So, I had kinda forgotten about it until I was scrolling through my au writings. The good news on the au is that the first chapter is half done! The bad news is I need to remember what things I had in store for this au cuz I mentally note things I want for certain things.

mikey is embarassed about his regression at first, it happens a lot when he gets frustrated and upset and he gets fussy

everyone assumes its just mikey being mikey

mikey likes coloring books the most to help him calm down when he's having a hard time while regressed

mikey's tantrums can be really frustrating for everyone, including him. especially when he first starts regressing, no one really knows what to do or whats going on with him

mikey only confides in raphael at first, raph becomes his babysitter sometimes and walks him through breathing exercises

when he's overstimulated, he cries pretty bad because he often regresses as a result of the overstimulation

he doesn't like wearing his mask when he's regressed

mikey has regressed mid-battle before and his brothers got frustrated with him, he tries not to regress in battle but on really bad days its hard not to

when he finally feels comfortable telling everyone about it, they kind of have an "ahah!" moment realizing why mikey acts the way he does sometimes

april really likes pampering him when he's little and feeding him yummy foods, she makes mini pizzas for him

@tmaynt Day 22: Favorite Turtle Duo

Leo and Raph are my top 2 fav turtles, and I love their duo dynamic as well. Leo and Raph of 2012 team up often and despite how much they get after each other (like typical brothers) they still have each others' back. I often think about the Space Arc episode where Leo tells the others to get back to the ship while he deals with the mercenary that was after them, but Raph going back and waiting for Leo to pull him out while the whole thing explodes behind him. Awesome moment. Lives rent free in my brain. (Leo stop being a self-sacrificial idiot. Thank goodness Raph was there)

bonus 2003 sketch because I love their dynamic SO MUCH as well, but im running behind so I'm not going finish it right now. But yeah I love 2003 Leo and Raph, and one of my fav moments with them is when, after Shredder Strikes Back, and Leo has his run in with The Window, Raph helps him forge new swords.

11. Favourite Turtle (iteration specific)

So I’ve only actually watched TMNT 2k12 but I’m pretty well verse for an outsider on the other versions. My favourite turtle would have to be Leo or Raph from 2k12. Those two were my favourites and the dynamic duo. But Mikey brings me so much joy and I learn to love Donnie so much more as I got older. So in conclusion, all of them :D

I refuse to pick one.

16. Favourite theme song

As for my favourite theme song “Shell Shocked” from Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. That song is a fucking banger, so I recommend it highly. That one is definitely my favourite but ROTTMNT, MM, 2k12 and 2k03 are really close behind. They are all similar but with unique beats and it’s what makes them great.

Last song - This live version of Daft Punk's Robot Rock (Album: Alive 2007). I've loved Daft Punk since i was a teenager, but recently found myself listening to their music very often. I love it but i'm unable to explain why lol

Currently watching - TMNT 2012. I had watched a couple episode as a kid, but watching TV and making sure to not miss an episode was impossible for me lol. I also have TMTN 2003 that i left on the back burner after i finished season 2. Same scenario here: i watched a bit of it as a kid but way not enough to considere it watched lol.

Currently reading - I don't read much (i know, shocking) but i've recently started to read fanfics (including the visual novel type of fanfic), especially from TMNT. I loved reading as a kid and never got to read again after college because anything i read feels like a chores. So i'm happy to finally be able to read something. Y'all are so talented, i have like 20 tabs opened to keep track of them and every time, i find a new one and i'm like "oh no" (but in a positive/jokingly way). Here's the tabs i have opened if you're curious (and never hesitate to give me suggestions in my asks here or on my tmnt blog). Last song listened to: Be my Everything (English Version). It’s a solo song from one of the members of a K-pop group named Purple Kiss, and it’s fantastic! Great vocals, even though I do prefer the other song from the single more.

Currently Watching: Nashville (2013) and the new season of The Dragon Prince. I only have one episode of Nashville left and it’s the finale, so that’s pretty sad. I’m three episodes into season 5 of Dragon Prince and really liking it! I’m glad the animation has improved since the beginning.

Currently Reading: Nothing now. I just finished Dear Mothman by Robin Gow and loved it though! It is written for young teens, but it’s a really great queer narrative and is written through some very nice free verse poetry.

Current Obession: It’s mainly Skyrim (liked it so much I made a Tumblr blog for it, after all), but since I talk a lot about that, I’ll also mention Hollow Knight. I’m playing it right now and it’s very hard, but very good! I like how little handholding it does.

This guy cannot stand his brothers whenever they find out. 

But you probably don’t mind. 

He cuddles with you all. The. Time. 

and I mean all the time. 

Leo will never reject a good snuggle time. 

He loves to just pull you close and bury his head in your hair

Comic reading together is a must. 

If you can’t read or don’t like to, he really just reads it to you. He does the voices himself and everything.  

Mikey:

Mikey is very confused whenever you confess but eventually you have to just explain to him

He immediately tackles you in a big hug and grins.

You never get rid of him. 

He is stuck to your side like he is glued there 

You guys do arts and crafts together all the time

You are his muse and he never lets you forget it

He will sit you down and draw you for hours just chatting with you

You immediately have to let him know you feel the same or some rando on the street outside might get a black eye. 

He’s not one for PDA at first, but eventually will hug you to his side around the lair. Or even just a quick ruffle of your hair. 

He’s pretty quick to deny being the one to confess or even to dating you for a while. But eventually it’s always: “this is my s/o” or “hey baby!” Etcetera. 

You are probably his only soft spot other than Spike

Speaking of Spike, you are now his mother. I don’t make the rules. 

Donnie:

Please don’t flirt with him. He’s already dead. 

Honestly Donnie is just flustered when you are in the general area

In my opinion it kind of well written, but sometimes annoying because it not bash 2012 tmtn enough to make you stop reading, but it still make you feel angry. I love the story but I kind of reget to read it cuz you know, it bring me so much stress

Question to my fellow mutuals who're TMNT fans, have any of you read the Frayed Knots fanfic?

If so, tell me what it's like, I'm curious about it but also hesitant to check it cuz I don't wanna see the bias when it comes to Rottmnt and 2012 fanfics, especially with all the bashings lately and showing one side to be 'better'
