hey guys, i know you all want updates to my bakery enemies comic! i AM still going to finish it, i have NOT given up on it, and i'm sorry this hiatus has been so much longer than i anticipated. getting the second wind i need to work on it can be kind of tough (especially since we're in the final stretch, so when i start working on it again i want to make it all the way to the FINISH), but it is still absolutely in development!

anyway, this is also to say, you don't need to tell me you want updates. I know you do, and I can't give a clear answer as to when the next update will be, because i'm not sure when that inspiration will strike... but... if you're going to ask for updates, please don't do it on my other works. It's kind of disheartening to have comments on a new, unrelated work say "but what about beau?". If you want to ask about beau, at least ask it on a beau-related post, please!

Love the thought of Leo just casually being well traveled to absurd degrees. Like one day they’re facing their new Big Bad of the year and like, Draxum or whoever says that the key to their fight is located somewhere in, like, Latvia or some place, but no one knows where to start.

Then Leo’s like “oh I know a place” and when asked how the heck he could know of one it smash cuts to Leo falling through the ceiling of said place due to a portal mishap.

Also love the idea of Leo, being as accidentally (and then later, purposefully) well traveled as he is, sometimes taking his family on outings to different places all over, maybe to some new Yokai spots he found along the way.

In these places, Leo 100% lets his bros get scammed by tourist traps.

Ugh, this is the Lestat I fell for when I first read TVL. This earnest, open-hearted guy who only wants to be good and do good, who wants to learn, grasping at any little bit of kindness he can find. Trying so damn hard to be seen and loved. Who continuously has it all ripped away just as he gets within reach. It's so tragic. What was endearing becomes twisted and toxic until much later and after those in his circle have suffered so much. You just want him to be able to hold on to that bit of himself, to do better, but he can't entirely and survive as what he's become. And he's a survivor for better or worse.

i know i was just on here two days ago trying to put epic fans onto paris the musical (which, if you havent, GET ON IT) but also if you enjoy silly funny musicals you should check out penelope off broadway (aka penelope, or how the odyssey was really written). the thunder saga broke your heart but fear not i offer you silly shenanigans and odysseus having a silly duet with his son! in this the plot is that The Odyssey, the epic poem, actually comes from penelope faking letters from odysseus telling her he's still on his way but getting absurdly held up in order to stall the suitors instead of her loom scheme. it has a happy ending and its sooo cute GO LISTEN
