Story of Frill being brought back is something that has been hiding in my folders for several years unfinished. I’m still not quite happy with it, but I guess it’s time to accept it and move on to something else. 

Frill is my DnD character. A skeleton bard with a lot of package to carry on his bony shoulders.

actually i’m still thinking about it who else is doing d&d like cody walsh. he’s an ex-mall goth he swears his life and soul to every cool person he sees he's convinced he’s cloud strife he keeps accidentally stabbing himself with his own sword. he’s marrying a demon puppet chimera abomination to save the timeline because he reminded him of jack skellington he’s facing down the demon king of nightmares and he’s just nearly killed himself with his own sword again. and all he can think about is his broken fucking moped

deeply fascinated by these kids living in a peaceful suburbia on a seemingly equally peaceful planet, which is surrounded by something called the barrier, which makes the night sky look green and is thick enough that it obscures the stars, and so when they get up to space and see how many stars there are, they have no idea space actually looked like that. and then they travel through hyperspace for the first time and it understandably freaks them the fuck out. there is definitely something weird about this planet they live on, and i am all for the real horror story being this suburban bubble they live in that wants to shield its citizens from the wider galaxy.
