── .✦ DAY FOUR | [02/17] : DRACO. ♡ ₊˚⊹

prythian's princess presents... day four of the valentine special ⋆.˚ .ᐟ you know what they say. nothing is better than the original. this one is a match up between me and @writingsbychlo because we’re obsessed with this man.
[findom] — a fetish lifestyle in which a financial submissive desires to give gifts or money to a financial dominant.
[daddy kink] — a fetish in which the submissive is aroused by viewing their dominant partner, usually older, as an authoritative figure.

draco malfoy was accustomed to the finer things in life.
when it came to riches and luxury, draco spared no expense; a motto that now applied to you. after all, what belong to him belonged to you too. every single galleon in the malfoy vaults were at your disposal. draco loved spoiling you, constantly taking you out on shopping sprees and lavish holidays. in his mind, it was his job as a provider to ensure that you were well taken care of.
you deserved the world and draco was damn well wealthy enough to buy it for you.
with a smile, draco looked up from his desk as you strolled into his office toting shopping bags full of designer bags, expensive lingerie, and shoes that cost the average person's yearly salary. draco chuckled when you propped yourself up on his lap, kissing his cheek in greeting.
"did you treat yourself today, darling?"
you nodded. "do you want to see what I bought?”
as always, draco agreed and watched patiently as you modeled everything for him. he sat back in his wingback chair, silver eyes heavy lidded as his cock strained against his neatly pressed trousers while you recounted the price of each purchase. you knew how much he loved it when you spent his money.
every time draco saw one of your expenses charged to his card, he got half hard knowing that you would never want for nothing. a smile graced his handsome face when you told him that you saved the best for last. his breath hitched when you shed the dress that you were wearing, revealing an emerald lingerie set that he couldn’t wait to tear to pieces. you wouldn’t mind. draco would probably purchase the entire store as an apology.
“do you like it, daddy?”
a shiver of pleasure slithered up his spine as you crawled towards him in nothing but lingerie and heels. draco caressed your cheek as you settled between his legs, looking up at him through your lashes with pure adoration. you shivered as those steely silver eyes flashed with desire, drinking in the sight of you kneeling before him.
“you look exquisite, love,” draco murmured as he brushed his thumb against your bottom lip. “like a pretty present all wrapped up for me.”
you preened at his declaration, gently taking his hand and pressing soft kisses on each of his rings. draco smiled proudly as you paused to admire his wedding ring; the companion of which was sitting snugly on your left hand. you feigned innocence, gazing at him with a doe eyed expression before sucking softly on his fingers. draco groaned as you lathered his digits with your spit, taking his middle and pointer finger down with a soft moan. he leaned down to kiss you, but you placed a hand on his chest to stop him.
“you’re always taking care of me, dray,” you murmured softly as you unbuckled his belt. “it’s my turn to take care of you.”
you wasted no time taking off his trousers, mouth watering when his cock finally sprang free from its constraints. much like everything about him, draco’s cock was just…pretty. you stroked him in your hand, marveling at how pink and thick and delicious he was. draco watched through heavy lids as you leaned down and placed a kiss on his tip.
“how did I get so lucky?” he said in awe.
“I should be the one asking you that,” you responded as you licked up his precum. “consider this as a thank you for everything that you do for me. you take care of me, you provide for me, you never let me lift a single finger and I adore you for it. thank you, daddy.”
draco threw his head back as you wrapped your lips around his cock, gripping the base of his shaft so you could take all of him. you pumped him with your hands as you bobbed your head up and down his length, gaging every time he hit the back of your throat. you smiled and admired the view. getting on your knees for draco had always been your favorite way of showing how much you appreciated everything he did for you.
there was something so beautiful about draco when he was like this, his platinum hair disheveled and sex-tousled, falling over his stormy eyes while his lips parted in pleasure. his fingers threaded through your hair, jaw clenching while he bucked into your mouth. he looked like a perfectly crafted sculpture with his sharp cheekbones and regal nose, veins protruding from his forearms where the sleeves of his ridiculously expensive shirt were pulled up to the elbows, strong thighs flexing underneath your touch as he caged you in.
“this pretty throat was made to be fucked,” said draco as he watched your lipstick form a ring on the base of his cock. you were sure that your makeup was a mess by now, but you didn’t care. all that mattered was the man before you. “you’re a fucking dream, love.”
with a smile you cupped his balls with your free hand, giving attention to them both as you sucked softly. draco shivered in response, chuckling to himself as you left lipstick marks all over him. curses flowed freely from his mouth as you took him down your throat again, sucking your cheeks in to suction him in while you pumped him with a steady rhythm.
“that’s it, darling,” draco moaned as tears streamed down your cheeks, saliva pooling from your mouth while you continued sucking him off. “keep sucking on my cock just like that. god, you’re perfect.”
you hummed at the praise, the vibrations of it echoing in your throat and providing a pleasurable sensation to draco. you could tell he was close by the breathy cadence of his moans, those silver eyes rolling back as the tension built inside of him. when his abs tensed underneath your fingertips, you quickened the pace to bring him to the finish line.
“fuck, i’m coming,” draco declared through ragged breaths.
as his hips rutted, you felt his hot cum shoot down your throat, filling your mouth with his familiar salty taste. you swallowed every drop, the bobbing of your head slowing down to capture all of his cum. draco sighed in satisfaction as you released him with a pop, a fond expression permanently etched on his handsome face as he wiped the corner of your mouth.
“such a good girl for daddy,” draco praised. “I think that deserves another reward. is there anything that you want, love? a car? a yacht? a jet? name it and it’s yours.”
you smiled up at him, pretty and doe eyed. “well, I did see this diamond necklace in the vaults…”
“consider it yours, darling.” draco said as he kissed you softly. “we’ll go to gringotts and fetch it right away.” silver eyes flashed with lust as his silky voice caressed you like sin. “then, i’m taking you back here and fucking you with only that diamond necklace on.”

pairing: draco malfoy x fem!reader
summary: draco and you always come back to each other, sneaking around in secret, unable to let go, even though it’s getting harder to hide and maybe you're not willing to keep the secret any longer
warnings: slight angst but ends in fluff, height difference mentioned
your back was leaning against the castle's wall, arms crossed, you quirked a brow at the boy across from you. he was spotting a similiar expression, his arms crossed like you and face in a deep frown, unmoving as you nodded for him to talk.
"i'm not gonna apologize first" you shrugged, deciding to have it like this if he wanted to be difficult.
"well, me neither" he spat, voice venomous as he looked at you unimpressed, your threat not having the least bit of effect on him. "i wouldn't even know what for"
"you were the one that came back, draco" you reminded. "we agreed that whoever came back first had to apologize"
"well, i'm not doing that"
"then i'm not kissing you" you shrugged, turning your body as if to leave, before his hand grabbed your shoulder, turning you back around in a swift motion.
before you could protest or say anything else about his sudden action, his lips were on yours, pulling you in through the feeling that evaporated in your body.
you moaned into his mouth, not even caring that he didn't apologize, as he pressed you against the wall.
draco and you came from completely different worlds. he was a proud slytherin, someone that valued social standing and reputation above everything else.
you were a gryffindor, hanging along the golden trio most of the time, but basically being friends with everyone, no matter who they were or from which family they came. you didn't mind as long as you liked them.
draco and you had hated each other from the first encounter on. arrogant as he was, he had introduced himself to harry, muttering something about the wrong kind of people (eyeing ron and you) he had chosen to spend his time with.
you rivalry reached it's peak during third year when hermione had hit him and you had caught him days later as he was trying to throw something into her cauldron during potions class. you had slapped his hand back, resulting in him breathing in whatever he had held in there and spending a week in the infirmary, throwing up hours on end.
you gained two weeks of detention from snape, but quickly decided it was worth it, considering you had saved your friend from an even worse fate.
but the real change of your relationship had begun during fourth year. you had noticed that he grew into his looks and you couldn't believe it, but his cockiness actually attracted you.
draco continued making no secret of disliking you and your friends, but you noticed his eyes linger on you longer than they had before.
it had been a week of constant fighting, hormones high and upcoming exams stressing the both of you, where one thing had led to another and you found yourselves in shared detention with professor mcgonagall who punished you to sort through and clean her classroom.
"this is all your fault" draco muttered, cloth in hand as he rubbed it along the table, that picked the water up quickly.
"sure" you nodded with a role of your eyes. the row of goblets in front of you, used for the first year classes, turning out to be a particular hard thing to clean. "as if you didn't start the fight"
"i merely concluded obvious information"
"pff" you made, sending him a glare across the room. "that's not what i would call it"
"let's hear it then, genius"
"i'd call it an uneven distribution of arrogance and stupidity" you smiled smugly as you set down another goblet in front of you.
"you take that back!" draco let go off the cloth in his hand and dashed across the room, pushing his hands to his hips and looking down on you as if to try and dare you to say more.
"no" you shook your head, rising up from your chair so you were on an even level with him.
"one last chance, l/n"
"or what? you will send daddy to straigthen me out?" you puffed air out between your lips, not even caring about his answer. "you've been using the same empty threats for years, malfoy, it's honestly gotten boring at this point."
his eyes widened, switching to collect the glimmer of your lips as a memory and before he could properly think of what he was doing, he had closed the space between you, kissing you softly.
it had taken exactly ten seconds for both of you to realize what had happened, quickly breaking apart.
"you just kissed me!" you muttered stunned, pointing an accusing finger in his direction.
"you kissed me" he shook his head, just as shocked as you, as he tried to remember what had happened exactly.
"no" you corrected firmly. "i'm not taking the blame for this mess. this is solely on you"
"you kissed back though" he concluded, with a final nod. "don't ever do that again"
"well, okay?" you shrugged "i won't as long as you don't ever kiss me again"
the tension between you was palpable, as you kept holding eye contact, no one of you moving as both of you tried to find out what the kiss would mean for your relationship, or more so lack of, moving forward.
it had been a sudden decision, maybe because you had spent all your years at school trying to one up draco malfoy, but you didn't think twice, before you pushed your mouth against his once more.
this time the kiss lasted longer and both of you had to catch your breath.
"i thought i told you to never do that again"
you nodded, before you smirked, "you said i should never kiss you back"
"yeah" he nodded, admitting that you hadn't done anything he had forbidden. "and you said i should never kiss you again"
"never is such a harsh word" you shrugged and just half a second later you were kissing once more, your hands gliding into his neck as you pressed him closer.
what began that day in the classroom accompanied you through the school years that followed. you and draco would put on a facade in front of your friends and pretend like you still couldn't stand each other, which was, to be honest, not even far from the truth considering he still constantly annoyed you. all while you would meet in secret, sneaking around the castle and hooking up with each other behind everyone's back.
apart from sleeping with each other not much changed between you. you never declared what you did to be a relationship, although both of you never met other people.
draco was the one constant through your teenage years. sometimes you would go longer without the other, but you would always come back, like a drug you couldn't stop taking even if it had the potential to destroy you in the end.
draco ended the kiss, pressing his forehead against your own. "sorry" he muttered and you furrowed your brows in surprise.
he had never apologised before, even if that was your rule. he would always suck up for a while, until you finally accepted that he was somewhat sorry, without actually saying it.
"hmm" you hummed, pressing one more kiss against his mouth, before you broke away and grabbed your bag off the floor. "we've got herbology"
draco nodded and turned around, picking up his own bag. "i'll go around the courtyard, you'll go now"
"sure" he softly grabbed your neck with his hand, bringing you close again and kissing you, more passionately than the moment allowed. you were way too flustered when he let go off you, but he just nodded for you to go. so you did.
you kept thinking about him for the rest of the day. through the whole herbology class, most of potions class and even charms, which was you favorite subject.
it hadn't been yesterday when you realized that you maybe didn't still find him as annoying as you did back when you were children. that you had maybe even grown fond of him a little, or whatever it was that you had.
and there was a stupid part of you that longed for more. for more of whatever it was.
what you had enjoyed at first, was now the part you hated most about your little arrangement. sneaking around, lying to your friends and always keeping something from them, while they viewed you as family, as someone they knew everything about.
you just wanted them to know and maybe you also wanted to know if he would stay. stay at the possibility of people finding out about you.
all that went through your head until the next day. and realistically you knew he wasn't what you wanted him to be. you knew draco well enough. he would never agree to go public, much less to even be in a relationship with you.
so it was pretty clear what you had to do.
you knew that it was the right decision in the long run. for both of you.
you met in the same hallway. you were leaning against the wall when he arrived, a distant smile on his face, that only really broke out when his eyes fell on you.
"hey" he muttered. you let him kiss you, before he stepped back, leaning across from you.
"hi" you said, testing the waters. he furrowed his brows and crossed his arms.
"what is it?" he asked unimpressed. he was used to you berating him for something he had said or done the day before. most often it was something regarding your friends and even though he never admitted it, you noticed his behaviour change, when you had been angry about something.
"nothing" you averted your eyes. you could hear him step forward, on edge, not used to the sadness in your voice.
times you had been apart came normally right after you had fought with each other. always screaming loudly, having found something to be annoyed about, before you decided not to see each other anymore, until one of you eventually came back.
"tell me" draco urged, the calmness in his voice long gone. "did something happen?" normally you would have made fun of him for his unusual care, but now you even felt sorry about it.
"i don't think we should continue to see each other" you shrugged, acting as if you didn't even care.
draco laughed, or rather puffed out air through his nose, before he shook his head. "i told you i was sorry"
"it's not about that"
"then what?" he stepped even closer. "something with you friends? i didn't even really see them yesterday"
"that's not it, draco"
there were a few seconds of silence, before he sighed loudly. "is it a guy?"
"no"
"okay, so you're just doing this? for what?" he threw his arms up, like he couldn't understand anything anymore. "you'll come back anyway"
you didn't answer anything, staring at him blankly, not having the strength to even say it out loud. without you wanting him to, he caught the uncertainty in your eyes.
"..you'll come back" he repeated, voice low. "right?"
"draco" you sighed, not knowing what to tell him.
"no, don't be like that" he shook his head and you saw that he was trying hard not to show you how much he cared. "don't act like you have to console me, don't act like you're breaking up with me"
"i'm not" you nodded. "but i'm not coming back either"
he pushed his hands into the pockets of his trousers, not even looking at you when you picked up your bag. you tried to catch his eyes, but it was to no avail. so you just walked away, not even knowing if you felt relieved or sad at the predicament that he would never be coming close to you again.
you walked through the halls of the castle and opened the door to the courtyard. the weather had turned rainy, thick clouds hanging over the towers of the castle, hiding them in the white air. the rain hit the ground mercilessly and you realized too late that it had been a stupid idea to walk across.
"you can't just do that" the voice behind you was so sudden and loud that your bag almost hit the wet ground beneath you.
draco caught up with you quickly, not caring about the rain one bit.
"what?" you asked, continuing your quick walk through the yard. but admittedly it was to no use, considering that you were already wet to the bones.
draco grabbed your shoulder, making you halt in your step and turn to look at him. "you can't just decide that" he said "it's not your decision to make"
"it's not yours either"
"why are you like that?" he ignored your previous answer. "i thought you liked this"
"i did" you nodded, seeing no reason to lie. "until i didn't"
"what does that even mean?" draco pushed his wet hair back annoyed. he wasn't able to understand you and scarily enough, that was the first time in years he failed to read what was going on with you.
"that means that we have to stop seeing each other"
"but why?"
you ignored him, moving your arm so he lost his grip on you, walking further through the wet garden. draco followed you.
"why?" he repeated, "what do you want me to do?"
"nothing, draco, it's fine"
"if this is some psychological trick, i swear to god"
"it's not, draco" your voice became louder, trying to drain out the rain that muffled it. "just forget about me"
"what if i can't?" he had stopped moving, staring at you blankly when you turned around. you had never seen him like this. so vulnerable, so honest.
"it didn't even matter" you simply said, "it was nice for a while, but it's over now"
"so you just decided that?"
"yes"
"but it wasn't just nice" he came closer, his face painfully twisted, as if to try and see your reaction to it. to get something from you. to see if it really didn't matter. "it was different. it wasn't just something"
"then what was it?" you pushed him to say more, to hear what you needed to for so long. "tell me why it was different? i thought you hated me"
"i did everything but that" he muttered and you had a hard time understanding him.
"why did you never say that before?" you asked, stray tears mixing with the rain on your face. "why are you so desperately trying to convince me of something you would've denied if i had asked you before? why didn't it matter before? why didn't you say something sooner?" your voice evolved into a scream, begging him to answer.
"why do you think i always came back?" he matched the loudness of your voice, anger blending with desperation as his blue eyes crashed into yours.
"why do you think i did?"
"i thought you knew" he shook his head, not understanding how it had come so far he had to explain it to you. "i thought i made it clear"
"thought you made what clear?" you asked, your voice louder than his, as he had grown more quiet. "that you didn't hate me? tolerated me even? that you—“
"that i fucking love you" his scream made you shut up immediately, eyes wide as you stared at him. "and maybe i should've actually said that or maybe i'm not what you want anymore—"
"what did you think would happen? did you think i would just accept it? not knowing how you really feel?"
"no" he shook his head "but i had hoped you would stay until i finally gathered up the courage to say it"
"how long?"
he sighed, looking annoyingly sweet as raindrops fell down from his hair and onto his cheeks. he looked like he was crying in an artful way. beautiful even, you thought, as you kept your eyes on his face like your life depended on it.
"mcgonagalls detention in fourth year"
"you couldn't have possibly loved me back then"
"maybe i didn't" he shrugged "but it was the first time i felt like this, when you kissed me"
"you kissed me" you corrected, but unable to stop the smile from breaking out.
"well, what do you say?"
"you want to hear it back?" you asked.
"preferably yes, but for now a sorry would do"
"for now, a hot shower would do" you rolled your eyes. "alone"
"and after that?" his voice lost a bit of it's cockiness, returning back to the insecurity it had held a few minutes before, "what then?"
you pressed your lips against his and he took the kiss with surprise, before he reciprocated it.
you pulled back, looking up at him, drenched from head to toe, but absolutely beautiful in his eyes.
"i'll come back"

QUIDDITCH COLLISIONS

draco malfoy x fem!slytherin!reader || WC: 4.9K
SUMMARY: Unlike your famous boyfriend, Draco Malfoy, your personality was a refreshing change from the typical Slytherin arrogance. You often challenge Draco's aggressive behavior, amusing some and annoying others. But when Draco gets seriously injured in a brutal Quidditch match, a chilling protectiveness surfaced. Anyone who dared to cross him or speak ill of him faced the real reason you were sorted into Slytherin. The ambition and ruthlessness of the house now burned within you, fueled by the fear of losing him.
WARNINGS: established relationship, soft!draco, steamy kissing, cursing, typical Harry Potter themes, Cedric Diggory is alive and well, quidditch injuries, hurt-comfort themes
A/N: Happy Valentine's Day!! My first Draco fic is dedicated to all my fellow single people spending Valentine's day alone!! I'm such a sucker for soft Draco! Hope you all enjoy! Beautiful dividers by @bernardsbendystraws <3

The icy wind bit at your face as you pulled your scarf tighter around your neck, the frost clinging to your eyelashes. Yet, you couldn't help but grin as you marched into the Great Hall. You knew Daphne was probably already teasing you about it, but you didn't care. You were wearing Draco's Quidditch jumper, and it smelled faintly of wood, citrus, and his signature cologne that you loved dearly.
As you neared the Slytherin table, a sea of faces washed over you – stony expressions, bored glances, and the occasional whispered conversation. Then, you spotted him. Draco Malfoy, a beacon of platinum hair and shockingly vibrant emerald green jumper, stood out amongst the crowd. He seemed to be engaged in a heated discussion with Theo and Blaise, his brow furrowed in concentration, a grim set to his jaw.
The usual arrogance seemed to be replaced by a genuine intensity, making him appear even more captivating than usual. Enzo spotted you first. Letting out a dramatic sigh of relief that could be heard across the Great Hall, he pushed himself away from the table and speed-walked towards you. His usually carefree demeanor was replaced by a look of genuine distress.
Before you could even greet him with a smile, he had reached you, his hand firmly grasping your wrist. "Come on," He muttered, practically dragging you towards the end of the table. “Well good morning to you too, Enzo.” You retorted sarcastically matching his pace. You saw him look anxiously between you and your boyfriend, who, completely oblivious to your arrival, continued his animated conversation with Theo and Blaise, his voice rising in frustration.
"Please, for the love of Merlin, make him stop." He huffed motioning over to his cousin. "What's going on?" You questioned, brows furrowing in confusion. Enzo simply shrugged, a helpless expression gracing his features. "Ask him yourself." He muttered, sinking back into his chair as if to avoid the impending storm. "Draco," You called out softly, your voice a gentle murmur in the otherwise boisterous Great Hall. He didn't even flinch.
"Love," You tried again, adding a saccharine sweetness to your voice that would have made even Honeydukes' most potent sweets blush. Finally, as if snapping out of a trance, his grey eyes met yours. They were stormy, a mixture of anger, frustration, and something else… something you couldn't quite place. Then, as if a switch had been flipped, the storm subsided. His entire tense demeanor immediately softened, the lines of anger disappearing from his face.
"Darling," He breathed out, his voice a low rumble, reaching for your manicured hand and pulling you closer, as if to convince himself you were real. He held your hand tightly, his fingers intertwining with yours, the warmth of his skin radiating through you. "Thank Salazar she's here." You heard Theo exasperate, his expression mirroring Enzo's. You ignored their commentary, solely focused on the boy in front of you. Now that you were closer, you could see the bags under his eyes, a stark contrast to his usual flawless complexion.
He looked exhausted, and that made your heart ache. "Did you get any sleep last night?" You asked him softly, reaching out to caress his cheekbone, your fingers tracing the lines of fatigue etched on his face. As if you were the only two people in the Great Hall, he nuzzled his face into your palm, a soft sigh escaping his lips. His eyes, usually so cold and calculating, now held a warmth that surprised you. They traced over your figure, lingering on his quidditch number and last name embroidered on your chest.
"You look absolutely breathtaking in my jumper," He purred, a mischievous glint returning to his eyes. The compliment would have normally made your knees buckle, but you knew him well enough to know it was a tactic to get you distracted, a playful attempt to avoid confronting the emotions that were clearly swirling beneath the surface. "Draco," You chastised, squeezing his hand, a silent plea to get him to express what was on his mind. "Is this about the match later today?" You questioned, taking a wild guess as to why his attitude was all over the place.
As if on cue, his facial expressions said everything his words didn't convey. The grimace making a reappearance, twisting his features into a mask of pure fury. His eyes, now held a dangerous glint. "Fucking Cavendish," He spat venomously, the word tasting like bile in his mouth. Now it all made sense. Bryce Cavendish, Hufflepuff seeker, and as of now Draco's sworn enemy. Which said a lot, considering Harry Potter had always been at the very top of his list.
"He was up all night." Blaise mumbled, his eyes darting nervously towards Draco. "Reviewing plays for hours," Theo added with a scoff, his voice barely a whisper. If looks could kill, Blaise Zabini and Theodore Nott would both be six-feet under with the way Draco was looking at them. His gaze, icy and lethal, sent a shiver down their spines. "Draco," You coaxed, taking a seat next to him, hoping to somehow diffuse his anger. You placed a gentle hand on his arm, his muscles tensing beneath your touch.
"We've talked about this. You can't let him get to you." He sighed, running a hand down his face in frustration, the lines of anger deepening on his forehead. "I know, darling," He admitted, his voice rough with suppressed fury. "But the bastard knows how to get inside my bloody head." Looking up at the three boys in front of you, judging by their expressions you knew Draco was already way over his head about this match in particular. "You're the best seeker in all of Hogwarts," You praised, smoothing out the crease in his perfectly pressed tie.
"He's just jealous," You added with a reassuring smile, punctuating your words with a sweet kiss to his cheek. He closed his eyes momentarily, leaning into your touch, the tension visibly draining from his shoulders. A contented sigh escaped his lips, a low rumble that vibrated against your ear. "Thank you, darling," He muttered so softly under his breath, if you hadn't been close you were sure you wouldn't have heard him. "I'm sure I'll get over it before the match." He reassured, his gaze, though still a little guarded, held a warmth that melted away the last remainder of his earlier anger.
Yet before you could even continue to ask him what was actually bothering him, he threw an arm over your shoulders and pulled you closer, his hand resting possessively on your waist. Luckily for him, Pansy arrived at the table, her voice a shrill counterpoint to the hushed murmurs of the Great Hall. "Y/N, you will not believe who I just saw…" She began, her voice a whirlwind of gossip and exaggerated pronouncements. Her arrival pulled your attention away from your boyfriend and the lingering tension that still clung to him, replaced by a forced smile and a polite inquiry into Pansy's latest conquest.
Draco, in fact, did not get over it. All throughout your shared Potions class, you'd catch him zoning off, his gaze flitting around the room. He would absentmindedly tap his foot against the stone floor, a nervous habit you hadn't noticed before. Unfortunately for him, you weren't the only one who seemed to notice his off-putting behavior. Snape, his eyes narrowed to slits like a venomous snake, watched Draco with disdain. You could only guess what was going through his mind as he calculated his best students every move.
Thankfully, you were able to turn Draco's attention back to the task at hand before Snape could intervene. You gently nudged his elbow with yours, a silent message that you were there for him. He looked up, startled, his eyes meeting yours. A flicker of gratitude passed, before he quickly returned his attention to the bubbling potion in his cauldron, trying to focus on the task at hand. You knew the last thing Draco needed was to get reprimanded before his big match. He was already battling enough inner demons without Snape adding to his inner turmoil.
After class was over, you barely had time to blink before Draco was jumping out of his seat, pressing a kiss to your cheek before rushing out of the classroom, presumably towards the Quidditch pitch. As you gathered the rest of your belongings, your eyes connected with Hermione Granger's who seemed to share your expression of concern. After all, Draco's personality was known to be strong and passionate in a classroom setting, but his competitive spirit, when ignited, could be truly terrifying.
You gave her a reassuring smile, trying to project an air of confidence you didn't entirely feel, before making way out of the classroom yourself. Holding your books tightly to your chest, you made a beeline for Draco's dormitory, the stone walls of the castle looming large around you. You needed to see him before the match, to make sure he was alright. Reaching his room, you quickly dropped off your books and grabbed yours his favorite scarf, wrapping it securely around your neck, knowing it would be bitterly cold on those stands.
As you walked towards the Quidditch pitch, the vibrant green of the field a stark contrast against the grey stone of the castle, the nauseating pit of anxiety grew in your stomach. It was like a physical manifestation of your fear, twisting and churning within you. Although Draco had played against Hufflepuff before, these matches had always been a mere formality. But ever since Bryce Cavendish had joined the Hufflepuff team, something had shifted. Draco, usually so confident and arrogant, had become strangely subdued, preoccupied with thoughts that seemed to weigh heavily on his mind.
Anytime you'd even try to bring up the subject, Draco would resort to his usual tactics to shift the conversation away from what was truly bothering him. Thankfully, Enzo was able to sneak you past Madame Hooch, her attention momentarily diverted by a particularly boisterous group of Hufflepuffs. You knew he needed a little positive reassurance before the match, if not you were certain the boys would all get their heads chewed off by the time the first bludger flew.
As you neared the entryway of the boy's changing rooms, you spotted Enzo, Blaise, and Theo leaning against the wall, their faces a mixture of anxiety and anticipation. "How's he doing?" You asked, your voice barely a whisper, your eyes searching the room for any sign of Draco. "Hasn't lost his quip and sarcasm that's for sure," Blaise replied, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "He's been giving poor Theo a hard time about his choice of socks." You let out a small laugh, feeling a wave of relief wash over you. "That’s good," You whispered, a genuine smile finally gracing your lips.
Theo, ever the observant one, noticed the shift in your demeanor. "He'll be fine, Dolcezza. He's a Malfoy. He thrives on competition." You nodded, though the lingering anxiety still clung to you. "I know," You murmured, "But… I just worry." You admitted. "We all do," He admitted, his usual nonchalance replaced by a rare display of vulnerability. "He's our friend, after all." Just as you were about to respond, the doors to the changing rooms opened and out walked the rest of the Slytherin quidditch boys, all except Draco.
"He kicked everyone out," Adrian Pucey explained, his voice subdued, "Said he needed a moment alone." That was your cue. With a surge of adrenaline, you pushed past the remaining boys, your heart pounding a frantic rhythm against your ribs. With a final deep breath, you pushed open the door to the changing room, your heart pounding in your chest. If there was one thing that never failed to make you swoon, it was Draco in his Quidditch gear. The emerald green of the Slytherin robes seemed to deepen the grey hue of his eyes, making them sparkle with an almost predatory like intensity.
His usually pale skin was flushed with a healthy color, and his normally perfectly styled hair was slightly disheveled, giving him a rugged, almost dangerous charm. He looked every inch the confident, arrogant Slytherin, but beneath the bravado, you knew there was a vulnerability, a fierce protectiveness that only you were privileged to witness. "Shouldn't you be outside along with everyone else?" You questioned watching as his body tensed momentarily upon hearing your voice. He hadn't expected you. You could see it in the way his eyes widened slightly, the way his jaw clenched. "You shouldn't be here," He muttered, a frown creasing his forehead.
"Enzo let me in," You explained, a mischievous glint in your eye. "Besides," You added, walking towards him, "Who's going to keep you motivated and wish you good luck before your match?" He grinned, the tension that had been plaguing him earlier visibly melting away, replaced by a warmth that spread across his features. He reached out, his hand brushing against your cheek, his thumb gently stroking your skin. "You," He said, his voice husky, a low rumble that sent shivers down your spine. "Always you." He leaned in, his eyes searching yours, a mixture of longing and possessiveness burning within them.
You closed your eyes, tilting your head up, meeting his lips with a fervor that mirrored his own. His kiss was demanding, passionate, a whirlwind of emotions that swept you off your feet. The world around you faded away, leaving only the intensity of his touch, the taste of mint and something faintly metallic, the scent of his cologne mixing with the earthy aroma of the changing room. Your fingers tangled in his hair, your hands tracing the contours of his face, memorizing every curve, every imperfection.
He groaned softly against your lips, pulling you closer, his body pressed against yours. You could feel the warmth radiating from him, the strength of his arms around you, a comforting anchor in the whirlwind of emotions. Time seemed to cease to exist, replaced by the intoxicating rhythm of his kisses, the intoxicating scent of him. Finally, he pulled back, his eyes searching yours, his breath coming in ragged gasps. “There’s plenty more of where that came from, after you win.” Upon hearing the implication in your words, a mischievous glint returned to his eyes.
You smiled, your heart pounding against your ribs. "Now go out there and show them what you're made of. Go kick some Hufflepuff arse!" He grinned, his eyes sparkling with a newfound confidence. "For you," He murmured, pressing a final, lingering kiss to your lips before turning and striding towards the field, his Quidditch robes swirling around him. You watched him go, your heart overflowing with pride and a fierce protectiveness of your own. Sneaking out, before Madame Hooch could scold you, you made your way towards the stands.
Your chest burned with pride among seeing fellow Slytherin’s decked out in house pride, eagerly awaiting the match to start. "Where were you?" Pansy pulled you into her side, eager to shield herself from the cold. "You were gone forever!" Astoria, who was beside you, smirked. "Oh Pans," She drawled, reaching over to poke your rosy cheek. "Just look at her." She pointed to your blushing complexion, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "I bet you ten galleons that Malfoy and her were snogging." She snickered. "Shut up!" You exclaimed, though a blush crept up your neck despite your denial. You knew Astoria was right, of course. But you weren't about to admit it.
Thankfully, the roar of the crowd as the Slytherin and Hufflepuff Quidditch teams took to the field was able to distract both girls from questioning you further. Draco, resplendent in emerald green, looked every bit the confident Seeker, a glint of determination in his eyes. You watched him from the stands, your heart pounding in your chest. He caught your gaze and gave you a small, encouraging smile, the tension that had plagued him earlier completely gone. At the sound of Madame Hooch’s whistle the match began with a flurry of activity. Bludgers whizzed through the air, narrowly missing players.
Chasers weaved and dodged, their expressions grim as they battled for possession of the Quaffle. Draco, however, remained calm and collected, his eyes scanning the field, ever vigilant for the elusive Golden Snitch. The first few minutes of the game were a fierce battle for dominance. Neither team seemed to have a clear advantage. Then, in a spectacular move, Draco, with a sudden burst of speed, intercepted a Hufflepuff pass, soaring through the air with a grace that took your breath away. The crowd erupted in cheers, their voices a thunderous roar that echoed through the stadium.
However, the joy was short-lived. Bryce Cavendish, a look of pure hatred etched on his face, veered sharply towards Draco, his broom dangerously close to colliding with the blonde's. Draco, agile and experienced, managed to avoid the collision, but the near miss seemed to have rattled him. He shook his head, trying to regain his focus, but it was clear that Cavendish had gotten to him. “You can do it, Draco!” You shouted hoping he could hear you over the crowd. Your eyes met Cavenish’s, the smirk on his lips making your fists and jaw clench. Bloody bastard.
The match continued, a tense and hard-fought battle. Draco, despite his initial setback, played with a fierce determination, his every move calculated and precise. He made several impressive catches, weaving through the Hufflepuff defense with a skill that drew gasps from the crowd. But then, disaster struck. As Draco soared through the air, his eyes fixed on the elusive Snitch, a sudden wave of dizziness washed over him. He felt disoriented, his grip on his broom loosening. You watched in horror as he tried to regain control, but it was too late.
The crowd gasped as Draco plummeted towards the ground. He landed with a sickening thud, his body crumpling against the grass. A hush fell over the stadium, broken only by your panicked cries. You felt your blood run cold. You pushed your way through the crowd, your heart pounding in your chest. As you reached Draco's side, the sight that greeted you stole the air from your lungs. He lay motionless on the ground, his face pale and drawn, a thin trickle of blood snaking from the corner of his mouth. His left arm was bent at an unnatural angle, the bone clearly visible protruding through a tear in his robes.
His eyes were closed, his usually arrogant features slack and vulnerable. Madam Hooch was already at his side, her face etched with deep concern, her wand glowing with a soft, diagnostic light. She was muttering under her breath, her brow furrowed in concentration. She looked up at you, her eyes filled with a grim understanding. “He’s sustained a number of injuries, a broken arm. He’s also… he’s hit his head quite hard.” She gestured towards a small but rapidly swelling lump on Draco’s temple, half-hidden by his pale blonde hair. “We need to get him to the infirmary immediately.”
You knelt beside Draco, your hand trembling as you reached out to touch his face. His skin was cold and clammy. “Draco?” You whispered, your voice barely audible. There was no response. Panic clawed at your throat, making it difficult to breathe. “Draco, please,” You begged, tears stinging your eyes. You pressed your fingers against his wrist, searching frantically for a pulse. It was faint, thready, almost imperceptible. Madam Hooch placed a hand on your shoulder, her grip firm but gentle. “He’s unconscious. We need to move him carefully. I’ll summon a stretcher.” She raised her wand again, this time a burst of red sparks shot into the air, signaling for assistance.
Within moments, two medi-wizards arrived, pushing their way through the throng of onlookers. They knelt beside Draco, their faces professional and detached, a stark contrast to the fear and concern etched on the faces of the students surrounding them. They quickly assessed Draco’s injuries, their movements precise and efficient. You watched as they placed him carefully onto a floating stretcher, securing him with enchanted restraints. As they lifted the stretcher, you couldn’t tear your gaze away from Draco’s still form. You followed the medi-wizards as they floated the stretcher through the crowd, your heart a lead weight in your chest.
The whispers of the onlookers followed you, hushed and anxious. You ignored them all. All you could focus on was Draco. That was until out of your peripheral you spotted the man who did this to him. Bryce Cavendish, his face flushed with an adrenaline-fueled high, was grinning triumphantly at the crowd. The cocky smile he was hiding behind his fist made your blood boil. You surged forward, rage blinding you. "You bloody bastard!" Before you could strike, Cedric Diggory, had his hands around your waist, pulling you away from Bryce. "As much as I would love to see you put him in his place, I have a feeling Malfoy needs you right now."
Cedric's words brought you back to reality. You couldn't afford to be distracted by your anger, not when Draco needed you. "Okay," You surrendered pulling yourself out of Cedric's hold. You were never one for conflict, but the way he was smirking cockily, knowing he had succeeded in hurting Draco, made your anger resurface. Before you could even think about it, you were already in front of him, your right arm pulled back, striking him across the face before he could even react. As you heard a sickening crack, when your knuckles met his nose, you felt an unexpected surge of satisfaction. You had never punched anyone in your life, but the feeling of adrenaline coursing through your veins was exhilarating.
"Consider yourself lucky it wasn't an unforgivable curse," You hissed, your voice dripping with venom, "I won't be as nice if there's ever a next time." He stared at you, his eyes wide with shock and disbelief as he clutched his now broken nose in pain. "Oi, Diggory!" He hissed, his voice a mixture of pain and indignation. "Aren't you going to do something?" Cedric, who had been watching the exchange, simply shrugged. "I didn't see anything," He replied casually, his eyes twinkling with amusement. Turing towards you, he gave you a reassuring smile, motioning towards the hospital wing. “Don’t worry, I’ll deal with him, you have my word.” You didn't need to be told twice.
You were sure your fingers were on the verge of bleeding with how much you were picking at them, the raw skin a testament to your anxiety. But that was the least of your problems considering the love of your life was laying motionless in front of you. The crisp, sterile scent of the Medical Wing filled your nostrils, a constant, unwelcome reminder of the gravity of the situation. The only thing keeping you sane was the steady rise and fall of his chest against the sheets.
You were sure the only reason as to why Madam Pomfrey had let you stay overnight was due to how distraught you looked. Your face, pale and tear-stained, was probably a picture of despair. You'd practically begged her, your voice a desperate croak, to let you stay by his side. The thought of leaving him alone, even for a moment, was unbearable. Your grip on his hand did not falter, no matter how uncomfortable the chair was on your back. The hard, unforgiving wood dug into your spine, but you didn't care.
You weren't leaving his side until those grey eyes you loved so much were staring back at you. Each shallow breath he took, each labored rise and fall of his chest, was a precious lifeline, a fragile thread connecting you to the boy who was everything to you. Time seemed to crawl, each agonizing second stretching into an eternity. "I knew I'd find you in here," Theodore Nott's voice interrupted your thoughts, but your eyes stayed glued to Draco. You barely registered his presence, your mind consumed by the fear that gnawed at your insides.
"Dolcezza," He coaxed, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. You looked up at him, your eyes red-rimmed and swollen, and managed a weak smile. "He hasn't moved all night, Theo. I'm so fucking worried." Hearing the pain in your voice, the raw, unfiltered fear that laced every word, was all it took for Theo to pull you into an embrace. "He's a stubborn bastard, he'll be alright." He held you close, his own body trembling slightly, as if mirroring your own. “While I admire the sentiment, I’d appreciate if got your hands off my girl, Nott.” Draco’s voice, raspy with sleep, cut through the hushed silence of the hospital wing.
You pulled back from Theo, your eyes widening in surprise. Draco was sitting up in bed, his face pale, bruises darkening on his temple, but his eyes sparkling with amusement nonetheless. "Draco," You breathed out, immediately separating yourself from the brunette boy and carefully climbing into the open arm of your boyfriend. Despite your attempts to be mindful of his bruises and broken arm, he pulled you closer. "I'll go tell the other's you're awake," Theo interrupted giving you and Draco a smile. "I'm glad you're okay, you twit." In response Draco merely waved him off, giving you his undivided attention.
You pulled back slightly, your eyes searching his face for any sign of lingering pain. "How do you feel?" You asked, your voice soft with concern. He shrugged, a ghost of a smile playing on his lips, "Sore," He admitted, "But otherwise, I feel surprisingly well." You nodded, feeling the tightness in your throat return as tears gathered at the corners of your eyes. "Don't ever do that to me again." You whispered, shaking your head. "Darling," He coaxed, raising his hand to wipe the tears from your eyes, his thumb gently tracing the path they had left behind. "Don't cry," He murmured, his voice filled with concern. "You know I hate it when you cry."
"You scared me, so much," You whispered, burying your face in his chest, clinging to him as if he might disappear again. He held you close, his arms wrapping around you like a protective shield, his heart beating a steady rhythm against your ear. Proof that he was okay, and alive. "I'm sorry, love," He murmured, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. You both laid there for what seemed an eternity, the silence broken only by the soft rhythmic thumping of his heart and the distant murmur of conversation from the hallway.
Draco couldn't seem to let you get you closer to him, even when you both were practically intertwined. You smiled as he pressed a kiss to both your temples, cheeks, purposely skipping your lips as he grabbed your hand and brought it to his face. "Why are your knuckles red?" He questioned, concern etched on his face. “Well,” A small smile made its way onto your face as you recalled what you did. "I might have punched the daylights out of Cavendish." You muttered nonchalantly. Draco's eyes widened in surprise. "You what?" He questioned, wondering if he had her you correctly or if it was the concussion talking.
"He used a Confundus Charm on you," You explained, shrugging your shoulders as if it were no big deal. "And I wasn't going to let it slide." Draco stared at you, a mixture of amusement and disbelief on his face. He burst out laughing, his laughter echoing through the quiet room. "You," He managed to get out between laughs, "You actually punched him." You couldn't help but laugh with him. It felt good, exhilarating even. You had never punched anyone before, but standing up for Draco, protecting him, it felt… right. You looked up to find him already looking at you with nothing but pure adoration.
"Merlin, I love you so fucking much." Before you could react and reciprocate his words, he had grasped the sides of your face before pulling you into an unexpected kiss. This kiss, unlike the one you two shared on the pitch, was different. It was raw, vulnerable. It held so much love and so much fear all at once. It was as if the world around you had faded away, leaving just the two of you in that moment. The intensity of emotions was overwhelming, a silent conversation of hearts beating in sync. Every touch, every breath, every lingering second felt like a promise, a confession, and a plea all rolled into one.
"That's my girl," He praised as you separated for air yet he remained close. Nose to nose. Chest to chest. “My brave and badass girl, I can’t believe you punched someone for little old me.” You couldn’t help but blush at his words, no matter how many times you had heard him say them before. "I love you too," You echoed giving him a chaste kiss despite his intentions to deepen it. "Consider yourself very lucky to have someone like me, Malfoy." You smirked playfully pushing his platinum locks away from his eyes. The ones that were currently looking at you as if you hung the stars. "Always do, darling." He admitted, pulling you into another kiss which stifled your giggle. Lucky indeed.

BITTERSWEET ENCOUNTER. Draco Malfoy x fem!reader !! : none. a/n: FLUFF! i've been rewatching hp movies this month and realized that I missed this boy sm so I gotta write this. (English is not my first language, I apologize if you spot any grammatical errors that I'm not aware of.) preview: "Action speaks more than words."
Draco Malfoy strode through the cobblestone streets of Diagon Alley feeling really bored. A contrast of the Alley bustling with activity as usual. "Bloody boring." He mumbles to himself as he continues to walk with his hands tucked in his pocket. His thoughts and his boredom were aggressively shaken when someone bumped into him.
"Ah! Watch where you’re-" He stopped mid sentence when he looked down at you who had collided with him. You mumbled out an apology as you were also frustrated from the run-in. "Sorry," You mumbled out as you looked up at him. "I'm in a hurry, didn’t realize you’d be in my path." You added as you took a step away from him.
"Interesting.." He thought. Something in you struck his interest, he couldn't put his finger on it but he can clearly feel it. With your response, you tried to point out that he wasn't looking at his direction as well. If you were any other person, he'd be mad, thinking that he was being disrespected. You suddenly became an exception. "Don’t go getting into any more accidents now. I might not be around to catch you next time." He replied with the same energy.
You looked at him with an "are you serious?" Stare.
"Sorry again." You sighed out as you tried to finally walk away but you felt his grip on your wrist, the grip was soft so it didn't alarm you. "You dropped this." He said as he showed you a pack of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. Your face scrunched a little in confusion, "That's not mine.. I don't remember buying that.." Your voice was filled with confusion. "Ah, well, perhaps you forgot." He replied with a humorous tone. "It's easy to lose track of things when you're caught up in the bustle of Diagon Alley." With that, he forced to place the pack in your palm. "..Alright.. Thank you.." Then, he finally lets you walk away. He didn't fret, he knows he'd see you again soon. He always finds way. The Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans were too tame for his taste but it was interesting. He was the one who bought it, he gave it to you as a silent apology for bumping into you, disguising his apology through a sweet treat.
Action should speak louder than words, as they say.

𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄
✩ eternal sunshine collection ✩ return to masterlist
𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Draco x fem!reader
𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: a secret romance falls apart, leading to heartbreak as Draco drowns in regret
𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬: 850-ish
The shadows of the Astronomy Tower stretched long across the cold stone, marking another silent night at Hogwarts. But tonight, as the wind danced through the gaps in the walls, it carried the whispers of a love that had unraveled.
You had spent hours pacing your dormitory, deciding whether to confront Draco about the secrecy of your relationship. For months, you had lived in a clandestine world, stolen moments between classes, fleeting glances across the Great Hall, and hushed conversations in the slytherin dungeon. You had given your heart to him, but the weight of your love was a burden he seemed unwilling to bear. His walls—metaphorical and literal—were impenetrable, and the exhaustion of giving yourself wholly without reciprocity had finally become too much to endure.
“I can’t do this anymore, Draco” you said when you finally found him in one of the unused classrooms after sunset. He stiffened but said nothing, his gaze locked on the floor. You pushed further. “You can’t keep hiding me, hiding us. I’ve tried to understand, but it feels like I’m giving everything and… you’re giving nothing”.
Draco’s eyes met yours then, his storm-grey eyes clouded with something between pain and guilt. “You don’t understand what’s at stake” he said, his voice trembling. “There are things I can’t tell you—things that go beyond us. I’m… trying to protect you”.
But protection felt like an excuse, like a barrier he used to shield himself from vulnerability. With tears streaming down your face, you whispered, “I love you, Draco, but loving you shouldn’t feel like losing myself”.
His silence was the answer you’d dreaded. And so, you walked away from him, your heart breaking into pieces that echoed through the corridors of Hogwarts.
━━━━━━━━━━━
Two weeks passed. While your world was far from whole, you felt like you were slowly piecing it back together. You had started smiling again, your friends noticed, and life began to return to some semblance of normalcy. But Draco? You caught glimpses of him in the halls, and each time, he looked worse than before—his face pale, his movements listless. It was as if the life had drained out of him entirely.
One evening, you found yourself at The Three Broomsticks. The warmth of the tavern was a contrast to the chill outside, and for the first time in weeks, you felt at ease. But then you saw him. Draco sat at a corner table, a half-empty glass of Firewhisky in front of him. His shoulders were slumped, and his hand trembled as he raised the glass to his lips. The sight broke you in ways you couldn’t explain.
When he noticed you, his face twisted with something you couldn’t name—was it regret? Shame? He quickly wiped his eyes and stood, almost knocking over the chair in his haste to leave. You called his name, but he didn’t turn back.
You followed him outside, weaving through the crowd of wizards and witches, but he disappeared into the night. The sight of him drowning in his sorrows, so utterly broken, lingered with you as you returned to the castle.
━━━━━━━━━━━
The Astronomy Tower was quiet as you stepped onto its familiar stones later that night. You didn’t expect to find him there, but somehow, it didn’t surprise you when you did. Draco stood near the edge, gazing at the stars with hollow eyes. He turned as you approached, and for the first time, his mask crumbled completely.
“I was wrong” he said, his voice raw. “I was wrong to push you away, to hide what we had. You were everything to me—are everything to me. And I ruined it.”
His words pierced through you, but they couldn’t undo the damage. “Draco…” you began, your voice trembling. “I loved you so deeply, but it was destroying me. I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t be myself because I was so consumed by us. And you were so consumed by… everything else”.
“I’ll change” he pleaded, stepping closer. “I’ll do anything—anything to make it right. Just tell me how”.
You shook your head, tears spilling once again. “It’s not that simple. We love each other, but love isn’t always enough”.
Draco looked at you, desperation etched into every line of his face. “Then… just one last kiss?” he said softly. “If this is really goodbye, give me that. Please”.
With every fiber of your being screaming against it, you nodded. As your lips met his for the final time, it felt like the world stood still. The kiss was bittersweet—filled with love, regret, and the weight of everything unsaid. When you pulled away, you whispered, “Goodbye, Draco”.
You turned and walked away, leaving him standing alone under the stars. His soft sobs reached your ears as you descended the tower, your own tears blurring your vision. The night felt colder than ever before.

Request Requirments
“I still don’t understand how you guys do that.” The girl said while the two flaming haired boys discussed the famous Wizard game every boy and girl wanted to try (besides her.) Putting a spoonful of food into her mouth, she looked up at the two.
The red head in front of her raised an eyebrow in question, and the replica of him did the same, making her laugh.
“Do what?” George asked.
She waved her utensil in front of her as a way to gesture to the two twins.
“You know, climb on a stick and go into the air in intention of beating a ball to other students; potentially killing them.”
The two boys laughed in unison despite her seriousness, so much so you couldn’t tell the difference between them and their laughs. They both smiled wide, the noise of happiness filling her ears as she watched them. Their heads turning to each other, eyes meeting with a mirror image as they only chuckled harder when the other person made a funny face that set them off.
“First off, love, it’s a broomstick, and we’re Beaters. That’s our job: to beat the ball to the other team?” Fred explained with a teasing smile sitting on his lips.
George chuckled. “I thought you’d know that by now. You’ve been dealing with us since First Year.”
The girl rolled her eyes in response at their teasing words despite the blush threatening to rise on her cheeks from the nickname Fred gave her.
“Whatever it’s called, I don’t know why it gets you guys all riled up. I’d rather watch than fly, thank you very much.”
George shrugged her comment off and turned to Lee Jordan who grabbed his attention, but Fred raised his eyebrow at her. Not in a confused questioning way, but in a teasing manner.
“Really? Rather watch than fly? Blimey.”
The last word was murmured, his wild head trying to comprehend the fact that she would rather stand around a bunch of sweaty teenagers and young children than to feel the wind in her hair as the simple yet powerful excitement of completion roared through her veins.
She shrugged in response, finding nothing of it. “I mean, yeah, because I’m too scared to; I could never.”
Fred made a face. “Scared? To fly?”
She nodded sheepishly. “I mean I can’t name a thing that isn’t scary about it.”
Fred scoffed, and since they were at the end of the table, he quickly got up and swiftly moved next to her, their shoulders brushing.
“Nonsense. It’s very exciting, actually.” He assured gently. He then grabbed his plate from the other side of the table, his silverware now in his hands.
He continued to eat as if her fears were simply silly, something so small she was making so big.
She hesitated before asking for conformation. “Really? But you go so….high.” She fought back a shiver when she said the word but her heart failed, the organ in her chest seeming to stagger out of fear just from the thought.
Fred nodded and turned to her. “You do go pretty high, but when you’re playing the game you don’t really think much of it; you’re distracting yourself from the height by doing so.”
She hummed softly, mind taking what he said and turning it over so she could see all the angles.
“So… if I were to go up on a broom and distract myself, then I wouldn’t be as scared as I think I would be?”
Fred shrugged, moving his fork to her plate and stealing a piece of cut up chicken that was there.
“I mean, it might not work for you, ‘cause I don’t even have a thing of heights, but it works for me despite my absent fear.”
She thought about it for a moment. I mean, she trusted the twins; maybe even trusted one more than the other. (Fred.)
So it wasn’t that that was keeping her from asking, rather it was the deep fear of the biggest, most negative solution to come out of it. What if she fell to her death and never saw any of her friends again? She’s too young to die.
She blinked, realizing she was staring into space while thinking such negative thoughts.
Her blink must of re-set her brain, causing her head to turn towards the boy.
“C-could I try for myself and see?”
Fred coughed out pumpkin juice at the sudden question, his mind so used to the comfortable silence they fell into he didn’t expect her to talk again.
“What?” He rasped, patting his chest. She chuckled, picking up her napkin and giving it to him to wipe his mouth.
She watched him do so as she repeated the question.
When she did a small smirk formed on his lips.
“Sure.”
“Yeah, no, I change my mind.”
Fred laughed in the breeze, the noise blessing her ears.
“Come on, it was your choice and you’re in Gryffindor for a reason. Hop on.”
Fred was currently standing on the ground with the broomstick in between his legs, the sand on the Pitch almost covering his shoes.
She shifted, her stomach turning at the thought of leaving the ground but she followed his order despite, legs swinging over the stick and arms wrapping tightly around Fred’s waist.
Her cheeks flushed but she didn’t take the time to recognize it, her chest occupied with a squeezing sensation of fear.
“Ready?”
His voice broke out her fear, the soft question falling from his lips so effortlessly, like it was a bird with wings and claws, using them to take her fear and fly it off into the wind, never to be seen again.
Sadly the feeling of courage only lasts for a second because as soon as she nodded softly against his robes, his leg kicked off the sand and they were no longer on the ground.
She bit back a scream but some of it slipped, causing a small squeal to escape.
Fred chuckled but she didn’t hear it over the wind, instead feeling his body shake from the laughter.
“Open your eyes!”
She didn’t want to, but the trust for him was strong so her eyelids fluttered open, the broom coming to slow yet calming pace.
Her cheek was still pressed to his back, but her eyes scanned around her and she was met with the breathtaking view of Hogwarts, the building standing as strong as ever as the wind flooded her hearing.
Her mouth came agape at the sight, her head leaving his back as she turned to look at everything possible, leaving no angle unseen.
“Hey, hold on tight back there.”
She rolled her eyes even though her arms were wrapped around his waist so tight he was struggling to breathe she bet, but she still laid her head back down on his back.
His skin was warm through the fabric, and it wasn’t the reason for the deep flush on her cheeks, traveling to her neck.
“Rather watch than fly, huh?”
She threw her Quidditch uniform on the floor roughly, despite the background noise of Oliver yelling to put it on so they had time to get out there.
She used the precious time she had to walk an over and give Fred a well deserved slap on the arm, his beautiful laughter once more filling her ears.
-I hoped you liked it! 💕🥺

His Sunshine
Pairing: Draco Malfoy x Reader
Warnings: Bad writing
Summary: Draco is a cold, dark, brooding person who forgot what it was like to smile or feel happy. But Y/n is the biggest ray of sunshine ever, she always has a smile on her face and is always trying to make people feel better. What happens when they are forced to work on a project together?
Word Count:513
A/n: I feel like I could've written this so much better but I just couldn't find the right words. I really like the grumpy boy and sunshine girl trope it's one of my favorites. I feel like Draco is very misunderstood and honestly isn't a bad person he just didn't have anyone supporting him or helping him. So most of my stories about him may be different than the movies but it's how I envision him.

3rd Person POV
Draco used to be a happy kid in his first year at Hogwarts, but as the years went by he became less and less happy. He was under so much pressure from his father to follow in his footsteps and become a Death Eater and serve his families purpose. He forgot what it was like to feel happiness and joy.
But Y/n on the other hand was the complete opposite, she always had a smile on her face and she radiated happiness. Unfazed by the world's harshness, Y/n exuded an infectious joy that seemed to dance in the air around her. Her whimsical demeanor and dreamy gaze were as captivating as they were mystifying. But surprisingly Draco didn't hate her, and he had every reason to. She was a muggle born and a Gryffindor, there is no reason Draco should feel the way he feels about her. But when he sees her smile he can't help but want to know the reason for her smile, and he wanted to be the reason she smiled like that.
2nd Person POV
One snowy day Draco had woken up just like every morning; sad and alone. He walked his way to potions with Snape, not prepared for what the day had in store for him. Draco walked into class and sat down at his normal table ignoring the useless boring chatter coming from Crabbe and Goyle.
"Alright everyone, I am going to assign you partners and you need to have this done by the end of the class." Everyone groaned and waited to hear who they were going to be forced to work with. Draco has managed to turn out Snape so he was surprised when you suddenly appear next to him.
"Don't worry, let's try and get this done as quick as we can so you can resume your role as the curator of crankiness." You said trying to get some sort of reaction from Draco. But he was facing away from you can not talking. Unbeknownst to you Draco's lips quirked into the tiniest smile.
As the next few days went by you and Draco continued to be partners and work together in potions. Over time, Y/n's infectious happiness became a balm to Draco's brooding soul. You taught him to appreciate the beauty in the smallest moments and find joy even in the darkest corners. Y/n, in turn, discovered a depth and resilience in Draco that others seldom saw.
As the days turned into weeks, Draco found himself smiling more often, his scowl replaced by a softer expression. Your relentless optimism had worked its magic on him. In a quiet moment beneath the starlit sky, Draco took your hand and admitted, "You're infuriatingly happy, y/l/n, but somehow, I find myself drawn to it."
And so, the grumpy Slytherin and the happy dreamer forged an unlikely connection, proving that sometimes, love blooms in the most unexpected places even between a ray of sunshine and a grumpy man who just needed someone to show him the sunshine.

All the Drarry Fics I've read and loved - Part 2
Back with another list.
No one ever told me by Slight Weasel - It is a one-shot where Harry marries Draco to keep him out of Azkaban. Harry says a lot of 'er', and Draco is doing his best to not be a prick. Harry's POV shows a Draco who has changed and is doing his best in drastic circumstances. It is an MPreg fic, so please read the tags before you jump in. I like reading MPreg fics, so I loved it.
Slutty Butter by Drarryweather - The best three-shot smut fic I've ever read (After Hoko_onchi - honestly, I love them; have read almost everything by them and 10/10 recommend). The writing is fantastic, the ending is satisfying, and there is a kinky Draco who unlocked several kinks for me. Everybody wins.
We're Not Friends by Alexmeg - I read this and cried a lot. Deals with heavy stuff. It is a short fic. But I feel this deals with what happens with Draco after the war at Hogwarts realistically. People leave him alone. And he is not just alone; he is lonely. So when he asks to meet Harry one day, it is suspicious. Ends on a happy note (I don't read fics with sad endings, so trust me, read this). Good fic. (I have also read Tell me a secret by them - this is also good but the ending felt off. Also, took me a long time to get into this fic. It is inspired by Grounds for Divorce so I had high hopes tbh. But oh well)
Not Mine, Never Yours by CapricornBookworm - Oh dear lord, we love oblivious Harry and pining Draco, but at one point, I was screaming at Harry to just realise that he's in love with Draco. And the ending soothed my burnt Drarry soul. And we get Charlie Weasley. Honestly, the best and the hottest Weasley. Would also recommend other fics by them. I've read them all. If I like a fic, I read all the other fics by the author.
Get What You Knead by dodgerkedavra - Harry is a shopowner and, fortunately/unfortunately, ends up buying a shop opposite Draco. The way Harry gets re(?)-obsessed with Draco is hilarious. Love this one-shot. If you are a cat lover, you'd definitely love this one.
All In Due Time by gnarf - It is an MPreg, and honestly, it has cinnamon roll Scorpius and I loved him. My heart broke for Draco in this fic. It was like one after the other thing was going bad for him. And Harry could've stepped in earlier. But I guess that's why this fic works and is aptly titled. Because you finally see Draco happy with his kids and find love with Harry after he has somewhat healed. Love this journey for them.
A Shower, A Meal, A Nap, and A Shag by chickenlivesinpumpkin - This is an 8-parter fic. Read it only if you are of a strong heart and can take rough, and I mean rough af smut cuz even I had to skip certain parts. It has a fantastic possessive, jealous, and obsessive Harry but you know there's something wrong. In one of the parts, they kinda break up (not a spoiler), and again, if don't like such a vivid description of a break up then skip that part. The fic, otherwise, is a masterpiece. I have realised a masterpiece fic will often bring up issues for you, and you will want to add disclaimers. The author has also done so. So, read this fic, but only if you're in a strong mind space. Read the tags before you get into it.
we have heard on high by oflights - Oh, this is a lovely fic. A soulmate au, where Harry knows who his soulmate but Draco doesn't know it yet. There's a good backstory to it. It is a long one-shot. It is a good late-night light read. I have definitely read more fics by this author but can't recall any at the moment. So do check them out.
I hope you all like the recs. Let me know if you have read any of them or read them after my rec and liked it? I mean it's okay if you don't but I'd love it if you do, you know? Also, thanks for all the love on my last rec list.
I will definitely come back with another list. Till then, keep reading, writing, and loving Drarry 💚🩶 (always grateful to the authors who write fics and share their art with us)
PS. Some of these fics will require you to have an ao3 account.

So American | D.M.

summary: You and Draco have a lazy day. However, you and Draco take your teas differently.
pairing: draco malfoy x american!reader
includes: MAJOR FLUFF, kissing, teasing, playful bantering
a/n: i was listening to olivia rodrigo.
When you first moved to the United Kingdom to further your studies on witchcraft and wizardry, you didn’t expect to fall head over heels. Especially when that person wasn’t know for their behavior back at Hogwarts; At least that’s what you heard from your co-workers. You didn’t believe that he — the sweetest nurse at St. Mungo’s — could be so cruel to the Harry Potter.
But when you found yourself getting closer to the Brit, you couldn’t help but ask him his reasoning. It wasn’t like you asked with malicious intent, and luckily he didn’t view it as such. He simply stated that he was young and stupid, making you stifle a laugh. From there, your friendship with the blonde deepened and blossomed into a steady relationship.
There were often days where you both worked on such a tight schedule at St Mungo’s, but on some occasions, you were both scheduled to have the same day off. These special days were entitled: Lazy Days. Quite original.
Lazy days were a familiar routine. The both of you would stay in bed as long as you could until you were starving and then lay on the couch reading a book until it was tea time. Something you had gotten accustomed to.
However, tea to you was different to people from England.
“Dray?” You yawn softly as he ran his fingers up and down your back. You finished reading a chapter a while ago and just wanted to be in the present until 4:30, which was when Draco would get up and prepare tea for the both of you.
Draco hummed in response to you calling out for him, gaze lifting from his book to your tired eyes. “My love?”
“I’m cold.” You pull on your blanket tighter and give him a sheepish smile. “Sorry, you can continue reading.”
“You’re cute, you know that?” He set his book down and pulled you into his arms so you were comfortably straddling him. He pulled the blanket around the both of you as you easily tucked your head in his neck.
“You feel warm.” You hum into his neck, hands finding his shirt and slipping underneath. “Super warm.”
He chuckled softly, pulling his head back to take a look at your tired face. His eyes did a full sweep of you. From the stray strands of hair sticking to your forehead to the curves of your face.
“D’you wanna come with me to make tea?”
You shiver when his hands slip under your top and around your waist, a contrast to his other body parts. You move your head back into his neck, nodding softly at the question.
“Of course.”
Draco kissed your cheek and removed the blanket covering the both of you with ease. He secured his hands underneath your thighs and made his way over to the kitchen, setting you on top of one of the counters.
“Counter’s cold.” You grumble as you tuck your hands into your arms in attempts to warm your body from the freezing granite.
“M’sorry.” Draco gave you sorry smile and brought his hands down to your thighs and gentle rubbed to warm you. “Better?”
You smile warmly at him and let him go back to his tasks as the kettle whistles at you. This was always one of your favorite sights. Just the domesticated life you and Draco led outside of witchcraft and wizardry, well, as much as you could.
“Can you add creamer to mine?” You murmur and wince when you hear him drop the tea spoon into the cup itself, causing a loud clunk to ring out. You knew this was going to happen, it happened every time.
He looked up and glanced at you from the corner of his eye before blinking. “No.”
“Dray.” You huff, watching him stir in the sugar for the both of you. “Please.”
“Creamer is for coffee. You can have honey with your tea.” He opened the refrigerator for the honey. “Here.”
In horrible attempts, you tried to grab the creamer from the fridge but get pulled away by Draco himself. Rolling your eyes, you squirm and try escaping but no avail.
“Draco, you can have it with honey or whatever you put in your tea. I want creamer in mine.” You cross your arms, tilting your head up the slightest bit to face him. You watched him look at you with absolutely no emotion, hands still keeping you in place.
You pouted jokingly, making yourself seem cuter than normal. Draco raised a brow at you and shook his head, making you pout even more.
“Please.” You rest your forehead on his chest and feel his arms encase your body. “Just this once.”
After a beat, you hear Draco sigh and you know you’ve won him over, even if it hurts his poor Brit heart.
“You’re so American, my love.” Draco kissed the top of your head and opened the fridge for the creamer, handing it to you. “I’ll get you to convert eventually. You are living here now.”
“I’ll make you move to the states with me.” You cheekily reply, kissing his cheek. “I love you, Dray.”
He rolled his eyes and squeezed your hip as you poured creamer into your tea, watching the transparent liquid change. “I love you too, you American.”

—anti-hero

pairing: draco malfoy x fem!reader
summary: you hate that you’re so emotional about everything, but draco secretly loves you for it
warnings: none
“hey, guys” your voice was soft and rather quiet, but still loud enough to achieve immediate silence from your boyfriend and his friends.
draco and you had been dating for more than a year now, but you were still not sure his friends even liked you or just tolerated you at most.
“love” draco nodded, a pleased smile on his lips, as he made space for you between him and blaise.
the pairing of the two of you was quite unexpected to say the least. no one in the castle had expected draco malfoy, a slytherin through and through, to fall in love with the sweetest hufflepuff in his year, not even you. you were surprised yourself, when he had one day come to the greenhouse, asking you out for a butterbeer. the rest was history.
“how is you project going?” draco asked.
“well, it’s a bit harder than expected, i have to admit” you shrugged, but draco shook his head.
“nothing you wouldn’t be able to overcome”
“you’re flattering me”
“yeah” blaise exclaimed annoyed “please stop, your guys’ flirting gets on my nerves”
draco and you exchanged a look. “sorry” you quickly excused “i didn’t mean to annoy you”
blaise shook his head, absentmindedly telling you it was fine, before he continued biting down his toast. enzo threw a smile in your direction.
“ignore him” he grinned “he’s been bitter all morning”
“oh what happened?” you asked, rather worried.
draco softly connected your hands, shaking his head at you and whispering something along the lines of telling you about it later.
“oi, we might as well tell her, malfoy” mattheo rolled his eyes, making it evident that he heard every single word.
“i’m not sure if—“ draco tried to say, but was quickly interrupted by mattheo, who leaned over the table as if he had interesting information for you.
“he’s been rejected by tara gallagher”
“oh” you muttered, unsure what to respond.
“seems like someone doesn’t have what it takes to charm a hufflepuff” theo muttered and you turned you head in his direction, surprised that he had even listened to the conversation, as he was busy, reading a book about defense against the dark arts.
“well, not everyone has the privilege to have malfoy as their last name” enzo shrugged, as he added the words laughing.
blaise rolled his eyes, but did not say anything. you looked back and forth between draco’s friends, unsure if the conversation was going in the right direction.
you hated when the topic would fall on draco’s and your relationship. the slytherins would often make jokes about your unlikely pairing, as if it wasn’t already hard enough for you to believe that someone like draco could really love someone like you.
“maybe draco could give you a few tips” enzo grinned and you bit down on your lip.
“yeah, or maybe tara gallagher is just too clever to believe everything i tell her” the words had left blaise’ mouth before he had really thought about the implication they would have about you and draco. just when you thought it was only you thinking in that direction, he quickly threw a hand over his mouth, spotting a regretful look.
“y/n” enzo muttered when he noticed your teary eyes.
draco’s smile died down as he turned his head and noticed the look on your face.
“sorry” you quickly apologized, as you swung your legs over the bench.
“i’m sorry” blaise quickly tried to interfere, but you were already hurrying down the row to the door of the great hall.
“you’re really amazing at talking to girls” theo stated sarcastically “when you don’t make them cuss you out, you make them cry”
“i’m sorry—“
“—you better be” draco interrupted blaise.
“—but she’s just so sensitive. i mean i wasn’t even speaking about her”
“well, the implication was right there” enzo shrugged “you could’ve been a bit more considerate"
"i'm going to search for my girlfriend before you have time to insult her some more"
"i told you i was sorry"
"safe it" draco shook his head, standing up.
"tell y/n we're sorry about blaise" theo said sympathetically.
draco nodded, before he stormed out of the hall, trying to make you out. you were hiding in a dark corner, face in your hands when he found you.
"hey" draco cooed, taking your hands in his and lifting them from your face. "don't cry, love"
"i'm sorry" you sobbed and draco's face softened. he took you into his arms, trying to calm you down. you stopped crying eventually, while he was rubbing circles on your back.
"i'm sorry about what blaise said" draco apologized when you were calm enough to listen to him. "i don't think he meant it like that, you know?"
"it's not blaise" you said honestly, shaking your head.
"oh" draco said surprised, furrowing his brows. "then what is it? there has to be a reason for you to be upset"
"that's just the problem, draco" you said softly "i don't think i have a good reason, i never do"
"what are you talking about, love?"
"i hate that i am like this" you admitted, trying to escape his eyes.
"like what?" draco wondered, worry evident on his face "there's nothing wrong with you, you're perfectly normal"
"but, i'm not" you argued "i hate they way i always start crying and am upset at nothing, it's exhausting and must be much more for you"
"oh, love"
"and i get that might be the reason that your friends don't like me" you bit your lip, trying to stop yourself from crying yet again "they must think i'm acting like a baby"
"but they do like you"
"they're always quiet when i'm around"
draco looked away quickly before his eyes were back on you a second later "that might be my fault" he admitted "when we started dating i told them to behave when you would be there, i didn't want you to be uncomfortable at the way they normally are"
"oh, so you even had to tell them to tone it down, because i would be too sensible?" you whispered softly, the tears threatening to spill yet again.
"no, love" draco shook his head, touching your shoulders as you looked up at him with big eyes. "i thought they would ruin my chances with you. not because you are too sensible, just because they can be real idiots and would probably scare any girl away"
"except for pansy" you shrugged, a smile playing on your lips.
"yeah" draco laughed, happy that you weren't as sad anymore "she would probably scare them away first anyway"
you giggled at his words. he touched your face, rubbing your tears away softly. "don't cry anymore, yeah?" he asked "you're perfect the way you are. actually i fell in love with you because you're so sensible, while i wouldn't directly call the way you are sensible"
you smiled up at him with hope at your eyes. "what would you call it?"
"empathetic" draco smiled "i have never seen someone being so concerned about the well-being of bugs"
"i pray nobody kills me for the crime of being small" you recited.
"exactly" draco nodded, kissing your forehead "you're the most caring person i know and i don't think having strong emotions is wrong in any way"
"you really fell in love with me because of it?" you asked "i always thought it was something you were able to ignore or tolerate, not something you liked"
"how could i not? i was a goner after i saw you build a bed for the bug" he laughed "i should've told you, but i assumed you knew, forgive me, love"
"don't be sorry" you kissed his cheeks "i hated myself for it for the longest time, but knowing that you actually like it changes everything"
"i don't just like it, i love you for it"
"i love you too" you smiled.
"and i do think the guys like you" draco nudged your elbow "you should've seen the way theo and enzo chewed out blaise and how sorry the poor fella was. they even told me to tell your they were sorry on his behalf and blaise was apologetic too"
"he didn't do anything wrong"
"he could've been more considerate" draco shrugged "should we go back? we don‘t have to, if you're not comfortable"
"i'd like to finish my breakfast"
"good" draco nodded, taking your hand and leading you back to the table.
blaise immediately apologized several times when he noticed you, even after you had told him it was fine. the rest of breakfast was much more enjoyable with the guys feeling more comfortable now that they knew you were alright.
you were glad to have such a loving boyfriend and draco was glad that you were alright.
you cried a lot less during the weeks to follow, a result of you growing more comfortable around draco's friends and also becoming friends with them too.
after draco had told them they didn't have to behave differently when you were around the ice got broken and they weren't as reserved anymore.
theo and you would often study together. he was good in potions and you were good in astronomy so you would constantly help each other.
it turned out that both blaise and you were giant quidditch fans and were actually fans of the same team. you often spent time talking about past games or different players you liked. he even gifted you a scarf in your team's color for your birthday.
pansy, mattheo and you would occasionally visit hogsmeade together, spending the whole day in honey-dukes, testing the newest snacks and sweets and deciding on your favorite sorts or flavours.
you learned that enzo was obsessed with plants and flowers so you often got him seeds to plant and helped him in the garden.
draco was glad that you had finally settled into the group and that you weren't so afraid of your feelings anymore that you actually had the time to notice that they all found you lovely, even if they would occasionally joke about your ability to start crying so easily, especially during a sad movie.
blaise never made an annoyed remark about your emotional side again and you were happy to finally feel better about yourself and the way that you were.
