The biggest draw of Lucifer/Blitz for me is the way they would understand each other.

They have disturbingly dimilar trauma that changed their lifes on a fundamental level - loosing your home and family after it being all you knew because you made a mistake

They would understand each other on a fundamental level because this trauma is not something someone *can* easily relate to and understand.

But having both lived through it - making a mistake, loosing everything and ending up living in a hell of your own making?

They get it.

SharpShooters + Textboxes Pt. 1

Ummm, been kinda numb these last few days so I've been coping by drawing these two idiots with textboxes I've found on Pintrest.

More to come + ones with the rest of the Silly Squad in the future 👍🏼 if school doesn't take me out first

They're pretty much in order of the progression of their relationship.

From what was supposedly just going to be a one-night stand after a chance meeting in the bar - with Crosshair wanting to feel something after being left behind by his brothers and Tay just finding Crosshair attractive for beating him at darts (stupid, yes but he likes people who are better than him at something) - to Tay becoming hopelessly devoted to Crosshair and the two of them finding peace and purpose again on Pabu and having their own little family with their adopted daughter, Akona-Mae :)

Yay for happy endings 🎉

Crosshair is reunited with his family again and finally has a sense of peace and belonging outside of being a soldier, and in turn, Tay finally has his freedom and a family again instead of ending up dead in a arena :D

Anywho I love them.

knowing i should take a step back from tumblr for my own wellbeing vs. being emotionally attached to this app and the people on it

Wait... so I've crack shipped Poppy with Winnie Weasel before, she's blonde. Psycho, my favorite guy to ship Poppy with, has a yellowish underbelly; one could argue that can count for blondness (not to mention the fact that I've seen plenty of humanized Psycho's with blonde hair). And lately, I've been shipping Poppy with @slashingdisneypasta OC Rena, who also has blonde locks.

#Spotify #music for when you’re driving to ace hardware to buy mousetraps so you can kick out that mouse like Nick Cave says #and when you get there you give him your best friend’s phone number bc you unfortunately have it memorized and he goes to ace hardware all #the time for work #and the guy on the register squints at you and confirms the very male name on the screen #and you resist the urge to squeak out an excuse and just confirm #and then you stop by aldi on the way back and buy two tubs of Greek yogurt and two bottles of synergy kombucha #bc even though you brew your own and actually have way more than you could possibly handle rn bc it’s so hot in your house #you are a sucker for limited edition flavors and it will cause you to spend $8 on kombucha #so you buy pomelo lemonade and cherry coconut lemongrass #which is the summer flavor named unity or something #and you usually get one every year #but you still feel ridiculous walking out of aldi with two tubs of yogurt and two bottles of kombucha and nothing else even though no one #you know sees you even though west ********* is crawling with acquaintances #and then you get back in your car and you’re proud of the rare burst of executive function which allowed you to finally put the new battery #in your car keys even though you stole the battery from target like two months ago you just couldn’t figure out how to open the damn thing #and the convenience is novel and you think wow maybe I should injure my ribcage more often if it’s forcing me to take care of all these #tiny tasks like buying mousetraps and replacing your key battery and cooking figs in honey et cetera #and you drive down the hill and see low clouds snagging in the blue ridge mountains and feel alright for a moment #and go to the scratch and dent where you buy butter and a couple 33¢ seltzers and a diet ginger ale as a lil treat #and when you get back home you drop it on the gravel road and the ginger ale begins to leak out so you put your mouth to it even though the #thought of what nonsense is on the outside of the can from the manufacturing and shipping process lingers #and by the time you get to the kitchen and pour it over ice in a mason jar it’s fairly flat from the burst of bubbles when you poured it #awkwardly with one hand #and you drink what remains on the porch where it’s a post-rain subdued sky sort of dusk #and you think about how much it’s gonna hurt to leave and how you have no other option because of how entwined you’ve become with someone #who is the entire city and the entire vast forest and possibly the entire ecological region #and then you’re still hungry so you eat some meal prepped overnight oats that were for tomorrow morning. the end #journal

#i'm sick this is my slightly fever-induced thought stream in the rest of the tags sorry ->#all the 1984 stuff is really interesting. the position of both ocelot and kaz as the people running room 101 is really fascinating.#because it somehow manages to place huey in the position of winston while also having venom be in the position of winston.#<- would that make quiet julia? actually yes it does bc of her nature motifs.#and the whole game seems to doublethink of whats real and what isn't. though it starts to tell you what isn't real its still there.#and then with moby dick you have pequod which is just. the ship. and queegueg who is ishmaels friend. which is why its kind of perfect he i #the other pilot we see who takes kaz places. and theres other stuff with him but i don't want to get into that. i could go on for a while.#but whats interesting is that ahab seems to apply more to kaz than it does to venom. esp because his own deception results in his downfall.#whereas that isn't true with venom if youve played mg1 he just kinda keeps going with it to at least some degree.#and i guess kaz is working for foxhound but you know what i mean.#ocelot even being the perfect counterpart to starbuck who works at kaz's side but disagrees with his methods to an extreme.#he isn't of the same morals as starbuck but its just the oppositional character type.#does that mean cipher is moby dick. yes actually bc of the leg thing with kaz. oh my god.#<- funny enough i am actually getting moby dick back out of the library bc i never finished it and its been ages since i read what i did.#i remember the narration being kind of nuts.#honestly the lord of the flies stuff feels less like a reference and more like eli read that book and decided he wanted to do it irl. lol.#i can't say these books are even close to being favorites but i'm intimately familiar with both 1984 and lotf so those are. those.#and moby dick is genuinely just kind of. what in the hell did i experience. theres a lot to unpack.#and i didn't even finish the damn thing.#ok i'm done now i just needed to get that out of my system. now i'm off to read veniss underground. 👍#.txt

Always loved the idea of a fatter bruce and rhoady together, like a different au..timeliness sorta thing

Y’know what? I can dig it. I’m definitely a fan of Bruce/Tony, Bruce/Rhodey, and Bruce/Tony/Rhodey (rarest of rare thruples if I ever saw it) and the weight gain could be a thing.

I could see MCU Rhodes gaining weight during his accident rehab. He’s kinda skinny anyway, so he could stand to gain a few extra pounds *not enough to create extra rehab problems, but enough because he’s not nearly as active, and Tony feeling guilty about what happened combined with Bruce being a rather excellent cook (if he does say so himself)*

Before anyone comes in my inbox with "But Izuku would have voted for Katsuki and would have loved for him to be number one" I need you to understand that yes, he probably would but this also the same kid who is just as competitive when pushed to it and also Izuku is an individual.

I feel like sometimes saying that "Izuku would have voted..." is also forgetting that Izuku is his own character and not everything he does or says or whatever is always about Katsuki.

I don't hate the ship and I don't hate Katsuki and I am fully aware that they are a big part of each other's lives, but I will also acknowledge they individually they do hold value to themselves without the need to bring up the ship. For some parts of the story, they weren't even in the same arc. The Shie Hassaikai Arc, anyone? The School Festival Arc?

Sometimes, I feel like some people only acknowledge Izuku for the sake of BakuDeku. He has other traits, he has done other things and most of it being without Katsuki's influence!!

This is the same fandom that will go "He's annoying" and critique his character.

Katsuki has haters because he's "too mean", but Izuku will get hate on for being "too nice" and he's not even that nice!

I would have loved for Izuku to have gotten #1 because he, too, have grown as a character and has done great things and come on. The ninth poll? Izuku being the ninth user while also having his name referencing said number?

Opportunity was damn sure missed!!

And personally?? I feel like he would have voted for All Might. That is his idol, his hero dad!

took me 17 years to realize i wasnt that into shipping in fandom spaces . like i rb shipart and have a few ships i prefer but it has never been that serious to me . ive drawn shipart maybe . 6 times ever . there are like 4 ships off the top of my head that im very passionate about but that's kind of it . and most of them are from the same series
