that whole song can summarize peter and tony's relationship tbh,,, quite literally every time tony thinks they've got it and he understands peter well, he blinks and peter's getting older and more stuff is happening (he wouldn't trade it for the world)

and bc i'm annoying it would obviously evolve into a winterhawk fic somehow, but just like... sprinkled across different interviews. just imagine them being paired up for actors on actors and it's SO obvious that clint hasn't seen bucky's recent movie and bucky isn't offended but he finds it way too funny and then just starts getting everything wrong about clint & his movies on purpose to fuck with him, and everyone in the comments (bc obviously i would be writing out youtube comment sections) is arguing about whether they have chemistry or not (bucky & steve are besties and a part of the internet has been shipping them for years, so these people obv are winterhawk antis). and then (after a bunch of random interviews with some of the characters who already knew each other & worked on a movie together) all the avengers get casted in a movie together and THEN the press tour madness starts and they get to do all these fun group interviews & shit. tony & steve start hooking up and the internet somehow finds out so the road's clear for all the winterhawk girlies😼 idk a lot of flirting in interviews, a lot of side remarks from the rest of the cast, and bc i'm VERY annoying and it's all i need in life, it all would end with the clint & bucky puppy interview (they're already dating at that point and they kinda confirm it in that interview) and one of the puppies is lucky & clint obviously tries (& succeeds) to adopt him :3

It isn’t that he dislikes him. It’s more that he’s a brand of indifferent that curdles with disdain on the rare occasion that Bucky catches him on the TV: Stark is glib and crass in a way his father never was, and he wears suits like he’d slipped out of the womb clad in Armani.

So it’s a surprise when Bucky moves into the Tower and finds that Steve actually gets along with the guy.

The flickering light from the television shifts as the commercials fade back into programming. “Footage from today’s Avengers fight in Phoenix shows an unexpected surprise,” says the newscaster, and you almost drop the pint of ice cream in your scramble to grab the remote. Seeing the battle from the public’s point of view is the last thing you want right now. “The Avengers were called out for an attack on Phoenix’s Heard Museum, where news crews captured some rather interesting footage,” continues the second newscaster. Your finger pauses on the power button as you stare in surprise at the screen. Sam and Natasha had talked to the press gang in Phoenix. But you’re clearly visible in the background, leaning against Bucky as you board the Quinjet. Especially when the video pauses, and the image of you is enlarged. There’d been a lot of blood on your uniform, and you don’t quite remember the hysterics, except that you hadn’t calmed down until Bucky had taken off your jacket and given you his. The problem? You only wear a t-shirt under your jacket. It doesn’t leave a lot to the imagination. Including baby bumps. “Oh, shit,” you breathe, and turn up the volume.
