places to take you and show you off.
"When, when we get out of here." You leaned in and pressed a kiss to his lips.
A/N- Not my fav post about him, but I enjoyed writing it! I will try my very hardest to get a Nam-Gyu fic out this week as well! Please lmk if it felt rushed, or if you have any tips for me!

AO3 has been scraped, once again.
As of the time of this post, AO3 has been scraped by yet another shady individual looking to make a quick buck off the backs of hardworking hobby writers. This Reddit post here has all the details and the most current information. In short, if your fic URL ends in a number between 1 and 63,200,000 (inclusive), AND is not archive locked, your fic has been scraped and added to this database.
I have been trying to hold off on archive locking my fics for as long as possible, and I've managed to get by unscathed up to now. Unfortunately, my luck has run out and I am archive locking all of my current and future stories. I'm sorry to my lovelies who read and comment without an account; I love you all. But I have to do what is best for me and my work. Thank you for your understanding.
#Reblogged another post similar to this before but I'm going to tag peeps I know are on ao3#psa#Have i missed anyone? Oof#Unfortunately the people that may uh yk be DEAD can't even do this which is just... Argh.#I hate Gen AI#I hate this so much.#Also Clyde ik you've got fics locked so that's good but for awareness I'm tagging you too 😭#I'm so tired of this man... The point is to tire us all out of fighting back I know it's just#Why do people have to be greedy all the time :(

dividers by @cafekitsune & @saradika-graphics!
joel miller realizes that love isn’t just a four letter word…
"Southeast perimeter’s clear. Heading west by the river bed."
“Wow, you’re finally gonna stop gettin’ us lost out here, sunshine?”
“Lost? Please, you cried when I found that shortcut through the cedar thicket.”
Joel listens to you and Tommy bicker over the radio, a forgotten cup of coffee going cold at his side. That's all he can do when you're out there—patrolling in the snow with a few others. He's not proud of how he just sits by like some anxious house wife, listening to the static between check-ins, but he can't make himself focus on anything other than the way your bright voice filters in and out.
He tries not to hover. Tries not to keep the handheld clutched like it's a goddamn lifeline. But he does, eyes glued to the thing like it might crack open and spill you out if he stares hard enough.
Joel's really not even supposed to be listening in like this. Maria's chewed him out more times than he can count each time she catches him hunched over an old radio that he's never bothered turning in, says it'll do him more harm than good worrying over it.
Besides, these channels aren't meant for civilians sitting on their asses at home. He knows that, because that's exactly what he is now—civilian adjacent. Half-retired.
Tommy jokes about it every once in a while, the way Joel's slowed down, the way his joints complain louder than they used to. A while back, he might've laughed too. Now, every little twinge of pain feels like a reminder of what he used to be.
Joel used to be the one they all looked to out on patrol. He could track better, shoot cleaner, navigate faster than most of the younger guys. That's not the case these days. His patrolling has slowed down over the past few years. He only goes out a few times every couple of months, if even that.
He tells himself it’s by choice.
It’s not, not at all. He’s tired. His knees ache after long rides. His busted shoulder can’t handle the cold without locking up. Jackson’s got a whole rotation now, young joints, faster reflexes, eyes that don’t blur when the wind hits just right. So he doesn’t go out much anymore. Not unless the group is short. Not unless they really need him.
It makes sense. He knows it makes sense.
That doesn’t make it feel right. You out there, miles away in knee-deep snow with a rifle strapped to your back while he’s stuck here. Not out there. Not beside you.
Joel knows you can handle yourself—hell, you’ve proven that a dozen times over. You’re younger. Strong. Fast. Smart as a whip. You can shoot the cap off a beer bottle and you handle a knife better than most people your age.
Knowing all that still doesn’t quiet the feeling of unease that eats away at him each time you strap on your gear and kiss him goodbye with a, See you later, Miller. Strolling out the door like it’s casual. Like it’s nothing.
There’s a kind of helpless fury in it. A sick twist in his gut every time he watches you ride out. Like he’s some retired goddamn hunting dog. Trusted to guard the porch, but not sharp enough to run with the pack anymore.
Joel adjusts the volume dial on the radio like it’ll make your voice stay longer.
Tommy’s laugh cuts through the speaker. “Didn’t cry. I got snow in my eye.”
“In July? Sure.”
It comes in grainy and light, full of that same teasing bite you always give Tommy—enough to make Joel’s jaw tighten with a quiet, helpless kind of fondness. He almost smiles, but it doesn’t reach past the tight pull in his chest. You’re still picking your way through territory where any tree line might be hiding something.
Joel shifts in his seat, elbows on the table, jaw clenched tight. He tells himself you’re fine. You always are. You have to be.
The channel goes still for a few beats. Then, a crack of static. Some muffled shuffling. And—
“Wait—something’s moving in the trees. Left side, just past the ridge.”
Your voice. Sharper now. Less teasing and pointedly quiet.
“Copy,” Tommy replies, suddenly serious. “Keep eyes on—”
A burst of noise. A flurry of panicked voices overlapping and shouts. The unmistakable sound of gunfire.
Then nothing.
Dead air.
Joel’s heart drops to his boots. “Tommy?” he barks into the receiver. “Come in. What the hell’s happening out there?”
When there’s no answer, Joel shoots to his feet. The chair scrapes across the floor harshly as he crosses the room in two large strides, fumbling for his jacket. “Tommy? Goddammit, someone answer me!”
Nothing.
Joel’s heart thuds violently against his ribcage as he stares at the little black box in his hand like it’s an omen. He feels it rush in all at once—panic, guilt, helpless rage curling cold and mean in his chest. His ears are ringing so loud he doesn’t hear the slam of the door behind him as he tears out of the house and into the cold air.
Something happened. The group was compromised. You were compromised.
And he’s not there.
He should’ve been there.
Joel doesn’t remember the sprint to the stables. Doesn’t remember shouting at Maria when she tried to stop him at the gate. Doesn’t remember half the ride out. All he knows is that his hands won’t stop shaking around the reins and the bile in his throat tastes like ash—a sick, gnawing pit growing in his gut.
When he finds the group what feels like hours later, just as the sun starts to rise behind the ridgeline—you’re nowhere to be found. His eyes scan the way everyone’s spread out, some with minor injuries and the others patching them up.
No sign of you.
Tommy plants himself in front of Joel just as he hauls himself off his horse. He doesn’t even feel the way his knees jolt as his feet hit the ground.
“Where the hell is she?” he rasps, voice so rough it sounds like it’s been dragged through gravel. “Where, Tommy?”
Tommy’s hands are out in front of him like Joel’s a wild animal about to snap. He’s got blood on his hands, but no signs of stab wounds or bullet holes anywhere on him. It’s not his blood. Joel’s stomach turns viciously at the sight, at the thought of whose it might be.
“She’s fine,” Tommy says, eyes wide and placating. “Took a hit, it grazed her side. She wouldn’t fuckin’ stay down.”
Joel knows he won’t feel any relief until he sees you, alive and breathing with his own eyes. “Where.”
Tommy steps aside just before Joel nearly shoves past him, nodding his head toward a rock outcrop a ways away from everyone else.
You’re sitting closest to the makeshift fire, Jesse crouched beside you to clean the gash along your side. You’re bundled in someone else’s coat, hair mussed and blood soaked through your undershirt and spattered across your cheeks.
Visibly shaken. Color drained. Bloody. Alive.
Joel’s throat locks up when your eyes meet his. You give him the smallest, tired smile—like you're trying to reassure him. That look. That stupid, brave little tilt of your mouth like everything's okay even when you're the one bleeding through Tommy's jacket.
It makes something in his chest crack wide open.
“Joel?”
He doesn’t speak.
Doesn’t know what to say.
Doesn’t trust himself for it to be anything good.
Joel takes three shaky steps towards you before his knees give out.
He drops hard into the snow. He doesn’t catch himself, doesn’t try. Just falls forward like a penitent man bowing at the altar of a God he doesn’t believe in. His breath comes in short, ragged bursts, eyes locked onto the red seeping through your shirt like it's the only color in the whole damn world.
There’s a beat where nobody moves. Jesse freezes, half-done wrapping gauze, and you’re just sitting there, wide-eyed and shaking like a leaf, lips parted like you’re trying to say something—but Joel’s already reaching for you.
He's on you in the next breath. Not rough, not like usual, not with that greedy, hungry touch he normally has after you come back from patrol. His hands are trembling when they find your face, tilting your chin up gently, his fingers brushing away wet blood and dirt.
Tommy glances away. Jesse too, both men busying themselves with helping the others. It feels too private, even out here in the open.
“Goddammit,” he chokes. “God—baby–”
His voice breaks on the last word. Breaks, something sharp and gutted and boyish, nothing like the hardened man who's grown to guard his emotions like they’re classified. Your hands hover uncertainty over his shoulders, the side of his face. You’re worried. He can see it plain as day, written in the wavering line of your mouth.
“Hey—hey, I’m okay,” you say, voice low and urgent. “I’m fine. Look at me, Joel, I’m fine. It just—it just grazed me, okay? I’m fine.”
You’re not fine.
You’re too pale. You’re stone-cold. Your blood is still tacky on your shirt, drying beneath his body's warmth.
Joel presses his forehead to yours and exhales like he’s been kept underwater, and you were the surface he’d been clawing to.
You whisper his name again, quieter this time, and he shushes you. “Don’t—don’t talk, just—let me—” His fingers press to the pulse point at your wrist like he still needs proof. “Let me feel you.”
You don’t say anything else.
You just hold him.
And Joel doesn’t cry. He can’t. Something won’t let him, but he stays there in the snow for a long time, holding you like a man who thought he’d never get the chance to again.
The ride back to Jackson is quiet.
You fell asleep half-way through, head lolling back against Joel’s shoulder as you both sat in the saddle, your body loose with exhaustion and the emergency pain meds Jesse had in his pack. Tommy rides ahead, checking the trail, but Joel barely looks up. He just holds the reins with one hand and holds you tighter with the other.
You’re taken to the infirmary the second everyone files through the gates. Joel sits by your bedside in stormy silence, hands curled into fists and resting on his knees, the only thing keeping him together.
You talk to the nurse on duty. You even joke with her, cracked voice and tired eyes like it’s all part of the routine. Like getting shot is just another part of the job. And Joel sits there while someone else wraps you in new bandages and checks your vitals.
It makes his blood boil.
All he can think about is the way your voice cut out on the radio. The way he didn’t know if you were dead or bleeding out in some field, alone. And now you’re laughing. Now you’re telling the nurse, “I’m fine really, just sore.” And it makes him want to tear the whole fucking clinic apart.
Joel doesn’t say a word until you're cleared to leave.
Not on the short walk back to your house. Not when you’re walking through the door, cleaned up. Patched. Your shirt’s gone, replaced by his coat and a thermal blanket around your shoulders.
Not when you nudge his arm gently like you’re testing the waters. Not when you say his name soft, like it might keep him calm before you’re heading towards the bedroom.
It doesn’t.
The moment the door shuts behind him, Joel erupts.
“You got a fuckin’ death wish?”
You freeze in your spot halfway across the room, turning to face him.
Joel doesn’t move. Just stands there, fists clenched at his sides. His voice is low, shaking with barely concealed rage. “You gonna tell me why you thought playin’ saviour was worth bleedin’ out in the snow?”
You don’t say anything for a few beats, eyebrows drawn together in a hard frown as you look at him. “What was I supposed to do, Joel? Jesse was pinned, Tommy would’ve taken the hit. I didn’t have a choice.”
“You always have a choice!” Joel grates, stepping towards you. “You could’ve picked you. You could’ve stayed the fuck down like Tommy told you to.”
“I was trying to keep your brother from getting shot in the head,” you snap, the tension finally striking a flint. “I made a judgment call.”
“You made a stupid call,” he spits, voice loud and blistering. “You don’t get to do that.”
“I didn’t have a choice,” you repeat, your body growing stiff and tense.
“You shoulda fuckin’ stayed down.” Joel growls. He doesn’t even look at you when he says it—just rips his flannel off, tosses it hard at the wall.
You don’t flinch. Don’t even look away from him as his shirt falls and crumples into a heap on the floor. “What?”
“You heard me,” he snaps, turning to look at you again. His eyes are dark, fiery. “Jesus, you—do you even fuckin’ think sometimes? You were hit. You knew you were hit, and you kept goin’. You didn’t stop, didn’t stay down like you were told.”
He steps closer, eyes boring into yours, face twisted with something too furious to be rational. “You fuckin’ chose to be a goddamn hero, huh? Run into gunfire like it ain’t a fuckin’ death sentence? That it?”
He can see the second your expression changes, your own anger rearing its ugly head now, bitter and hot. “Don’t do that. Don’t make this about me being reckless when you know I was just trying to keep people alive. I did what I had to do.”
“No!” he snaps, pointing a finger at you, furious and stricken all at once. “What you had to do was come home. That’s it. That’s all.”
You blink at him, breath caught in your throat.
Joel can’t stop, all the emotions he’s been dealt over the past three hours finally boiling over and spilling through his lips before he can think twice about what he’s saying.
“You could’ve died,” he growls, pacing now, hands dragging through his hair roughly like he’s trying to rip the anger out of himself. “Two fuckin’ inches to the left and that bullet would’ve torn straight through your gut. You think you’d’ve made it to town in time for that? Huh?”
“That’s not fair.”
“No,” he snarls, spinning on you, voice cracking. “It’s not fuckin’ fair. Nothin’ about this is. You go out there, and I sit at home waitin’ to see if today’s the day I lose you. That the last thing I heard is your voice cuttin’ out in the middle of a fuckin’ ambush. That’s what I got to live with now. That’s what I saw every time I closed my eyes on that ride back.”
You stand there, lost for words. “I didn’t mean for any of this to happen.”
“I know you didn’t,” Joel says, suddenly quieter, throat thick. He swallows hard, looking down, shaking his head like he’s trying to get a grip. “But I still almost lost you. And I don’t—fuck—I don’t know what the hell I’d do if that ever—”
His voice cuts off, ragged. Then he’s in front of you again, cupping your face with both hands. “You’re not allowed to do that to me again,” he whispers fiercely. “You’re not allowed to scare me like that.”
“Joel…” You lean into him, slow. Cautious.
Joel meets you halfway.
His mouth is on yours in a heartbeat—hot and bruising and pathetically desperate. His big hands frame your face, thumbs dragging down your cheekbones as he licks a wet stripe over the plush seam of your lips.
You gasp into his mouth when he pushes the blanket off your shoulders, when his palms skate down your sides to grip your hips hard. Not too rough, not yet, but he’s holding you because he needs you rooted. Anchored. Here.
Joel kisses you like he’s still furious at you, like he hates how much he needs you, like he’s punishing you for making him feel so afraid. It’s not soft, all teeth and tongue as he devours you, stealing the breath from your lungs.
When he pulls back, his mouth is wet with your spit, lips pink and swollen. “Need to taste you,” he mutters. “Need to feel you.”
Joel sinks to his knees before you can respond, breath huffing harshly against your stomach. His fingers tug your zipper down with frantic urgency, hooking his thumbs in your waistband to peel your pants down your legs in one swift motion.
There’s no teasing. No smugness. Just a heavy, sharp hunger carved into his face like stone as he pulls your panties to the side, exposing you to his greedy eyes. His hands slide under your thighs, lifting one over his shoulder as he brings his mouth to you like a man possessed.
The first drag of his tongue is slow. Reverent. Hot and wet as he parts the slick seam of your cunt with deliberate strokes that make your spine arch. He groans like your taste knocks the wind out of him, and then he latches on like he’s got a point to prove—to himself or you, he’s not sure. All he knows is that worshipping you is the only penance that could soothe the panic still clawing at his insides.
“Joel.” Your hands tangle in his hair, chin falling to your chest as you gaze down at him.
He sucks your clit into his mouth, tongue relentless, nose pressed deep against you. You whimper, twisting his hair in your grip, hips twitching—Joel doesn’t let you go anywhere. He’s got you trapped, your body pinned with his mouth buried between your thighs like he plans to die there.
It’s filthy, obscene—the way he devours you. Lips slick, beard growing damper with each swirl of his tongue, eyes half-lidded but still trained on your own.
Your eyes are glassy, pupils blown wide and black as spilled ink. There’s sweat beaded on your brow, lips parted and swollen as you let out small huffs of air.
Your thighs are trembling. You're soaked, arching against him, whimpering his name with tears welling in your eyes. And still—still—he won’t let up. He needs this. Needs to make you fall apart. Needs to prove to himself you’re alive by the way your body sings under his touch.
Joel can’t stop. Not until your thighs shake and you’re moaning that you’re gonna come, gonna come, Joel, please—
And you do. You fall apart on his tongue with a broken sob, legs clenching tight around his ears, hips grinding down into his mouth in weak twitches and shudders. He growls and holds you still, licking you through every last tremor until your body goes limp and threatens to sink to the floor.
Joel doesn’t let you fall—he lowers you down gently, like you’re made of spun glass, even as his hands skirt over the hem of your shirt. When he pulls it up, revealing the bandages wound tight around your side, he pauses. His gaze lingers on the wound. Jaw clenched. Something soft and wrecked flickers in his eyes.
Your hand comes up to cup the side of his face, your thumb running over the scar across his temple so gently it has his heart throbbing in his chest. “I’m okay,” you whisper. “Still here.”
Joel takes your wrist in his hand, lowering it down enough to press it hard over his heart. “You feel that?” he breaths. “That hasn’t stopped hammerin’ since I heard your voice cut out.”
You nod slowly. Your fingers curl into his shirt. “I’m sorry.”
Joel squeezes your wrist, turning his head to press a soft kiss to your forearm.
He climbs up over you, chest to chest—the jut of his cock where it tents the denim of his jeans grinds over the sensitive span of your cunt as he settles himself between your legs. He’s thick, heavy even through all the layers.
Joel’s free hand snakes down his body, making quick work of his belt. He rips his zipper down, freeing his cock from the confines of his soaked boxers and letting it slap up against his stomach.
You moan at the sight of it—hard, straining, the tip a dusty red and wet with pre-come. Your legs widen unconsciously, thighs twitching on either side of Joel’s hips.
Joel takes himself in his hand, fist tight over the base of his cock as he runs himself through your puffy cunt, slicking the skin of his cock with your wetness. “Gonna fuck you,” he breathes, lining himself up between your legs. “Gonna feel you around me, baby, need it so damn bad.”
Joel slides in with one long, smooth stroke, your slick making it easy, and the groan he lets out sounds like pain. Like relief. Like he might lose his mind from the heat of you. Your breath hitches at the stretch, head lolling back against the hardwood as your nails dig into his shoulders.
“Mine,” he grits through his teeth, forehead pressed to yours, his hips grinding deeper as you cling to him. “You’re mine, baby. Always—always mine.”
You nod, panting, eyes glassy. “All yours,” you whisper. “Only yours, Joel.”
And then he moves.
Hard.
Desperate.
Unrelenting.
He fucks you like you’re the only thing tethering him to earth, like if he stops, he’ll unravel entirely. One arm hooks under your knee, pushing you open, deeper than before. His hips slap against yours, raw and hopelessly, but it’s not about getting off.
It’s about feeling you.
Every squeeze, every tremble, every gasp that leaves your mouth when he hits that perfect spot.
Joel’s never felt like this before.
So angry.
So scared.
So in love.
He fucks you like he’s trying to imprint himself inside your body. His thrusts stitch you back to him, sealing you inside his chest so you can never leave. A mess of skin-on-skin and heat and slick as the two of you meet again and again and again.
“Could’ve lost you,” he growls against your throat. “Fuck, honey, I could’ve—Jesus—”
You wrap your arms around him. “You didn’t,” you whisper. “I’m here, Joel—I’m yours—”
He groans, hips stuttering, thrusts turning frantic. He can tell he’s close, that he’s been close since he sank to his knees in front of you.
“Say it again,” he pants, slamming into you with a low, wrecked noise. “Say you’re mine.”
“I’m yours,” you gasp. “Always yours—fuck, Joel—”
You wrap your arms tighter around him, pulling him closer. Your nails dig into his skin through the thin layer of his undershirt, legs locking around his waist to keep him pressed against you like you’re scared he’ll let go.
Joel doesn’t let go. He’d never let go. Not even when you moan his name like a prayer, not even when your nails rake down his back, not even when you gasp out a warning, your voice thin and needy. “Joel, I—gonna—”
“I know, baby. I got you.” His hand snakes down between you, finding your clit and rubbing quick circles over it, desperate to feel you come. “Wanna feel you. Need to—fuck—need to feel you, sweetheart. Please.”
You shatter in his arms with a broken sob, clenching hard around him as your body jerks, overwhelmed and too raw to hide it. Joel feels you pulse around his cock, the tight warmth of your cunt milking him.
It’s too much, and he’s coming with a groan that sounds like it’s been clawed from his chest. He buries himself to the hilt, hips jerking with every pulse, breath catching in your ear. “Fuck, fuck—” he pants, voice hoarse, “—love you, I love you, I thought I lost you, baby, I can’t…”
You’re both trembling when it ends.
Joel holds you there for a long time, forehead resting against yours, still buried deep inside you. He still won’t let you go. Not yet.
Eventually, when he’s calmed, he pulls back just enough to look at you.
You expect that same look from earlier—rage, fear, guilt—but it’s not there. Just love. Just deep, aching relief.
“I can’t lose you,” he says quietly. “I wouldn’t survive it.”
You reach up, trace the curve of his brow, the edge of his jaw. “You won’t have to,” you whisper.
Joel kisses you again. Softer this time. Sweeter. A delicate press of lips against lips. His fingers stroke your cheek, pulling back enough for his eyes to trace along your face. He follows the line of your brows, the shape of your nose, the soft curve of your lips.
He can’t feel anything other than love.
Gentle. Solid. Steady.
It’s only love.

never ending night
bruce wayne x femwife!reader

word count: 1.7k | divider by @saradika | requests are open!
CW: pregnancy, pure fluff NOTES: hello hi i’m ailís and i’ve been meaning to start a blog where i can post some one shots that i’ve been thinking of as a way to motivate myself to finally write down my ideas so this is it. i’ll be double posting my stuff on ao3 (which you can find in my bio) and will eventually make a masterlist as well as a navigation post with a list of fandoms/characters i write for. also, english isn’t my first language.
It was close to three in the morning when Bruce finally joined you in bed after a long night of patrolling and fighting bottom of the barrel criminals all night. He showered in the bathroom on the first floor of the manor to avoid making too much noise and waking you up, but when he finally walked in your shared bedroom, you were already awake, sitting up against the headboard.
“Darling, what are you doing still up?” Bruce asked you as he reached his side of the bed.
The room was dark par for the moonlight filtering through the gap between the curtains, meaning your husband had yet to notice the state you were in.
“Dick had a nightmare,” you answered, voice barely above a whisper due to how tired you were. “It took me two hours to get him to fall back asleep and when I finally came back here, this little one started kickboxing me and keeping me awake for another hour,” you continued rubbing your round belly in hopes of soothing your baby to finally catch some sleep.
“I’m sorry I wasn't here to help,” Bruce apologised, planting a kiss on your temple as he held you close to his body.
“It’s alright, Gotham needs you,” you dismissed, not at all angry.
“Still, you’re six months pregnant. You’re growing our child inside your body, you need all the rest you can get,” he softly argued. “I would've come home earlier but all the amateur criminals came out tonight.”
“Bruce, it’s fine,” you brought your hand up to his cheek and he leaned his head into your touch. “You’ve already been cutting your patrols shorter since we found out about the baby. As long as you keep coming back home to us, alive, then I’m not mad.”
Not knowing what to say – his gratefulness for having someone so accepting of his duty as Batman was almost overwhelming, even after all those years – Bruce kissed your palm while staring at you with the same look full of love that he has been sporting since the first time he met you six years ago.
“How’d I get so lucky to fall in love with the most understanding and selfless person I know?” He asked while grabbing your hand on his cheek, wrapping his fingers around yours and squeezing them gently.
“Now that’s a lie,” you rebutted, a loving smile on your lips, lowering your joined hands on the bed. “You’re more selfless than I am. You’re the most selfless man in the world.”
“Let’s not start this never ending argument again,” Bruce chuckled, now his turn to hold your face as he brought you in for a kiss.
You happily sighed against his lips, the feeling of home that overtook you every time you tasted them was a nice welcome in this interminable night. But the kiss was cut short as you felt your baby kick again and you let your head fall back as you groaned.
“She’s still kicking?” Bruce asked you, he couldn't see the movements under your skin due to the darkness of the room and your hand on your belly.
“We don't know it's a she,” you reminded him instead of answering. You had both decided to wait until the birth to know the gender.
“And I’m telling you, I know it's a girl,” your husband repeated for what could be the hundredth time.
You also secretly hoped it was a girl, but Dick really wanted a little brother. Bruce and you were still in the process of warming him up to the idea of a little sister and it was slowly starting to work.
“As long as she doesn't come in my room,” your eight year old son had said last week, with his arms crossed over his chest and a pout on his lips.
“I doubt she’ll be doing that for the first few years, chum,” Bruce reassured him, fighting off a slightly amused grin.
“And the baby will have its own room with its own toys,” you added.
“Will I still be able to play with the baby?” Dick asked after a moment, uncrossing his arms and a hopeful look filling up his blue eyes.
“Of course you will, bubs,” you said, your fingers threading through his black hair that fell over his forehead.
“But only with her toys at first, some of yours are not suited for a baby,” Bruce pointed out, ever the overprotective father.
Bruce had lowered himself down under the blanket so he could be laying head levelled with your belly, his hand now replacing yours over the bump.
“Hey trouble,” he whispered to your child and the baby kicked again, making him smile lovingly at the movement he felt under his hand. “You shouldn't be awake this late at night, you know.”
“You're one to talk,” you commented, tone almost reprimanding.
“She doesn't know that,” Bruce looked up at you as he defended himself before his gaze fell back on your belly. “Mommy is really tired,” he continued talking to your baby, his hand now rubbing soothingly over your round stomach, “and she needs her rest to do all the work so you can come out all healthy and beautiful. Well, you're definitely gonna be the most beautiful baby if you end up looking like your mother, but that's not the point.”
You smiled at the cheesy comment and your fingers found their place in Bruce’s hair, brushing through it and nails occasionally scratching his scalp.
“Your brother Dick can't wait for you to come around,” he carried on. “Said he will teach you all sorts of acrobatic tricks once you know how to walk. And he asked Alfred if he could help paint the nursery when we finally decide on a colour.”
“And I keep telling you we should do soft green,” you argued.
“I’m not changing my mind from primrose pink,” he told you with a sly grin.
“The room won’t be pink, even if it’s a girl. And that’s final,” you firmly said. Your husband will not be winning this one argument, no sir.
Bruce sighed, rolling his eyes before focusing back on your belly. “I hope you’re not as stubborn as your mother,” he whispered to the baby, as if he was having a private conversation with them and that you weren’t there. “Don’t get me wrong, it’s one of the many reasons why I fell in love with her, but I won’t be able to say no to you even when I have to, so it would save me a lot of reprimanding from Mommy if you’re not as tenacious as her.”
You smiled to yourself as you continued listening to your husband talk to your unborn child as you threaded your fingers through his hair, enjoying the softness it had after a shower. Bruce usually gelled his hair to appear more professional when he was working in the day, and then it would get all mixed up with his sweat under his cowl when he was working as Batman. When he would come back to you after the day was over, you would refuse to touch his hair until he had showered, the texture of the gel and sweat too gross on your fingers for you to ignore.
As Bruce continued talking to your baby, his voice started lulling the two of you to sleep. The baby hadn’t kicked in over almost ten minutes now, and the peace you had waited for so long to arrive made you aware of how heavy your eyelids were. You slowly lowered yourself down the bed, getting in a comfortable position with Bruce’s help where you could finally lay your head on your pillow and it didn’t take long for sleep to catch up on you.
At the sound of your soft, barely audible snores, Bruce turned his head away from your bump to find you asleep with your free hand raised next to your head on your pillow, the other one still tangled in his hair.
He planted a soft kiss on the exposed skin of your belly, eyes closed as he took a moment to absorb the fact that a baby that was half you and half him would be joining your world in a little more than three months. Bruce wasn't known to cry, the only time you ever saw him cry was as you walked down the aisle at your wedding, but tonight, a lonesome tear rolled down his cheek and fell on your stomach, where your child was growing, because Bruce never believed he would ever get to experience again the amount of love he hadn't felt since he was eight years old.
As he observed you, sleeping soundly with his child coming to life inside you, after you comforted Dick back to sleep, Bruce, for a moment, felt overwhelmed by all the love in his life. When he became Batman, he crossed out the idea of ever having a family (other than Alfred), of settling down with someone he loved and who loved him back.
But somehow, the universe put you on his path, as a miracle or a guardian angel or simply as an anchor to life outside of Batman, he didn't know. You walked into his home, into his life, to remind him that he, Bruce Wayne, was also deserving of love, of family, of happiness. Then Dick came along, rather unexpectedly but still no less welcomed, and Bruce started entertaining the idea of having children with you. He definitely wasn't opposed to it, but it wasn't something he wanted to jump right into, especially with Dick having just entered your lives. You were both young, he in his early thirties and you in your late twenties, you could allow yourselves a couple of years just the three of you (four with Alfred) before expanding the family.
So it was rather shocking when two months after you and Bruce had officially adopted Dick that you found out you were pregnant. It both took you by surprise but after talking through it together, you couldn't be happier. And the two of you haven't stopped being happy about this new little addition ever since.
Bruce rose up from his position next to your belly, your limp hand fell from his head as he did so, and he laid on the bed next to you. He delicately kissed your forehead, then your nose before falling back on his pillow and whispered “I love you” as he curled around your body, his hand resting on your belly as he fell asleep.

White Horse - Chapter 22: June 2024 - Part 3
Pairing: Max Verstappen x Isabelle Leclerc (Original Character)
Summary:
Max Verstappen is a World Champion. Isabelle Leclerc is invisible.
She watched her family give up everything for Charles’ career—Arthur’s karting, their father’s savings, even her childhood horse. She understood. She never asked for more.
But Max does. He notices the things no one else does, listens when no one else will, and puts her first in ways she never imagined. With him, she isn’t an afterthought—she’s a choice. And for the first time, she realizes she doesn’t have to be invisible.
Warnings and Notes:
we have now moved on from Charles bashing to bashing his whole family, Discussions of toxic past relationships, talk about loosing a childhood pet, toxic families, mention of the loss of a parent. Apparently I am once again messing up my chapter numbering on Tumblr. 21 is correct according to AO3 and Wattpad though. No, you didn't miss anything, I promise.
As always big thanks to @llirawolf , who listens to me ramble

Text Messages: Gianpiero Lambiase & Max Verstappen
GP: Heard about the post-race press. Are you and Belle okay?
Max: I’m fine. Belle’s shaken. Tired. But she’s okay. (ish.)
GP: “Okay-ish” isn’t exactly reassuring, mate.
Max: She’s stronger than she thinks. But it hit her hard. Even after everything… she still hoped they’d see her.
GP: That’s the cruel part. Hope.
Max: Yeah.
GP: Is she at home? You with her?
Max: I am.
Max: Doesn’t feel like enough.
GP: It’s enough. You’re there. You see her. That’s already more than most have ever done.
Max: She deserves better than this.
GP: She’s got it now. She’s got you.
GP: (and the cats.)
Max: True. Jimmy thinks he’s her bodyguard.
GP: Smart cat.
GP: Tell her we’re all thinking about her, yeah?
Max: I will. Thanks, GP. For checking in.
GP: Always. She’s part of the team now. Whether she likes it or not.

The breakfast table was too quiet.
A spread of croissants, jam, fresh fruit, and espresso cups sat untouched in the center of the table—untouched because no one could eat. Lorenzo’s revelation from the day before hung in the air like a thundercloud.
Isabelle had quit her job.
Months ago.
Without telling a single one of them.
Charles still hadn’t wrapped his head around it. Isabelle had always loved her work. She breathed design. She stayed up late sketching, doodling floor plans on napkins, whispering ideas into voice memos when she thought no one was listening.
And then one day… she just walked away from it. From them.
Arthur sat with his head in his hands, looking half-murdered by guilt. Pascale was pale and tight-lipped, stirring her tea without drinking it.
“I don’t understand,” Pascale whispered. “How could she just… leave her job? She worked so hard for it.”
“She didn’t just leave,” Lorenzo said, pacing. “She ghosted the entire office. Packed her things in one night. Sent a polite goodbye email. Nothing else.”
“And no one noticed?” Arthur asked, stunned.
“No one bothered to notice,” Charles muttered.
Pascale looked toward Alexandra. “Did you know anything?”
Alexandra hesitated, then straightened a little. “She’s safe.”
That got everyone’s attention.
Charles’s head snapped toward her. “What?”
“I texted Emilie,” Alexandra said, calm but firm. “Isabelle’s best friend. She replied this morning. Said Isabelle is okay.”
A collective breath was held—and slowly released.
“Why didn’t you say that sooner?” Pascale asked, eyes wide.
“Because you were all too busy spiraling,” Alexandra said. “And because Emilie was clear: Isabelle doesn’t want to talk to any of you right now.”
Charles swallowed hard.
“She’s mad,” he said. “Of course she’s mad.”
“She’s not mad,” Alexandra said. “She’s hurt. She’s done. There’s a difference.”
Lorenzo closed his eyes. Arthur muttered something under his breath.
Then Alexandra added, almost absently, “She’s not alone. Emilie said her boyfriend likes taking care of her.”
A beat of stunned silence.
“Oh my god,” Arthur muttered. “She has a sugar daddy.”
Charlotte choked on her orange juice.
Pascale actually dropped her spoon.
“Arthur!” Alexandra hissed, scandalized.
Arthur looked wildly between them. “Think about it! Moved out. Quit her job. No one knows where she is. Isabelle’s always been quiet, not mysterious. What if she—”
“No. No,” Charles said quickly, shaking his head like that would erase the words from the room. “She wouldn’t. Isabelle is not like that.”
“People change when they feel abandoned,” Arthur muttered, clearly spiraling now. “This is how Netflix documentaries start.”
“I will kill whoever that man is,” Charles muttered, eyes narrowing like he was already imagining chasing someone through the Monaco harbor with a champagne bottle.
“I’m just saying,” Arthur hissed, “stranger things have happened! And let’s not pretend we’re not a family of unresolved emotional issues. We all have daddy issues!”
A beat of stunned silence.
Then Pascale, horror dawning on her face, said, “Excuse me?!”
Arthur looked up, mid-sip of juice. “What?”
Pascale blinked, stunned. “Since when?!”
Arthur just stared at her. “I mean, come on. Dad died when we were kids, Charles is out here trying to win his approval from the afterlife, I started karting again like I have something to prove, and Isabelle— Isabelle moved in with a mysterious man and quit her job because he "likes taking care of her!"
“Oh my God,” Pascale said faintly, sinking into her chair.
“Okay, this is going off the rails,” Alexandra groaned.
Lorenzo pinched the bridge of his nose. “Arthur, this is not about your unresolved need for paternal validation.”
Arthur shrugged helplessly. “I was just trying to explain that maybe Isabelle was looking for emotional stability and someone gave it to her. And maybe he also had a good skincare routine and a yacht. I don’t know.”
“She moved in with her boyfriend,” Lorenzo said sharply. “Not a sugar daddy. Her boyfriend. That’s what her old neighbor said. She left the firm. Left her apartment. But she didn’t run away. She just stopped waiting to be seen.”
Arthur groaned, slumping in his seat. “We didn’t even know she had a boyfriend.”
“Because she didn’t tell us,” Charles said bitterly. “Because she stopped expecting us to care.”
“Or because she knew you were going to freak out.” Charlotte murmured.
Charles raised an eyebrow. “What does that mean?”
Charlotte looked up, startled. “What?”
“You said that like you know something.”
Charlotte hesitated. “I don’t know anything.”
“Charlotte,” Lorenzo warned.
She shifted. “It’s just—she’s always been around racing. She used to hang around the paddock all the time. If she was seeing someone, I wouldn’t be shocked if it was someone from the grid.”
Silence.
Then Arthur: “Wait. You’re saying she could be dating someone we know?”
Charlotte winced. “I said maybe. Don’t start spiraling.”
“I’M ALREADY SPIRALING,” Charles announced.
Alexandra sighed, sipping her coffee. “And now we’ve entered the panic phase.”
Arthur leaned back, muttering, “If it’s Fernando I swear to God—”
Pascale clapped her hands together. “Enough.”
But Charles barely heard her.
Because if Belle was dating someone from the paddock…
Then there were nineteen men it could be, currently on the grid.
And not one of them had said a word.

Group Chat: GRID 2024

Charles: SOMEONE TELL ME
Who is dating my sister??
Charles: IS IT FERNANDO?? Are you her sugar daddy?? Just tell me. I need answers.
Fernando: Pardon?
Lewis: Oh we’re doing this.
George: Charles, breathe.
Oscar: You’re spiraling. Please stop.
Pierre: Wait WHAT??
Yuki: I feel like I’ve walked into the last five minutes of a telenovela
Fernando: Charles. I’m flattered. But no.
Charles: OK FINE. MAX. Charles: IS SHE DATING JOS?!
Logan: …bro
George: I need to leave this chat forever
Lando: oh my god
Max: What. Did. You. Just. Say.
Charles: I don’t know, okay?? Everyone’s being weird. She’s gone, she moved, she quit her job, no one’s telling me anything and YOU’RE ALL BEING WEIRD.
Max: Don’t you ever say something like that again.
Max: Not as a joke. Not out of panic. Not ever.
Max: Belle is your sister, Charles. She deserved your attention, your support, your respect—and she didn’t get any of it. Max: And now you want to cover up your guilt by making a disgusting joke like that?
George: Whoa.
Charles: It’s not a joke! She smiled at him during Monaco!
Max: You forgot her birthday. You forgot her entire life outside of your world. And now you’re so desperate to catch up you’re throwing shit against the wall like it doesn’t have consequences?
Oscar: He’s right. That was low, man.
Lando: Way out of line.
Max: You’re panicking and flinging names around like this is a soap opera, and you’re forgetting that this isn’t about you.
Carlos: He’s right.
Max: Belle isn’t your property. She doesn’t owe you updates of her life. And the fact that your first instinct is to accuse my father of something that insane? That tells me everything I need to know about where your priorities are.
Max: You’re not trying to protect her. You’re trying to control the fallout of your own guilt.
Alex: Oof.
Oscar: He’s not wrong.
Lando: I mean, he’s definitely not wrong.
Daniel: That was… surgical.
Max: You forgot her birthday. You didn’t realise she moved or that she quit her job. And now that it’s all blowing up in your face, you’re treating your sister like a scandal to manage instead of a woman who deserves better than you’ve given her for years.
Charles: Max…
Max Verstappen: Don’t. You had every chance to show up. And you didn’t.
Oscar: …Well. That was the cleanest emotional takedown I’ve ever witnessed.
Pierre: I’m afraid to even type right now.
Alex: Respectfully, that needed to be said.
Lewis: Sometimes silence is the most respectful response. And sometimes it’s watching Max drop a nuke and sipping your tea.
Charles: … I’m sorry.
Max: Don’t say sorry to me. Say it to her.
Daniel: And maybe do it without accusing her of having a sugar daddy next time.
Fernando: Sincerely never thought I’d be defending Jos Verstappen’s honor in a group chat. And yet. Here we are.
Pierre: Did we all just witness character development in real time?
Oscar: No, we witnessed Max finally snap.
Carlos: Honestly? Fair.
Max: Now if you’ll excuse me, my wife wants to go see her horse.

Group Chat: HELP ME
(Members: Daniel Ricciardo, Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Lewis Hamilton, Carlos Sainz Jr., George Russell, Alex Albon, Nico Hulkenberg, Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel, Mark Webber, David Coulthard, Sergio Pérez, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Räikkönen, Zhou Guanyu, Logan Sergeant, Esteban Ocon, Lance Stroll and Valtteri Bottas)
Oscar: (sends screenshots) Are we gonna talk about that??
Lando: I don’t think I’ll ever emotionally recover.
George: That wasn’t an argument. That was Max opening a precision-cut emotional autopsy on Charles.
Daniel: Surgical strike. Zero survivors.
Carlos: I think I stopped breathing somewhere between “not your property” and “scandal to manage.”
Alex: And he still managed to slip in “my wife” at the end like it was casual.
Lewis: Subtle as a sledgehammer. Iconic.
Sebastian: Imagine standing that close to the truth and just completely going off the deep end. JOS VERSTAPPEN?!?!
David: Charles is lucky we’re not recording this for Drive to Survive. This would be season finale material.
Fernando: Still recovering from the fact that I had to defend Jos Verstappen’s honor today. Truly humbling times.
Mark: Also Max casually confirming "wife" like we didn’t hear that bomb drop.
Lando: The whole chat: staring at “my wife” like: [INSERT SHOCKED PIKACHU MEME]
Logan: Also Max: anyway gtg horseback riding with Belle bye
George: Meanwhile we’re left here emotionally blinking like stunned goldfish.
Zhou: Respectfully? That was the hottest thing I’ve ever seen in a group chat.
Logan: He read Charles’ whole life like it was a menu.
Esteban: No crumbs left. Truly an artist.
Lewis: I hope Belle gives Max a damn medal.
Carlos: It’s what he deserves.
Lando Norris: At this point Max could straight up declare war on Monaco and all of us would follow him.
Nico H.: Only if Belle asks nicely though.
Fernando: Honestly, after that? She deserves her own Grand Prix.
Sebastian: Belle Verstappen GP. Street circuit. Emotional trauma bonus points.
David: Winner gets emotional literacy and a free hug.
Lando: Charles gets last place. Obv.
Oscar: Someone check on Charles, though. Like... at a distance. With caution.
George: Give him a juice box and a reflective corner.
Lewis: He needs to sit with this one. You’re up, Seb.
Sebastian: I hate you.
Carlos: And next time? Maybe start by actually listening to Belle. and not accuse her of having a sugar daddy.
Oscar: Can we also talk about how Charles accused Fernando of being Belle’s sugar daddy?!?
Lando: No because I actually SCREAMED when I read it Out loud. In a public place.
George: Charles really said “if the unhinged shoe fits…”
Lewis: Fernando being asked if he’s the sugar daddy of a 25-year-old woman live in a chat is peak 2024.
Daniel: The best part is Fernando didn’t even deny it immediately. He said “pardon” like a man trying to calculate if this was a compliment or an insult.
Fernando: I was genuinely weighing my options.
Logan: He 100% thought about it for a second Did the math in his head Age difference analysis
Carlos: He pulled out a mental calculator before answering.
Alex: Plot twist: he was flattered.
Fernando: I am flattered.
Logan: ARE YOU NOT TOO OLD FOR THIS SIR
Fernando: Age is just a number. Experience is a blessing.
David: Shut up you're scaring the children
Daniel: I'm crying. This man is two bad decisions away from opening a luxury wine bar in Marbella.
Zhou: Would 100% attend Fernando’s shady rich sugar daddy wine parties tbh.
George: You know somewhere there's an alternate universe where Fernando is soft-launching Belle on Instagram with a blurry wine glass and a cryptic caption.
Sebastian: Don’t manifest that energy.
Lewis: The timeline barely survived Charles forgetting her birthday We are NOT surviving "Fernando Alonso soft launches Belle Verstappen."
Oscar: Good morning to everyone except Charles for inventing this nightmare.
Carlos: He should be banned from texting before noon.
Daniel: Imagine Belle reading that conversation The secondhand embarrassment would kill her instantly
Lando: Max would bury Charles under the Red Bull Energy Station if Belle found out
Fernando: That’s why I stayed calm. For everyone’s safety.
David: You’re a better man than I am.
George: Let’s be honest Max’s entire speech wasn’t just a takedown It was a warning.
Lewis: And Charles still doesn’t realize how close he was to emotional decapitation.
Daniel: Fernando being accidentally involved will forever be my Roman Empire
Lando: Same. Sugar Daddy Alonso 2024 Never Forget.
Kimi: I don’t care.
Fernando: Good. One sane man among us.
Mark: Honestly Kimi deserves a medal for surviving this chat with brain cells intact.
Lando: Meanwhile I’m Googling “how to recover from emotional whiplash" and "can you sue your friend for public embarrassment.”
Oscar: Suing Charles for pain and suffering. Class action.
Lewis: Count me in.
Daniel: Put me down for emotional damages and lost productivity.
Carlos: And mental anguish from hearing "Jos" and "sugar daddy" in the same sentence.
George Russell: I’m still trying to bleach my brain from that.
Sebastian Vettel: The worst part is… We know it’s only going to get worse.
Valtteri: Spain is going to be the emotional equivalent of a demolition derby and I'm here for it…
Oscar: Prayers up for Charles. He’s about to get hit with the reality sledgehammer.

The air smelled like sun-warmed hay and old wood and something softer — something Max couldn’t name but recognized instantly as peace.
The stables weren’t far from the city — a quiet, tucked-away stretch of land up in the hills — but it might as well have been another world compared to the chaos vibrating through the paddock, the media, the group chats.
Belle was already a few steps ahead of him, moving with easy, instinctive confidence down the center aisle. Her hair was pulled back in a loose braid, and she wore one of his oversized hoodies over her jeans, the sleeves pushed up to her elbows. Even in battered sneakers, even in dusty sunlight, she looked luminous.
This, Max thought, is who she really is.
Not the invisible sister standing silently in the Ferrari garage.
Not the afterthought.
Not the forgotten one.
Here, among the horses and the golden dust motes, Belle was someone else entirely. Someone free.
He watched as she reached Fleur’s stall — the mare with the soft eyes and white coat — and the change in her was immediate. Belle’s whole body softened. Her voice dropped into something low and sweet, barely a whisper, as she murmured to the horse in French, offering a gentle hand.
Fleur pressed her nose into Belle’s palm like she had been waiting for her all day.
Max stayed back, leaning against a beam, just… watching.
Belle ran her fingers through the mare’s mane, smiling quietly when Fleur nosed into her ribs for a treat. She laughed, soft and breathless, pulling a carrot from her pocket like she’d always known it would be needed.
Max felt something hot coil under his ribs.
Not anger. Not yet.
Something heavier.
Because standing there, watching her, Max didn’t understand — and probably never would — how the people who were supposed to love her first and fiercest could have ever made her feel like this side of her wasn’t worth seeing.
How did you miss this?
How did you miss her?
How could you look at Belle — at her patience, her stubbornness, her gentleness — and think she was someone it was okay to forget?
Max didn't know how Charles or Pascale or Arthur or even Lorenzo could live with themselves.
She had been right there, waving from the garage, smiling through being overlooked, standing quietly beside them her whole life — and they’d blinked, and she was gone.
He didn’t know if they'd ever get her back, not in the way they thought they were entitled to.
And maybe they didn’t deserve to.
Max shoved his hands into his pockets, feeling the steady beat of his own pulse against his knuckles. He wasn’t angry on his own behalf — he was angry for her. For every memory she had where she learned she needed to be small to survive. For every year she thought invisibility was safer than asking for more.
But here — here, she didn’t shrink herself.
Here, she was all soft light and warm hands and quiet magic.
He watched as Belle rested her forehead against Fleur’s, closing her eyes. Whispering something Max couldn’t hear.
He didn’t move.
He would wait forever if it meant she never had to be small again.
When she finally turned toward him, cheeks flushed, hair tangled in the breeze, Max just smiled — slow and sure — and opened his arms without a word.
Belle crossed the space between them like it was the most natural thing in the world.
And when she folded herself against his chest, Max pressed his mouth to the top of her head and thought, fiercely, I will never let you feel invisible again.
Not here. Not with him.
Never.

Belle sat curled into the armchair, hands knotted in the hem of her sweater. Her phone buzzed on the low table beside her — again — and she flinched without meaning to.
She didn’t pick it up. She hadn’t read any of them. Not a single message.
Across from her, Simone sat, notebook closed, pen resting untouched on the armrest. She didn’t need notes yet. She was just watching — waiting for Belle to breathe first.
"You don’t have to," Simone said finally, nodding toward the phone. "We can leave it buzzing all session if you want. This is your hour."
Belle looked down at her hands.
"I don’t know what they want," she said, voice thin. "I don’t know if I want to know."
"That's a choice," Simone said simply. "It’s your choice."
Belle twisted the hem tighter. "They keep calling. Texting. DMing. It’s like... once Charles realized, they all remembered I exist."
"That realization isn’t yours to carry," Simone said. "You didn’t make yourself invisible. They chose not to see you."
“You haven’t answered,” Simone asked, her voice even…non-judgemental.
Belle shook her head, pressing the rim of the mug tighter against her palms.
“I don’t know if I want to,” Belle whispered.
Simone leaned forward slightly. “You’re allowed to make that choice, Belle. Access to your life — your heart — isn’t something anyone is automatically entitled to. Not even family.”
Belle blinked hard.
“It feels… wrong,” she admitted. “Like I’m being cruel. But also like… maybe it’s finally protecting myself.”
Simone nodded. “Both can be true.”
They sat with that for a moment, letting the air between them settle.
"I feel like if I open one message, I’ll lose the ground I gained," she whispered. "Like they'll pull me back in before I even realize it."
Simone nodded slowly. "That fear is real. It’s valid. But remember — reading a message doesn’t obligate you to answer. They don’t get to set the terms anymore. You do."
Belle sat with that for a long moment, staring at the phone like it was a bomb she didn't know how to disarm.
"You can read what they have to say," Simone continued gently, "and then decide how much access you want to give them. How much of yourself you want to offer back. Or none at all. But the decision has to come from a place of power — not guilt."
Belle swallowed hard, something inside her cracking open.
"I don’t want to live my life shrinking," she said, so quietly it barely made it into the room.
"You don’t have to," Simone said simply. "You’re allowed to grow bigger than the spaces they built for you."
Belle wiped under her eyes, feeling the tears spill anyway.
"I’m pregnant," she said, almost impulsively, almost defensively — like the words had been trying to claw their way out of her for days.
Simone didn’t react, didn’t widen her eyes or gasp or rush forward.
She just smiled, slow and warm.
"Congratulations," Simone said.
Belle let out a shaky laugh, covering her face for a moment.
"I haven’t told most people yet," she admitted. "It’s... still just mine and Max’s, mostly. But I—"
She broke off, chest tight.
"I don’t want my baby to feel the way I felt," Belle whispered. "Invisible. Like they have to earn love. Like being quiet or not causing trouble makes them easier to keep around."
Simone nodded slowly. "You don’t want them to feel like they have to disappear to be safe."
Belle’s throat closed. That was it. That was everything.
"I want them to know," Belle said, tears slipping freely now. "Every second. That they matter. That they are wanted."
"You can give them that," Simone said gently. "Because you know what it feels like to need it."
Belle hugged her knees tighter to her chest, breathing in slow, ragged pulls.
"I don't know if I can be enough," she whispered.
"You already are," Simone said simply. "You're enough because you see them. The way you should have been seen."
Belle wiped her face roughly with her sleeve, heart pounding painfully against her ribs.
Simone leaned in just a little, voice steady.
"You get to break the cycle," she said. "Not by being perfect. Not by fixing everything. But by loving without conditions."
Belle stared down at her belly, still barely showing under the oversized sweater. A secret, soft and growing.
Not alone anymore.
Not invisible.
Not shrinking to fit someone else's version of worth.
She exhaled shakily.
"I think," Belle said slowly, "I’ll read the messages. Because it’s my choice now."
Simone smiled. "Exactly."
Belle sat back in the chair, letting the silence settle.
For the first time in a long time, it didn’t feel heavy.
It felt like freedom.
***
The cats were asleep — a warm, purring pile on the foot of the bed — and the only sound in the room was the hum of the city beyond the windows and the soft rustle of Max shifting beside her.
Belle sat curled up in the corner of the bed, Max’s hoodie swallowing her whole, the phone clutched in both hands.
She hadn’t wanted to look. Not at the missed calls. Not at the voicemails. Not at the dozens of unread messages blinking like warning lights across every app she had.
But now… Now she read them.
One by one.
Apologies. Explanations. Pleading.
Arthur. Lorenzo. Charles.
And Maman. Always Maman.
Maman:Ma chérie… I didn’t realise. I thought I messaged you, but I sent it to Charles by mistake. That’s not an excuse. You deserved more. Always. Please let me come see you. I miss you.
Belle stared at the words, blinking back the slow, stunned weight building behind her eyes.
Because if her mother had texted Charles that morning — if she had thought about Belle enough to even try — then Charles would have known.
He would have remembered.
There wouldn’t have been blank stares in the Ferrari garage.
There wouldn’t have been celebrations swirling around her while she stood still, invisible.
There would have been a smile.
A hug.
A word.
Anything.
But there hadn’t been.
Because her mother hadn’t texted.
Not her.
And not Charles.
She hadn’t thought about her at all.
Belle felt the first tear slip free before she could stop it. Then another. And another.
Her hands shook as she lowered the phone to her lap.
She pressed her knuckles against her mouth, willing herself to breathe, to hold it together — but the ache was too deep. Too old. It cracked open the quiet places she thought she had stitched shut months ago.
The mattress dipped beside her, and Max’s arms were around her before she could say a word.
No questions. No demands. Just solid, unwavering Max, pulling her into his chest, pressing his chin to the crown of her head, wrapping her up like he could protect her from everything the world had failed to.
Belle buried her face in his hoodie and cried — deep, broken, shuddering sobs that shook her ribs and soaked the cotton between them.
Max held her through all of it. Rocked her gently like she was something precious. Whispered soft, fierce things into her hair — I’ve got you. I’m not going anywhere. I love you.
When the tears finally slowed — when Belle could breathe without gasping — she shifted just enough to look up at him.
“She lied to me,” Belle whispered, voice barely above a breath.
Max tensed, not pulling away, but going still — like a storm gathering quietly over open water.
Belle twisted the fabric of his hoodie between her fingers, needing something to hold onto. “My mother. In her messages. She said… she said she thought she had texted me on my birthday. That she checked and realized she sent it to Charles instead.”
Max didn’t say anything.
Not yet.
He just waited.
“But if she had really texted Charles,” Belle said, blinking hard, “then he would have remembered. Wouldn’t he?”
Max’s jaw tightened against her forehead.
“He would have realized when he saw me. He would have known it was my day.”
Belle swallowed thickly. “He would have said something. Anything.”
She felt Max’s hand, slow and careful, run up her spine — like he was grounding himself as much as her.
“They didn’t forget by accident, Max,” she whispered, the crack in her voice slicing the room in half. “They just… didn’t think about me at all. And now she’s lying to make herself feel better. Or maybe to make me not be angry anymore.”
There was a long, vibrating pause.
When Max finally spoke, his voice was low. Dangerous.
“She lied to you." Not angry for himself. Angry for her.
“She lied to your face to protect her own feelings,” he said, tightening his grip around her protectively. “And she didn’t even think about what it would do to you.”
Belle didn’t trust herself to speak.
“She didn’t check,” Max said, every word precise and sharp. “She didn’t text you. She forgot you. And now she wants you to comfort her guilt so she doesn’t have to sit with the truth.”
Belle closed her eyes, tucking herself deeper into his chest.
Max’s voice dropped even lower. Colder. Deadlier.
“They don’t deserve to be the ones to tell you how much you matter, Belle,” he said. “Not when they couldn’t even see you standing right in front of them.”
Belle felt herself break apart a little more — not because of the anger in his voice, but because of the fierce, unyielding love underneath it.
Max pulled back just enough to tip her chin up, forcing her to meet his eyes.
“They can lie to themselves all they want,” he said, voice rough. “But you’re not invisible anymore. You never were. You are the most extraordinary thing I’ve ever seen.”
Belle tried to smile but it broke halfway through, another tear slipping free.
Max kissed her — not rushed, not desperate — but slow and sure and reverent.
“I see you,” he murmured against her mouth. “I will always see you.”
Belle clutched his hoodie tighter, feeling the words stitch into the broken places inside her chest.
And when she whispered, “Thank you,” it was the kind of thank you that carried a lifetime of hope she hadn’t known how to say before now.
Max brushed her forehead with his lips, arms still wrapped firmly around her.
***
The apartment was dark except for the soft glow of the city outside the windows, and the faint golden light spilling from the kitchen where Max was making tea.
The cats were already asleep, draped dramatically across the couch like tiny emperors, and Belle sat curled up at the dining table, phone in hand.
Her thumb hovered over the Instagram app for a long time.
She hadn’t posted anything in weeks. Maybe longer. Not since before everything cracked open — before her birthday…
It felt strange, almost dangerous, to think about letting the world see even a piece of her life again. To stop living like she needed to apologize for taking up space.
But she was tired.
She was tired of pretending her life was something to be ashamed of.
She was tired of being invisible.
Of hiding her joy like it was a crime.
She tapped into her camera roll.
The photo was simple. Max had taken it — taken earlier that afternoon, in the warm haze of the stables. Fleur was grazing and Belle’s arm was tucked around her neck, leaning against the warm white fur.
It wasn’t a professional shot.
It wasn’t curated.
It was real.
And for once, Belle didn’t care about anything else.
She clicked ‘post’ before she could talk herself out of it.
Caption:Some things were always meant to find their way back to you.
She stared at it for a moment, heart hammering — not with fear, but with something quieter. Something steadier.
Not everyone would understand.
Most wouldn’t even know what it meant.
But the people who mattered — the ones who knew her, who loved her — they would understand exactly what she was saying.
Max’s voice floated from the kitchen, casual and warm. “You want mint or chamomile?”
Belle smiled softly to herself.
“Mint,” she called back, slipping her phone onto the table, feeling lighter than she had in months.
No more hiding.
No more shrinking.
Her life was hers now.
And she was finally — finally — ready to live it.

The tea had just finished steeping when Max’s phone buzzed once. Then again. And again.
He frowned, setting down the mugs. It wasn’t like his phone to light up at midnight unless something dramatic had happened — and judging by the flood of notifications, the world had just decided to catch fire.
But when he flipped it over, his chest tightened in a very different way.
It wasn’t chaos. It wasn’t panic.
It was Belle.
Her name. Her Instagram. A new post.
Max opened it instantly, barely breathing.
The photo was simple, quiet — Fleur leaning into Belle’s hand, golden light painting everything soft around them.
But it wasn’t the picture that hit him hardest.
It was the caption.
some things are always meant to come back to you.
Max stared at the screen, heart thudding slow and heavy in his chest.
It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t flashy. It wasn’t a declaration.
It was a quiet, stubborn reclaiming of everything Belle had once been taught to hide — her dreams, her peace, her self.
And she hadn’t asked permission.
She hadn't needed anyone’s blessing.
She had simply... posted it.
Without apology.
Without explanation.
Max set the phone down, grabbed both mugs carefully, and crossed the living room to where Belle sat curled up at the table, her knees tucked under her, the soft edges of exhaustion lingering around her eyes.
She looked up when she heard him, tentative, like part of her was still braced for criticism she didn’t deserve.
Max didn’t say a word.
He placed the tea down. Then he crouched in front of her, sliding his hands over her knees, resting his forehead gently against hers.
No words. Just this.
Just I'm proud of you.
Belle let out a soft, shaky breath, her hand sliding into his hair, holding onto him like he was the only thing keeping her tethered — because sometimes, he was.
“You saw it?” she whispered.
Max smiled against her skin.
“I saw everything,” he murmured. “And I see you, liefde. Always.”
Belle’s breath hitched.
She closed her eyes and let herself believe it — let herself soak in the truth of it without second-guessing.
She wasn’t invisible here.
She was home.
And Max — Max was exactly where he had always promised he would be:
Right here. Always. With her.

Leclerc Family Group Chat
(Members: Arthur, Isabelle, Charles, Lorenzo and Pascale)
Arthur: Shared Isabelle’s Instagram post
Arthur: …So. Uh.
Arthur: When were you guys planning on telling me that Isabelle suddenly has a HORSE?
Charles: SHE HAS A WHAT.
Lorenzo: Excuse me??
Arthur: A horse, Lorenzo. A living, breathing, four-legged animal. You know. Like the one that was sold when she was a teenager.
Charles: No. No way. That’s not possible.
Arthur: Look at the photo. LOOK AT IT.
Charles: It looks exactly like Blanche.
Lorenzo: That’s not possible.
Arthur: AND YET.
Lorenzo: Okay. Okay. Let’s just—think about this logically.
Arthur: Sure. Logically. Isabelle now has a horse that looks IDENTICAL to the one that was sold to pay for Charles' karting?!?!
Arthur: LOGICALLY, how does that make any sense?!
Charles: Who gave her a horse?
Arthur: WHO KNEW SHE STILL WANTED ONE???
Lorenzo: …Clearly, not us.
Pascale: …We should have known.
Arthur: …Maman?
Pascale: We took away something she loved.
Pascale: And then we never gave it back.
Charles: We didn’t have the money.
Pascale: No. But when we did have the money, we put it into restarting Arthur’s karting career.
Arthur: …
Charles: …
Lorenzo: Merde.
Pascale: And we never even considered doing the same for Isabelle.
Pascale: Not once.
Arthur: I—Maman, I didn’t even think—
Pascale: No. None of us did.
Pascale: She cried for weeks when we sold Blanche. And then, one day, she just stopped talking about it.
Pascale: I thought she had let it go.
Charles: She didn’t let it go. She just realized no one was listening.
Pascale: And I, her own mother, let her believe that if it wasn’t about racing, it wasn’t important.
Lorenzo: We all did.
Arthur: We failed her.
Pascale: And yet she still loved us enough to stay.
Pascale: Even when we didn’t see her.
Charles: We need to fix this.
Arthur: Step one: find out who gave her the horse.
Pascale: Step one: apologize.
Arthur: Step two: figure out how we didn’t even KNOW she was riding again.
Lorenzo: When would she have had the time?
Pascale: She found a way. Because we didn’t give her one.
Pascale: Do you know what hurts the most?
Charles: What?
Pascale: That I don’t even know what kind of life she’s been living.
Pascale: What she loves. Where she goes. Who she spends time with.
Pascale: She grew up right in front of me, and I don’t know her at all.
Arthur: …How do we fix this?
Pascale: I don’t know if we can. ****
Meanwhile on Twitter:
@/F1TeaSpillerIsabelle Leclerc just casually dropped a photo of a whole horse on Instagram, and her brothers had NO IDEA she was even riding again. The family drama is writing itself.
↳ @/LandoSimp44: How do you not notice your sister getting into an expensive, time-consuming hobby???
↳ @/FerrariF1Stan: Maybe because they’ve never paid attention to her interests in the first place…??
↳ @/LeclercFanGirl16: Charles and Arthur are spiraling in the comments, Lorenzo is confused, and Isabelle is just out here ignoring them all. QUEEN.
@/F1GossipGirlHold on. Isabelle didn’t just get any horse. If I’m reading this correctly, this foal is from her childhood horse. The one her family SOLD.
↳ @/MaxForPresident33: Oh, so she’s still THAT angry. And honestly? Good for her.
↳ @/RedBullRacingUpdates: The way she’s been quiet for two whole weeks and then dropped a horse like a bombshell?? I need to know who gave it to her.
↳ @/FerrariDramaAccount: Isabelle’s silence has been screaming for a week straight, and now this. The Leclerc brothers are doomed.
@/F1MemeLordLeclerc brothers: "We totally care about our sister." Also the Leclerc brothers: Completely unaware she’s been riding again and now owns a horse.
↳ @/CharlesFanClub: Yeah, Isabelle is 100% still mad. She really said, "You forgot my birthday? Watch this."
↳ @/MonacoMess: Isabelle is SO passive-aggressive and I respect it.
↳ @/HorseGirlFC: I just KNOW she’s been waiting for the perfect moment to drop this. Iconic behavior.
@/F1InsiderTalk: No, but real talk—if her brothers had no idea she was even riding again, that means they haven’t been paying attention to her at all. That’s rough.
↳ @/TifosiQueen: She had a birthday and they forgot. Now she has a whole damn horse and they didn’t even know she still liked horses.
↳ @/MonacoGossip: Isabelle could disappear to another continent, and I swear they wouldn’t notice until someone tagged them in an Instagram post.
↳ @/ArthurFan27: I love Arthur, but the way none of them know anything about her is actually kind of sad.
@/ChaosModeF1I just KNOW Isabelle had this horse for a bit before dropping it like a bomb on Instagram. The drama, the suspense, the Leclerc brothers losing their minds in real time.
↳ @/MaxVerstappenDefenseSquad: The fact that she didn’t post anything about her birthday but came back with a horse tells me everything I need to know.
↳@/FerrariWoes: I feel like this was the final straw moment.
@/RedBullTroll33Okay, but WHO gave her the horse? Because that’s a serious gift.
↳@/ F1ConspiracyClub: If it was Charles or Arthur, they wouldn’t be so confused in the comments. If it was Lorenzo, he wouldn’t be freaking out too.
↳ @/FerrariPain42: Soooo… secret boyfriend? 👀
↳@/F1ShippersAnonymous: If this turns out to be a soft launch, I WILL lose my mind.
@/MonacoRoyaltyI don’t know who gave Isabelle Leclerc a horse, but I do know that person knows her better than her own family does.
↳ @/FerrariNation: …Damn. That’s actually heartbreaking when you put it like that.
↳ @/IsabelleLeclercDefenseSquad: She really just had to go out and find people who see her, huh?
↳ @/WhoGaveHerAHorse33: Someone get me the details. NOW.
@/F1ChaosModeThe funniest part of this is that Isabelle still hasn’t responded to any of her brothers. Just posted her horse and dipped.
↳ @/LeclercFamilyUpdates: The sheer level of pettiness. I love her.
↳ @/TifosiHeartbreak: Isabelle really said you forgot me, so now I’m forgetting you.
↳ @/FerrariShambles: I want a documentary about the exact moment Charles realized they were bad brothers.
@/F1SpicyTeaI know we’re all laughing, but this actually makes me so sad for Isabelle. Imagine your whole family forgetting your birthday, ignoring you for years, and then being SHOCKED when you move on with your life.
↳ @/MonacoMess: They didn’t even know she still loved horses.
↳ @/FerrariF1Pain: The worst part? She didn’t even make a dramatic callout post about her birthday. She just let their silence speak for itself.
↳ @/TifosiAngstClub: She is the human embodiment of "I no longer expect anything from you."
@/F1ConspiracyClubIsabelle didn’t just buy this horse. Somebody gave it to her, according to her. Whoever they are, they know her better than her entire family.
↳ @/SoftLaunchDetective: If this is a secret boyfriend reveal, it’s the most dramatic and poetic one I’ve ever seen.
@/MonacoRoyalty: Isabelle Leclerc is the queen of quiet revenge. No loud callouts. No arguments. Just a perfectly timed Instagram post that says everything.
↳ @/FerrariTears: And the best part? Her brothers are LOSING IT in the comments.
↳ @/ArthurLeclercDefenseSquad: Arthur is panicking like she’s about to disappear forever.
↳ @/CharlesHasNoClue: Charles sounds like he’s five seconds away from personally investigating who gave her the horse.
↳ @/TifosiDetectives: The thing is, they should know. But they don’t.
@/TifosiMess: So let me get this straight:
Isabelle’s family forgot her birthday.
She disappeared for two weeks.
Charles finally remembers that he has a sister.
Isabelle comes back with a horse.
Drops it on Instagram like it’s a casual Tuesday.
Her brothers have no idea where it came from.
I am obsessed with this timeline.
↳ @/FerrariAngst: I’m still stuck on "they didn’t even know she was riding again."
↳ @/CharlesNeedsHelp: The way they suddenly care now that it’s public.
@/F1SoftLaunchDetective: I’ll say it. Whoever gave her the horse loves her more than her own family does.
↳ @/FerrariHeartbreak: And that’s why the Leclerc brothers are panicking.
↳ @/RedBullInsider: Just waiting for the next phase of this drama. I know something bigger is coming.
↳ @/TifosiConspiracies: I have a gut feeling that when we find out who got her the horse, the internet will EXPLODE.

Text Messages: Arthur Leclerc & Belle Verstappen
Arthur: I don’t really know how to start this.
Arthur: But I guess the first thing I need to say is—I’m sorry.
Arthur: I keep thinking about when I had to stop karting. How devastated I was. How unfair it felt.
Arthur: You know, when I was younger, I used to think we were the same.
Arthur: We both lost something for Charles. We both had to step aside.
Arthur: But the difference is, I got my second chance.
Arthur: And you never did.
Arthur: They gave me my dream back. But nobody ever thought to give you yours.
Arthur: And the worst part is, I never even thought about it.
Arthur: I was so focused on getting my own dream back that I never stopped to ask if you wanted yours.
Arthur: Or if you were even okay.
Arthur: I remember when they sold Blanche. You locked yourself in your room for days. Maman kept saying you’d get over it.
Arthur: But you never did, did you?
Arthur: I should have noticed. I should have asked.
Arthur: I should have known that you never stopped loving it. That you never moved on just because we assumed you did.
Arthur: But we never gave you a choice, did we?
Arthur: You were always the one who had to sacrifice something. You were always the one who had to step aside.
Arthur: And I never even thought about how much that must have hurt.
Arthur: I let myself believe you were fine because it was easier than realizing we left you behind.
Arthur: When I saw that horse, I thought my heart stopped. She looks just like Blanche.
Arthur: I had to read your post three times before it sank in. That you never let go of that part of yourself. That you found your way back.
Arthur: And none of us even knew.
Arthur: I don’t know where to start making this right. I don’t know if I even can.
Arthur: I don’t expect you to answer me. I don’t even know if I deserve an answer.
Arthur: But Isabelle, if there is even the smallest chance that I can fix this, that I can fix us—
Arthur: Tell me how. And I’ll do it.
Arthur: No hesitation. No questions asked.
Arthur: Je suis désolé, petite sœur.
Arthur: And I miss you.

@/coraliegaudin: I don’t think people really get how much Isabelle Leclerc sacrificed. I knew her at university, and she was one of the smartest, hardest-working people I’ve ever met. But she never seemed happy. A thread.
↳ @/coraliegaudin: She wasn’t the type to talk about herself. She showed up, did the work, and left. No parties, no celebrations, nothing. Just school and her jobs.
↳@/coraliegaudin: And she always had jobs. She tutored, did internships, and worked at a stable. Yes, a stable.
↳@/coraliegaudin: I remember seeing her come to class still smelling like hay, her hands rough from work. And the thing is? That was the only time she ever looked truly alive.
↳@/coraliegaudin: She never told people why, but I found out later—her family sold her childhood horse when she was a teenager.
↳@/coraliegaudin: She didn’t ask them to fix it. She didn’t ask for help. She just worked. Worked herself into the ground to afford even a few hours of riding time.
↳@/coraliegaudin: I remember once, someone asked her why she never celebrated her grades. She just said, “It’s not that important.”
↳@/coraliegaudin: Not that important. Graduating with top honors. Getting a degree. None of it mattered to her. Because all she ever wanted was something she lost years ago.
↳@/coraliegaudin: And now, she has a horse again. Not just any horse—the foal of the one she lost.
↳@/coraliegaudin: I don’t think people understand how huge that is. This isn’t just a gift. It’s her entire dream given back to her.
↳@/coraliegaudin: She spent years giving up things for other people. But someone finally gave something back to her.
↳@/coraliegaudin: If anyone deserves that kind of love and thoughtfulness, it’s Isabelle Leclerc. I hope she’s finally as happy as she always deserved to be.

Lorenzo: Isabelle.
Lorenzo: I know you probably don’t want to hear from me.
Lorenzo: But I need to say this.
Lorenzo: I’m sorry.
Lorenzo: I don’t know how we forgot your birthday. I don’t know how we’ve made you feel so invisible.
Lorenzo: But we did. And I hate that it took this for me to realize how badly we’ve failed you.
Lorenzo: You’ve been riding again. I didn’t know. And that’s the problem, isn’t it?
Lorenzo: I should have. I should have asked. I should have paid more attention.
Lorenzo: But I didn’t.
Lorenzo: I should have asked what you were up to. I should have…I should have known that you were riding again. And that you moved. And that you quit your job. But I didn’t.
Lorenzo: I just assumed you were fine, even when you had every reason not to be.
Lorenzo: I don’t expect you to answer.
Lorenzo: I just need you to know—I see it now. I see you now.
Lorenzo: And I will spend however long it takes making sure you never feel forgotten again.
Lorenzo: I love you, Isabelle.

Meanwhile on Twitter:
@/Clara_Marelli: So I wasn’t going to say anything, but seeing all the speculation about Isabelle Leclerc and her new horse? I need people to understand why this is such a big deal. Because I knew her back when she lost her first horse, and let me tell you—it broke her.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: Isabelle wasn’t just a horse girl, she was the horse girl. You know how some kids live and breathe a sport? That was her with riding. It wasn’t just a hobby, it was everything.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: She used to come to school with hay in her hair because she’d wake up early to ride before class. She had riding gloves permanently stuffed in her pockets. She sketched horses in the margins of her notebooks. It was who she was.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: And then one day, she stopped.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: We were all confused. She never shut up about riding, and suddenly, she wouldn’t even mention it. If you asked about her horse, she’d just give this tight little smile and say, “She’s gone.” No explanation. No emotion. Just… gone.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: We only found out later that her family sold her horse to help fund Charles’ racing career. And look—I get it, racing is insanely expensive, and the Leclercs aren’t the first family to make sacrifices for motorsport. But this wasn’t just some hobby she could pick up again later.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: This was the thing that made her happiest, and it was ripped away from her.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: And what made it worse? She never complained. Not once. She just swallowed it, like she had already learned that what she wanted didn’t matter.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: After that, she changed. She got quieter. She stopped sketching horses. She stopped talking about anything she loved, really. It was like she decided—consciously or not—that if she didn’t care about things, they couldn’t be taken from her.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: And now, years later, she suddenly posts that she has a horse again. And her own brothers didn’t even know she was riding.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: That tells me everything. It tells me that she never stopped missing it. That, at some point, she must have started riding again, but she kept it completely to herself. She didn’t tell her family. She didn’t trust them with it.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: And honestly? That makes me so, so sad. Because they should’ve been the first to know. They should’ve noticed that she was still hurting.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: Instead, she had to find her way back to something she loved on her own.
↳@/Clara_Marelli: Whoever got her that horse—because let’s be real, this wasn’t a random purchase—they didn’t just give her a gift. They gave her back a part of herself. And that means more than her family probably even realizes.
@/F1Girl99: This is actually so heartbreaking. The way she just shut down after losing her horse?? And her family didn’t even realize??
@/LeclercNation: Nah, this makes the whole thing so much worse. Like, it’s one thing to forget her birthday, but not even knowing she still rides??
@/redbullgirly: “She didn’t trust them with it” is actually such a devastating sentence. Imagine having to hide the thing that makes you happiest because you know your family won’t care.
↳@/arthurfairy: The fact that she got a horse again but didn’t tell a single soul in her family tells me everything I need to know about how much that hurt her.
@/gridgossip: Everyone’s talking about how sad this is, but can we also talk about who got her that horse? Because that’s not a small gift. That’s a “someone knows exactly what you lost and wanted to give it back” kind of gift.
@/tifositilidie: Imagine being Charles or Arthur and realizing you never even thought about getting her back into riding.
↳@/ohmyf1: The fact that they restarted Arthur’s karting career but didn’t do the same for Isabelle and just assumed she got over it… yeah, that’s rough.
@/chaoticquadrant: Isabelle’s silence about all of this is louder than anything she could’ve said.
@/pitlaneprincess: The fact that a random classmate knows more about Isabelle’s pain than her own family is WILD.
@/verstapwinning: I actually can’t get over the part where she just stopped talking about things she loved after they sold her horse. That’s not just sadness, that’s trauma.
@/softforcharles: I love Charles, but the way they all just assumed she was fine… like, did no one ever ask her if she wanted to ride again??
↳@/F1andChill: I’m just saying—if my sibling was secretly riding again and I found out from Instagram, I would simply pass away from shame.
@/IsabelleLeclercFan: The worst part? She didn’t even announce it like “Look what I got!” She just posted it, like it was a casual thing. That’s how you know it meant everything to her.
@/formula1tea: Okay, but do we think her family even realizes what this means yet?? Or are they still stuck on the “Wait, she rides?” stage?
@/offtrackchaos: Imagine Charles thinking she just outgrew the horse phase, only to find out she’s been hiding it from them for years.
@/arthurisstressed: Arthur’s probably having a full-blown crisis over this. You just know he’s the type to blame himself.
@/MaranelloMess: Isabelle’s whole family right now: “Wait… are we the villains?”
↳@/tifosiprincess: Yes. Yes, you are.
@/undercutf1: Like imagine realizing your sister got back into her childhood passion, something that was taken from her, and you had no idea. No one knew. That’s insane.
@/arthurwasfoundshaking: Arthur realizing he got his dream back but she never did… oh, he’s spiraling.
@/paddocksecrets: Her whole family just realized in real time that they don’t actually know her anymore.
@/charlesnation16: Charles must be freaking out because, in his head, Isabelle never even mentioned wanting to ride again. But the reality is she probably knew they wouldn’t care, so she never said anything.
@/leclercsdaughter: Imagine looking at your sister’s post and realizing someone else—not you, not your family—gave her back the thing you all took away.
@/mclarendreaming: The fact that there was ZERO lead-up. No hints. No casual mentions. Just BAM, full horse.
@/paddockwhispers: At this point, someone needs to check on the Leclerc group chat. I know they are LOSING IT.
@/padlockpundit: Someone said this isn’t just a gift, it’s an apology on behalf of the universe, and honestly?? Yeah.
@/blisteringbarnacles: I can’t tell what’s funnier—Twitter solving this mystery in real-time or the fact that Isabelle is probably watching all of this unfold while sipping tea.
@/hamiltonshalo: Someone find out how much horses cost because I need to understand just how deep this gift goes.
@/GridTea: Sorry, but how do you have a sibling making millions in F1, and you’re out here working three jobs and shoveling horse stalls just to afford riding lessons?? I need someone to make it make sense.
@/F1DramaFiles: So Charles was making Ferrari money and Isabelle was out here grinding like a broke college student?? He couldn’t spare a little “my sister should live like a human being” fund???
@/OverworkedLeclerc: She was out here studying, working multiple jobs, AND still showing up to races when she could. Meanwhile, her whole family forgot her birthday. I would simply cut everyone off.
@/HorseGirlAnon: Do you know how EXPENSIVE equestrian sports are? And she worked her own way back into it with no support? That’s insane. She deserved so much better.
@/TifosiMess: Charles in every interview: “Family is everything.”Meanwhile Isabelle: was forgotten at every major milestone in her life.
@/F1Receipts: It’s also the fact that Isabelle has never once publicly complained about it. No bitter comments, no shade—she just put her head down and worked. Meanwhile, Charles was out here with a whole family support system hyping him up.
@/F1Overthinker: Not to be dramatic, but if I were Charles, Arthur, or Lorenzo, I would simply never recover from the public dragging happening right now.
@/F1TeaSpiller:
Charles: “I’m so grateful to my family for supporting me.”
Isabelle: literally working at a horse stable just to be around them again.
@/JusticeForIsabelle: Nah, the fact that she was grinding through multiple jobs while Charles was out here buying sports cars, yachts, and luxury vacations is actually making me sick.
@/MonacoMess: Me reading Isabelle’s old interviews where she barely mentions herself and only hypes up her brothers, knowing now they weren’t doing the same for her: [GIF: "This is so much worse than I thought."]

Text Messages: Sebastian Vettel & Charles Leclerc
Sebastian: Charles. Saw Belle’s post. Wanted to check in.
Charles: I’m fine.
Sebastian: You’re not. And that’s okay. But pretending doesn’t help.
Charles: It’s just— She has a horse, Seb. A whole horse. And she never told any of us.
Sebastian: Maybe you weren’t listening.
Charles: I WOULD HAVE REMEMBERED A HORSE.
Sebastian: Would you? You didn’t remember her birthday. You didn’t notice she moved out. You didn’t notice she left her job. What makes you think you would have noticed a horse?
Charles: It’s a HORSE, Seb! Not a haircut!
Sebastian: It’s not about the horse. It’s about what the horse represents. Freedom. Love. A piece of herself you never asked about. Or thought to give back.
Charles: It feels like she lied to us.
Sebastian: She didn’t lie. She protected herself. There’s a difference.
Charles: She didn’t even give us a chance to fix it.
Sebastian: Charles. You don't get to demand trust from someone you ignored. Trust is built. It’s not owed.
Charles: I just— I thought she was okay.
Sebastian: Because it was easier to think that than to ask.
Charles: She posted a horse, Seb. A HORSE. HOW LONG HAS SHE BEEN HIDING A HORSE??
Sebastian: (typing) (long pause) Charles. Focus. It’s not about the horse.
Charles: IT’S A LITTLE ABOUT THE HORSE.
Sebastian: Focus.
Charles: I’m trying.
Sebastian: Try harder. She deserves better.

Meanwhile on Twitter:
@/F1TeaSpiller: Okay, so if you’re confused about why Isabelle Leclerc’s new horse is causing a meltdown, buckle up, because this is some Shakespearean family drama.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: Basically, years ago, when Charles was climbing the motorsport ranks, the Leclerc family didn’t have the money to support all three kids in racing. Arthur had to stop karting, and Isabelle—who was really into horseback riding—had her horse sold to fund Charles’ career.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: Yes. You read that correctly. They sold her childhood horse to support Charles.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: Now, obviously, funding a motorsport career is insanely expensive, and a lot of families make sacrifices. But imagine being a teenager, loving your horse, and then one day—boom. Gone.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: What makes it worse? Unlike Arthur, who eventually got the chance to restart his racing career, Isabelle never got that opportunity with riding. The family focused on Charles and never revisited her dreams.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: Fast forward to now, and Isabelle just casually drops on Instagram that she owns a horse again—and it looks eerily similar to the one they sold.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: Her brothers (Charles, Arthur, Lorenzo) all freaked out in the comments because they clearly had no idea she was even riding again, let alone that she had bought a horse.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: And this is where it gets messy. Because it means:
They never asked about her interests.
They had no clue she had started riding again.
They didn’t even know where she was living.
She never told them about any of this—which, like… speaks volumes.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: Anyway, people are connecting the dots and realizing Isabelle has probably been pulling away from her family for a while, and they just… didn’t notice.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: Because let’s be real—how do you forget your sister’s birthday, AND not know she got back into the thing she loved most as a kid??
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: TL;DR: The Leclerc brothers are in big trouble right now.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: Oh, and the final kicker? Isabelle agreed in the comments that the horse was a gift. The way Isabelle phrased her post—“some things will always come back to you”—makes it sound like this horse is directly connected to the one she lost. Apparently it was her childhood’s horse last foal.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: If that’s true? Then someone—who is not her family—went out of their way to find a descendant of her old horse and give her back a piece of what she lost.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: And I have questions.
↳@/F1TeaSpiller: Because if her own family didn’t do this… who did?

The restaurant buzzed with quiet conversation and clinking silverware, candlelight glinting off polished glasses. It should have been relaxing — a rare, normal night in Monaco, tucked into a corner booth with Alexandra, sipping wine and trying to pretend that everything wasn’t on fire.
It wasn’t working.
Charles could barely focus on anything she was saying. His mind kept looping back to Belle’s Instagram post.
A horse. A goddamn horse.
Captioned cryptically, like some kind of soft dagger straight into his already-shredded guilt.
He hadn’t even known she still rode. He hadn’t known she had a horse.
What else didn’t he know? What else had he missed while he was busy pretending everything was fine?
He stabbed his fork into his salad with unnecessary violence.
Alexandra reached across the table, covering his hand. “Eat. You’re spiraling.”
Charles muttered something about not being hungry, but then — movement over Alexandra’s shoulder caught his eye.
He straightened immediately.
Across the room, near the outdoor terrace, sat two very familiar figures.
Emilie Abadie. And Lando Norris?!
Together. Laughing.
Leaning in too close over a shared plate of something fried.
It didn’t look like a casual meeting.
It looked like a date.
Charles’s blood pressure spiked instantly.
Because if Emilie was here — and laughing — that meant Belle wasn’t spiraling alone somewhere. Or worse — she wasn’t telling Emilie to tell him anything.
He shot up from his seat before Alexandra could stop him.
"Charles," she hissed, trying to grab his sleeve. "Sit down!"
But he was already marching across the restaurant, half-blinded by panic, guilt, and the deep, bone-deep need to do something.
Emilie spotted him halfway across the room. Her smile dropped like a rock into the ocean.
"Emilie," he said, voice tight. "We need to talk. About Belle."
Emilie set her wineglass down with infuriating calm.
"I’m having dinner," she said coolly. "Sit down or leave."
Charles didn’t sit. He couldn’t. The panic was a living thing inside him.
“She posted a horse,” he said, almost accusingly. “A horse! She never said anything! She’s still not answering me. You’ve seen her. You know. Why won’t you just—just tell me what’s going on?!”
For a second, Emilie just stared at him.
Then — like a blade sliding out of a sheath — her smile disappeared.
"You think you're owed answers now?" she asked, voice so sharp Charles actually leaned back a fraction. "After months of ignoring every warning sign? After standing in the same garage with her and looking through her like she wasn’t even real?"
Charles’s throat worked, but no sound came out.
"You want to know why she’s not answering you?" Emilie went on, soft and lethal. "Because you only want her when it's convenient. When it fits your schedule. When it doesn't mess up the perfect story you tell yourself about your family."
“Emilie—”
"No," she cut across him, fierce and furious. "You don’t get to interrupt. You didn’t text her. You didn’t notice she moved. You didn’t notice she quit her job. You didn’t notice when she smiled through being forgotten on the day that should have been about her."
Charles flinched like she’d slapped him.
"You forgot her birthday," Emilie said, each word a scalpel slicing down to bone. "And you think a few panicked phone calls are enough to fix that?"
He opened his mouth. Closed it.
"You don't love Belle the way you should," Emilie said, voice low, devastating. "You love the idea of her. The safe, quiet little sister who never asks for anything. Who never demands too much. Who lets you shine without ever threatening your light."
Charles stared at her, feeling hollowed out, feeling cracked open.
"You didn't see her when she needed you," Emilie said. "And now you don't deserve to see her at all — not until she says you can."
Beside her, Lando sat perfectly still, wide-eyed — half in awe, half in something dangerously close to admiration.
Charles shook his head, trying to hold onto something, anything.
“I just want to make it right—”
"Then start by not making it about you," Emilie snapped. "Start by realizing that sometimes you don’t get to be the hero of the story you broke."
Charles felt like the floor had dropped out from under him.
For a long moment, the restaurant spun around him — laughter, silverware, clinking glasses — but all he could hear was Emilie’s voice, merciless and true.
And he knew, in some terrible, undeniable way, that she was right.
He wasn’t the center of Belle’s story anymore.
He wasn’t even a footnote.
He had made himself a ghost in her life, and now he was furious that he couldn’t haunt it.
Emilie leaned back in her chair, perfectly calm now, like she hadn’t just torn him apart at the seams.
"Now," she said, reaching for her wine again, "go back to your table. Apologize to Alexandra. And maybe — if you’re lucky — figure out how to be someone your sister actually wants to let back in."
Charles didn’t say anything. He couldn’t.
He turned away on shaking legs, retreating across the restaurant under the weight of his own failure.

Text Messages: Charles Leclerc & Belle Verstappen
Charles: Isabelle.
Charles: I know you probably don’t want to hear from me. I get it. I’m still going to say this anyway.
Charles: I was fifteen when they sold Blanche. I knew how much she meant to you. I knew how much it would break your heart.
Charles: And I still let it happen. I told myself it wasn’t my decision. That it was out of my hands. That it was for the greater good.
Charles: But that’s not the truth. The truth is, I was selfish. I was scared. I was so focused on keeping my own dream alive that I let them take yours away.
Charles: I didn’t fight for you. I didn’t even try.
Charles: I keep thinking about that day. The way you looked at them. At me. Like you finally understood that nothing you said was ever going to change it. And still, I stayed quiet. I just let it happen.
Charles: You didn’t scream. You didn’t cry. You just… disappeared inside yourself. And we all pretended it would get better on its own.
Charles: It didn’t.
Charles: When Arthur got his second chance years later, we celebrated. But we never once thought about giving you yours. We just assumed you had "moved on."
Charles: I see now how wrong that was. You didn’t move on. You just learned how to survive being left behind.
Charles: And then we forgot your birthday. You were standing right there. Wearing Ferrari red. Smiling at me. And I still didn’t see you.
Charles: I keep asking myself how many times we made you feel invisible without even realizing it.
Charles: I don’t blame you for shutting us out. I don’t blame you for walking away. You deserved better than what we gave you.
Charles: And I’m sorry. I am so, so sorry.
Charles: I don’t know how to fix this. Maybe I can’t.
Charles: But I want to try. If you’ll let me.
Charles: If you need space, I’ll give you space. If you need time, I’ll wait. If you never want to speak to me again, I’ll understand.
Charles: But if there’s any chance at all—any way to rebuild even a fraction of what we broke— I’ll do whatever it takes.
Charles: No excuses. No conditions. No timeline.
Charles: I’ll wait as long as you need. I’ll listen as long as it takes.
Charles: You mattered then. You matter now. You always have. Even when we were too blind to see it.
Charles: I love you. I’m so sorry I ever made you doubt that.

By no means had you known what being alone was like.
After Aemond, you were the fifth child of king Viserys to survive childhood. Daeron was your youngest by two years, and like your sister, you were dotted and cared for by your mother and father… unlike your brothers.
Your mother had a weird way to demonstrate affection to them, you always thought. With Aegon was non-existent, and Aemond had this burden to be the reliable sibling amongst them all.
When Aegon had to marry Helaena; you married Aemond. It was how the tradition dictates, and it was under your father’s wish, much to your mother’s dislike.
And just like Helaena, you recently had a daughter with Aemond, Rhaelle, who was the apple of his father’s eye. Yet, the only difference between your duty and Helaena’s is that she wasn’t the one who had to take care of Aegon. Instead, you took care of Aegon’s whims, alongside your husband’s.
Aegon was greedy, whiny and clingy. He searched you whenever he wanted, following you around like a puppy for your attention. Whereas Aemond was quiet, reserved and embarrassed, but not less greedy. He often wanted comfort, praise for his action and the reassurance that he was doing no wrong in his desires.
Both of them accepted the other, in a quiet agreement. You were a petulant person, and if you wanted, they knew this, all of it, would be over. So they shut up their differences for the sake of it.
Aegon was curled by your right side, lying on the bed of your chambers. Post coital bliss at its finest, as he was slightly sleepy, and even a bit grumpy when bothered. It had been some cold days, but the fire made it more bearable, and it gave some sense of cosiness to both. He was just resting, a bit sleepy, his head on your stomach as you read some silly book about Valyrian fashion, as his legs were pressed against your shoulder, as you slowly caressed his leg, soothing him like that.
You hear his soft yawn, as the laziness of the evening consumes you both as you are cuddled against the other for the warm. As Aegon draws slowly patterns upon the lower part of your chest, you feel the door of the chambers opening knowing it was your husband
You lower your book, caressing Aegon’s heel and calf, as you look at Aemond, walking closer to the bed as he makes a slight face at seeing Aegon here, as if he wanted you all for himself. He takes his boots quickly, moving to take off his leather jerkin.
“Hi” You say, softly, and he hums. You can see it in the slight frown on his face.
Aegon stirs a hit, not greeting Aemond as he sits on the bed, closer to you. Like a lazy cat, he yawns, and you feel his muscles stretching a bit.
“Did you tuck Rhaelle?” Aemond asks, his shoulders tensed up as he takes off his eye patch and loses up his hair. He was tired, you could see.
“Yes, she is sleeping in the nursery…” You say softly, looking at him. “What is it?” You ask, seeing how Aemond wants something, yet he doesn’t know how to say it, looking at you a bit unsure.
“Mummy” He whines softly, frowning as his tone was a bit sheepishly, sitting closer to you, by your left side.
You press your lips together, looking at him as he seems so vulnerable, and tired, for whatever reason he probably will tell you later. Aegon nuzzles your stomach, his interest piqued on Aemond’s word, because if it involves Aemond, it will involve him as well.
The unspoken words between you and Aemond are no obstacle to knowing what he wants. You know your brothers, surely, but Aemond was different. Aemond was your husband, and you knew him like the palm of your hand.
Aemond nods shyly, as if agreeing with the thought on your mind, and he scoots closer once you sit better on the bed, leaning back properly on the pillows. Your nightgown is easy to untie at the front, more so when you are lactating and need an easy way to open the dress. Rhaelle would fuss and wail her little lungs out, so your clothes were always easy to undo.
Now, if Rhaelle’s father and uncle enjoy the same, is another thing.
You undo the laces in the front of your dress, and you know how Aegon reincorporates to sit, suddenly all woken up and interested in this. The dress is pure cotton, and it is comfortable to wear. You pull the fabric out of the way, and with their gazes following your each movement, you know it is a matter of time for them to hungrily latch onto you.
Aegon curls up to your right side, whereas Aemond does the same on your left. He always preferred your left, since the blind spot faces Aegon, so he doesn’t have to bear seeing him too. Aegon is much more shameless, clinging to you and moving his hips softly against your right side.
You feel both men getting closer, and their breaths hit your nipples as they nuzzle your blossom, in hopes of sucking hungrily.
“Aegon…” you say softly as he was growing impatient, moving a bit as he pressed his face closer to your breast, restless and eager.
Aemond is never restless; he stayed still as he loved, caring. He always pressed faint kisses, around your tits, before suckling calmly. His left arm always found its way to wrap your waist, keeping you close to him as he delighted himself with soothing milk.
Instead, Aegon immediately latched onto your breast, suckling and trying to get all the milk he could, eagerly as he always seemed relentless, always craving more and more. He’d watch you with bright, purple eyes as he craved for your attention.
You comb their hair with your fingers, kiss the top of their heads and rub their back. They were your older brothers, but behaved like hungry little kittens that needed their milk.
Always was a bit strange, as they weren’t always amicable. It took a long time, for Aemond, at least, to join in. It was mainly due to the fact that Aegon rarely left you alone, even if you were Aemond’s wife. Little by little, they learned how to warm up to each other, and sometimes to your request, they’ll kiss.
The suckling sounds are loud, almost obscene, as you feel both swallow each drop from your leaking milk. Aemond had probably been tasting it since the end of your pregnancy, yet it didn’t tire him at all. And Aegon? He was always hungry, and he suckled and his tongue lapped your breast, milking more and more.
You can feel how they swallow the milk, both eager. Aemond has a hand around your waist, as Aegon has his hand around your breast and squeezes it slightly as if to have more.
“Mummy” Aegon murmurs, pulling back as he looks at you, and he has wide purple eyes “are we being good?”
The reassurance is a must, you realise with time. “Yes, baby. You both are my good boys” you murmur, caressing the top of their head “Both of you, my best boys…”
They delight themselves in the praise; you hear Aemond’s faint moans, as you feel his body at ease. You caress the back of his head, feeling the loose hairs on your fingers.
It always made you feel the arousal settle in the lower part of your belly, and feeling so turned on you had to press your thighs together a bit. Aemond loved when your breast grew larger, and full of milk. Aegon was not behind that feeling, as he was the one to propose the idea to ‘help you with the heaviness of them’.
Aegon gulps on the milk like a glutton, and his eyes are closed in the delight of nursing. You feel his cock hardening little by little by your side. Aemond instead, looks at you. His eye is deep and intense, watching your face as his mouth is still working on your nipple, his tongue pressing against the nub getting more milk. His hand on your waist loosens up slightly, slowly moving down all the way to your stomach, and little by little, makes its way to your centre.
Aegon is oblivious to that, as he suckles and slurps loudly, with not a care for the world, nipping and licking all of the sweet milk that your breast can produce. He whines a bit, scooping closer and closer as he tries to get more and more.
“Doing such a good job for mummy, darlings…” You say to both, as you feel Aemond’s hand almost innocently brushing against your womanhood. “So good…” You murmur dreamily, sighing as Aegon nuzzles his face closer to your right breast, his nose brushing the skin as his mouth slightly presses a bit harder, eager for more.
They could feel you moving under their touch, almost possessive as they fed from you, keeping you right there at their mercy. The sound of your praise stirred something in both of them, yearning more of your affections, more of mummy’s affections.
Aemond is the first one to pull away from your breast, beginning to shift as his body moves higher, his mouth kissing all the way up to kiss you in the lips. You hum, feeling the taste of your own milk on his lips.
“Mummy” Aegon protests, not wanting to be left out as always, as he pulls away from your breast, an obscene sound from it as he moves his head to nuzzle your cheek, kissing lazily to keep on worshipping your body.
Aware of how his hand was still between your legs, Aemond pressed it harder against your core, rubbing more firmly. As if wanting to draw more sounds from you, Aegon moves his hand to grope softly, carefully your breast, not wanting to leave a part from you unattended.
“You are such good boys for me, always wanting to please me, hm?” You say, panting a bit from how good your husband's hands on your pussy feels.
“Yes mummy” Aemond murmurs, and Aegon nods in agreement.
It’s as if Aemond knows your thoughts, because he turns to watch Aegon, moving slightly his other hand to place it on the back of his neck, pulling Aegon closer to share a slow, yet passionate kiss between both of them.
They could feel the milky taste in the other’s mouth, and you could see how their tongues crashed against each other, making it as sloppy as possible as they made out for quite some time, as Aemond’s fingers tried to pry into your clit and pussy.
You know that at the beginning it was more to put on a show for you, for your delight that they agreed to do as well. If they enjoyed it, you could never know. But now it’s different, watching how they hungrily seek each other’s mouth, and if one tries to pull away, the other is quick to lean, following their mouth to keep on kissing.
It’s hot, to say the least, and it makes wonders for your arousal to see both of them kiss like this. You think, for a moment, if you could maybe propose the idea for them to follow this lust for each other further. Maybe for another occasion.
As Aemond’s lips move to kiss Aegon’s neck, you see how your baby seems so aroused, you could always see it clearly with Aegon, how his cheeks turned pinker and he had that blissful expression. You feel Aemond’s hand moving away from your core, and before you could ask anything, they both pulled away from each other.
Aemond probably murmured something in Aegon's ear, because they shared a look before the eldest slowly turned to you.
“Mummy, can we please you…? We wanna taste your pussy… please…” he asked, and you see how Aemond looks at you, awaiting your answer, as his hand caresses your thigh softly.
You caress Aegon’s thigh softly, as they both almost look at you with puppy eyes.
“Yes, my darlings. Please mummy with your mouths”
It does not take them long to accommodate between your legs, Aemond presses one hand to your left leg, keeping it still. Aegon does not bother to do the same for your left thigh, as he has other priorities.
You feel Aegon’s mouth first, his tongue tracing along her slit. Aemond moves his hand to the back of Aegon’s head, pushing his mouth further into your cunt, as the eldest savours your wetness. And at the sound of your moans, he doubles his efforts.
Then it’s Aegon who pulls your husband’s face down to join his mouth, both of them licking and sucking your wet cunt. You can see both of them, their cheeks pressed together as they pleasure you with their mouths at the same time, licking and slurping in unison.
“Fuck, f-fuck, gods…” you moan, your hips moving closer, grinding against his tongues, grabbing Aegon’s hair, short and easy to grab (unlike Aemond’s)
Aegon seems delighted at that, and you feel his tongue darting out to suck your clit eagerly, and you feel your jaw moving at the motion, and he whimpers with need. Aemond is, as always, focused as he slurps and sucks on her entrance, obscene sounds fill the room as his expert mouth works on you.
They both clearly relish both the taste and the privilege of having their faces buried between your thighs, moving to please you, and their tongues crashing together as they do so.
“Mummy, you taste so good” you don’t even recognise the sound, the sound muffled by the little space between his mouth and your folds.
“Fuck, so good…” the other agrees, and your legs tremble, as your hips try to get more and more of their wicked tongues.
Aegon is the one whining, you know that. As you pull his hair, you see his needy eyes looking at you. You press your heel on his back, as if pushing him closer to your cunt. He moans, closing his eyes as he goes back to feasting on your pussy.
Aemond moved to your clit now, and you can see how the sapphire glints on the dim lights. You imagine that both of their cocks are rock hard, throbbing impatiently.
Maybe it’s Aegon or Aemond (maybe both) the one who drools, while the muffled moans still come and go. You, on your side, are a mess, as you try to keep both of them close to you, feeling Aemond’s hand caressing your breast. Your pussy can’t take longer, and your hips grind against both of their faces, as you roll your eyes back and lean your head back in the pillows, as you feel your orgasm so close.
“Fuck, babies, so good for mummy, fuck…” you mean it, moaning loudly as you feel them whimper.
“Wanna make you cum so hard, mummy…” Aegon’s raspy voice is a bit clearer, as you clench on his hair.
“Hmmmm” Aemond hums, not separating one bit from your cunt.
As you start cumming, both of them press their mouth against your pussy, wanting to taste your cum as they try to be the one to get more. You are cumming hard, and their greedy tongues only fuel your orgasm even more.
Feeling your pussy quivering and pulsing around their tongues it's probably one of their favourite things, along with the rest of you. The feeling of your creamy juices made them greedy, and they share it all
Their faces are shiny with your arousal, and even when you retreat, they lick their lips as if wanting more. You can’t exactly see in the faces of your brother’s what they are thinking, but you feel tired to think about anything but the great orgasm you just had.
You are not exactly sure who started the kiss, but it's messy and sloppy, as you see their tongues sharing the last tastes of your cum, as their hands clenched to the other to keep him close, and keep on the passionate kiss.
It’s Aemond who groans, Aegon pressing his body to his, almost humping his cock to any part of your husband’s skin, who holds him close, one hand on his jaw and the other moving down to the eldest hips.
You move a bit, sitting better on the bed, yet your back still leans on the pillows, body relaxed as you accommodate to watch them devour each other as one does sit to watch men fighting in a tourney. But both of them were involved in different practices, which was a show for you to see and most importantly- enjoy.
You can see their tongues pressing together, their heads moving to not break the sloppy kiss, messy and passionate. They surely are doing this out of passion and lust, rather than rational thought, but you are not complaining.
Aegon’s hand comes to caress the firm abdomen of Aemond, like you enjoy doing. Your husband is a creature of many sides, and he can be as submissive as he can be dominant. He moves the hand on Aegon’s hip to grip his short hair, and keeps him in place to keep on kissing him.
“Aem… mummy” Aegon’s little whines come in a low tone, and a bit slurred, as Aemond does not give his mouth a break.
It takes you a while to notice that Aegon is using his hand to stroke Aemond’s cock, using the side of his thigh to hump and grind his own cock. He was needy, but he was too much of a needy baby to fight for dominance. Aegon relished on being submissive, either with you, or Aemond.
Aemond breaks their kiss, his head falling back to pant, groaning slightly as Aegon uses his hand on his cock. You know Aegon is the most lustful creature since he discovered pleasure, and he was always good with his hands.
“Mummy…” Aegon whines, wanting you to help him with his cock, and you move on your knees closer to where they were having this exchange of pleasure, because both of them wanted to cum very badly.
Your hands on Aegon’s cock make him go weak, whimpering as he leans closer to Aemond, moving his lips down on his body, his abdomen and the tip of his cock.
“Good boys, hm? You both are such good boys for mummy, pleasuring yourselves…” You say, that sweet tone of yours makes Aemond’s arousal explode.
“Fuck-” Aemond mutters, groaning and whimpering as he cums one of his hands moving to grip your shoulder, and as your hands stroke the eldest’s cock, your hand over stimulating movements on his cockhead, as if trying to replicate his tongue movements on Aemond’s tip.
Aegon is greedy, and he whimpers, still pleasuring Aemond, his hips bucking on your hand, as his own orgasm hits hard. Aemond is the one holding him, as your baby’s orgasm hits him hard, trying not to fall on the bed, panting loudly and whimpering.
He makes a little sound when you kiss him, wanting to taste Aemond’s cum on his tongue. It was delightful, and you feel his body melting on your touch. You feel how your other brother moves to caress the back of your head, nuzzling your shoulder and kissing it tenderly.
You could get used to this new dynamic, surely.

content warnings stepcest, noncon, oral sex, munch!jake, somnophilia, petnames (princess, baby), sex dreams, slightly rushed and abrupt ending
don’t like it? don’t read it!
notes this drabble was originally posted to istjisung. i am istjisung. if you see my drabbles posted on any account other than istjisung or karmicmortal, or the ao3 accounts of the same name, that is not me.
you’re not sure when the dreams started, but oftentimes lately, you find yourself having sex dreams. the kind of sex dreams that, weirdly, are all surrounding jake. jake, your stepbrother. the kind, gentle, energetic, wholesome jake. the one who always treats you like royalty. calls you princess or baby. would never step out of line and do something as dirty as this, with you of all people. you feel disgusting and perverted and disgustingly perverted for even allowing your subconscious to go that far.
but something about these dreams feel too real, too…much to be just a product of your imagination.
you feel like if you focus hard enough, you can smell jake, the scent of his shampoo and cologne flooding your nose, feel his touch. more often than not, you wake up with panties so sticky and wet that you couldn’t believe it was just from leaking while you dreamt about your stepbrother. perhaps you had touched yourself in your sleep, or angled your hips a certain way in which you could grind them and soak your panties. somehow, though, you have a gut feeling that that’s not the case.
the dreams never went much further than some touching, a bit of fingering, or oral at the furthest. the image was fuzzy, but it felt real. again, too real to just be a figment of your imagination. you’d never confirmed your suspicions, though, until now.
you’re having one of those dreams again. this time, you were laying on your back, the blankets thrown off of your body and the cool air of the night was chilling your body. but you felt hot. your legs were spread, knees bent to angle your hips, and he was buried between your plush thighs. his soft hair tickled your skin as he dives deep into your pussy, tongue licking over the slit, collecting your juices before he closes his lips around your clit and suckles. you swore you could feel the shock waves of pleasure as he alternated between flattening his tongue against your whole pussy, and tightening the muscle to a point, flicking it over your clit or fucking it into your tight and wet hole.
rocking your hips, you feel the tip of his nose bumping against your hard and sensitive bud, sending a jolt of electricity through your body, causing you to begin to stir awake. you were sure once you wake up, the pleasure would go away, but the more you regain you consciousness, albeit fuzzy, the more you feel it. you can hear the wet noises of the slurping, saliva mixing with your messy arousal, and they keep getting louder.
you open your eyes one at a time, staring up at your ceiling. sleep still blurred your eyes, so you tried blinking it away. when you finally feel that you can see well enough, you start to look around the room. nothing seemed out of the ordinary, except for the fact that your door was cracked open when you thought you’d closed it before going to sleep. maybe you didn’t latch it, so the draft throughout the house pushed it open. but then you looked down.
and there he was. jake, your stepbrother, between your legs.
you can see him clearly through the small stream of light from the hallway light seeping through the cracks in your door. jake is laying on his stomach between your legs. his large hands have your thighs pushed apart, knees bent so he can have full access to your cunt. it feels like ten minutes have passed as you take in the sight before you realize that this shouldn’t be happening. this is wrong.
with a gasp, you try reaching heavy, tired hands down to push him away from your center. unfortunately, his lips were wrapped around your clit and the attempt at shoving him away only made him suck deliciously on the delicate bundle of nerves.
“jake,” you whispered, voice hoarse with sleep. “stop…you can’t do this. it’s wrong…”
jake looks up at you, his eyes dark and unreadable. he smirked as he pulled away. he breathes out a laugh. “you’re dreaming. go back to sleep, baby. jakey will take such good care of you.”
