#Rena x Poppy

Wait... so I've crack shipped Poppy with Winnie Weasel before, she's blonde. Psycho, my favorite guy to ship Poppy with, has a yellowish underbelly; one could argue that can count for blondness (not to mention the fact that I've seen plenty of humanized Psycho's with blonde hair). And lately, I've been shipping Poppy with @slashingdisneypasta OC Rena, who also has blonde locks.

In all seriousness I can see that! Henry doesn't really see her past a nice way to get off. And even then, he's too scared and annoyed by her to want anything past a fuck (hence why Rena'd have to blackmail him to marry her). So yeah, to put it simply, he really doesn't see much worth in her.

That implies that, on the opposite end with Poppy loving her and not wanting to give up on her, Rena isn't too invested with her. Maybe being in Poppy's presence brings those unfamiliar feelings (her realizing how she sees herself. Or maybe her actually seeing value in herself because Poppy sees that in her), and she'd rather be with a guy like Henry because he doesn't bring any uncomfortable thoughts and feelings?

So I guess Shiny is the middle ground between them 🤔 she doesn't like Rena, they have hot hate sex, and Rena loves that. But on occasion, they have quiet moments. Moments that are calm and steady and they can relate to each other. Shiny doesn't like Rena's behavior, but she also can see her younger self in the woman (I say like Shiny is the milf of this relationship XD). And the unfamiliarity starts creeping in with Rena. Not too much like Poppy, but enough where she may notice. It's a pretty interesting dynamic between all four of them 🤔

On a somewhat more light hearted note; I'm just imagining that scene between Captain Soaulding and that woman he woke up with in The Devil's Rejects, but with Henry and Rena 😅 "Damn it, woman. Didn't you get enough pounding last night?? My dick is still sore." // "Oh~? I can make it feel sooo much better, you know~" // "Fucken' hell..."

“I’m bored”, Rena lamented, letting out a disinterested sigh as she leaned back against the couch and ignored the movie that was currently playing on their shared TV. “Wanna get drunk?” She wasn’t really bored though. She was just looking for an excuse. A reason to get drunk with her friend and maybe repeat the wonderful drunken mistake they made last week, when an innocent game of truth or dare lead to them both getting wasted and falling into bed together. They fucked the whole night. But it wasn’t the longevity of their ‘mistake’ that had made such an impression on Rena. What really got to her was how good she felt. It wasn’t like she didn’t know her friend was hot. She’d checked her out before, never meaning anything by it. Alright, maybe that wasn’t true. Maybe she felt a little more for her friend than she’d like to admit, and for much longer than she was willing to confess. For the longest time, she was able to hide it quite well and act normal around her. But after that night...it was impossible for her to look at Poppy the same way. Whenever she heard water running in the bathroom, she had to fight the urge to jump in the shower with her. Whenever Poppy was dressing herself, she couldn’t resist staring at her just a little longer than a normal friend would and offering to zip up her dress for her. It was hopeless. She was pretty sure that night was a one-off, although she’d been trying to think of a way to replicate it for days now. Maybe she just needed to feel her one more time, and then she could get over this silly crush that had been bugging her way too long. Their friendship was more important, there was no way she was going to let her feelings ruin things.

Ehem. Just dropping in to let Poppy know that before Poppy- Kingston never even thought if women apart from Rena. Not even in a 'I'd hit' kind of way, even during those 'non monogymous stages' Rena put them through. Even Ryan thinks that about some women he sees. King just wasn't interested.

This is for various reasons, some kinda sad, but the point I want Poppy to take in is the fact she was SO CUTE and so wonderful she catapulted King out of his slump and he w i l l tell her that XD

Kingston... You mean to tell me that he really only wanted one gal?? He was the kind of guy who believed in soulmates or first loves?? Ok maybe not that extreme (unless?? 👀). What other reasons are there that Kingston only focuses on his one gal? You said some are sad; are all those sad reasons because of Rena? Mr. And Mrs. Kangaroo don't seem like they struggled with their marriage... (wicked I swear if they had their own rough patches that shaped how Kingston views love, you owe me a new heart 😭😂).

And!!! For Poppy!! Ohhhh my god. She's got no idea how to handle this. This sounds like a plot to a romance film; how could little old, anxious, stays-at-home her have broken a man like KING out of his slump???

I'm just imagining King decides to bring this up randomly while they're cuddling on the couch, watching a nice movie, or reading together. Poppy laughs softly, very flattered but not really letting this information sink in, "Oh, King. You're too sweet to me." until Kingston tilts her head up so she can see the earnest love in his eyes, "No, darlin'. I'm serious. 'Yer the only other woman I've wanted. Ain't no one like 'ya."

And then Poppy stops, looks almost like a deer in headlights as she fully realizes the way he's holding her, how he's looking at her. And it hits her so hard that she's got someone who loves and treasures her THIS much. She has to look away and cover her face with her sweater or in his shoulder, feeling overwhelmed with this but so happy and loved, even if she has no idea how someone like her got a guy like King. And Kingston can't help but laugh and fall even harder for his adorable little lady, "King!" // "Haha, what, doll? I'm just tellin' the truth!" // *flustered, happy girlfriend noises* "I love you too!"

She loves him so much. He makes her feel like the luckiest gal in the world. She wants Kingston to know how happy he makes her and how this new information affects her heart ❤️

Smarty-Pop

Cherik Smarty-Pop Cherik Smarty-Pop Cherik Smarty-Pop!-

I am still in love with this AU XD and honestly, I love the more domestic side of them being an established couple ^^ here are extra thoughts;

Poppy has become a closer of sorts for the theater. She is always the very last one to leave, no matter what. And when everyone is gone, Smartass finally comes out in the open; ranting about the idiot managers and that harpy La Carlotta (Rena?), showing Poppy and asking her input on the music he's working on, asking her about her day, etc. And no matter what, she's just happy to be able to see him out here, not having to be secretive about her love for him now.

And yes. They both retreat under the theater every night. It's not his chambers anymore. It's theirs. Sometimes Poppy sleeps in, and it looks so strange to everyone else when she shows up out of nowhere XD

Smartass being conflicted with wanting Poppy to have a night off, but also not wanting his work to be ruined by everyone else. He writes these plays with meticulous detail, intentionally casting specific actors and singers for specific parts, and Poppy is always given the most important role. But anyone who knows anything about singing knows that the vocal cords must rest. And although those nights grate on the phantom's ears the most, being able to spend time with his star makes the Harry screeching on stage bearable.

Besides; opera dates. If Carlotta isn't the one singing, Poppy can convince Smartass to come watch the play in his box, and they have a little date ^^ the two just sitting back where no one in the crowd can see them and enjoying the show for once ^^

These two definitely get married. They have a private, secret wedding under the opera house. And Poppy convinces her managers to let her have a week vacation for their honeymoon (*cough* with the help of the Opera Ghost)

Can you imagine the phantom of the opera, the ghost who controls the theater, coming down to his lair to see his darling little wife standing there, waiting for him with a stern look tapping foot, and arms crossed? "... ?sighs* What is it, doll?" "You know exactly what, buster!" "Oh c'mon, that moron shoulda' been focusing on his job!" "So you tried to hang him!?" "By his ankles! He's still kickin', ain't he!?"

Poppy and Smartass working together!!! It's so much more than him teaching her how to sing like Cherik; they're both honest with each other, they exchange advice and criticism. Poppy is always the first to read his notes and scripts before he brings them to the managers, and Smarty is the one she really rehearses for the night before. These two are an opera power couple.

I must reiterate; Smartass getting frustrated/possessive as more men (and women) try win Poppy over. She assures him every night that she loves only him, and he knows she does... But God damn it, don't these idiots know a married woman when they see one?? He's angry at them, not her. Poppy... It is a tad frustrating, but it's not like anybody knows she's committed already. It's kind of sweet and flattering, in a way. But of course, she kindly turns them all down. Which unfortunately, causes rumors to spread about her.

Kind of dark, but imagine if Poppy had a more... persistent admirer. They keep sending her poems and flowers, nothing like the roses and meaningful letters that her true love leaves her. They always try to get her to come out to dinner with them, always reaching despite how many times she's tried to carefully push them away. Of course, the phantom sees everything that goes on in the opera house. And he's not at all happy about this 'admirer'.

Greasypop

!!!!!!!! First off- Greasy? I'd like to see you try not to fall in love with Poppy. She has an army of ships behind her (and you're one of them) proving how lovable that woman is. She'll crack through your cold heart.

Second, I need!!!! To write!!! The morning after!!!!

"I make no promises, hermosa. go back to sleep now. and in the morning try to resist; I'd like to see you try~"

Those words, those all too frightening words that came out with a sinful, delicious purr, still haunted her mind. Even as the woman anxiously brewed her coffee and let her porridge grow cold in front of her, even as the idea of walking out her front door today filled with dread as she knew that her neighbor would be there waiting for her. Those words repeated like a mantra in her head, reminding her why she should be scared of Greasy.

But... But... Oh god, why did there always have to be a 'but' when men like Greasy were involved? But Greasy was... What was it about him? Had it been anybody else persuing her this way, Poppy would have kept her door shut and locked. But Greasy?? Somehow, every time he came near, every sweet name he called her in his language, how eager and happy he looked to see her like they were friends, she always seemed to forget in the moment how scary he really was.

"Oh god, what is wrong with me?" Poppy thought aloud, burying her face in her hands. Just the thought of that Spaniard made her heart and mind race for totally different reasons. Was it even her heart speaking at this point?? Anyone with a lick of common sense would have lost any affectionate thoughts they would hold for someone who snuck into their bedroom in the middle of the night.

And she couldn't imagine spending another second with her neighbor! She shouldn't!! No more surprise dinners! No more bumping into each other at the store like a romance film! No more touches! None of that! She-

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Instantly, the poor woman shot up to her feet and unintentionally knocked her chair back- she really was tense today. Quickly placing the chair back on its legs, Poppy briskly made it to her door. Who could that be at this hour? Shouldn't they be focused on getting to work?

Though that question was answered in the most unfortunate way, when she opened the door and found that all too familiar face, "G-Greasy?-"

"Ah, Mariposa. I hope I'm not interrupting your morning~" That smirk- that damn wolf-like smirk that always made her knees feel weak, curled on his lips as he said that. Like he knew damn well how disruptive he really was. With a tilt of his head and an inhuman flick of his wrist, he already had his fingers brushing delicately over her cheek, and she could have sworn she saw his grin broaden when she failed to retain her shuddering gasp. He was always a daring man, but here? Something definitely had changed after last night, "You haven't eaten yet, no? I'd be honored if you'd let me cook for you. I'm certain you'll love what I have in mind~"

And just like every instance before, the fear that she knew she should have felt fizzled away before she even realized.

I wanted to write this too, but I ran out of time xD imagine that Poppy and Greasy kiss for the first time. She doesn't know what happened, and a voice in her head tells her to pull away now. But- was it her that wanted to stay? Or the arms snaking around her waist and not giving her an escape that made her stay rooted? But either way, she can't pull away now. The way he works his tongue on her makes her cling onto him like a lifeline. The growling and huskily spoken Spanish makes her head feel dizzy, enough to let Greasy pull their lips apart before he started trailing lustful kisses down her neck. It all feels like total bliss... But the sharp fangs that brush against her jugular are just enough to make her realize what was going on here.

Pocho

Omg omg omg!!!! Yes yes yes the twins being Johanna! I know I said before that they are too curious about most things to consider the consequences, but I do like to think they also can tell when something is a real threat. In this case, these two siblings can tell something is very wrong with their caretaker. They hate being separated with Percival at the school, but they still write to each other. They even developed their own language after Penelope suspected the judge was reading their letters. To anyone who reads their letters exchanged, it looks like madmen talking- and that is the 'proof' the judge shoes the asylum to get Penny locked away. They confide in each other, Penny begging Percy to find some way to come home and telling him everything that makes her uncomfortable. And it only makes him more determined to get back home.

I raise you; Penny is Johanna, and Percy is Anthony- platonic, of course! Percy managed to escape the school and earn his place on a ship back home. On the way, he and his crew save a stranded man who simply calls himself 'Psycho', and the two bond. Percy isn't sure what it is, but it feels like he's supposed to know this man. Like Psycho is his... But that's impossible. He and Penny's parents abandoned them (though with all of his sisters letters, he's been doubting the Judges words). But Psycho, with his dreary attitude towards life, always lights up when he sees him, and wants to know all he can about him and Penny. And something tells Percy that he can trust him.

Psycho comes home, a spark lit within him now that he finally got to see his son (I like to think Sweeny!Psycho would have that sixth sense of who his kids are like we talked about), and will hopefully see his daughter and wife too... But the stories Percival told him have also fanned the flames of hatred and vengeance in him, too. And he's got plans for that judge brewing in his demented mind, now.

Oh! I forgot to mention! Shiny as Ms. Lovett!!! Buy instead of being in love with Psycho, it was Poppy she was in love with all along, and why she had her own murderous spark too, "There was a barber and his wife, and she was beautiful. A delicate soul, with a heart of gold. And she was beautiful..."

And, on the topic of Poppy as Johanna and Psycho as Anthony... I actually have been thinking of what would happen if their stories were swapped; if Poppy had been locked away in an asylum for years, and Psycho had to recreate his life after getting away from his family... It's been pretty angsty to think about 🥲

Omg I love this so so much!!! I need this so much XD I haven't seen the musical, but I did listen to some of the OST. I didn't know Beetlejuice sang that to Adam!!! XD Poppy should be the ghost couple. She can be a fellow ghost that's looking for help, and unfortunately Rena keeps harassing her XD

Also, Lottie should be Lydia. Rena trying to convince Lottie that she's the better ghost, how she'll get her what she wants, etc. Besides, Lottie would definitely be the first one to push her off a roof XD "Lottie!" "*shrugs* she's already dead."

Though, with Poppy as Johanna and Psycho as Anthony in the Sweeny Todd.. Now I really want to explore Turpin!Rena and Johanna!Poppy with you. Rena in Turpins outfit? The tight pans and frilled sleeves? Her having that collection of ~books~??? The spyhole in Poppy's room???? (*cough* knowing that Rena will just go stand in a dark hallway and rub one out, Turpin!Rena watching Johanna!Poppy through the peephole while she's fingerings herself?????) Ohhhhh my god this is all so awful and dark. We must discuss this in further detail (if/when you want ^^)

This is all I got tonight. There's so much more I want to discuss! Like Heathers!Kingpop, Bonnie and Clyde!Griny (which btw, yes. Wheezy and Jane Doe need to be Buck and Blanch!) and LSOH!Peezy!!! But I need sleep 😅 I hope you enjoy reading these! Thank you so much for answering! ^^

I've been in a musical mood since I moved into my apartment (Seriously, there's something very satisfying about playing these Broadway songs out loud in your own living room (when my roommate left of course)), and seeing your dark Musical AU Post made me think of musical AU's for my... Oof countless ships 😅 of course you don't have to worry about answering ^^

Smarty-Pop • Phantom of the Opera AU

I have not known peace ever since you briefly mentioned their Erik/Christine dynamic in my sad Smarty-Pop ending drabble, and i mean that in a positive way XD and this gave me the perfect opportunity to explore an actual AU.

I'm thinking maybe Poppy can play a little bit of Madam Giry's role too, being the only one who knows the Phantom's secrets, the only calm one when the Phantom of the Opera strikes and possibly even delivering messages to the opera managers for Smartass. And unlike with the OG story, I like to imagine them in an already established relationship here- just, you know, a little secretive since it's the phantom we're talking about.

It's not uncommon for Poppy to go disappear down in the depths of the Opera House, whether it be through her mirror or one of the trap doors. And if one were to look through her dressing room, you could find many pink roses in various stages of wilt, and letters personally addressed to her written in the same colored ink. She claims she doesn't know who sends her them, but her dreamy smile shows more than just flattery. She leaves her own notes for Smartass as well, leaving them in loge #5 just before a show begins. Just sweet love letters only for his eyes.

No, they don't always agree. Poppy has lost track of how many times she's stormed down to Smartass' domain after something he most certainly did, and all the attention and admirers she had been gaining as her stardom rose have been dangerously grating Smartass' nerves. But at the end of each night, she is his, and he is hers. As it should be.

(Yeah this is partially me venting how i think a Christine x Phantom relationship would have turned out if it was the canon ending XD Also I'd like to point out that you said yandere Snartass might make his S/O marry him, which also correlates with the phantom trying to force Christine's hand. That is totally not going to become part of the Smarty-pop AU) thought XD

Greasypop • Dracula AU

I did struggle with Greasypop admittedly, but then I heard the song Please don't Make Me Love You from the soundtrack and I could not get this dynamic for this ship out of my head. Besides, it gives me an excuse to use the Vampire or the Monster AU XD No matter how you slice it, Dracula is pretty manipulative when you think about it. Especially with how he convinces Mina that Lucy's death was not his doing, which does fit Greasy's more manipulative nature... Not to mention that it'd be his fantasy to have as many hotties as Dracula did 😅

I'm just imagining vampire/incubus Greasy shows up into town, looking to plant his roots here for a while, and Poppy is one of his targets. Poppy can tell that something isn't quite right with him, even when he offers her comfort after she reads about yet another attack in the night. There's just something not right with Greasy.

But even so, she's having a hard time denying what he does to her. Just like how theres something about him that isn't quite right, there's something about him that makes her head feel dizzy. Something that let's his touch linger on her shoulder or arm before she snaps back to her senses. Something that makes her wish those evenings when he shows up unannounced and they wind up sharing a meal together don't end. It's like her heart is trying to give itself to Greasy, and her mind is trying to keep her grounded in reality.

It's not long before she breaks down, feeling like she's being driven mad, and just asks her friend- if he can even be called that- what he wants. She knows Greasy is not who he says he is, and she knows there has to be a reason he keeps coming back to her even though she's made it clear she doesn't want a man right now. Something tells her she doesn't want to know the truth, and yet another something tells her she wouldn't care.

But either way, no matter what, Poppy knows one thing for certain. Her heart can't take much more of this. And she didn't want it to. She doesn't want someone to come around and ruin this tranquility she's built for herself just for his own fun. So she asks, practically begs him, to just don't make her fall in love with him. Don't make her chase after him if he had no intentions of keeping her. Her instincts tell her that this is a terrible idea, that she should have slammed the door on the Spaniard long ago as she locked eyes with him.

But there was just something about him that made her love him.

(Not exactly the Dracula route I meant, I'm still working on it, but I hope it's still fun to read XD)

Peezy • Little Shop of Horrors AU

Ok ok I know this may not sound right but hear me out- Poppy x Wheezy are the most wholesome of the ships, kind of like how Audrey and Symore are wholesome. And also share the fact that Poppy/Audrey still see Wheezy/Seymore as such a good person deep down despite knowing or finding out the things they've done. Not to mention that Wheezy would treat Poppy right just like how Seymore would for Audrey.

Poppy and Wheezy work together in the same flower shop, and they both would agree that they are the high lights of each others work day. It's not exactly hidden that the two have feelings for each other- as their boss blatantly told Wheezy that he knew he thought things about the sweet girl. Though for many reasons, one of which is Poppy's horrid boyfriend Ben, they aren't together.

It was always heart-wrenching and rage inducing whenever Poppy would come in with fresh tears in her eyes, or when she would brush it off as just 'typical relationship struggles'. This one is special because here, Poppy is playing the role of Anthony, and Psycho Johanna. Specifically, I'm imagining the part of the play where Johanna is stuck in the asylum and Anthony is trying to break her free. Poppy in the Tiny-Tots AU is trying to set her friend and love free the second she finds out about him being locked away. Even if she has to employ the help of criminals to get him out.

Or, if we want more horror, Psycho is Sweeny, and Poppy is Lucy. Falsely accused of crimes he didn't commit just so the accuser could take his wife. Despite the fight he put up, Psycho and Poppy were separated, and she... Got hurt badly. And Psycho only finds out later when he comes back, now driven over the edge of sanity after all these years. And now, it's time for revenge.

Popshine • The Count of Monte Cristo AU

Another odd choice, I know. I almost gave this AU to Peezy in fact, but... Honestly I don't have too good of an excuse, I just want Shiny to sing Hell to Your Doorstep.

Also, just- can you imagine these girls using threads from their clothes in placement of engagement rings?? Shiny coming back years later, a shell of her former self but still being in love with Poppy despite how angry she is?? Poppy recognizing her immediately despite all that's happened and does her best to convince Shiny she still loves her???? My heart-

Sooo... I was looking through the KingPop inboard and found the more ~exciting~ pins, and before I knew it, I started thinking of more NSFW KingPop thoughts... Mainly what happens when Poppy gets needy 😅 I'm probably gonna regret this when I'm not half asleep. Feel free to ignore this if you want. But I couldn't keep these to myself 😅

Poppy is a lady, yes. But that doesn't mean she doesn't get sexually frustrated or pent up like everyone else. And with a guy like King? I can imagine he lights a fire in her that her previous relationships haven't. So she and King are definitely going to have a honeymoon phase even before they're married.

This would especially be apparent when they're still long distance. King being a 4 hour drive from her (in modern times with modern cars and highways mind you! So who knows how long it was back then) means she can't exactly see him whenever she wants. She can call him! But it's not the same as being able to wake up in the morning next to him or being able to kiss him before work... Or him being able to touch her. All she has is her imagination and books to keep herself company.

Which would have led to her eventually starting to call Kinston just to hear his voice. She genuinely misses him! But she also really likes his voice. It's perfect when she's in the mood and he's not there. At the beginning stages of their relationship, she'd be pretty shy about admitting this. But I'm sure Kingston would be able to hear her breathy tone or notice how she seems almost ~distracted~ over the phone 😏

When she eventually moves in with him, she has a lot of time on her hands now (whether she's a stay at home wife now or if she's taking a break from work to get settled in this new stage of the relationship). And Kingston has his work to do for lord knows how long. Now that she's here and they can finally be together without using phones, she really wants to be around him. Not even in a sexual way more often than not; she just wants to be able to enjoy his presence now. But yes, she also really needs him. She'll try to work off her energy around the house, sprucing things up here and there (on the topic, what kind of house do the Roo's live in? They're rich and in Vegas. Is it like a suite? Is it a mansion???) And getting her things unpacked... But when the fire is lit, there's not much that can put it out 😅

The one she puts on that tells him all systems are a go~ she doesn't make any suggestions, she doesn't lock the door behind them. It's his choice if they're going to get busy here... And if he decides no, then at least she got to have a lovely meal with her husband and see his face light up when she came in ^^ (regardless if anything happens or not, i can imagine Poppy's going to be pretty flustered. Especially the first time this happened; she's really that down bad for the aussie that she was willing to risk his employees hearing them 😅)

Speaking of the red dress, something a bit more wholesome. Yes, all of the Poppy ships make her feel beautiful, and she knows herself that she's cute (she will weaponize the cuteness for emergencies XD). But Kingston is one of the ships that make her feel like she can be sexy. She can pull off the red dress and turn heads- his head. She wants to be the minx that'll drive him crazy. She starts to feel extra confident with Kingston, and lets that side of herself out more with him. She's still classy, and she prefers to keep her love life private (for the most part, as you see above), but Kingston gets to see a part of herself she wasn't even sure she had before.

I know I've sent you enough asks about Poppy and Kingston... But now I've been thinking about their trip to Australia and now I HAVE to send you my thoughts on them in the Outback XD

Of course as usual, you don't have to answer right away, and whether these are true on Kingstons end is up to you ^^ and if you have any thoughts on this, I'd love to hear them!!!

First things first. The language/slang barrier. Can you inagine??? XD I did not confirm if your guys language was still the same around the 40's, but still!!! Like-

I know that by then they've more than likely cleared some things up about their languages, but still, this was too hilarious for me not to include XD besides, hearing your boyfriend talk about bringing thongs to his parents' house would factory reset any American I bet XD

Poppy just- not at all being prepared for the Bush XD but also loving it!! She's not used to not having the sounds of the bustling yet dangerous city outside her window at night, but she definitely appreciates the lack of it. Having neighbors being literal yards apart and not having to worry about walking too loudly for people below you, etc. Of course Poppy still minds her manners, but it's very jarring and relieving for her out here ^^

Under the cut are my thoughts on Kingston and only wanting one woman.

First of all... the sad 😅 Rena kinda took all the life out of King while they were together. His original character was very angry all the time, very dangerous with his mood swings (a little psychotic), and very unhappy. Obviously the character has changed since then, but I think he was very like that during the middle years of his and Rena's marriage. After they cooled off from the insanely in love honeymoon stage (which to their credit- lasted a little over the decade including their teen years from 16-19) but before they decide to separate (at least- in the Poppy or x reader 👀 timeline. Otherwise he ends up mellowing out with age. Loses the will to care about what Rena does), King was very work-oriented. And well you know what that work is 😅 So a lot of the time he was angry, aching to hurt someone, and just plainly unhappy. Except for times spent with Ryan and Rena alone ^^ (Remember- he didn't know know that Rena ever cheated on him. He just had terrible suspicions. He 'knew', but it was never official)

So yeah, he wasn't thinking about any other women. Definetly not when he and Rena were mad for eachother and not later on.

The reason he didn't think if any other women when he and Rena were together together, not even in passing not even by accident, is because when King falls for someone he falls s o hard and he becomes s o beguiled that he can only think of them ^^ He's really like that. He loves very simply (If he wants you there's no question) and whole-heartedly.

Poppy laughs softly, very flattered but not really letting this information sink in, "Oh, King. And then Poppy stops, looks almost like a deer in headlights as she fully realizes the way he's holding her, how he's looking at her. And it hits her so hard that she's got someone who loves and treasures her THIS much. She has to look away and cover her face with her sweater or in his shoulder, feeling overwhelmed with this but so happy and loved, even if she has no idea how someone like her got a guy like King. And Kingston can't help but laugh and fall even harder for his adorable little lady, "King!" // "Haha, what, doll? I'm just tellin' the truth!" // *flustered, happy girlfriend noises* "I love you too!"

She loves him so much. He makes her feel like the luckiest gal in the world. She wants Kingston to know how happy he makes her and how this new information affects her heart ❤️
