Savage sober from Sith vibes would definitely give Wrecker style hugs and no one can change my mind! He was so protective and caring before the witches witched him! He deserves love and a yellow light saber 😁

Even though it's been proven many times that Maul trusts his brother with his life, I don't think Savage sees himself as a good enough protector. Their little brother Feral died to his very own hand, after all. After losing his arm to Kenobi, I believe Savage might doubt himself even more. What if next time he can't pull his brother from the ground? What if he isn't strong enough? What if Maul thinks he is an unworthy apprentice?

Day 6 - Theme is Compassion. I drew it in advance towards the end of June because I knew I'd have zero time to touch my art stuff in July.

Compassion isn’t just for the sentient, it’s for the non-sentient too! Plo would treat a pot of flower as well as any sentient around him.

Getting inexplicably hungry and aggitated and channelling that into drawing someone even more hungry and more aggitated

Time to exercise your xeno muscles, and give alien races something that annoys them as much as menstruation does; it can be on a weekly or monthly or yearly cycle, so long as it's understandable that it had a biological function in the original context, and it's unpleasant. (Maybe horns shed and then re-grow, and the process is deeply itchy? Or bodies go through a seasonal metabolic-depression cycle, as an adaptation to specific annual periods of food uncertainty on their home planet?)

I just realized, I don't think we have a sentient alien species in Star Wars with Antlers? That should be rectified and they should grow in covered in velvet and go through a rut and have to rub the velvet off etc etc and seasonally shed antlers.

Also interesting would be having a species that specializes in deep space travel because they are biologically adapted to long migrations, like Bar-tailed Godwits that fly non-stop from Alaska to Australia (over 8,000 miles). I know some bird species that have enormous migrations like that can actually lose 50% of their intestinal mass over the course of the migration. Wouldn't that be wild if there was a sentient species capable of such a thing?

But anyways, to talk about an interesting thing I've noticed: differences between horn growth patterns in Iridonian vs. Dathomirian Zabrak. Male Iridonian Zabrak have rounded horns, which is the natural growth pattern as keratin grows from the base and older layers are pushed outwards. This is the wear pattern you would expect.

Dathomirian Zabrak males have pointed/sharpened horns, implying that they rub their heads across weathering surfaces like trees or rocks in order to refine the shape. The wear is even more pronounced on the outside surface of the horns, as opposed to the inner surface, supporting the idea that they are rubbing their whole heads against objects rather than say, picking up a stone and scraping that on their horns.

What compels them to do this, as opposed to the Iridonian Zabrak? Obvious answers for any kind of ornamentation are sexual selection. They could be ornamental or for use in combat. Perhaps Iridonian Zabrak do not engage in direct competition over mates in such a way and horns are purely ornamental in that subspecies. Or could it be that our Iridonian Zabrak examples are both Jedi, therefore not interested in sexual pursuits, but other Iridonian Zabrak are, and do sharpen their horns?

Just some thoughts.
