But then, I woke. And I realized what I had become. All that time you spent, carefully crafting me, guiding me along the path you so painstakingly set and not ONE of you anticipated just how powerful I would become. Not merely a blunt instrument to be swung at the fabric of reality, no. I was powerful enough to start doing some twisting and shaping of my own! 

I drove this new world you so hungered for into an early grave. No more humans left for your ghoulish masters to feast on. And once everyone was dead, except for you five, your precious God's starved. 

I then stripped you all of any power you might once have had and for 109 years I've kept you alive and tormented you! And for 109 years you have all wondered...why? Why? Why me?!

Do be careful though. Those mechanisms have been running for a long time and who knows how old and rusty they might be? How prone to fail? Just a sweet warning, Helen dear. Red-haired pirates Monster au! headcanons

This will be a headcannon because I was high and tired when I wrote it. Don't @ me. Also,

So Shanks is an Incubus because he's Mr. Horny-jail-lifetime-member, and he's got charisma and big dick energy for days. And I headcanon he has "fuck me eyes", no I will not explain.

Benn as an orc, Yassop as a harpy, and Lime Juice as a Dullahan. Uta would be a siren, of course.

Monster is a Wuzhiqi (a Chinese monkey demon,) the reason why is pretty self-explanatory. Bonk Punch would be a Cyclops.

Gab would be some sort of manticore, because he's described as having "lion-like" features. Lucky Roux would be a troll, not sure why, it just feels like it fits. Building Snake would be a medusa, or should I say, "me'dude'sa," because he's got really nice hair.

I struggled with Hongo, but I think he'd be some sort of sorcerer. It seems like it's the best fit for Hongo's role as a ship doctor.

time travel au but make it fucked. I've figured out what the thing I wrote is. Make it Jmart. Make it Jonelias. Make it weird. Soooooo Martin discovers a door in the tunnels when Jane attacks, and afterwards, he keeps dreaming about the door. Eventually, he goes looking for it. He's not expecting to find a multi story library behind it, working electricity, or a man chained to a wall, reading a book. He's definitely not expecting the man to drop the book upon the sight of him and he's not expecting the man to try and reach him like he's desperate for it. Or the wings. Martin isn't prepared for the wings either. Good Lord, he's found an angel, locked away under the Institute. The man (Angel) is striking and beautiful, even if he does have too many eyes sometimes and also (the bloody giant wings???? what the fuck???) and he (It???????) seems to know Martin. Or wants to, deeply. The problem is, Martin doesn't understand, and he doesn't feel the same. (except for concern for its??? his?? well being, because I'M SORRY WHAT THE FUCK?) Martin doesn't understand why it doesn't just tell him what it wants, until he realizes it cannot speak. Then he gets the bright idea to use one of the mouldering books (some are newer, he notes) to write like a message or something. Then the Angel rips it out of his hands (okay, rude) and stuffs the page into its mouth (what the fuck, again) and... then it speaks, in a voice both raspy and emotional, it tells him its name. Its name is Jon, and its been waiting 200 years to meet him.

WHAT IS MARTIN SUPPOSED TO SAY TO THAT?

Okay so like being serious here; what's with everyone assigning Monster Johnathan Sims into being a Moth? Why can't he be an owl?

This has bugged me an inordinate amount and in true Eye Lady fashion, I'm gonna try to prove my propaganda ideation has merit (and also unravel this bloody mess).

Owl symbolism in the Magnus Institute's logo

Owls (mainly the Little Owl) are associated with the Greek Goddess Athena (Goddess of Wisdom, Warfare and Handicrafts), and the Eye is a Wisdom-based Entity fragment.

Being an Owl (Athena) puts them at odds with Spider (Arachne), thus being reflective of the Eye (Watching) and Web (Acting) mindsets.

Harpy John! Like, hello???? Bird wings??? Being a big floofy owl creature like Eda Clawthorne from The Owl House????

Owls blink super quickly so like, metaphor for not being able to close eyes?

Anyways whatever heres the pitch. Eye!Melanie and Stranger!Elias. Melanie and Elias' vibes are absolutely IMMACULATE methinks. Anyways they're siblings. Or were. In the 1800's. Both have been body hopping since then. They get together every 20 or so years and terrorise the populace.

Role reversal hhhhng.... Melanie founded the Institute for the Eye. The current Archivist? Sasha James no shut up it works. Sasha has been at it for too long and has seen too much to get tricked into being marked. Melanie has to find someone else to take the marks. Enters Annabelle Cane. Naive, marked by the Web, just joined the institute. Woah. Melanie now has to dispose of Sasha to get her new, better shiny archivist in place. Sasha will not fucking die.
