The rich flavors of peanut butter and the sweetness of strawberry jam combine in these delectable thumbprint cookies. They're simple to make and ideal for any occasion!
Ingredients: 1 cup creamy peanut butter. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 cup strawberry jam or your preferred jelly.
Instructions: Set the oven to 350F 175C and heat it up. Mix the sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and peanut butter in a bowl until everything is well mixed. Then add the salt, baking powder, and flour and mix it all together until dough forms. Make 1-inch balls out of the dough and put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make a hole in the middle of each dough ball with your thumb. Put strawberry jam or any other jelly you like into each hole. Put the cookies in an oven that has already been heated for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they are set and a little golden. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way. Have fun with your tasty Peanut Butter n' Jelly Thumbprint cookies!
