i'm begging you guys to start pirating shit from streaming platforms. there are so many websites where you can stream that shit for free, here's a quick HOW TO:

1) Search for: watch TITLE OF WORK free online

2) Scroll to the bottom of results. Click any of the "Complaint" links

3) You will be taken to a long list of links that were removed for copyright infringement. Use the 'find' function to search for the name of the show/movie you were originally searching for. You will get something like this (specifics removed because if you love an illegal streaming site you don't post its url on social media)

4) each of these links is to a website where you can stream shit for free. go to the individual websites and search for your show/movie. you might have to copy-paste a few before you find exactly what you're looking, but the whole process only takes a minute. the speed/quality is usually the same as on netflix/whatever, and they even have subtitles! (make sure to use an adblocker though, these sites are funded by annoying popups)

In conclusion, if you do this often enough you will start recognizing the most dependable websites, and you can just bookmark those instead. (note: this is completely separate from torrenting, which is also a beautiful thing but requires different software and a vpn)

you can also download the media in question (look for a "download" button built into the video window, or use a browser extension such as Video DownloadHelper.)

To be fair it's not really the anniversary since it's lantern rite, but I was under the impression that Hoyo prioritizes that more than the actual anniversary since it's a Chinese company. But the rewards are virtually no different from the previous years so I can't really complain too much.

However, it's the year of the DRAGON.

I thought it would put more emphasis on him rather than Ganyu-Shenhe-Xingqiu skins haha. Is it weird I'm lowkey getting offended on Zhongli's behalf??? Probably. I just think he deserves so much more if we already set up that Yaoyao became playable since it was the year of the rabbit.

Gaming's cute tho. Maybe I just have an ENG VA bias since it's my boy Caleb but I'd try to play him. Other than that, I'm just not as excited. I waited for Cloud Retainer for so long but even though she's here now, I feel... virtually nothing. I seriously love Cloud and featured her having more screentime than Zhongli in a fic before. I wish there's something more that makes me want to continue playing but respectfully, none ;-;.

If you'd ask me which team of devs feel like they care for their players, it's the Honkai devs for both games no doubt. There are long intervals wherein I don't play the game yet I feel a lot more "welcome back"-ed, including the improved "resin" system. They just keep listening on how to enhance QoL and I appreciate them so much.

But take my opinions lightly. I like H:SR since I feel like it was a game tailor made for me. I have a preference for turn-based games (Persona, FE) and I enjoy H:SR's brand of humor, the latter especially.

hot take but a playable silver should not move at the same speeds as sonic and shadow by default. like a telekinesis ability inherently promotes a more puzzle-based gameplay that can also involve physics and the like and trying to do shit like that with a character who zip zooms all over the place is Not Great. having an Option to go fast by utilizing different telekinesis abilities in some way would be perfectly fine but i do not think you should be allowed to just tilt the left stick to the brim and move just as fast as sonic and shadow

I was playing neopets and doing the faerie caverns for funsies because I never really won from that, but just yesterday when I was going in suddenly there's a voice in my head that went "ok you should pick right. I've got a text effect I've been dying to add in my IF but I'm worried it'll be visually too much for some players/a pain for fast readers so I've been trying to figure out how to give folks a toggle option but I don't know how and I haven't been able to find anything helpful... any advice at all you have would be helpful and deeply appreciated!!

Oh Jesus -- I wouldn't say it's a good solution, but it works. Sometimes. Essentially I create a custom class (in my case ".snaggletooth") and in settings I create a toggle for people to either append the class to its dialogue ("true") or leave it as normal text ("false").

The code looks something like this:

Then you add a few lines of CSS code that tells the robot what paragraphs with the .snaggletooth class should look like. Theoretically this should work. I have yet to animate the text because I'm scared.

Also, to note: I'm using SugarCube v2. I'm sure this is different for Chapbook or Harlowe.
