I've been seeing some AUs where Hunter is like "evil" still, some times having the Golden Guard fully aware of himself being a Grimwalker and still going along with Belos' plans for one reason or another.

OKAY here's my own pitch to Evil Hunter: Basically Heathers AU Huntlow [Meant to Be Yours]

Willow and Hunter connect during an encounter near Hexside, and they bond over time. He insists for her to join him and the Emperor's Coven consistently, but pushes too hard eventually.

She asks for some space. She is worried about him!! But the way he's acting... it's really scaring her. Something's not right and she doesnt know how to help him yet.

Hunter is livid. He's angry, he's upset, he's frantic. He doesnt understand why she cant listen to reason, to salvation. He feels like he's losing his mind as he's all alone, again.

How dare she?

No, it's not her fault. Obviously, it's the human's. And her 'friends'. And her school. They were rot to the Emperor's vision, to his and Willow's future. She's pushing him away because of them. But, he can work with this! He can fix this, for her. Because he'd do anything for her, really. She'd understand. He knows she will, he'll make her.

This took me a whole day of non-stop drawing, so I hope you guys like it. Needed to get this out of my system before I disappear for like a week while visiting family so I apologize if it's kinda messy (just don't look too closely). My sister was shaking her head the whole time she worked on editing the video ('you can tell you dont draw for the purpose of video editing, because these drawings are cut wrong man'). I think she did great working with what she had LOL

I took some creative liberty in the outfits with some of the fanfiction so if you read them (which you should!!!) dont be surprised by the inconsistencies of how I drew them LOL

An unexpected AU I thought of 'cause it's been living rent free in my head-

"A princess, hidden from the world because of her unusual powers, and a child soldier, from a land across the sea. Made an unusual encounter and made an unexpected friendship. A strong bond was made as they relate to each other's woes from the life they are living. A princess trapped within her kingdom walls, because of her family's worries that her powers might get exploited/exposed. And a child soldier under the shadow of his ironfisted uncle, who was the captain of the battalion that was sent to the princess' country for a peace meeting in order to forge an alliance. But something wasn't right within the walls of the kingdom. Something sinister, something malicious, something bad. It was now up to Hunter and Willow to try and grasp what it is that is trying to shatter the peaceful ambience of the kingdom."

A.K.A. "Hunter and Willow goes on a mystery hunt (without the adults' knowledge) while also trying to get to know each other more and trying to get out of trouble as much as they can. But, that's easier said than done, right?"
