Chapter 4, part 2/5

(Finally second best character has arrived! One quick thing, I’m running a poll about the descriptions use in comprehending the story. I won’t be changing anything, but I want to know how many of you use it to understand the story and how well I’m communicating information nonverbally.)

Luz has never seen the prettier garden before, she can’t believe she’s never found this place before. However Stringbean seems to only be only interested in the greenery in the form of food. Suddenly Luz and Stringbean overhear a strange sound and the two go to investigate. They find a girl, about Luz’s age, looking like she’s doing some kind of work out routine. The mysterious girl grabs a very rooted, piece of seaweed and begins to tug at it hard…maybe a little too hard…

The mysterious girl, Willow as we all know, accidentally yanks at it so hard that it accidentally breaks apart, goes flying, and hits Luz straight in the face. Willow immediately rushes towards Luz and apologizes profusely for potentially hurting her; Willow doesn’t know her own strength! Luz is completely cool with it and isn’t angry at all.

Willow then realizes something. She takes a closer look at Luz and recognizes Luz as the girl that Lilith was interrogating.Though Willow wasn’t actually at the meeting, nor knows anything about the “confidential information” she did managed to get a quick glance at it during all the commotion (I mean the doors were open). Plus news does spread fast among the castle staff.

Willow immediately asks a very surprised Luz a million questions. Who was she? Why was she talking to Queen Lilith? Does she know anything about the “confidential information”everyone in the castle has been talking about? Poor Luz, even when she’s not meeting with Lilith she’s still has to play 20 questions.
