I find it so funny that Jason knows the kind of power he holds over Bruce calling him "dad". Like normally everyone else calls him "dad" from time to time, but Jason refuses to call him "dad", except for when it comes to distracting him or for blackmail reasons.
Like him helping Tim or Damian sneak in after having a date. And they just call him in the middle of the night to distract Bruce from them sneaking into the house past curfew.
Bruce: What are you doing here?
Jason: I might've, kinda, missed you.
Bruce, tired of this crap: I don't believe you.
Jason: I can't miss my dad. That's low, Bruce.
Bruce, with literal tears in his eyes: You called me "dad".
Jason, pretending that it accidentally slipped out: What? No, I didn't.
Bruce, hugging the hell out of Jason: Welcome home, son.

Love the mother daughter pair, but not gonna lie, fascinated by the thought of bruce blackmailing reader, and then having to properly try and woo her back essentially. If he really wants a seemingly loving family, he has to know he needs to coax his wife and the mother of his daughter into a better mood and viewpoint. No matter how much blackmail he has, she can start gaining just as much now that she's in his life, and I doubt the daughter will start trusting him properly with the tension between him and her mother. How would bruce coax the mother back? And would Talia actually have an easier time establishing a connection? Could see Bruce feeling jealous of Talia if that was the case. Idk just the tangent my mind ran on, even if that's not the case still love the work
Yandere Batfam w/ Wife/Mother!Darling & Daughter/Sister!Darling Masterlist
The blackmail is practically all there is he does that truly hurts him, and that’s only if she does not agree to his proposal when states his intent of gaining custody of their daughter. But after that comes to pass everything would be perfect for a normal couple, news about their engagement spreads like fire, and the wedding will probably be the social event of the century given how they were engaged once before and now it’s back on. The most perfect white wedding and Bruce treating his darling like the perfect husband.
Their daughter does not know the details of what happened, one moment it’s her and her mama having a perfect life together, traveling the world and being each other’s best friend, and then the next all of that is over, her father is back in her mother’s life and now she has siblings and none of them feel like the family she had with her mama, it feels suffocating and her mama doesn’t seem as bright as she once did.She clings to her mama every single day and is only separated when her attention is dragged away forcefully from her daughter and one of her brothers of father comes right to the littlest one’s side.
His wife does not push any of them away, she lets her husband hold her in the morning hours when they have just woken up and press kisses onto her face, she lets Dick call her mom as he runs up to hug her, she lets Jason help her daughter with her homework even though she asked her for help, she lets Tim take her daughter out to the park even if it’s their mother-daughter day they have, or used to have, every week, she lets Damian sit down by her and lay against her while she reads to her daughter. She will never be happy but she will fake it, she does not want to make a scene and have her daughter see and realize something is wrong and do something herself. She wants her daughter to be happy and have a future, go to university, leave Gotham and go back to what is left of the life they had, parents make sacrifices for their children and she is willing to do everything for her. She plays the game of pretend, acts like the perfect wife and mother and stepmother, stays calm and bites back all the internal rage she has building up inside her.
Honestly it is after every she has been through just for her daughter’s sake is when Talia starts to think a bit more highly of her, she understands the strength it takes to make sacrifices for one’s child. She also knows how possessive and protective they all are of her and her daughter, so meeting her discreetly is the best option. Like at a charity gala and someone accidentally spills something on her dress and has to go to the bathroom to clean up and-
“Hello again.”
She nearly screamed when she turned on the bathroom light and saw Talia’s reflection in the mirror. Talia helps her clean up and change into a new dress all while talking to her about what she has found out. She went from viewing her as Bruce’s house pet, because it was clear their marriage was not equal, to seeing a mother who is willing to sacrifice and do whatever it takes to take care of her daughter.
But it is during this the question arises and the answer is terrifying…
“What are you going to do if your daughter is just as trapped as you are? What if all you did for her was in vein?”
“I-I….”
“You are far too soft, you will never get what you desire for your daughter while you stay docile, playing the role of a perfect housewife, a house pet…”
“Talia…”
“I should be off now, but do take care of my Damian, he adores you as his stepmother.”
She leaves her alone in the bathroom and she just cries, feeling like a failure of a mother and she she can barely look her daughter in the eye again.
She just lays awake at night with the thoughts of the life she grew up with, she had a golden childhood and all she wanted was that happiness for her own daughter.
After that there is no chance of anyone winning her over, but she will not act out either, she just feels dead inside, like a complete failure of a mother. Her daughter clearly notices something is wrong and while her mother will stay perfectly compliant, her daughter is a completely different story.
The moment she sees her mom loose that shine in her eyes like she had when raising her on her own she knows this is all of their faults, they took her and her mom away from their life they loved and now there is nothing left of the mother who used to teach her to dance at parties, or attend her piano recitals and sat in the front row to applaud the loudest and despite the busy schedule of meetings she had she never missed one, or when her mom who could not help but boast about her daughter’s latest achievements…
Remember she is still her father’s daughter and has a level of determination that should not be tired under pressure.

Heyyy, me again!
I got homework due so this'll not be as long as some other asks-
Damian (or Tim), post some pictures/drawings of Batman on their socials, then have to deal w/ people in their dms being weird about it (aka thirsting over the drawing).
If you go w/ Damian, I think he'd take it as an insult to his father's dignity lmao.
Tim had taken hundreds of pictures of Bruce. Thousands, quite honestly. Both in and out of the suit. He couldn't help it, even though now he no longer needed it for evidence. Bruce was just... he was just so photogenic. In possibly the worst way ever. Tim just couldn't help himself. He needed to take pictures. And Bruce was.. well he was just always there. And Tim... he wanted to capture their moments, wanted to be able to look back on their time together.
He snapped pictures on patrol, when Bruce laughed at one of his jokes, head tilted back, eyes closed, fully relaxed and trusting Tim to have his back, almost like he was savoring the laugh.
He snapped pictures at home, when Bruce was collapsed on the couch, when he was hunched over a case, when he was hugging Dick, or Jason, or fixing Damian's tie, or helping him with homework, or twirling Steph and Cass in a circle, or slow dancing with Selina, or dancing with Babs, holding her up so she could feel like she was standing again.
He snapped pictures during meetings and during calls, during fights and during calm, from close and from afar, with other people or alone... and he never shared them with anyone. Not really. Sometimes, he would pull out one or two pictures as blackmail, show them off. Other times he would use them as proof against Jason, or Dick.
But this one... this picture Tim felt the need to share. It wasn't... anything extraordinary. Not really. It was just Bruce. A side profile. Leaning over the edge of a roof, one leg propped up, his arm resting on it, staring off across Gotham. The gargoyles that framed him on either side were like guards, and the sunlight just peeking over the horizon offered a calm, peaceful look. A protective look.
The Guardian and his People Tim titled the photo, and before he could stop himself, posted it. The replies... exploded. Sweet messages, suspicious messages, loving, hating.... but mostly... horny. Tim was disgusted. It was... revolting the things people said.
Dick found the picture and framed it in his room in Bludhaven, though Tim knew he didn't tell Bruce. Jason liked it. Steph, surprisingly, didn't insult it, and saved it. Cass obviously liked it. Damian started drawing it. It was... nice. Sure, people wanted to fuck his father in ways that were... not ethical. But to those others... to him, to his family. It was Bruce that mattered. Tim closed the comments but left the picture. um idk what that was lemme try again
Damian didn't know what he expected, quite honestly. Screams were not uncommon in Wayne Manor. Everyone had their demons. Everyone had their issues.
But these screams... these were dark, guttural. Tortured. A horror Damian had never heard before. It chilled him to his very bones and against his better judgement... he crept out the door, heading for the room responsible. He was shocked when he realized it was coming from his fathers room.
He pushed the door open slowly, just seconds after the screams cut off. Father was awake. Damian stilled, quiet in the doorway, curious despite his survival instincts screaming for him to run. Bruce was kneeling on his bed, his black sheets pooled around his legs, naked from the waist up. His arms were flexed, laying on top of his thighs, and darkness poured from behind him, shadows curling around his body, paler than the moonlight. His eyes were closed, head drooped. Dark, black hair falling across his face. The words jumped to his mind, the painting already forming.
The Fallen Prince. Damian bowed his head, backing up slowly, but the words would not leave his mind. The Fallen Prince. Beautiful. Alone. Deadly.
He finished the painting the same day and couldn't just handle seeing it alone. Frantic, he grabbed his phone, logging onto his secret account that no one in the family followed, and snapped a picture, posting it.
The replies were instantaneous. "he can fall on me." "We can be alone together" "that dark spot underneath him..." "he can kneel on me." Damian deleted the post the next day, and never spoke of it again. But the painting still remained, buried in the back of his closet, illuminated faintly every time he moved his clothes aside. The Fallen Prince.
ugh okay idk what it is about this prompt but idk i cannot get it right! sry this one just aint working for me, hope you still enjoyed the stories tho, tho they aint correct... idk what it is but my fingers just cant write it properly 🤷‍♀️sry

5. A Familiar Blackmail Moment
It’s during a chase through Gotham that it happens. Most of them are focused on locating the robber of multiple dangerous weapons when there are suddenly two yells over the coms, before a storm of cursing starts up.
“Nightwing, Red Hood, report,” Bruce demands anxiously.
“We’re fine, Dickface just fucking entangled us on the grapplers, like a fucking Dickhead idiot, stupid asshole,” Jason curses.
Dick immediately defends himself: “This was so not my fault, Little Wing. You’re rusty with yours and being mean about it.”
“Don’t you fucking dare put this on me. You bumped into me,” Jason hisses.
“You didn’t check your six properly,” Dick protests.
“I swear you need to shut the fuck up, right now. I have knives and I’m near all your sensitive parts,” Jason threatens.
“Oh my god, are you two tied to each other with your own grapplers?” Steph asks, sounding delighted at the idea. “O, please say you have a visual on that.”
Barbara chuckles: “Oh, I definitely have a visual on that. They’re properly tangled and stuck. I’m getting a video of them dangling there to use later.”
“You have to show me that,” Steph says.
“Of course.”
“It’s not fucking funny,” Jason complains. “I don’t wanna get blackmailed for shit Dickface did. I refuse.”
“For the last time, it’s your fault we’re in this mess,” Dick shoots back. “I’ve been grappling all over non-stop, you haven’t. It’s okay to be rusty, but don’t start pushing this on me.”
Before Jason can give what would have probably been a scathing reply to that, they’re interrupted by a snort. Tim says: “I find it hard to believe Hood caused that when you got B tangled even in your later Robin years.”
It’s quiet for a second, then there’s chaos on the coms.
“Oh, yeah, I remember that,” Barbara comments, as Steph says: “Wait, you’re saying that Bats and Nightwing as Robin did a fish on a hook impersonation? Please tell me you captured that, stalker boy.”
Dick is whining: “Shut up,” as Damian says: “Yes, I refuse to believe this sort of slander.”
“Slander. Slander?” Jason shrieks. “Golden boy here is pinning his shit on me, that’s fucking slander. I can’t believe you, you know. How fucking dare you.”
“No chatter on the coms,” Bruce tiredly reminds them, something he often forgoes, because they have never listened once in their lives. He has already decided to make a strategic withdrawal when they turn against him, happy to have at least diverted the conversation again.
“Oh, now you’re picking his side, huh? When it’s your dignity on the line as well, I see how it is,” Jason bitches. “Creepy McCreeperson, make sure you find those stalker pics you took so I can defend my honor when this asshole tries pinning it on me again.”
“Not really inclined to help you when you’re calling me a creeper,” Tim deadpans.
“I’ll make you a coffee cake next time they put you on a caffeine ban,” Jason offers, obviously trying to sound enticing.
Dick admonishes: “Don’t bribe Red Robin with coffee. You know it’s for his own good and you know that we’re all above bri-”
“Deal,” Tim cuts him off.
“Hell yeah, you’re my favorite paparazzi stalker,” Jason cheers. “Now shut up, Dickface, and tell me how to get loose without plummeting, since you’ve obviously done this before.”
“I hate you both,” Dick complains, before he starts to explain.

Reverse Robins!
But specifically Stephanie and Tim (with a little Jason added when it's relevant).
Note: I'm of the opinion that in Reverse Robin AUs they wouldn't actually use Robin as their code name, but for convince and clarity's sake I will be using it here.
Damian is gone. He left in a blaze of anger. They'd fought before, but this time came with a finality Bruce doesn't known how to handle.
Batman is spiraling. Without Damian around there's no need to be Bruce Wayne, no reason not to follow one more lead before turning in. No young eyes looking to him to be an example. Nothing to keep him from beating the bad guys into a comma.
Tim Drake has been watching Bruce Wayne for awhile. He's been watching Batman for longer. He saw the turn, the way the Wayne Foundation is slowly being corrupted without Bruce's over site, and the more extreme injuries criminals are coming in with. He looks at Bruce Wayne and Batman, and the man behind them both and thinks "Yeah, I can fix that." Maybe it's teenage nativity, maybe it's a drive to do something good, maybe it's the need to be in control of something in his life. Whatever it is, he acts on it.
Bruce doesn't want to let Tim be Robin. Damian was his son, and a trained assassin, Tim is a random kid with no formal training. But Tim is a random kid who figured out his identity and is actively blackmailing him with it, so he doesn't have many options.
Batman and Robin are back together. Bruce Wayne is back in board meetings. The criminals are getting a lot less bruises. Robin is far more impressive than Batman ever would have guessed he could be. Tim is falling asleep in math class, but he already knows it all anyway so it's barely worth mentioning.
There's a new vigilante in Gotham. One who sets a dangerous precedent. It's one thing for Batman to have allies, it's another for outside agents to start taking matters into their own hands. Especially when they're untrained teenagers who are looking for personal vengeance.
He does everything he can to get Spoiler to quit. He tells himself it's not just about his personal dislike of her, it's for the sake of every other misguided kid who might try to follow her lead.
He fails.
The Joker attacks Robin. He doesn't kill him, he has a worse fate in mind. He takes Batman's prodigy and makes him his own. Tries to prove that even the Bat's closest ally can be corrupted if he has a bad enough day. He succeeds, and for one terrifying night The Batman faces off against Joker Jr.
Tim survives, but he's not the same. It takes months for his injuries to heal, and even then he's haunted by what Joker turned him into. Terrified that he could snap again at the wrong moment. He tells Bruce he can't be in the field anymore, it's to big of a risk. He promises Batman he'll find another way to help.
Cluemaster is dead. He died on a suicide mission. No matter how Steph feels about it personally, logically she knows Gotham is safer without him around. Part of her can't help being relieved, and she doesn't hate that part of herself as much as she knows she should. There's no longer any need for The Spoiler.
There's an opening for Robin and Steph wants the job. Wants to prove she can do it. That she's just as good as Tim. That she's not her father. That she can make a father proud.
Batman doesn't want Stephanie. He wants Tim. But maybe Stephanie is a way to get there. To make Tim jealous enough to come back.
Bruce tells himself it's for Tim's own good. Stephanie's too. Tim needs the push, needs to be Robin again so he can overcome his fear about being the field. And Stephanie needs the training, and the focus now that Cluemaster is gone.
Robin tries, she really does. She does everything Batman asks of her, always. Except once. And once is all it takes. Robin is fired, but as she leaves the cave Stephanie grabs on to one last desperate chance to prove herself. Batman never intended for the file to be used, but Stephanie doesn't know that. Batman didn't tell her. He never told her anything.
The war that erupts is unlike anything Gotham has ever seen.
Damian comes home. It's not for Bruce. It's for Gotham, for the city that took him in despite everything.
Batman isn't listening to Oracle. He's cutting him off, overriding his systems, and treating him like nothing more than a glorified phone operator. Tim can't just do nothing. Not when his city is burning.
Black Mask captures Spoiler, and nobody notices.
Robin is back on the scene. He's reluctant at first, but once he starts it's like a switch flips. The moves are second nature, the danger is exhilarating. It isn't a game, but part of him can't help relishing it all the same. He can't remember why he stopped.
Spoiler manages to get free. She manages to ambush Black Mask. She manages to pin him to the ground, gun pointed at his head. But Steph can't pull the trigger. Two months ago she would have, but now Batman's voice is in her head. She can't let him down. Not again.
Stephanie hesitates, and in that moment Black Mask breaks her hold. He gets his gun back. There's no moral code running though the back of his head. He doesn't hesitate.
Gotham is safe. Batman did his job. Damian is back. Robin is in the field again. But Bruce is haunted by what happened. Damian is injured, Tim has nightmares, and Stephanie...
Jason Todd isn't new to being poor. He knows how to be hungry, how to fend for himself. But he is new to being homeless. The gang war left lots of kids in the Narrows orphaned, of course some of them were going to fall through the cracks, and Jason happens to be one of them. Maybe it's for the best. He's heard how the Gotham Foster System treats kids. Maybe he's better off on his own. He just needs to find a way to make some money.
Batman descends with all the furry he's been holding in. But instead of an overconfident car thief, he finds a twelve year old boy desperately clutching a tire iron, trying to seem angry instead of scared.
Bruce recognizes something in him that he can't fully explain. He takes Jason back to the manor. Gives him a home. Does everything he can to keep him away from the cave.
That lasts about two weeks.
Jason wants to give back to his community, to make sure kids don't have to deal with the shit he had to deal with. He wants to thank Bruce for helping him. He wants to be nothing like his dad. He wants to make his new father proud.
Damian is against it. Tim is against it. Bruce is against it. Jason is insistent. He decides to take matters into his own hands, to steal an old Robin suit and sneak out after the others have left. It doesn't go well. He thinks he's blown his chance, but to his surprise Batman relents. If he doesn't Jason will find a way to do it on his own, and he won't let another kid go out untrained.
Tim goes back to Oracle. The way he felt the night of the gang war still scares him sometimes, reminds him to much of Batman back when they first met. Guilt washes over him whenever ever he thinks about it. How happy he'd been, all well Steph...
He should have been in the Clock Tower that night. Should have been keeping better tabs on all of them. He should have known she was missing in action, should have been monitoring her suit's location or trying to reach out instead of just listening when Batman said not to involve her. So if there's a new kid running around in the suit, their suit, he's going to make sure this one is safe.
Robin is good. Really good. He's to angry, he's rash, he's impulsive. But he learns fast, and he seems to almost fly over Gotham. He fits the role in a way Tim never truly did.
Black Mask is dead, and someone else is using his name. Someone who's dismantling the Gotham underworld piece by piece.
Steph has a duty to the people she hurt, a duty Batman will never understand, and one she has to handle her way. Batman stopped the war, but he didn't stop the gangsters. He didn't stop Black Mask, or Scareface, or any of the others. It's not about what they did to her. She deserved it. It was her own fault. But so many others suffered because of them, because of her, and Batman did nothing to stop it. So she will.
Black Mask isn't planning to confront Batman. She doesn't care about him. She's done seeking his approval and following his rules. Doing that got her killed. It got other people killed. But there's another Robin running around, and someone needs to explain that. Steph knows by now that she was never really Robin, it was all just a trick to get Tim back. A trick that worked. So who the hell is this kid? Is he like Tim, someone Batman will keep safe, or is he just another pawn he'll sacrifice the second it's covenant? And when she finally gets around to asking, she lets more slip than she should have.
Batman knows the truth, but that's okay. It was only a matter of time before he did, and it doesn't change anything. Bruce tries to appeal to her, but what can he possibly say that could make a difference? That he's sorry?
He is, but it's to late for that. Stephanie knows the truth. She knows he never took her seriously. She knows he never trusted her. She knows it was all a game, and that in the end Batman got what he wanted even if not in the way he intended. And Bruce can't argue, because she's right. He created her, and he knows it.
Stephanie Brown is dead. She died in Leslie's clinic. She died because her doctor decided teaching Batman a lesson was worth more than her life. A lesson he didn't even bother to learn. She died because she listened to Batman even though he never bothered to listen to her. And she died because Batman used her as a chess piece. Because he wrote her off before she'd even properly begun.
Black Mask is not Cluemaster. She refuse to ever be her father. But she's not Batman either. He never gave her the chance to be. She's something else. Something between those two extremes. Something that's fully hers. She's going to protect the people Batman's to busy to care about, and if she has to kill a few people along the way, so be it. She's not playing by his rules anymore. She never will again.
Black Mask is Batman's greatest failure. Not because she died, but because he never took the time to teach her how to live.
Stephanie is Bruce's biggest regret. Not because she died, but because he didn't care about her until she did.

not a request but can u do a post explaining the bat family?? (i’m new here and just know batman and robin lol) 😭
OH MY GOSH, it took me so long to reply to this, at this point you might as well know more than me LMAO.
To be honest Idk either💀 I started in the fandom because I saw a clip of the DC animated universe of Damian. And if I like the voice of a character I just love them already. Happened with HXH, with Killua, with Hunter and Luz, from the owl house, with Scaramouche, from Genshin impact.
Then I started reading all the comics Damian appeared, then I started reading Wayne Family adventures and I discovered Jason and Cass and Steph and—
Whatever I say here might be wrong because I'm not really into every member of the Bat-family, just in a couple of them. Literally just a couple of them.
So, there's Bruce Wayne, he lost his parents because they went to the movies and, for some reason, his parents decided to go home walking through a dark alley. Great choice. Anyways, he's Batman, everyone knows him and everyone knows Alfred, his butler
Then there's Dick Grayson! Circus boy, saw his parents die and became the first Robin! I really like the idea of him being angry asf, but I don't know if that's canon so, idk. Turns out he's involved with the Court of Owls and—yeah, i Don't really understand much either. I remember that the circus he grew up kind of, raised Talons, a group of highly trained assassins loyal to the Court of Owls (ty google). But then Bruce found him before the court did, so he became Robin. The court of Owls still wants him...at least that's the last thing I read in comics/don't trust me because I have horrible memory.
Something about a bunch of kids saying they're Robin, and a war against the court, Damian betraying the family, sike! He's still a good person, but he has a mask and has explosives, or something like that, and so Damian keeps living Dick accepted to work with the court and—
I don't remember how that ended. Actually I'm sorry I just spoiled you like, a whole comic, sorry not sorry.
Uh, let's keep going.
Then there's Jason! Pretty baby Jason! Second robin, used to be a stray kid, Bruce took him in when he tried to steak his wires, and he discovers that his mother isn't his real mother and the joker tricks him an—AND HE DIES, HE EXPLODES.
Tumblr media
Then he revives, six months later, because...superboy? Superman? I can't remember anymore, hits...reality? And well, he comes back to life. To be honest, I don't remember how this goes. There's a version where he does and Talia brings him back. Then he goes all cray-cray and turns in the red hood.
But-then there's this thing with superboy prime, and I remember something about him getting hit by a truck...but I don't remember if that was canon or fanon or from a fanfic... Yeah, just, just know that in both cases he ends up in the Lazarus Pit and goes all crazy. Have you seen his suit in batman and Robin, when Damian is Robin for the first time?
Tumblr media
THAT'S HIM, LMAO.
And to be honest? I did a drawing of him with braided hair like Ana from Frozen because;
Tumblr media
REDHEAD, BABY!
AND there's Tim Drake. Jason's mad at him because he sees him as his replacement/at first. He kinda... blackmailed Bruce??? And to be honest, that's all I know. Yup, I'm not a big Tim Fan, nothing against him, of course!
Then there's Steph!... And I don't know anything about her either! Next! Nah, she's the daughter of...a villain, I think? Then she dies while being Robin...she didn't actually die, she was alive all along...then she's Batgirl, then she's spoiler... And that's it. Yeah, I love Steph but I haven't read anything about her. Same with... Cass, and Thomas. Yup. Bat-family's #1 fan right here y'all. Cass was raised to be weapon, and that's literally, literally all I know about her.
...
She's Chinese???? And, uh...She likes pancakes.
Thomas, I think he appeared in Robin war(the whole comic I just spoiled you) but that's all I know about him. that, and what appears In Wayne Family adventures lmao.
AND THEN, THEN THERE'S MY BABY BOY, PRECIOUS DAMIAN WAYNE. Raise to be a weapon, in the League of Assassins, son of the Bat and Talia Al Ghul, Grandson of the demon head!!!(tell me u have a favorite without telling me you have a favorite) he's the one I'm ALWAYS drawing.
In the DC animated universe he's send away after the League is attacked. I don't know if there's a new version in the comics, but he actually earned the right to meet his Father after beating his mother in a fight! I LOOOVE the fact that in the DCAU they kept the; I thought you'd be taller, father. FANGIRL MOMENT, BEHOLD.
He literally just wants to impress his father. That's the whole reason why he's grumpy and aggressive when they meet! Bruce treats him like a nuisance and he literally trained so hard to meet him! Damian hates being patronized, literally. This baby bat is Tim drake #1 hater at first. He beats his ass!
Thing is, well, things get complicated and Bruce is lost in time or something like that, so Dick is Batman and that's why Dick and Damian have such a strong bond!
And well, there's a lot of things to explain about this character...I really want to say everything about him but this is too long already lmao.
Well, that's all I think! I'm pretty sure this didn't help you at all, but hey, I had fun rambling! Thank you so much for asking and I'm so sorry this is all useless rambling lmao
Lots of love and have a great day or night! Yk what, have a great day, month and year! Have a great life! 🫵🫵🫵🫵

Thinking about a reverse robins au where...
Talia leaves Damian, age 8, with Bruce due to infighting in the League of Assassins. Damian is Batman's Shadow until he and Bruce have a falling out over Bruce refusing to admit the Teen Titans to the League. Damian, age 18, takes on the name Nightwing and moves to New York to lead the Titans with Jon.
When Arthur Brown is killed, Crystal overdoses and Stephanie, age 12,  becomes Spoiler to avenge her parents. Tim, age 11, sees her while stalking Batman and provides her with pictures and intel under the alias Shutter. Bruce catches them one night, and Tim blackmails him into mentoring them.
When Bruce realizes Stephanie is living on the street, he decides to adopt her. Jack and Janet are their typical absentee selves, so Tim's adoption remains unofficial. Damian, age 19, resents Tim and Stephanie so much that he refuses to let them train with the Titans.
The Joker kidnaps Tim, age 14, while he's on patrol and turns him into Joker Jr. Steph, age 15, goes solo to save him and Joker makes Tim beat her with a crowbar, then locks them in the warehouse with a bomb. Stephanie dies trying to save Tim, then is resurrected and taken by Talia al Ghul, who wants to use her as leverage to win Bruce and Damian back.
Tim, now paralyzed, becomes the Oracle, saying that there's no Shutter without Spoiler. Unbeknownst to anyone, he gets to work trying to clone Stephanie.
Damian, age 23, blames himself for Stephanie's death and moves back to Gotham. While hunting the Joker, Nightwing runs into Jason, age 13, who's working for Two Face. He finds out that Jason is trying to support his family - Catherine is still battling her drug addiction and Willis was left wheelchair-bound after working for Two-Face. When Damian looks at Jason, he sees another desperate teenager that he failed, and he's determined not to make the same mistakes again. He takes Jason under his wing, training (and paying) him to fight against crime rather than for it. Jason takes on the mantle of Michael (he is going to be the guardian angel of Crime Alley. He's going to defend them from every threat.)
Tim, age 15, finds out about Jason and comes as close to a villain origin story as he gets. He thinks that Damian is trying to replace Steph, and accuses him of grooming another martyr to die for Gotham. When Damian won't back down, Tim insists on being included in Jason's training and swears to pull the plug the *second* he thinks Damian is putting Jason in undue danger. Training Jason together gives Damian and Tim the common goal they need to build a functional relationship for the first time.
Stephanie, age 19, comes back to Gotham as the Red Hood to kill the Joker, only to find that he's been missing for years. Still, she's plenty annoyed with the new street kid who's stolen her place. (Damian wouldn't even LOOK at her, but he'll take this stupid kid to a baseball game? With Tim?)
She and Batman dance their dance for a few months, then she finds out that Jason isn't an orphan. That Bruce paid for rehab so his mom could get clean, then found his dad a job so they could move somewhere safe. And it's just... Where was Bruce before? Where was he when her mom overdosed? When her dad was killed? Where was he when Tim was taken and twisted, when he was beating her to death for that fucking clown, when she tried to shield him from the blast even as he was strangling her? Where was Bruce then?
Red Hood kidnaps Catherine and lures Jason, age 16, to the warehouse where the Joker killed her. She reveals his secret identity to Catherine, then beats the brakes off of him.(In another world, Sheila Haywood smoked a cigarette while Jason was beaten. In this one, Catherine Todd begs for his life.) There's a bomb because there always is. Because there has to be.
Batman isn't too late. He saves Jason and Catherine, but Hood gets away. Catherine begs Jason to hang up his suit, but Willis stops her. He tells Jason that he's proud of him, and glad that he's chosen a better path than Willis had.
Nightwing, age 26, hunts down the Red Hood while Oracle, age 18, puts together the pieces of her identity. Nightwing catches up to Hood her in one of her safe houses and has a very dramatic monologue, as a treat. ("The last person who left my siblings trapped with a bomb thought it was funny, too. But he wasn't laughing when I was done with him. I wonder if you'll have that same look on your face when I kill you.") He nearly kills her, but is stopped by Oracle.
Tim drags Stephanie back home kicking and screaming. After months of therapy, healing, and screaming at Bruce, she allows herself to be brought back into the fold. She and Jason will never be friends, but they've made amends enough to coexist. Stephanie takes up the Spoiler mantle again.
To celebrate, the family goes to Haly's Circus. The Grayson's die, and Bruce takes in Dick, age 9. Dick discovers their secret identities and dubs himself Robin. He's an angry little gremlin determined to murder Zucco, and Bruce feels like he's been here before a few times already.
Later, there's a rumor of another Spoiler running around. Stephanie, age 22, is not prepared to find tiny Barbara Gordon, age 10, running around by herself, trying to catch bad guys. She starts chasing Barbara around, trying to talk her out of heroics. ("Is this how Bruce felt? Oh, hell, I'm too young to be a mother.") She finally relents and starts training Barbara herself. ("But you can't steal my name, kid. Gotta come up with your own."  "Fine. I'll be Batgirl, then."  "Batgirl, huh? Alright, let's see if you can live up to it.")
I'm just so 😩 about them

trick 🛹 or treat 🍬
This has a load of headcanon's that have about as much basis in canon as most fanon and is yet, not very fanon at all cause it's just normal teenager things. Hope you enjoy!
"So how old does everyone think they are?" says the familiar, yet foreign voice of Dick as its normal steadiness is broken by a crack that has everyone cringe at the intensity of. It's times like this that really highlight the age difference between all of them against Dick. Even Jason, the one here who's arguably known Dick the longest (not that the handful of times he saw Dick at ages thirteen and fourteen amount to much), only knew about "Pizza Face Grayson" after Barbie had shown him blackmail pictures after Dick lied to Jason about never having mask acne. It's actually a little...gross how much concealer Dick has slathered on his face. Not that it does much. Jason knows the hassle of acne showing up in your later teens, but even his worst is nothing compared to the miscolored bumpy texture Dick has that's only dripping off from all the sweat. Like he hasn't found the right way to hide them that he had once Jason was brought into the fold years later. Alongside Dick's little mustache, less pronounced than Damian's but more than enough to be seen in photos, it's a pretty validating to have everyone witness the truth that Dick has spent the last twelve years erasing, like his time between ages 12-20 were perfect skin, perfect hair, perfect teeth, perfect face instead of the truth has been for nothing because Jason can see Stephanie and Damian sneaking photos when Dick isn't looking. "I'm definitely twelve, I can recognize these disaster bangs anywhere," Stephanie pipes up, flicking her uneven, jagged yet boxy bangs. Like she had cut them herself with dry hair, kitchen shears, and a bowl. Jason takes in himself. Being shorter than everyone present means nothing considering he didn't even hit five feet until shortly before he died. The braces in his mouth signify he's been taken in by Bruce so that leaves anywhere between late twelve and mid fourteen. But the rubber-bands mean that he's more likely early to mid thirteen. "Twelve," he bites out instead. Jason has zero clue if he's early thirteen Jason who has a lisp from hell, or mid late thirteen Jason who can speak like an actual person and not the stereotypical nerd. Either way he isn't taking any chances at them learning about 'Jathon Thodd', it was bad enough about them finding out about 'Todd the twink'. And if Jason and Stephanie are around the same age, that means... "Right before my twelfth birthday," comes the terse reply from Tim. Right, nobody had known Tim at that age, so nobody had known he had used to be so...rotund. Taller than Jason but shorter than Stephanie. His hair was cut spiky, like he was trying to mimic some anime character which pronounced his full cheeks and second chin. He's been crossing his arms the entire time, which has only emphasized how big and soft his chest, arms, and torso are. "That's pretty specific Drake," drawls Damian, the only one who has stayed the same age, "was it right before your parents sent you to fat camp?" Oof, low blow from Damian but expected. What wasn't expected was Tim's bitten off, "Yes."

Bat Brothers Freaky Friday
This is a thought I had a long time ago and was going to write a fic for it but I didn't have the patience.
...
I'm imagining Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damien are fighting and the ones rotating because Duke and the girls are not mixed up in the fight and in fact have been avoiding these 4 since the fight started.
They rotate so all 4 of them have to patrol and do day to day activities as all three of their brothers over the course of like. 2 weeks.
They get each other's muscle memories physical traits and issues and to a certain degree mental illnesses.
All of them have ADHD and PTSD so they don't really notice the changes there.
Dick - Hypermobility, chronic joint aches that he doesn't even notice anymore, night vision is kind of blurry and he should be using glasses for reading but doesn't. Body dysmorphia and general body image issues from being objectified so much, vertigo.
Jason - Chronic rib/chest/lung pain kind of like asthma, tinnitus, dull head aches at all times, Lazarus mood swings that he has under control. Also the Lazarus fucked his taste buds so he has to add extra seasoning and aromatics to everything or he can't taste it.
Tim - nearsighted, perpetually slightly feverish, extreme caffeine dependency (withdrawal causes nausea, migraines, inability to focus, shaking, and irritability) , food sensory issues and chronic nausea that means if he eats more than a snack in one sitting he throws up but if he goes too long without eating he throws up, insomnia which causes chronic fatigue, also immunocompromised cause spleen, if someone in his body isn't careful he could get sick and die. Also he's trans and has had top surgery and is on t but still gets his period. Dysphoria
Damian - muscle memory tends towards violence. He has to actively work against ingrained muscular instincts to fight. Hes also built like a weapon - limbs are slightly misshapen from learning to fight before he can walk - like ballerinas who have fucked up feet from learning certain stances while their feet were still developing, arthritic hands. He can do anything with them but they were broken many times when he was a child and doing mundane tasks for long periods of time aches. Holding and using a weapon? Fine. Writing for more than a few minutes? Achy. He also needs a lot of seasoning to be able to taste it.
Bruce wasn't around for the initial swap (otherwise he'd probably be included) but before we get to the empathy and brotherly bonding there's a lot of blackmailing and accusations going around when it comes to things like patrolling injured and telling people how fucked up your body is.
"You keep your mouth shut about my spleen or I'll tell Alfred you can't even taste his cookies."
"I do NOT need glasses and if you tell Bruce that I do I'll tell him you have asthma"
Etc.
Feel free to add on your own thoughts/head canons/ficlets/whatever.
Pls tell me if you write anything about it cause I'd love to read it.

My Hc’s for the Batfam & DC Universe
(Warning: These are just my personal hc and there will be character bashing so read the tags and continue at your own risk.)
I want to start this by saying I have not read the comics and though I plan to my opinions and hc now are shaped by the Batman movies and Batfam and DC fanfics.
Bruce is a great mom(personal preference mpreg or not).
Talia is a rapist; if she physically raped Bruce or not that doesn’t change the fact that Damian was conceived without Bruce’s consent(no I don’t care it was retconned) and a bad abusive mother.
Jason does not and will never consider Talia his mother and he would murder her on sight if he ever finds out exactly how Damian was conceived.
Dick is not, has not been and will never be Damian’s dad(his older brother, mentor but not dad).
Jason is a total mama’s boy(Bruce).
^Having said that I also ship JayBru(here is the author that got me shipping them; love how Bruce is a total submissive bottom and Jason is a dominant top in most of these stories<also my hc for them)(and of course nothing happens romance or sex wise until after Jason comes back to Gotham as a adult) and think their soulmates platonically or otherwise.
Tim is a plain peace of white bread(no butter or anything). He is not smarter or a better detective than Bruce. He is a stalker and blackmailer that used Bruce’s grief against him(with Alfred and Dick’s help) and I will never forgive him for it(neither will Jason if he finds out).
Alfred is not a saint or God or a good parent. He’s the type of parent that total messed up raising his own child(Bruce and the daughter he never sees) and over compensates by being a better grandfather. Nothing wrong with being a good grandfather but I’m tired of people acting like Bruce not being the best at emotions is just his own fault. Alfred was the one who insisted on being just a butler to a grieving traumatized kid who need a parent and/or guardian(and people shit on Bruce for not having the courage to offer to adopt Dick) and never forced Bruce to get therapy. And I know you can’t force someone to benefit from therapy but Alfred had access to money to get Bruce the best therapist in the world and Bruce was what 8 or 9, you can’t tell me he wouldn’t have gotten bored or curious and started talking to the therapist eventually. Not to mention backing up Tim in forcing Bruce to make Tim Robin.
Clark and Diana are not Bruce’s best friends.
Harley and Bruce went to Med school together and are best friends and basically siblings.
Stephanie is annoying and useless and quite frankly after Bruce fired her she should have left and never came back.

could you post other parts of your og draft for “call me from the platform”? i love your stories and the way you write the characters is amazing!
ahh thank you! <3 <3 <3 This ask makes me feel like a real fic writer lmao. I'd love to share!!! call me from the platform is definitely the fic I've spent the longest working on, and each draft was so different!
Here's a cut scene from the draft where I was still doing Damian's POV:
Damian couldn’t eat the breakfast sandwiches. They were made of egg, cheese, and bacon. He texted Jon and instructed him to meet at the nearest park. Damian already claimed a picnic table for them. The food was cold by the time he got there, but he accepted the bag when Damian pushed it toward him.
“Thanks,” Jon said.
“I can’t eat them. They’re probably terrible, anyway. Drake bought them.”
“Why did he buy you food you can’t eat?” Jon asked, unwrapping a sandwich and taking a bite.
“He bought them for himself,” Damian studied Jon’s face carefully, and pointedly added, “and Conner.”
Jon huffed a little laugh, which was extra gross because he was eating. He chewed and swallowed.
“Wow, Conner. He must be growing on you. You called me Kent forever.”
“Shut up, Kent.”
Jon smiled fondly and Damian forced himself to looked away.
“Aren’t you going to ask why I stole their breakfast?”
“Was it because they annoyed you?”
“Conner said he knows you’ve snuck out of the house.”
Jon cringed.
“Oh, shoot. Well, sometimes it’s hard to stop yourself from listening and everything. Dad’s way better at it. I bet he doesn’t know, at least.”
Damian leaned forward.
“Have you ever accidentally listened to Conner? Perhaps there’s something we could use against him, to make sure he doesn’t tattle.”
“Um… no. But I don’t think he’ll tell. He’s cool. And he hasn’t so far.”
Damian sat back and tapped his finger against the table. So, Jon didn’t know. He didn’t think he did, because Jon told him everything. The thought made his stomach twist but he ignored the pull of guilt. Jon told him everything, and Damian had secrets. They both knew it, so it was fine.
He thought that seeing Father for essentially two days a week would repair their relationship, but they fought more than ever. When they returned to the cave in the early hours of dawn they got into their worst fight yet over whether or not Damian would be attending college. He pretended to go to bed before sneaking out and catching a string of public transportation to the outskirts of Metropolis. By the time he walked back to Tim’s he’d been up for 24 hours and all he wanted to do was wake him up and tell him the new plan—  that he would be staying in Metropolis full-time and patrolling with Jon— but it wasn’t Tim sleeping in his bed.
It was an embarrassing shock, to say the least. He’d learned to knock after years of living with Dick and Bruce, but he never expected that sort of surprise from Tim. And he certainly didn’t expect Tim to be gay or bisexual or whatever. He managed to compose himself before confronting the clone— but then he tried to pull that basic blackmailing bullshit, threatening to make it more difficult for him to see Jon. It set him off, even though now that he’d had time to cool down, he realized Jon was right. Conner Kent was hardly a threat.
It wouldn’t be right to tell Jon, no matter how much he itched to.
But finding out Tim was queer rattled him and left him strangely on edge. He wanted to talk about it with someone, so they would be rattled, too, and he would have concrete proof that it wasn’t just him. It was news that would shock anyone. If Grayson found out, he would be rattled. If Jason found out, his chest would tighten. If Duke found out, he would feel off balance. Just like Damian.
Jon crumpled up the sandwich wrapper and shoved it back into the bag. He stretched. He could draw Jon with his eyes closed but he still caught himself staring at him all the time like he was a fresh face he needed to memorize. By this point it must’ve been habit. Jon’s arms were long and lean, but he had filled out a lot since starting high school. The lines that made up his face had gotten sharper. His eyes, even behind his glasses, were brighter than the blue sky behind him. It was impossible to capture the way they lit up on canvas, even though Damian was a very talented artist.
“Do you want to hang out at my house?” Jon asked.
Damian wasn’t sure what he wanted at all.

There are so many great fills to this. I've only skimmed one or two, but it caught my attention and I had to do my own take. There's gonna be a part 2 coming from me, hopefully sooner than later, but I didn't want another Wednesday to go by without posting anything.

Want to Hold on and Feel I Belong
Danny choked back a scream as he woke from another nightmare. Quickly he turned on the light next to his bed. Blue walls, gray ceiling dotted with glow-in-the-dark stars. Not a speck of white anywhere. He was safe.
He put his head between his knees and tried to breathe. The tremors didn't stop. He was safe. They didn't know where he was.
With a cry of frustration, he jumped out of bed. He needed to move, to get out. Maybe if he went to the kitchen, someone would be awake. Tim was home and he barely ever slept as far as Danny could tell. Mind made up, he slipped out of his room, bare feet silent as he made his way down the hall.
It was with relief that he saw the kitchen light on. But then he heard voices. He didn't want to intrude on any private conversations. He paused, just wanting to stay long enough to ensure he wouldn't be intruding.
"…proof I am the superior Robin." That was clearly Damian speaking.
"You're just jealous that Dick and Bruce trust me to do my own thing on patrol," Tim shot back. Patrol? Robin? No. They couldn't be. Not this family, too.
Danny carefully looked around to ensure none of the other family members were around and turned himself invisible and intangible to get closer.
"You had to blackmail your way into the Robin mantle. I earned my place in the suit."
"Alfred gave me the suit just like Dick gave it to you. Bruce didn't chose either of us."
No. It wasn't true. It couldn’t be true. He backed away from the door and straight through the far wall at which point he turned and flew right back to his room.
He collapsed on the floor and gasped for air. Bruce was Batman. They were part of the Justice League. The Justice League worked with them.
He needed to get out of here. It wasn't safe. He scrambled to the closet, phasing through it when his hands shook too much to grab the handle. His go-bag was woefully unprepared. He'd gotten complacent. Everyone here was just so nice. He liked them.
But he'd loved his parents, too. And that hadn't stopped them, either.
He shoved a few changes of clothes into the bag. His phone and electronics would have to be left behind. And any credit cards. Batman would have the resources to track any of them.
But he did grab the picture of himself, Sam, Tucker, and Jazz from his bedside table. And, after a pause, the one from a month after he'd joined the Waynes. Alfred had taken it when they’d had a movie night and Duke had his arm around Danny who was leaning against Jason’s legs. He’d just started allowing himself to think he might have a second chance at life and family.
He shoved it in his bag and went to his snack stash. He wished he'd had more food in his room, but whatever half-eaten snacks would have to do. And then he was flying out of the manor.
He was nearly to the edge of city limits before he froze in midair. They hadn't turned him in yet. They were trying to gather more information. What had they passed on? What details had he let slip about his friends and the ghosts and the realms that was now in their hands?
He had to go back. He had to keep his people safe. But he would never let himself be turned over. Not again.
His return to the manor seemed to take much longer than the journey out had. By the time he slipped back into his room, the sky was starting to lighten on the horizon. Danny hid his bag in the closet.
He needed something to keep himself safe. He would not go back. He wouldn’t survive that again.
When he’d gotten here, he’d brought some of his parent’s inventions with him. Would he be able to modify one of them to work on humans? Only one way to find out.
He’d hidden all the weapons in the walls when he moved in, but he’d marked the locations. Phasing his hand through the NASA poster, he removed an ectoblaster. Time to get to work.
When the knock sounded on his door, he jumped so high he started flying. “Just a second!” he called out as he settled back to the floor and tried to get his breathing under control. He shoved both the blaster and his tools into the floor.
“Take your time, Master Danny,” replied Alfred from the other side of the door.
At the sound of his voice, Danny froze again. Was Alfred lying to him, too? He liked Alfred. He was teaching him how to cook without reanimating the food. Danny closed his eyes tightly and allowed himself two deep breaths before shuffling to the door and opening it partway.
“Hey, Alfred.” Danny couldn’t even give an insincere ‘good morning.’
“You don’t look well, Master Danny.” Alfred reached out to check his temperature.
At the feel of the warm fingers Danny flinched back violently. Warm touches meant humans. Meant pain and danger.
“I apologize for startling you. Are you ill?”
“I… Yeah. I’m not feeling well today. Couldn’t sleep and I can’t seem to get warm. I don’t think I’ll be able to make it into school today. Sorry I didn’t say something sooner. I won’t make Duke or Damian late, will I?”
“Not at all. I’ll bring up a bowl of oatmeal for you and perhaps a nice soup for lunch?”
“Sure. I don’t know how much I’ll be able to eat today.”
“Of course. Do you think it’s a stomach bug? Or a cold or flu? I’ll bring along some medications as well.”
As if he and everyone else didn’t know very well that human medications wouldn’t work on him. Though he had to applaud their acting skills. Danny shrugged. “Not sure. I just generally feel crappy today. I’m going to try and get some more rest.”
“Of course. I’ll wish you a speedy recovery and will bring up the oatmeal right away.”
Danny shut the door and froze the lock in place for good measure. Only way anyone would get in is if they broke the door down. He went back to working on the blaster. When Alfred returned, he didn’t open the door and yelled at him to leave the food on the floor.
Could he even trust the food they’d been giving him?
It’s not like he really needed to eat anyway. At least, not as much as a normal human. He kept working. The next time someone knocked on his door, he just yelled at them to go away.
By the time he finished modifying the blaster, it was early afternoon. No one would be home. When could he confront them? Learn what they’d told the GIW? Learn how much danger he’d put his people in?
Did everyone gather for patrol the way he, Sam, and Tuck would? Their meeting place would have to be attached to the manor somehow probably with a second entrance elsewhere. Vlad hid his secret lab underground, maybe Bruce did the same thing?
If he was really lucky, he’d be able to hack their computers and find out what they’d shared that way.
He clutched the blaster tight and turned invisible and intangible and flew downward. He needed to find it. To find anything. He would not be able to exist with himself if any of his people were hurt because he let himself trust the wrong people again.
At first, all he could find was solid rock. But he kept going. It had to be here somewhere.
And then the rock opened up in front of him, revealing a large cave. His eyes were immediately drawn to the giant T-Rex taking up part of the cave. But the giant penny was a close second.
He only allowed himself to look for a minute. When he turned from the trophy area, he saw Tim dressed Red Robin, though without the domino mask, sitting at the giant computer set up. Damn. He wasn’t going to be able to search it himself.
His hand tightened on the blaster as he stared at his foster brother. Would Tim know? No. He had to get them all together. He’d said different things to different people and he had no way of knowing if they compared notes or if each made their reports separately. He’d wait.
As time passed, Tim barely moved from his spot. Danny flew closer to see, but Tim wasn’t looking at anything to do with ghosts. No reports to the GIW filled the screen. It looked like it was something to do with Scarecrow.
Danny took up position by the wall again.
Alfred came down, tried to convince Tim to join them upstairs for dinner. Tim refused and Alfred came back with a sandwich for him to eat at the computer.
More time passed. He heard an engine. A motorcycle rolled in and Red Hood stepped off. Danny sensed the death on him and his core lurched when he realized it was Jason before he ever removed his helmet.
Why would Jason work with them? He was in nearly as much danger from them as Danny. The blaster felt solid in his hands. No matter who betrayed him, he wouldn’t go back. His eyes stung—was he really that awful? First his parents and now his adoptive family as well?
He waited. They all needed to be here. Jason and Tim argued and the familiar sight threatened to put Danny at ease.
And then a pair of sliding doors opened and Bruce entered with Damian, Duke, and Dick.
Screams echoed in his ears. Screams of pain, of terror. Dani crying out, begging him to help her. His own screams as blades cut into his flesh. He dropped his invisibility and continued to wait, half hidden in the shadows.
His adoptive family lived up to their reputations and only minute or two passed before he was spotted.
“Danny?” asked Bruce. “How’d you get here?” He took a step towards Danny.
“What did you tell them?” asked Danny, voice low and steady. He clenched the blaster tighter but didn’t raise it yet.
Bruce froze. “Told who? Danny what are you talking about?”
Danny would’ve believed it if he didn’t know better. He swung the blaster up and pointed it right at his foster-father. “Don’t lie to me!” His voice cracked on the last word. “I won’t go back. You can’t make me!”
Dick took a step forward, hands up in a placating gesture. Danny turned the blaster on him.
“Don’t come any closer! You won’t take me. I won’t let you. Just—Just tell me what you told them.” His vision blurred and he blinked away the tears. “Just tell me and I’ll go. No one has to get hurt.”
Jason sent out a pulse of calm and Danny’s jaw clenched tighter. “Danny, who are you talking about? Where do you think we’re going to take you? You’re safe here.”
Danny shook his head. “Why are you helping them? They’ll go after you, too. They’ll tie you down and cut you open and they won’t care you’re more alive than dead.”
“I… What?” Jason took a step back at his words.
Bruce cleared his throat. “We won’t let anyone hurt Jason. Or you. We’re your family, Danny.”
Danny snorted. “So were my parents and it didn’t stop them. When I got out I swore I’d never go back. That it didn’t matter how much I loved the people who were turning me in, I’d fight.”
Dick tried again. “We’re not your parents, Danny. Why are you convinced we’re going to hurt you?”
Danny turned his blaster back towards Bruce. He locked his elbows to try and control how badly his hands were shaking. “You’re Batman. You’re part of the Justice League. The Justice League works for the US government. It doesn’t take a genius to figure it out. Now, I’m going to ask once more: what did you tell them.”
Tim rolled the chair back to face Danny more fully. “What do you think we told them?”
“You’ve been questioning me. I can’t believe I didn’t see it sooner.” Ancients, why was he crying? He should be better than this. “You’ve been questioning me. Asking about my friends and where I’d hang out. I edited my answers, I’m not a complete idiot, but if you already knew… I won’t go back. But I can’t leave until I know I didn’t put my people in more danger. Until I know they didn’t use information I let slip to capture and torture anyone else.”
“Danny, chum.” The nickname had Danny flinching back, and Bruce held up his hands. “Everything you’ve told us has stayed in the family. We haven’t shared any of it with anyone. Can you tell us who wants to hurt you?”
“Stop lying!” yelled Danny.
Bruce took a step forward and Danny pulled the trigger. He wouldn’t go back. He couldn’t. Bruce let out a yell of pain and fell to the ground. Everyone jumped into motion, some rushing to Bruce, some rushing towards him. Danny phased into the wall, flying up to his room and grabbing his go-bag. He’d have to find out what information the GIW had gotten some other way.

Been a while since I let loose with the angst. I had fun with this.
I won't be doing a tag list for this one. There's no way to tell if you're talking to me or one of the other authors, but it's on AO3 so you can follow there. (Updates might come here first, though.)
AO3 version is locked to registered users. I do have 2 or 3 invitations I can give out if there's anyone who follows me who still doesn't have an account - just DM me and I'll give it to you. I don't even need an email. (They'll be first come first serve.)
Fine line
Okay so we all know pre-reveal but already adopted Danny would question his whole life when he finds out about the vigilante life the Waynes are in but may I introduce you to:
✨Absolutely horrified Danny.✨
Basically he finds out that his seemingly normal family isn't so normal after all and due to the nature of the JL never responding to Amity calls he assumed that they were working with the government. This led to the realization that the family probably knows who he is (they really don't. They just think that he was a meta that doesn't want to deal with the crime-related life bs so they never brought it up) and they're probably in the midst of handing him to the GIW.
He's terrified, because god dammit he shouldn't have trusted a rich guy but he doesn't really have time to contemplate on his next move. Next thing you know Danny's holding a modified ecto gun that is now fatal to humans against Bruce.
The family is alert and ready to pounce on him, but they realized that Danny was shaking too much and his breathing was too ragged. His eyes are glossy and he's biting his lip like he's trying so hard to not drop the gun on his adoptive dad. Danny was having a panic attack.

all of the bats keep files on each other. partly for contingency plans, partly out of respect, but mostly for blackmail.
Bruce: openly keeps track of what his kids are doing, but doesn't use blackmail. he also has intentionally never made a file for contingency plans against his children, even though it's a recurring intrusive thought
Dick: by virtue of being the oldest, he has a massive file of shit from over the years thats he’s absolutely unafraid to use. he’s also a serial liar so 9/10 he’s just bluffing but it’s always just a bit too risky to call him on it
Cass: it’s always the quiet ones. is the embodiment of this energy:
Tumblr media
Jason: keeps a hollowed-out book full of stuff he can use against his family like the dramatic literature nerd he is
Tim: so. many. pictures. you thought he was a stalker when he was a kid? you haven't seen anything yet. also has elaborate files of contingency plans strung up on a conspiracy board in his hideout- complete with red thread. it’s utterly incomprehensible to anyone else
Steph: her twitter drafts are absolutely chock-full of gold and with one wrong word, all hell can be released onto the interwebs
Duke: *minor inconvenience* “woooooooowwwwww…………. is it because i’m black? 🤔”
Damian: breaks into peoples fucking houses in the most unsubtle way possible. seriously, little D, have a LITTLE stealth
