One of my fav headcanons about percabeth is Percy being Annabeth’s first friend.

Because Annabeth, seven and new and experiencing a loss, iced everyone out. She’s friends with Luke and Grover and Chiron cause that’s all she needs and honestly all she can handle.

Yes, yes, she knows all about the other campers. The Stolls version of hazing is stealing you blind when you first arrive. Clarisse is constantly fighting to prove herself, just like her. Selina believes in true love and not breaking hearts. Katie thinks straws are killing the economy. Beckendorf has a secret room all to himself. Lee secretly listens to Lady Gaga.

Some things are general public knowledge, some are secrets no one else knows. She doesn’t figure it out cause their friends, no. It’s because she’s been watching them since they arrived. From Thalia’s tree, from the Athena table, from under the shield of invisibility.

She watches, but she doesn’t interact. They don’t either, hearing stories of the little girl who stalks campers during their first week. Freaked out but mostly uncaring.

She had her people, her routine, unchanging and stable.

And then Percy came along.

He sticks around after the first week, which is weird but she’s teaching him Greek so it’s fine. But then he takes her on a quest, her FIRST one. And it’s so wonderful seeing the world and seeing it with him isn’t so bad. And then they nearly die but still come home and he’s still there. He shows her movies and music that isn’t Chiron’s old operas.

And, suddenly, she finds herself WITH him, not watching him. She’s in the moment, living it as it happens, not watching from afar.

She finds herself with a friend.

wait I desperately want to hear about mercymorn abortion fic

picture this scene. it's Christmas eve. I just finished editing my mpreg f1 holiday exchange fic (roll with it) wherein a character wishes he could get an abortion but isn't allowed to. two of my friends are writing abortion fics. the topic is on my mind. my mum asks me to go with her to Christmas mass. I say yes. I'm sitting in that church when it's so cold outside and the thought comes to my mind... pre-Resurrection M- should have an abortion and Cristabel the nun has to hold her hand through it <3

(One of my strongest pre-Resurrection TLT headcanons is about Mercy and Cristabel meeting while they're both doing volunteer work with some medical organisation ala MSF working with climate refugees. A lot of the job includes providing reproductive healthcare services, and they obviously come from very different backgrounds but come together in this very specific circumstance that shapes their friendship going forward. And this shapes the actual scenario of M- being the one to get an abortion while Cristabel helps her out after, bonus points if they've previously debated it and had somewhat different points of views on it but Cristabel puts that aside in order to support a friend who needs her.)

i haven't talked about this on here, and idk if tamsyn necessarily intended it to come off that way but harrow being a demisexual lesbian is one headcanon you can pry from my cold dead hands lol something about how's particular brand of demi lesbianism and the fact that her LI is hot butch really helped me figure out that im in fact a lesbian and not bi as i thought.] but like listen: The only people Harrow has canonically loved: - the Body (basically the image of woman who can never love her back and on whom Harrow can project whatever she wants) - Gideon (aka someone she has known since literal childhood, "her only friend") - (she does admit ianthe is beautiful but i don't personally consider that sexual attraction for several reasons, but that's for a different post possibly after i reread HtN) I mean yeah she's religiously repressed obviously, but it's not just that. She literally spends the entirety of HtN being like "ew sex, marriage, kissing, the idea of marrying your cavalier" (even when it doesn't involve her) UNTIL the moment she remembers Gideon

i have a headcanon that nigella was not just an artist but a potter and u can pry it from my cold dead hands. Why does she have a ceramics collection. why is her house the masters of psycometry and understanding objects and their history. You know who use a weird form of divination? Potters tapping on a leatherhard pot while theyre trimming and somehow knowing exactly how thick the clay is. Also all of archeology related to pottery. You know what the 200 into 1 or whatever it is with teacher? aligning a bunch of souls into 1 body? its a stretch but that reminds me hella like the way i visualize the concept of clay molecules aligning and its importance to literally every aspect of pottery to make smthn without it breaking. also, gay. and potters have hella arm muscles thats good cav material right there.
