Dude the missing Titan submarine thing is fucking crazy. I'm really worried but don't know what I'd trigger tag it as so I'm just putting my anxieties about this under the cut so you don't have to see it if you don't want to

Like the more I think about it the more I worry because SURE they've got roughly enough oxygen to last until Friday as a deadline to find them, but also (as far as I know from the articles I've read so far, info could always change) this was slotted to be the only expedition of 2023 because weather conditions were getting really fuckin rough, so who knows if that will cause complications, right? And also the deepest underwater rescue mission on record so far was at roughly 1,575 feet deep- THE TITANIC SITS NEARLY 13,000 FEET DEEP IN THE ATLANTIC, AND THE SUBMARINE WAS ALREADY LIKE 2/3 OF THE WAY DOWN BEFORE THEY LOST CONTACT. So not only do they have to take the time to find everybody in the first place, they have to have the equipment to bring them back up to the surface with them, from thousands upon thousands of feet deeper than any other rescue mission in history! But also!!! They were heading for the Titanic!!!!! The Titanic is already fucking crumbling to dust as we speak!!!! The Captain's Cabin collapsed not long ago!!!! If the Titan hit the Titanic going down that'd be 23,000 pounds of steel slamming into a hull that's been eaten alive at for 111 years, who knows what kind of damage that could do to both the ship and the submersible!!!! What the fuck would they do to get them out if they caused a cave-in there???? Okay I know them actually HITTING the Titanic is not very likely and I am hoping it didn't but like I said above the cut these are just anxieties and worries I'm aware that everything will probably be fine but the whole situation terrifies me y'know???
