Tumblr media
Tito Jackson, the renowned member of the Jackson 5 and brother of the late Michael Jackson, has passed away at age 70, according to US media. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
Jackson, who was in Munich preparing for a performance, was a key figure in the legendary group alongside Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, who died in 2009. Tito’s sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson, confirmed the news via Instagram, expressing their profound grief and honoring their father's legacy with a heartfelt tribute.
The Jackson 5, formed in 1964, achieved worldwide fame with hits like "ABC," "The Love You Save," and "I Want You Back," selling over 150 million records. They received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 1980 and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
Tito recently performed at the Fool in Love Festival in California with his siblings. Tributes have poured in, including a moving message from former drummer Jonathan Moffett, who described his sorrow and extended his condolences to the Jackson family.
In addition to his work with the Jackson 5, Tito had a solo career, including his 2016 Billboard-charting single "Get It Baby." He was the third eldest of the Jackson siblings, including Janet and LaToya Jackson.

literally in bed in tears…
my bf went out to get us breakfast and I was texting him and he asked me if I heard the news and he’s sorry and I was like huh? He told me Tito passed away.
Tito!?! TITOOOOO!? This feels like a sick joke. My heart goes out to his sons especially Taj who’s been working tirelessly on the Righting HIStory documentary for his Uncle Michael. He explained on the MJ birthday livestream how he struggled with not being able to hear Michael’s voice anymore and how that took a toll on him. Dealing with people on the internet who are being willfully and purposely obtuse and trying to get a rise out of him. He was very emotional throughout the whole thing and it sucks! You’re trying to create something for your Uncle who was severely and criminally misunderstood and boom your father now suddenly passes away. Life can be so cruel😞
My heart goes out to Ms Katherine. Lord/Universe/Nature/And the powers that be PLEASE don’t take anyone else from this family. Please! I wish them not only strength but also comfort during these times. My heart goes out to Jackie being the eldest brother. My heart goes out to Rebbie being the eldest sibling. I’m just really shocked. This was not how I wanted to spend my day off 🙁 especially since I told that lady yesterday that I really hope I can see the Jacksons live in the US perhaps.
Tito to me felt very grounded/rock-like and the time and energy he dedicated to his sons 3T is admirable. Seeing him make music with Austin Brown (Rebbie’s son) whom I like very much, I’m just really sad.
His last instagram post was about him being at his brother’s memorial in Munich which was really sweet. To think days later he’d be meeting and greeting his brother again… I truly believe in my heart that they’re reunited.

Rest in power Toriano Adaryll "Tito" Jackson🌹

To this talented musician brother and the 3rd of 9 children, Tito Jackson 🎸 He was the second of my favorite members or siblings of the Jackson family. I love how he defends MJ against media. Not just only him being musician, he also a great father and grandfather too. Please protect his mother Jackson with his family to stay them healthy and strong. I can’t imagine how his family feel about him passed away:( . When I saw that announcement , i thought it was fake just like back then. I can't believe he's gone on my grandfather’s birthday (my mother’s side) 2024 is not a good year for me sorry.
My deepest condolences to them. Thank you for the wonderful music with your brother, Michael Jackson you are now with him and Brandon (Marlon’s late twin brother)
October 15, 1953 -September 15, 2024

Girl.... Imma need all the tea abt Michael's brothers being leaches.
I do remember that one of them said that there wouldn't be no Michael Jackson without Jackson 5. BFFR. omg.
Just look at Spotify monthly listeners. I tend to compare artists who debuted at the same time and if they are still alive or not.
Marlon Jackson: 945
Jackie Jackson: 1'180
Tito Jackson: 15'148
Jermaine Jackson: 771'648
The Jacksons: 2'862'021
The Jackson 5: 8'607'046
Michael Jackson: 43'067'506
I know Spotify listeners aren't everything in terms of success or talent. Just look how Selena Gomez supposedly has more than Beyonce. But here I mean the gap is huge.
And the fact they NEEDED him for the Victory Tour otherwise no one would have showed up.
...Anon, I'm gonna be honest here, I completely forgot Jermaine wasn't the only of MJ's brothers to try and have his own solo career. And it says a lot that even though he was the most sucessful of MJ's brothers, he was nowhere near as relevant as he wanted to be - let alone as relevant as Michael.
Also, I know that showbusiness is cruel, especially to child stars, and the music industry is super unfair and buries really talented artists while promoting others that are not even good - but lets not kid ourselves here.
Like you said, the very fact that they had to drag him into that tour to make it relevant already says a lot - but there's even more to that. Michael decided, on his own, that this was going to be the LAST tour, and announced it at the last concert, without discussing it with anyone. He didn't just quit, he essentially ended the group.
They tried to carry on without him a few years later, and it went nowhere because nobody cared about them if Michael wasn't there. Meanwhile, he had random dancers/back-up singers stand in for his brothers whenever he'd ocasionally perform "his" old songs, and nobody except their mom ever complained. I strongly suspect some people didn't even notice - first time I watched some of the performances of the Bad Era, I sure didn't.
They had a reunion in 2001 - in some concerts to celebrate MICHAEL's career, with a moment dedicated to some Jackson 5/the Jackson's hits. They tried for a reunion and their own TV show in 2009 - the same time Michael's final tour was supposed to happen. When Michael died, all the interest in the projects of his brother's died too, with their proper reunion only happening a few years later... in a tribute to Michael.
But by far the biggest evidence that Michael didn't need them was Motown 25. He performed with his brothers, and even though he was obviously the star, they were still great, truly fucking awesome, you can clearly tell they are all giving it all their talent and energy.
Then he performed Billie Jean and did the moonwalk without a breaking a sweat and it was like his brothers never existed. Their big moment was Michael's warm up, and his big moment had him on stage by himself, singing the biggest hit of his SOLO career, overshadowing everything that came before it.
The only one of his siblings that ever managed to not be in his shadow was Janet. And even then, despite being HUGE, she was not KING OF POP huge. Probably because literally nobody else, before or since, could do what Michael did.
For fuck's sake, look at "We Are The World." Pretty much every famous singer of the decade was there, every single one of them giving it their all - and Michael is still clearly the star, because he wasn't just better than his siblings, he was better than everybody.
And I think that's the reason why his brothers never fully let go of all their envy. Pretty much everyone in that family exploited Michael for his money/relevance, but since his brothers were once his bandmates, they felt full on entitled towards not just Michael's money, but his career in general - because their time as a band was the most sucess they were ever gonna achieve, but it was quickly becoming just "Michael Jackson's early years, when he was not as famous as he is right now, but was already way more famous than his brothers will ever be." They were dependent on him, and were now being told "No, he won't let you all tag along forever."
Hence them demanding to be part of "Off The Wall" and getting mad when Michael didn't let them, making him tour with them singing the band's biggest hits instead of doing a tour for Thriller, fucking raiding his house for valluable stuff, using his money to buy mansions for themselves and raise their kids/pay child support, claiming that if things had been just slightly different their own solo careers totally could have been just as big as Michael's, etc.
It wasn't just that their sibling slowly became way better than them and eventually didn't need them to be sucessful. Michael NEVER needed them. He was always the star, the one people were more interested in, the one with the most talent, and eventually he realized that, if he continued letting his family pressure him into ignoring his own goals and focused on "paying his debt to his siblings (and father)" he was at best going to be held back forever so his brother's could stay relevant at his expense, and at worst he'd ruin his own career completely just so they could all fail together and his brother's egos would be spared.
Again, see how HE basically ended the band (or at least the version the public actually cared about). To them, it wasn't Michael going solo, it was him kicking them out. Like they would have TOTALLY made Thriller with him, or could have each done it on their own. Like his solo works are theirs by extention just because they used to do things as a group, and therefore they deserve the profit and the credit for something they were not involved in.
Joseph, of course, did not fucking help make the situation any better. I already mentioned all the physical abuse he put his children through during reharsals, but there's one more thing: he'd sometimes deliberately compare his other sons to Michael when they made a mistake while dancing or singing, to make them feel worse about themselves for not being as good as their brother. OBVIOUSLY that led to a ton of misplaced resentment towards their sibling for them, and to Michael feeling guilty about something that wasn't his fault.
Joseph is also the person who taught them their very warped idea of "family." He had always said that family was the most important thing in the world - because he was one of these parents who believed that, since he was responsible for them being alive, they owed him literally EVERYTHING and thus had to put up with EVERYTHING.
He wanted to beat them with a belt whenever they did anything wrong? They should just shut up and endure it, it's just discipline, and they wouldn't be going through that if they could just do what they're told.
He wants to control their careers, have "his share" of their money, and then use said money to cheat on their mother? Doesn't matter, he is still the man of the house if he's not the one making the money, and thus they owe him respect and shouldn't meddle on what he does with his life.
Michael is clearly depressed about all the trauma he was put through and the childhood that was stolen from him? Oh please, he should be thankful that he was made to work like a dog for most of his life, it's the thing that has allowed the whole family to live not just comfortably, but luxuriously - with his money. That he totally only made because of Joseph, so they really don't owe anything to Michael.
It's really no surprise that, after being raised by that man, Michael's brothers turned out the way they did. Their complaints were "God, he told me to buy a smaller house since I can't afford a mansion instead of buying said mansion for me, the watch he gave me for my birthday is only worth ONE million dollars instead of two, and he will only let us do a medley of our Jackson 5 hits during his show, not tour with us again, how selfish!" meanwhile Michael was complaining that since everyone, including his own family, was only ever thinking of how being close to him would benefit their image/lead to them making money, he was incredibly lonely and miserable.
Nine times out of ten, Michael helped his family out of "obligation" - because that's what they turned their relationship into. A transaction, a contract. Michael "paying his debt" to people that cared about his money and fame so much that they often forgot he was a person that, even after all they did, STILL loved them.
But I guess "We are totally responsible for his sucess, and in fact could have totally been just as famous" is a much more pleasant version of the story than "We completely failed our brother, and we should thank God everyday that he never fully broke free of this AWFUL family, because otherwise we'd be broke and even more irrelevant."

OKAY OKAY SO SO IDK IF YOU KNOW OR NOT BUT EARLIER TODAY I WENT TO THE JACKSON FAMILY HOUSE IN GARY INDIANA!!!!!!!! I GOT TO GO TO MICHAEL FUCKING JACKSON'S CHILDHOOD HOME. I FUCKING LOVE HIM AND I"VE BEEN CRYING ALL DAY ABOUT IT. IT HAS LEGIT MADE MY ENTIRE LIFE AND DAY AND UGH. I'VE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY 😭😭😭😭
Michael Jackson is my number one idol. He is who and what got me into dancing and music in general. He is why I am so passionate about music and dancing as well. He is the soul reason on why I love both so much. I even have a Michael Jackson blanket, my grandma gifted it to me for Christmas last year and I SQUEALED so fucking hard and loud and ended up crying cause of it haha...... It's my favorite blanket I own, hell my favorite merch piece. He means the world to me. His music means the world to me.
When I was there at the Jackson house I left a feather for Tito (Michael's brother) since he passed away recently :( and for Michael I left a bandaid (put it on the fence) with writing on it and a penny for Michael himself. They turned it into a memorial for him and Tito, and honestly I haven't been right since Tito died, a huge part of me died hearing the news, I love all the Jacksons, except for their father and mother. Michael's music, Janet's music and the Jackson 5's music helped shaped me into the person I am today and raised me 😭
I remember being like 5 years old dancing to this Michael Jackson just dance game I have! Ahhhhg I miss it so much, (minus the fact the only memory I have of dancing to it was when CPS showed up at my house to talk to me in the middle of it..........). Michael's music has helped me through so much through my entire life and my god he is one of the sweetest, kindest, softest sweethearts in the whole entire world. I cried over his death as a kid and I still do, I hate that he passed :( like he just fills me with so much joy you know? His music (and his siblings music) fills me with so much joy and just makes me wanna dance and sing and jump around. His and their music makes me forget the world is even spinning.
Michael's song The Way You Make Me Feel is my number one favorite! I also really love Dirty Diana and They Don't Care About Us, and of course I have to love the classics like Smooth Criminal, Bad, Thriller and Black and White. His music is pure art and they all were filled with pure talent. I hate how much abuse they went through as kids, none of them deserved it what so ever.
Haha..... sorry...... one of my biggest likes and hyperfixations that will never leave me 🥲 OH OH AND I ALSO USED TO HAVE A GLOVE AND HAT I CALLED MY "Michael Jackson hat and glove" I always wore them until they ripped and had holes 😭
I'm so happy u got to see the house!!! I definitely have some singers/bands that have shaped me to who I am (jack off jill, ice house , ACDC, sex pistols, ect) and a lot of those people are the people that my parents listen to so not only are they're apart of me their also apart of my parents :3 I've never really gotten into Michael Jackson's music (other than thriller) but I'm so happy that it makes you that excited!!

Heartbroken & speechless about the sudden passing of Toriano Adarryl “Tito” Jackson, who was - along with his siblings - another huge part of my life's soundtrack.

Tito’s voice was often heard as the baritone of the Jackson 5, creating a foundation for their vocal harmonies. On stage he simultaneously sang, executed intricate dance steps, and played guitar. As the sole guitarist in live performances, Tito often adapted his playing to make his one single instrument cover the multiple guitar parts heard on studio recordings.
As a child, Tito used a guitar belonging to his father, Joseph Jackson, to practice playing the Blues. [After punishing him for breaking one of the strings] Tito's father gifted the guitar to him and told him to learn as many songs as he could. The family formed a performing group, the #Jackson5, with Tito and his brothers Michael, Jermaine, Marlon, and Jackie. Live performances by the group impressed Motown artists Bobby Taylor and Gladys Knight, who brought them to the attention of Berry Gordy.
After a filmed audition in July 1968, the group signed with #Motown, beginning their journey in Detroit. The Jackson 5 exploded onto the pop and R&B charts in 1969 with “I Want You Back.” Like many of the group’s earliest hits, the song was written by The Corporation, a group of Motown songwriters and producers. Diana Ross played a major role in The Jackson 5’s debut album, writing the liner notes and helping promote the group on national TV appearances.
Four hit releases followed over the next 11 months: “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” “The Love You Save,” and “I’ll Be There,” setting a record for the Jackson 5 as the first act to ever have their first four singles consecutively reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. They went on to have 17 top 10 hits with the Motown label and became cultural icons with multiple world tours, a cartoon series, and memorabilia. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, and three Jackson 5 singles have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Toriano Adaryll "Tito" Jackson (October 15, 1953 – September 15, 2024) was an American musician. He was a founding member of the Jackson 5 (later known as the Jacksons), who rose to fame in the late 1960s and 1970s with the Motown label and later had continued success with the group on the Epic label in the late 1970s and 1980s. Jackson began a solo career in 2003 performing as a blues musician. Throughout his career, he was nominated for three Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Jackson 5.
Jackson was born at St. Mary's Mercy Hospital in Gary, Indiana, on October 15, 1953.
He was the third of ten children of the Jackson family: Rebbie, Jackie, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Brandon, Michael, Randy, and Janet who lived in a two-bedroom house in Gary. His father, Joseph (July 26, 1928 – June 27, 2018), was a steel mill worker, and played R&B in a band, the Falcons, with his brother Luther. His mother, Katherine (May 4, 1930), is a Jehovah's Witness. She played the piano and the clarinet. At ten years of age, Tito was caught playing his father's guitar after he broke a string.
After fixing the string, Joe demanded that he play for him. Once he was finished, Joe bought him his own guitar, and convinced Tito, Jackie, and Jermaine to form a singing group. He was impressed with the vocals of Jackie and Jermaine.
By 1964, Marlon and Michael both joined the group the Jackson 5 after Katherine discovered that they could sing. Katherine is a country-and-western fan, and she sang harmonies with her sons. Before Motown signed them, the brothers spent years rehearsing at home. After school they rehearsed for hours, played a gig, did homework, and went to bed.
The group signed with Steeltown Records in Gary in November of that year. In January 1968, the Jackson Five's first single, "Big Boy", was released on the Steeltown label.
In 1969, The Jackson 5 signed with Motown Records in Detroit, and scored several hit songs, including their number-one singles "I Want You Back", "ABC", "The Love You Save", and "I'll Be There", but despite his talent as a guitar player, Motown refused to allow Jackson to perform guitar on any of the Jackson 5 recording sessions, instead forcing all their guitar parts to be performed by session musicians.
As a direct result, his guitar work did not make its debut until he and the Jacksons left Motown for CBS Records in 1976.
He began writing songs with his brothers during this time. Tito and Jackie Jackson were the most consistently present members of the Jacksons, with Jermaine, Marlon, Michael, and Randy leaving at different times.
After the end of the Victory Tour, Jackson performed session work and as a record producer. After releasing 2300 Jackson Street, the Jacksons ceased recording work. Jackson was inducted with his brothers into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
In 2001, Jackson reunited with his brothers on Michael Jackson's 30th anniversary concert special at Madison Square Garden.
Jackson began a solo career in 2003 performing as a bluesian in various clubs with his band, which included producer and guitarist Angelo Earl, and a management team that included Ed Tate.[11] In 2007, in the United Kingdom, Jackson appeared as a judge on the BBC celebrity singing competition Just the Two of Us for series two of the show. He replaced singer Lulu, who was a judge on series one. His co-judges were vocal coach CeCe Sammy, musician Stewart Copeland, and radio DJ Trevor Nelson.
In 2009, he was the executive producer of The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty, together with his brothers after Michael died.
In 2016, he had his first commercially successful solo single on the Billboard charts with the single, "Get It Baby", featuring Big Daddy Kane from his album Tito Time becoming the ninth and final Jackson family sibling to place a solo single on the charts.
The album was released in Japan late in 2016, and in the U.S on iTunes in April 2017. Subsequent to its' launch, three singles were released to radio in the United States. The first single, "When the Magic Happens", featuring Jocelyn Brown, was released on April 1, 2017. Jackson launched the album for the UK market in September 2017.
Jackson performed at the 2019 Living Legends foundation's (LLF) Annual Awards Dinner and Gala, performing his single "One Way Street" off his album Tito Time. "One Way Street" features a remix from producer Gregg Pagani, who has worked with Charlie Wilson and Johnny Gill.
On July 9, 2021, Jackson released the first single "Love One Another" from his second solo album "Under Your Spell", released August 6.
The single features his brother Marlon Jackson, Kenny Neal, Bobby Rush, and Stevie Wonder. On this album he turned to blues compared to his debut album, Tito Time, which explored more pop and R&B sounds. The album "Under Your Spell" also features collaborations with George Benson, rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa, Grady Champion, Claudette King, The O'Jay's Eddie Levert, and Steven Powell.
On September 16, 2022, Jackson took the stage at Ground Zero Blues Club in Biloxi, Mississippi together with Kenny Neal. This was their second show from their "Straight From The Heart Tour". First show was on August 27 at Winston–Salem Fairgrounds Annex in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.Third show was on September 23, in Bogalusa, Louisiana at the Bogalusa Blues and Heritage Festival.
On March 17, 2023, Jackson teamed up with Brazilian artist Natalia Damini bringing the Motown and the early Jacksons feel back with a new song "Attitude", and a music video. This collaboration came to be because Jackson's long time friend Charve the Don is also Damini's manager.
In June 1972, Jackson married Delores "Dee Dee" Martes at the age of 18, and the couple divorced in 1988.
In 1994, Martes was found dead floating in a swimming pool. The death was originally ruled accidental. Later, Los Angeles businessman Donald Bohana was charged with and, in 1998, found guilty of second-degree murder.
The couple had three sons—Taj (born 1973), Taryll (born 1975), and TJ (born 1978)—who comprise the R&B/pop group 3T. Jackson had nine grandchildren.
Michael Jackson's memorial service was held at the Staples Center on July 7, 2009, in Los Angeles. To honor him, Tito and his brothers Marlon, Jackie, Jermaine, and Randy Jackson served as pallbearers, each wearing a single spangled white glove and sunglasses.
On the 12th anniversary of Michael's death, Jackson told Manchester Evening News that he turned to Michael's music in remembrance of his brother. In the 2021 interview, Jackson said that because of his brother's death, the month of June is difficult to deal with. He also defended his brother from allegations levied against him.
On September 15, 2024, Jackson suffered a heart attack and died at the age of 70 in Gallup, New Mexico. Jackson was on a road trip with his business partner Terry Harvey to transport Jackson's antique cars from California to his new residence in Claremore, Oklahoma when he began sweating and complaining of chest pains.
Gallup police stated they were alerted to Jackson being in need of medical attention near a mall before he was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Remembering Tito Jackson 1953-2024
Sad news that singer / songwriter / musician Tito Jackson has died at 70. He was a founding member of The Jackson 5 with his brothers. He was the third of ten Jackson children. I know everyone talks about Michael Jackson when they talk about The Jackson 5, but the group as a whole had a ton of great pop songs. I discovered them as a kid when I saw re-runs of their animated TV series (initial run was ABC 1971-1972). Tito was voiced by another actor, but he was a main character on it and it featured their music (similar to The Beatles cartoon series).
Tumblr media
the animated Jackson 5 with Tito far right (guitar in hand)
In addition to vocals, Tito played guitar and synthesizer in The Jackson 5 and he was in every lineup of the group including their evolution to The Jacksons. So many classic hits like "I Want You Back", "ABC", "Can You Feel It", "State of Shock" with Mick Jagger, and "Torture". In 1984, The Jacksons went on the Victory Tour, which I wanted to go to, but it was sold out :( The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. After going on hiatus in 1989, they reunited in 2001 and then again in 2012 and have been touring and performing since then.

Tito and Michael Jackson (1958-2009) back in the day
Tito was the father of three sons who were members of the group 3T, who he mentored. Tito was also a solid blues guitarist and even played in the B.B. King Blues Band. Like his siblings, he also took part in USA for Africa's "We are the World".

“With heavy hearts”: Tito Jackson died at 70
Tito Jackson, original member of The Jackson 5 and brother of Michael Jackson, died at the age of 70, according to Sky News.
In the 1970s, the band, featuring his siblings Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael, produced hits like ABC, I Want You Back, Blame It on The Boogie and I’ll Be There.
Tito handled backing vocals and played guitar. He was still touring with brothers Jackie and Marlon, performing at a UK festival on 8 September.
His death was announced “with heavy hearts” by his sons Taj, Taryll and TJ Jackson, who found fame in the band 3T in the 1990s.
We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their wellbeing. He will be missed tremendously. It will forever be ‘Tito Time’ for us. Please remember to do what our father always preached and that is ‘Love One Another.’ We love you Pops.
The Jackson 5 formed in Indiana in 1964, with their father Joe Jackson as the band’s manager. They gained popularity after releasing four consecutive number one singles in the US.
This was followed by four studio albums and around 150 million sales worldwide. In 1997, the band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Their success gave Michael Jackson a launching pad to embark on a solo career. He left the band in 1984 after the huge success of the album Thriller.
Tito performed in the UK with The Jacksons on 8 September at the Boogietown Festival in Surrey. Their last performance took place in Munich, Germany, on last Tuesday, 10 September.
Before our show in Munich, my brothers Jackie, Marlon, and I, visited the beautiful memorial dedicated to our beloved brother, Michael Jackson. We’re deeply grateful for this special place that honors not only his memory but also our shared legacy. Thank you for keeping his spirit alive.

According to Entertainment Tonight (who was first to report the news), Jackson died on Sunday, Sept. 15 after suffering an apparent heart attack. Leading up to his death, Tito had been performing with brothers Jackie Jackson and Marlon Jackson as The Jacksons, and had shows in Scotland, California and England over summer 2024. They performed as recently as Sept. 8 in Surrey, England, and had appearances set for Oct. 25 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Nov. 1 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Just earlier this week, while Tito was in Munich, Germany, with The Jacksons, the brothers “visited the beautiful memorial dedicated to our beloved brother, Michael Jackson,” Tito wrote on Facebook. “We’re deeply grateful for this special place that honors not only his memory but also our shared legacy. Thank you for keeping his spirit alive.” Tito was an original member of The Jackson 5, which also featured Michael, Jackie, Jermaine Jackson and Marlon (and, later, Randy Jackson). The family pop group had hit songs with “I Want You Back,” “ABC” and “I’ll Be There,” throughout the ’70s. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and was also honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Tito, Jackie, Michael, Jermaine and Marlon Jackson of Jackson 5. I’d been playin’ the Jackson 5 stuff for all my life practically, but the blues had been the main music in my family. I just wanted to jam, but I couldn’t get no pros to do that kinda thing.” Marlon, Tito, Jackie and Janet Jackson in 2008. In the song description on YouTube, Tito said that the track was recorded in the wake of the pandemic and noted his “aim was to convey a message of love, unity, and peace, offering a balm for troubled times.” “It’s a call for people to join hands, embrace love, and exhibit kindness to one another, drawing inspiration from the enduring legacy of the Jackson Family,” said Tito. “Through my music, I’m dedicated to spreading a positive message of harmony and togetherness.” Members of the Jackson family appear in the music video, as well as celebrities like Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian. Family Time
"Baby put some clothes on." Michael yelled.
"Why?"
"Because today is the day you meet my parents."
"I don't wanna go."
"But you are."
"Fine."
You walked out the door and got in the car with Michael.
"Are you nervous?"
"Yeah."
"Don't be. Mom's going to love you."
You get to his parents house. He knock on the door and he holds your waist. He kisses the side of your head. His mom answers the door.
"Michael this must be your girlfriend that you talk so much about."
"He talks about me?"
"Yeah all the time."
Michael takes your hand and walks you inside. You find all his siblings at the table.
"Babe, meet Jackie, Marlon, Tito, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie, La'Toya, Janet, always save the best for last."
"Hi everyone." You said shyly.
"You and Michael are a perfect match." Janet said.
"Thanks." You said and blushed deeply and hid your head in the crook of his neck.
You walk to the table and sit down and you were next to Joe Jackson.
"Hi." You said shyly.
"Who gave you permission to talk to me?"
"Sorry Mr. Jackson."
"Joe leave her alone." Michael says.
"What did you tell me boy?" Joe asks Michael as he gets up out his chair.
"I said leave her alone." Michael says back getting in the face of his father.
"Boy don't try to show off cuz your little pussy girlfriend is here."
"First off she is not a pussy and secondly she didn't know okay so leave her the fuck alone Joe."
Joe swings his fist at Michael and he stumbles backwards a little and then he hits the wall. He falls as you run over to him and you take off your jacket and start to dab it against the open wound on the side of his head.
Joe pushes you off of him and Michael jumps on Joe.
"NO ONE TOUCHES MY BABYGIRL!" He says as his fists launch at his dad.
You walk over to Michael and try to pull him off of his dad.
"Baby please its not worth it. I'm not worth it."
Michael instantly stops.
"What do you mean?"
"I think he's right I don't deserve you."
"No its me who doesn't deserve you."
"Mic..."
"JOE SHUT UP."
"Baby girl there is nothing I want in the whole white world is to marry you."
"You love me that much?"
"I love you more than that."
You walk over in front of him.
"Come here girl." He says as he pulls you into his arms and wraps his arms around your shoulders, yours around his waist and he slowly leans down and pecks your lips and then kisses your lips and your cheeks as he leans his forehead against yours.
"I love you and I wouldn't trade it for anything." he tells you.
"I love you to." You say as you pull him down by his neck and kiss him again.
"Now let me clean this wound."
"Fine."

Jermaine Jackson - Do What You Do  Paulo Debarge4 min  · Compartilhado com PúblicoHAPPY BIRTHDAY for Jermaine La Juane Jackson (born December 11, 1954) is an American singer, bass guitarist, composer, and occasional film director. He is known for being a member of The Jackson 5. He also produced and recorded duets with American singer Whitney Houston in her early years as a recording artist and was a producer for Bobby DeBarge’s band Switch. He is the fourth child of the Jackson family.Early lifeJackson was born December 11, 1954 in Gary, Indiana, after his brother Tito Jackson. He is the fourth child born to Joseph and Katherine Jackson. His siblings are Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, La Toya, Marlon, Michael, Randy, and Janet. His father Joseph had musical aspirations, playing guitar with his brother’s band, The Falcons, and Katherine was a passionate pianist and singer. But their large family and lack of money ended their dreams with Katherine becoming a housewife, and Joseph, a steel worker at nearby Inland Steel Company in East Chicago, Indiana (his parents lived there before they moved to Gary in 1950).While his father worked long hours as a crane operator, Jermaine and his brothers, Tito and Jackie, secretly practiced their own songs using their father’s guitar.Jermaine became the original lead singer of the Jackson Brothers—an earlier incarnation of The Jackson Five—until 1966, when younger brother Michael began singing lead. Jermaine would continue to provide some leads over the years. Jermaine graduated from Birmingham High School in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California in 1973.CareerThe Jackson 5Jermaine and his brothers first signed as The Jackson Five with Gordon Keith of Steeltown Records in November 1967, and their first single Big Boy, was released on January 31, 1968. After the group recorded three more songs with the Steeltown label (on two records) they were signed with Berry Gordy of Motown Records in 1968 and 1969. As the co-lead singer of The Jackson 5 after his brother Michael, Jermaine sang notable parts of “I Want You Back”, “I’ll Be There”, “The Love You Save”,“Dancing Machine”, and many other Jackson 5 songs. Jermaine performed as part of the group for six years. Not feeling that they were being paid fair royalties by Motown Records for their success as well as their desire for creative control, the Jackson 5 decided to leave the label and sign with Epic Records in 1975. However, Jeremaine decided to stay with Motown Records, citing loyalty to the company as the reason. Others argue that Jermaine’s marriage to Motown founder Berry Gordy’s daughter Hazel, whom he married in 1973, was the reason. Jermaine split from the Jackson 5 to start a solo career at Motown, and was replaced by his brother Randy Jackson. Unbeknownst to the group, Gordy had trademarked the name The Jackson Five and did not allow the group to continue using the name when they left the label. Once signed with Epic, the group became known as The Jacksons. Several years later, in 1983, Gordy asked the group to perform at the Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever television special. After the success of the broadcast, Jermaine rejoined the band to record the album Victory which featured all six brothers on The Jackson’s album cover. Jermaine also participated in the band’s Victory Tour. He stayed with the group for their final album, 2300 Jackson Street, in 1989. In 2001, he reunited with his brothers to perform for the 30th Anniversary Special.Solo careerLike Michael, Jermaine began a solo career while still a member of The Jackson 5, and had a hit with the 1972 Shep and the Limelites cover “Daddy’s Home”. It sold over one million copies by March 1973, and was awarded a gold disc. When The Jackson 5 left Motown, Jermaine left the group and stayed at Motown.Jermaine was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for his 1980 album Let’s Get Serious. He had a number of Billboard Top 30 hits throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including “Daddy’s Home” (#9), “That’s How Love Goes”, “Let’s Be Young Tonight”, “Bass Odyssey”, “Feel the Fire”, “Let Me Tickle Your Fancy” (featuring Devo on backing vocals) (#18), “Let’s Get Serious” (#9, also one of his only two UK hits, peaking at #8), “Dynamite” (#15), “Do What You Do” (#13), and “I Think It’s Love” (#16). A duet with his brother Michael, “Tell Me I’m Not Dreamin’ (Too Good to Be True)”, hit No. 1 on the dance chart in 1984. He and Michael also collaborated with Rockwell, both providing guest vocals on his 1984 hit single, “Somebody’s Watching Me”. In 1985, his duet with Pia Zadora, “When the Rain Begins to Fall”, topped several singles charts in Europe. His final chart success, 1989’s “Don’t Take It Personal”, hit (#1) on the R&B singles chart. Some of Jermaine’s finest moments as a singer can be heard in the soulful “Castle of Sand” and the Earth Wind & Fire-inspired “You Need To Be Loved”.Jackson is proficient on the electric guitar and is a talented bass guitar player.
