Some cute Hypmic headcanons I thought of at 3 A.M

(Spoilers ahead for some characters!!!)

Ichiro

Used to kiss his younger bros goodnight when they were little kids. Now he does it now and then when he thinks they're asleep (Sabs caught him in the act, though).

King of Bisexuality.

Jiro

Had a small crush on a tomboy he met at the orphanage. They used to play football together. One day, she got adopted, and he never saw her again.

Saburo

Has a little music box given to him by his mother when he was a baby. It's the only clear memory he has of her, so he holds it dear. It's also the source of his fondness for classical music. Nobody knows where he hides it, though.

Samatoki

Used to do Nemu's hair after their mother passed. As a result of this, he's very good at styling hair.

Also used to sing to his sister, mostly to calm her down during his father's violent outbursts. He sometimes hums to himself while thinking of her.

Jyuto

Had a gay awakening when he was a teenager. An upperclassman approached him so cunningly and lifted his chin with his hand while questioning him about something, similar to how Jyuto questions guys now. He still thinks about that boy from time to time.

Rio

Went to the U.S. when he was 3 years old and stayed there with his father's family for three years. His father is Irish-American.

Ramuda

He's intersex, as are most of the clones created after him. Some of them, however, appeared to be fully male.

Likes collecting fashion dolls from time to time, and has four custom ones: one of each Fling Posse member and another of the former owner of Empty Candy, Hanabi Maijou.

Has convinced his teammates to cuddle with him in bed.

Gentaro

Is on the Autism spectrum while his twin brother is not.

Is interested in FlingPoly fanfiction.

Ramuda gave him a boudoir doll as a present once.

Dice

Got a nosebleed after seeing Ramuda in a peculiarly cute outfit. The image stayed in his head for quite a long time. (Inspired by what Dice's new stage actor said in the cross talk, after seeing Ramuda's stage actor in costume for the first time)

He sometimes purrs unvoluntarily. Gentaro and Ramuda tease him for it.

Jakurai

Has sung Yotsutsuji to sleep on some occasions. He also did that to Hifumi and Doppo one night.

He was very popular with the girls back in the day, and word got out that he had a huge crush on someone. Hitoya even teased him for it. Little did he know that Jakurai's crush was Hitoya himself.

Hifumi

Was very effeminate growing up. He especially liked to play with his sister's necklaces and other jewelry.

Doppo

Cried when Jakurai sang them to sleep that one night.

He stims by drawing circles on the floor with his finger, something he has done since pre-school when he was alone. When he's angry or frustrated, he does it with his middle finger.

Sasara

Had a funny, contagious laugh when he was a baby or so his mother would say. Everyone who heard him in passing would smile or laugh as well. Maybe he was a comedian from the very start, after all.

Rosho

Learned to talk before he learned to walk and could say very complicated words and phrases for a toddler.

Rei

He can whine his hips pretty well.

Ichiro is the one who resembles him the most in his youth.

Sometimes, he sees himself and his wife/baby mama in Rosho and Sasara. He would never admit that to them, though.

Kuko

Can dabke and taught his teammates and also Ichiro how to dabke.

In the rare times when he feels like crying, he either meditates alone or next to someone he absolutely trusts, which, as of right now, includes his father Shakku, Hitoya, and Jyushi. The latter two were confused when it happened but felt more at ease and honored after Shakku explained this to them.

Jyushi

Sometimes does nail art on Kuko's nails.

He fluctuates between masc and femme styles on the daily. Kuko once mistook him for a young woman passing by when he came to the temple to greet him.

Hitoya

Was a big fat baby who grew into a skinny child.

Is actually swole.

Will become a father of girls (and the best father anyone could have).

Otome

In her teenage years, she would use poetry as a means to vent her frustrations. She would also go on to dedicate poems to her ex-husband and, later on, her first son Dice.

Was absolutely smitten with Dice in his first years, insisting on doing the motherly affairs by herself, much to the maid's dismay.

Really wanted a daughter and was seriously thinking about giving Dice a little sister before everything went down with her marriage.

Ichijuku

She and her sister would often wear matching bows to school in her younger years.

Lets Nemu adorn her hair with ribbons and flowers during their outings. She secretly loves the look, even if it looks messy.

Nemu

Was a premature child.

Is not good at styling her hair since it's something her mother and brother used to do for her. Sometimes, she unknowingly self-soothes by stroking it.

Was interested in ballet at some point in her childhood.

Queen of Bisexuality.

Honobono

Is a pretty good dancer and gymnast. She used to do ballet and acrobatics in her youth.

Was the type of girl who would absolutely destroy her dolls while playing with them.

Is pretty quiet when sneaking in. He even startled Jakurai once.

LEONARDO

Leonardo knew you loved dressing up, wearing makeup, and doing your hair, unlike April who was more of a tomboy, and had more of a sporty aesthetic, you had more of a cottage core mixed with a vintage aesthetic, wearing dresses rather than pants as it gets hot rather quickly.

You typically bought a dress once a week, so he often tagged along for the adventure, due to him wanting to tag along so often, you went shopping in the hidden city to look for either new accessories, clothing, or makeup that is friendly towards human skin.

So, when you found the perfect dress to wear to your date that was happening tomorrow, Leonardo was not there, and it was perfect since you wanted it to be a surprise, it was white with blue flowers and birds (I actually have a dress exactly like it), it was gorgeous. So, you bought it.

Leonardo stared, as you showed off your new dress, it complimented the curves you had, and despite wearing a tank top underneath it (since you don't like showing your boobs, believe me, I don't either lmao), he kept staring during the entirety of the date.

DONATELLO

Unlike Leonardo, Donnie hated shopping, it was exhausting, and quite overstimulating sometimes with the loud noises, so he often stayed home, and you would text pictures of what you got; he did shop with you every now and then when you were shopping during the quieter hours of the day.

He also knew how much effort you took into getting ready for the day, you would spend a good two hours just getting ready, which included doing your hair, makeup, and getting dressed. It gave you time to wake up and get used to the business of the family day, you visited every Friday and often spent the night.

It was also that day when you wanted to find a dress for your one-year anniversary with Donnie that thankfully he couldn't shop with you, it was a lavender dress that didn't show too much and didn't have that elastic waistband that you detested, it was a sensory thing.

Donnie had heard from you that you felt like you were being squeezed with that waistband. You were so stoked to find the dress, Donnie would be impressed finding that lovely lavender dress. He started to stim happily when he saw you in that dress, he knew that dress needed to be worn every anniversary date, so it hung ever so happily in your closet.

MICHELANGELO

Mikey, like Leonardo, loved shopping with you, he was sort of your personal stylist, and little bodyguard when men would start flirting with you, so it's like a package deal when it came to those sorts of things.

He knew how much you took getting ready seriously, you would always get dressed and would always do your hair and makeup after eating, cooking, or baking with Mikey, these dresses were often gifts from your grandmother and mother that were passed down each generation. So thankfully you were pretty girly.

So, the day that it was pizza night, Mikey didn't come with you, you wanted the dress to be a surprise for him, because you nearly had every color in your wardrobe, except for orange, which not only frustrated you but also him.

So you were pretty excited to find the dress that was sunset orange, every other dress was colored like that bright fluorescent, highlighter orange dress, you nearly ran Donnie over, racing over to Mikey, yanking out that sunset colored dress, "Hey Mikey!! I finally found it!!" You had said, both pumping your fists in the air.

RAPHAEL

Raphael was... the rough houser, ambushing his siblings basically everywhere, but made sure not to hurt you or his younger brothers, especially when you were all dressed up, he didn't want to face that smite again when he got mud all over you and your dress, it took you and Donnie nearly four hours to get all the mud out. That's almost as long as you take getting ready for the day. You wake up at like 5 am so you're all dolled up!

He never came with you to shop for new clothes, makeup, or accessories for your hair or jewelry, so he was surprised to see them tried on when you got home. He was always nervous about breaking something, which I don't blame him, the first attempt at shopping with you, he was like a bull in a China shop.

So you shopped with April, who liked shopping with you, she got a dress every now and then but preferred wearing jeans and a T-shirt, but today was pretty special, it was your birthday date with him, so you needed to find a red dress, but every single one looked like that red homecoming dress from freshman year.

So when you found that gorgeous wine-red dress, you showed off your prize so proudly, Raph was often the quiet cheerer, but on the inside, he was stoked that you finally found a red dress that you can wear every now and then for special days.

Poppy Playtime headcanons I made! (Part 3)

Pink is for AU, blue is for canon and purple is for random things that don't make sense, but I thought it would to me.

Marie was chosen to become Mommy, but Claire didn’t want her little girl to die, so she chose to become Mommy Long Legs instead. Marie became Sissy later on.

When she was still alive, Poppy hated it whenever someone yells at her if she did “something wrong”. She would cry and hide in fear, away from the world around her until Stella would scoop her up in her arms and calm her down. So now if anyone yelled at Poppy for no reason, they would be guaranteed to be on Kissy’s hit list.

Sissy is considered Mommy's "Mini-Me".

Hugh didn't have any friends until he met Stella.

Baby likes to play in the water. It amazes him.

Bunzo is stuck in a birthday loop.

Despite her being a tiny doll, Poppy is the leader of the toys.

After Rich was demoted to the Rejected Toy Area, Avery moved to janitor staff.

Huggy causes trouble on purpose when he feels like it.

Kissy has reattachable teeth, but she hardly ever uses them. Huggy has reattachable teeth too and he uses them a lot.

For some reason, Huggy likes The Wizard of Oz, but he only likes the 1939 version cuz that's the movie he remembers due to Dorothy's shoes being red instead of silver.

Sissy loves her brother, Baby, dearly.

Marie's middle name is Ann.

The Mini Huggies are Quadruplets. They're also the only Mini Huggies that survived from Mommy's wrath.

Candy Cat waddles when she walks. She hates it.

Killy Willy is a legend that the staff tell the children at Halloween. Of course, he isn't real, but the kids think that he is.

Poppy's hair smells like a poppy flower but none of the other toys know how or why.

There is at least a Shadow Poppy.

Rich has a crush on Patty but he’s too nervous to ask her out. She would later get turned into Box She Boo (Shelly) later on in the 90’s.

Huggy has a teddy bear named "Mr. Beary".

The toys consider Poppy their "gift". Poppy doesn’t understand why they say that, however.

CatNap ate DogDay's legs to "punish" him for not believing that The Prototype can save them all.

Hoppy is a tomboy.

Neil and Theo were great friends until Theo became CatNap and Neil became DogDay.

Monica and Ceila were best friends when they were still alive before they became Bobby BearHug and CraftyCorn.

Theo was the youngest of the Smiling Critters experiments. He was also the last of the Smiling Critters experiments to be turned into a toy.

Poppy is very good at escaping places. She has tried to escape Playcare at least 48 times before she was turned into a toy.

Poppy was the last of the kids to be turned into a toy with her becoming successful than her “guardians”.

Poppy uses PJ has "transportation" when she wants to cuz she's too small compared to the other bigger bodies.

Miss Delight named her mace "Barb" cuz she was lonely.

Poppy can be quite sneaky and would try to cause trouble.

Poppy has autism and stims when she feels like it. Kissy likes that about her cuz Poppy hardly gets excited about things ever since the many incidents that happened to them.

Even though she hates to admit it, Poppy hates being alone.

The toys don't age. Instead, they age like the Sesame Street Muppets.

HEADCANONS

Comphet lesbian: She’s been made fun of by the other rich girls for being a “girl-kisser” when she was about 9 and ever since then, she starts trying to prove to them that she is not it.

This is also why she latches onto Fiyero from day one, he is “perfect”. And a prince. Precisely the type of guy she *should* be with.

She is AuDHD, but thanks to the environment she grew up in, she learned to mask it very early on. Her entire life has been a performance and masking her neurodivergency is an essential part of that. Her most natural behavior is what we see in “Popular”, whether movie or play. Glinda naturally expresses herself by being exaggerated and dramatic and she stims vocally a lot.She is actually very smart. One of the few people from the Uplands who got into Shiz (in the books, she is the first woman to do so but since the Oz from the movies is not mysoginy land, we’re going with that instead). However, she plays dumb because that makes people bend to her easier.

Obviously, she loves pink. But her other favorite color is blue! She likes pastel tones and soft colors :).

She loves flowers, but her favorites are pink roses. This is especially because there is a big rose bush in the Upland State and her mumsie calls her “my little rose”.

Not quite a headcanon, but something from the book I'm using in all my verses: Galinda is a pagan, follower of Lurline. However, I am NOT converting her to Unionism or anything else like it happens by the end of the book.

She is, perhaps, the kind of girl you'd expect to be afraid of bugs, frogs and such, but growing up in a farm, she's in fact not afraid of any of these creatures and finds them very valuable.

Also, since she grew up in a farm, she used to be a very wild child. Not quite a tomboy because she's always appreciated her little dresses and femme ways, but said cute dresses would end up ruined by the end of the day.

Also, from the book, she had a caretaker apart from her parents growing up named Ama Clutch. She cared for Galinda as well as her needs and she was supposed to go to Shiz with her, but she stepped on a nail and couldn't make it (evidenced by an Easter Egg in the movie :)c)

I don't watch anime anymore, but my favorite was always Mermaid Melody!! Other than my previously mentioned obsessions: I love cute and girly things, the color pink is my personality, but I'm also a tomboy at heart! I love listening to music and watching youtube videos, also am an avid reader of manga/comics as well as fanfiction.

My music taste at the moment is pretty much: Radiohead, Muse, MCR, System of a Down, Vocaloid/Hatsune Miku. I love alt-rock/prog. rock; vocaloid pop music; jazz; genre-mixing like rock x jazz; math rock; getting into pop-punk/punk-rock recently.

FAQ/Yapping:

A bit of my history with tumblr: I started this tumblr way back when sometime between 2012-2014, I don't remember much from that time but I do know I was very into Adventure Time and Undertale especially, lots of reblogs of art and such! My main motivator for coming back to tumblr now after over a decade? MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!! I got into them very recently, like in 2022! I won't yap about how much this band means to me now, but just know I'll be reblogging a lot of MCR content!

Am I neurodivergent? Great question! I actually don't know, I think I am but I am NOT diagnosed professionally. I've only self-diagnosed myself very recently, perhaps within the last couple of years. Take what I say here with a grain of salt, but I felt it important to get it off my chest.

This started off with me noticing small things about myself, then the list just kept getting longer and longer: my intense focus ONLY on my interests, my tendancy to info dump/over-explain things/repeat myself, my sensitivity to sounds/taste/touch, my hyperfixations that take over everything else (eating, going to the bathroom, abandoning adult responsibilities...), able but also not able to read social cues; stimming such as hair tugging/pulling, biting nails, pacing around when talking or thinking or excited/stressed, bursts of emotion after a long period of staying neutral, needing to shut down and be alone after socializing, being upset if a routine gets changes/if a routine stays the same for too long, unable to follow conversations or getting bored of them, unable to focus on what poeple are saying if in a loud room... I was also told that as a child I wouldn't smile much or ''look sad'' in photos, stand/walk on my tippy toes, and I was generally excluded/bullied in middle school for being a bit ''weird'' about anime. I also made quite a few friends on the spectrum and find myself relating to them quite a bit. The fact that I went on a such a rabbit hole of research, watching videos, taking online tests, listing things and finding out more about ADHD and Autism, is also a factor to why I suspect it for myself. I also found out that I am prone to masking, which is common in neurodivergent AFABs, but releasing said mask at home around family. I don't know which one I could be, or if any or both, but I just hope to not be dismissed or told I'm trying to get attention because I don't have the paperwork to prove myself. I guess idk if this counts but a lot of my friends have mentioned me being neurodivergent in general. Will I ever get officially diagnosed? It depends, I'm afraid of the costs and taking meds for it, in online tests I usually get borderline or a ''lower'' score so I'm afraid of being dismissed professionally as well, when I really can't afford it at the moment. Anyways sorry for the info dump LOL. All being said this could all just be anxiety symptoms as well.

I'd love to see DIFFERENT forms of 'reclaiming femininity'.

Women learning that they enjoy caring for kids after years of closing themselves off so they wouldn't be taken advantage of. Punk girls adding bright colours to their fashion, without otherwise changing it. Tomboys growing out their hair, BUT keeping all their swagger and aggresiveness.

Butches learning to cook and clean, after recognizing that living in a mess isn't the only way to avoid suffering like their mom did in her unhappy marriage. Ace enbies who start dressing more fem after they accept that their friends aren't going to pressure them about dating. Autistics who start wearing swishy skirts and fluttery sleeves because they're healthy enough to stim again. Ladies who get into sewing, and cooking, and get frighteningly competent and independent because of it. Wallflowers who slowly blossom into fashionable beings as a warning sign of their growing danger to others.

I started wearing headscarves and long skirts partly so guys couldn't see as much of me. And because they found my fashion offputting. Also because it took up more visual space, and I was tired of trying to be invisible. And the bright colours helped my mental health.

You can be feminine in SO MANY ways. Even just DRESSING feminine is incredibly varied! But we only see the same transformation, over and over.

This narrative is everywhere, and yet PAINFULLY unexplored.

Feel very weird about this genre of post because my older sister was literally a tomboy who had to work to reclaim her sense of femininity like she very much did suppress her feminine side out of shame! That is a type of girl that exists, and I know because. I literally know her. She lives downstairs from me and my parents. Plus there’s a ton of transmascs and enbies (including me) who have the experience of, once their gender starts to be validated sometimes, realizing they actually like (pink, sparkles, skirts, multiple of these or other feminine things they were uncomfortable with), they just hated feeling like they were putting themselves further into the girl box socially, and I can’t imagine there aren’t cis women who have that exact process as well.

And on the other hand YEAH FUNNY HOW IN MEDIA IT ALWAYS GOES THAT DIRECTION. Wonder what that could mean. I wouldn’t, personally, mind a moratorium on that character arc until we’ve reached a certain number of character arcs going the other direction, but… idk that girls like my sister don’t need that story to stick around, yanno? Just give us more of the other thing, please.

She's genderfluid! she/they/he depending on the day. Her presentation fluctuates as well, but generally she prefers presenting somewhat fem. Think tomboy.

Her full name is Dionysus Augustus Aquato, and she decides to keep it. She prefers to be called Dion, though she also goes by Ducky, a nickname Raz gave her when he was little (stole this hc from masky but can u blame me its adorable)

Her egg cracked after a conversation with Frazie, but the first person she actually came out to was Raz. He made her colour coded pronoun bracelets, blue with he/him, pink with she/her, and green with they/them, so she could mix and match them depending on the day.

Her first dress is one of Dontella's old ones, patched up and left in an old box of hand me downs for when Frazie or Tala grew into it. She snuck into the old box on her own and threw it on over her clothes and something clicked :)

She came out to Augustus next, and he encouraged her to come out to the rest of the family.

I also am in the boat of psychic!Dion hc, and I think Donatella was more concerned about her eldest being a psychic than being a girl. She throws a party to celebrate Dion's new sense of self. It's embarrassing, but secretly she does appreciate it.
