i don’t normally get upset or affected by comments on fics, but i am thinking about how daylight is a very special fic to me & if you didn’t know, features reader as a sex worker. a big part of the fic is the fact that you’re discovering/allowing yourself the chance to fall in love and experience true, pure, nothing but good intentions type of love and how because sex, one of the most intimate acts you can share with a person, is your only way to survive, that the act itself is reduced to just a transaction/job. letting someone into your life, sharing stories that you’ve never told before, admitting your fears and showing your vulnerabilities — those are acts of intimacy that are harder and also more precious to you!!!!! it took nearly 40k words for you to share ur first kiss w the male lead!!!! so i still think abt the comment that’s like “hope there’s smut in the next chapter” and there was no ill intention behind the comment but it just made me pause and get kind of sad bc them not having sex for a while is… actually a big deal to me and for the fic… its a love story, guys. can we have a romance where we know the two leads are attracted and very much in love with each other without them having to fuck on screen to prove it.

#granted i did say eventual smut bc there will be #but there’s build up #and when they commented this it was at a point where i felt them having sex would be rushing into things #bc reader has always been distrustful of the intentions of men given her circumstances #so u wanted me to rush the plot line and throw away characterization so u could get off?

i’ve never been as angry on behalf of a character as i am for sam winchester

#currently thinking about season four and five. absolutely fuckibg mental #the world literally reshapes itself around him to prove him wrong #its all framed as God. Sam was so stupid and selfish and reckless for drinking demon blood. He just liked the power of it and he chose a #DEMON over DEAN.#but. that’s not the story they tell in s4.#like even aside from every single other complexity. i feel like chloe and max having relationship problems makes a LOT of sense considering everything the two of them went through, and max sacrificing arcadia bay would 100% be a huge one of them. especially considering chloe lost her mother to that. it’s a decision max made to save her, but regardless. all of their troubles r incredibly realistic but you lost me at chloe dumping her for VICTORIA CHASE. like?????? it’s like they completely forgot every single aspect of what makes chloe chloe. yes they would be rocky but she would fight for her, just like how she fought for her hope and love of rachel still being out there. like. she is incredibly loyal and not once in the original games did she even fuck with victoria. i’m less mad about them breaking up and more mad abt the character assassination of chloe

I don't remember last I mentioned it but apart from crude nicknames to people (except Chris), he also just puts them in his phone really weird (except Chris, who is literally in his phone as Chris). And I bring this up because in Right's phone, Karen is saved as "Lawful Obligation".

Viole sat by the window, watching Mr. Shibisu rummage through the medbay cabinets. Mr. Rak and Khun went to the cafeteria to get food, so there were only the three of them in the room.

Mr. Isu had been doing that the moment Mr. Agni left. And Viole grew curious. "What are you looking for, Mr. Isu? Maybe I can help."

"Oh, nothing. I'm just checking what they’ve got here. A good scout should use every opportunity well." Mr. Isu gave him a thumbs up. "Also, there's no need to be so formal to me, man. Just call me Isu."

Viole felt sheepish. Maybe he should grow out of this habit soon. "Okay, Isu."

Isu flicked his fingers. It seemed like he just remembered something. "Oh, right. Bam. I have something for you." Then proceeded to dig through his pocket. His face lit up when he found the thing.

Isu walked up to him, and handed him a badge. It looked like a feather, but shaped like an odd tree branch. "What is this?"

"That's a wing tree badge, a symbol of the organization called Wolhaiksong. Princess Yuri asked me to give it to you, back on the second floor."

"Miss Yuri…" He hadn't heard about her in a long time. He missed her. He hoped she was doing well. Did she know that he was still alive? Oh. He should apologize for losing the Black March, too. And retrieve it, so he could return it to her. Anaak should have it, right? He'd talk to her later.

"If I recall…she said, 'Urek Mazino is waiting for you on the seventy-seventh floor' when she handed that badge over."

"Seventy-seventh floor?" That'd be a high climb, maybe some years at best. Could he meet Miss Yuri there? "Who's Urek Mazino?"

"He's the co-founder of Wolhaiksong, an irregular, and also one of the top five strongest people in this tower! No joke."

Viole examined the badge. It was white and glossy, small enough that he could hide it between his hands. To think that this small item could hold so much value…It was pressuring. Just like when he was lended the Black March. But still, he was happy to be acknowledged and remembered by such important people. "Thank you, Isu."

"You're welcome." Isu replied cheerfully and sat back next to him, shoulders slouched like an invisible weight had just been lifted off him. "Man… it’s good to finally be able to give it to you."
