my fancyyy snowdrops came today 😊❤️

#spent almost $100 on four (4) snowdrop bulbs in the spring 😳#they came today and i planted them 😊#they're fancy pants ones and hopefully will bloom around christmas for most of them #i got one late blooming kind one normal blooming kind and two christmas kinds #so should hopefully get a good long snowdrop season idk #its $35 dollars shipping plus each bulb was like $20 lol #thats why its so expensive #anywayyy they simply dont have the fancy varieties in my cluntry or it would not be this way #i had to get the one single supplier in the uk who would ship here bc some regulations on shipping plants makes it expensive #super excited tho #i ordered one fancy one before and it bloomed in january this year which was cool #also i had to dig it up and move it bc it got stepped on and it had two little baby bulbs on it so i got to divide it 🥺#it was a fancy ~christmas~ one but it bloomed a but late #weather or bc it was getting established or bc of my growing zone idk why #but im trying to find one that will bloom at christmas for me #i might need to go for the ones promised to bloom in october but we'll see #they're so expensive lol #oh also two of the ones i ordered came w baby bulbs attached too so it was bonus plants!#which is really nice #some suppliers will break those off and send them as full price bulbs #this has been a shitpost

There is a woman who keeps calling at work asking if we have EXTREMELY specific things. Like, a dark green women's fur lined fall jacket with gold zippers in large. And we don't have a searchable inventory system so I always put her on hold and go look and write down what we have and the brands and prices and then come back and tell her, to which she says great! She'll be by in about six weeks. And I have to explain that the item will almost certainly have sold by then. And she says okay, well what price are your purses? And I explain that we have many purses at many prices. And she says wow, impressive. And then asks about an extremely specific shoe that she will not be here in time to buy. I don't say this lightly, but it is literally nothing but a massive waste of time.

I'm gonna have to really tighten up my budget soon (the student loan pause is ending 😔), so I decided to give myself one big manga buying last hurrah before I sit down with the finance spreadsheet. I also, for unrelated reasons, ordered a couple volumes of manga, a webcomic printing, and a book earlier this week.

I have more packages coming in the next month than I've had at literally any other point in my lifetime. It's Hanukkah in August for Andromeda.

#I'm usually. uh. kind of a miser #Even the past few months. as I've been celebrating having a good job and disposable income for the first time #I'm still pretty careful about what I spend money on #but I've ordered eleven packages in the past week #10 of which are a book or manga of some kind #used book sites you are my very best friends #I got 5 things today for like 45 dollars total #and a large chunk of that was one specific expensive thing #we're cutting down the book budget from here out #but damn I'm excited #I read a LOT of manga digitally for obvious convenience and price reasons #can't beat the low low price of 🏴‍☠️#but there's something so special about being able to curl up w a physical copy of something I love #I had like no physical case study volumes for a long time #so it's good to remedy that #invasion of the frogs #I promise I'm not bragging I'm just very very excited about this

#so today i broke down and fully cried over realizing the reality that i probably won't be able to go see Taylor on this tour #and i felt so stupid for it like crying over not getting to see a concert seems so trivial and i mean so many reasons but like #and like i don't cry much anymore like I've been through and am in so much pain and horrible stuff constantly and so much stress and trauma #but I've built up strength to not cry over those things like if i did I'd just be crying nonstop so i channel my emotions into trying to #solve the problems and like still I'm so unbelievably stressed but like also as an empath i feel everything really deeply but usually lately #the things that make me cry are more like sweet animal rescue videos acts of kindness touching stories or really deeply inspirational or #relatable things in books etc but so like I'm like mad at myself for crying over this but #i checked the stubhub like prices for what tix are going for and it's fucking over 500 a pop for nosebleeds i just #it's infuriating the scalping and how many hard core fans are unable to go bc of that but rich ppl who aren't really fans i just. 1000 bucks #for 300 level is just no I'm sorry that's not ever gonna happen and i just #i really thought I'd just find tickets over time closer to the event like that's how I've done several concerts but then i looked and saw #that and I'm like oh my god and that's before fees and then there's the gas to get there the repairs that need to be done to the car to get #there all the other fees involved and in realizing oh my god like I've been overconfident and now i don't see a way and I'm so sad and i #just broke down its i know iy seems stupid but first this feels like something that might not happen again anytime soon if ever the way the #world is going out could be last chance and rep tour was the first time I'd been able to see Taylor to begin with and the experience was SO #amazing it's like the one thing i looked forward to this year that lifted me up in really dark times and again i feel shitty when there's so #many fans who never get to see her international too i just. i got into dolls from bjds and vinyl dolls that were absolutely out of my price range so now whenever i see a doll under like 100 bucks im like oh this is a great deal !
